B
B
Having
gone
through
a
difficult
childhood
Jamie
decided
early
on
that
he
wanted
to
help
people.
He
served
15
years
in
the
Air
National
Guard
and
deployed
overseas
eight
times
in
the
hours
after
9
11.
When
most
people
were
fleeing
the
city.
Jamie
went
the
opposite
direction.
Spending
two
days
at
Ground,
Zero
later
in
life,
Jamie
realized
his
true
calling
was
to
help
children.
He
went
back
to
school
to
become
a
high
school
guidance
counselor
and
came
home
happy
every
day
in
2004
Jamie
was
diagnosed
with
a
rare
cancer.
B
B
He
led
by
example,
and
showed
them
both
what
it
means
to
be
brave,
good
and
loved.
Sadly,
he
lost
his
battle
in
November
of
2012..
The
doctors
described
his
fighting
Spirit
as
something
they
have
never
quite
seen
before.
Today,
we
are
here
to
honor
Jamie's
memory,
his
fighting
spirit
and
Generous
Heart.
B
His
accomplishments
to
his
school
and
Community
are
outstanding
and
his
humility,
kindness,
positive
attitude
and
generous
Spirit
are
a
benefit
and
inspiration
to
all.
In

to

one

an
intrinsic
motivation

learn
languages
and
an
ability
to
draw
connections
between
various
romance

It's
an
honor
to
be
able
to
present
the

award
this
evening,
Mr
Greco,
who
was
a
World
War
II
veteran,
passed
away
a
little
over
two
years
ago.
I
know
that
he
loved
attending
this
ceremony
each
and
every
year
and
I
still
feel
like
he
should
be
sitting
over
there
at
his
seat.
Even
though
he's
no
longer
with
us,
his
impact
will
be
felt
for
years
to
come.
A
He
was
one
of
our
biggest
cheerleaders
and
I
am
so
happy
to
have
this
award
that
honors
his
legacy
in
keeping
with
the
characteristics
of
Mr

has
worked
incredibly
hard
to
get

once
was
to
know
her
for
a
lifetime.
She
was
often
referred
to
as
the
glue
of
the
mathematics
department,
but
truly
she
was
the
glue
of
Byram
health,
whether
it
was
her
colleagues,
administrators
students
or
parents,
whether
at
the
high
school
HCC,
Wampus
or
Coleman
Hill.
M
This
scholarship
is
given
to
a
student
who
personifies
these
qualities.
This
year's
recipient,
like
Michelle,
is
kind
hard-working
resilient
and
a
true
team
player,
in
addition
to
being
a
coach
for
both
varsity

and

P
The
PTSA
Carrillo
leadership
award
is
granted
to
a
student
who
demonstrates
outstanding
leadership,
skills,
character,
dedication,
loyalty
and
Humanity.
The
PTSA
has
provided
a
one
thousand
dollar
scholarship
and
we
are
incredibly
grateful
to
be
able
to
provide
it
to
this
year's
winner.
What
makes
this
award
unique
is
that
the
winner
was
nominated
by
their
peers.
P
This
year's
winner
is
described
by
her
classmates
as
one
of
the
kindest
and
most
charismatic
people
they've
ever
met
in
their
nomination
of
her
fellow
students
stated
things
like
she
makes
everyone
around
her
feel,
welcome,
she's,
always
smiling
and
the
first
to
say,
hi,
and
she
is
a
leader
in
the
community
because
of
her
ability
to
inspire
others
to
do
the
right
thing.
It
is
clear
that
this
year's
winner
has
been
a
vital
member
of
Byram
Hall's
high
school.
She
has
served
as
a
peer
leader
and
a
co-captain
of
the
varsity
cheerleading
team.
P
Not
only
did
she
do
all
of
the
baking
and
decorating,
but
she
manages
all
of
her
own
social
media
marketing
packaging
and
delivering
too.
This
student
leads
by
example,
is
she
is
hard-working,
humble
and
always
willing
to
lend
a
helping
hand.
We
have
been
grateful
to
have
her

Byram
Hills
High
School,
and
we
wish
her
well
in
her
next
chapter.
It
is
an
honor
and
a
privilege
to
present
the
PTSA
Carrillo
leadership
award
to
Tuda
odegi.
Thank
you.
A
All
right,
it's
so
exciting.
The
my
favorite
part
of
this
night
is
sitting
over
there
watching
the
students,
as
the
descriptions
are
being
read
and
when
they
realize
that
it's
their
friend
who's
going
to
get
the
award.
They
really
get
genuinely
happy,
and
it's
just
so
fun
to
see.
So
we
are
at
our
last
award
and
it's
the
high
Black
Jack
willenberg
Memorial
award,
and
each
year
it's
presented
to
a
senior
who
has
a
humanitarian
Outlook,
a
willingness
to
extend
themselves
for
others
and
has
an
optimistic
approach
to
life
and
its
challenges.
A
The
award
is
named
after
two
Byram
Hills
High
School
Educators,
who
were
student
favorites.
While
they
were
here,
it's
considered
the
highest
award.
A
senior

receive
at
Byram
Hills,
High
School,
because
the
winner
Best

who
leads
by

A
A
She's
a
member
of

her
genuine
academic
engagement
is
truly
remarkable
from
her
role
as
a
computer
science
teaching
assistant
to
her
leadership
in
Science
Olympiad
and
the
physics
and
engineering
club.
She
is
an
insatiable
curiosity
to
learn
and
grow,
and
she
truly
sees

make
a
positive
impact
on
the
world.
In

to
her
academic
Pursuits,

A
She

by
an

her
calm
and
composed
demeanor.
Her
involvement
in
community
service,
such
as
the

acting
with

her
ethical

everything
she
does.
She
also
has
such
a
vibrant
personality
that
her
classmates
selected
her
for
this
year's
homecoming
Court.
This
year
she
discovered
a
new
passion
through
her
participation
in
Unified
sports
quickly,
making
it
one
of
her
favorite
and
most
rewarding
activities,
as
if
her
commitment
and
excellence
in
academics,
Athletics
and
service
weren't
enough.
A
She
also
taught
herself
the
guitar
and
is
an
accomplished
and
talented
singer
and
songwriter
her
authentic
leadership,
exceptional
academic
abilities
and
multi-faceted
talents
make
her
not
only
a
fantastic
student
but
an
even
better
person.
It
is
with
great
honor
and
pleasure
that
we
present
this
year's
high
blood
Jack
Wallenberg
Memorial
award
to
Lily
Feldman.
A
So
there
are
a
few
Traditions
that
go
with
this
award
and
first
Lily
will
receive
a
one
thousand
dollar
scholarship
from
the
PTSA
as
the
recipient
of
this
award,
and
we
are
very
thankful
for
the
PTSA
for
supporting
all
of
our
Awards.
Second,
she
will
have
her
name
placed
on
the
Perpetual
plaque
alongside
the
other
winners
of
this
award,
and
the
plaque
is
hung
in
the
main
entrance
hallway,
so
every
student
can
see
it
as
they
pass
in
the
morning.
A
Do
you
I,
don't
even
know
if
you
realize
you
won
another
award
before
this,
because
you
were
probably
so
worried
about
this
speech.
But
here
you
go.
It's
your
time
to
to
speak
and
I'll
come
back
up
after
you're
done
so
Lily.
Congratulations.
L
Thank
you
Mr
Walsh
good
evening.
Everyone
and
congratulations
to
all
my
fellow
classmates
who
received
an
award
tonight
I,
would
first
like
to
think
all
of
the
faculty
and
staff
for
their
continued
contributions
to
our
school
community
and
everything
that
they
have
done
to
enrich
my
time
here
at
Byram.
Hills
I
would
also
like
to
thank
my
family
and
friends
for
all
of
their
unwavering
support.
L
I'll
open
my
remarks
by
relaying
one
of
the
best
pieces
of
advice
I
have
ever
received
always
replace
the
toilet
paper.
Roll
I
promise
not
to
wax
poetically
about
restroom
habits
and
ply
count,
but
bear
with
me
I
encountered
the
pithy
quirky
sentiment
on
a
field
trip.
My
classmates
and
I
took
to
a
local
Buddhist
Monastery
in
the
third
grade.
L
One
of
them
sure
knew
how
to
capture
the
attention
and
long-term
memory
of
eight-year-old
Minds,
always
replace
the
toilet
paper
roll.
He
said
to
a
reception
of
collective
giggles,
while
I
couldn't
fully
appreciate
the
depth
of
the
sentiment
at
the
time.
I
have
derived
quite
a
bit
of
meaning
and
motivation
from
it.
In
the
intervening
years,
it's
marginally
easier
to
ignore
a
dwindling
roll,
but
taking
a
moment
to
replace
it
yourself
is
a
simple,
yet
major,
kindness
to
the
next
stall
user.
L
As
my
fellow
seniors
and
I
approach,
graduation
and
embark
on
the
next
chapter
of
Our
Lives
adults
often
tell
us
to
be
the
change
that
we
want
to
see
in
the
world,
while
I
have
no
doubt
that
many
of
us
will
go
on
to
accomplish
amazing
things
and
make
great
strides
in
our
own
respective
fields.
I
believe
that
there
is
great
Merit
in
taking
something,
however,
small
and
simply
making
it
better
for
the
next
Generation
to
come.
L
Despite
the
infancy
of
the
program.
There
have
been
incredible
improvements
since
its
Inception,
with
the
joint
efforts
of
Mr,
Carpenter,
Mr,
Rosa
and
many
other
instrumental
teachers.
The
program
was
able
to
intimate
Implement
a
new
sport,
unified
bowling
and
established
the
First
school-wide
Assembly
to
cheer
on
the
players
for
one
of
their
games.
L
Replacing
the
role
so
to
speak
can
be
even
simpler
than
that
to
me,
it
comes
down
to
picking
up
the
trash
on
the
turf
field
or
bleachers
after
a
sports
game.
Even
if
it
wasn't
yours,
it's
about
putting
a
smile
on
someone's
face,
even
if
it's
a
stranger
and
that's
sagemonk
all
those
years
ago,
believe
that
if
we
continue
to
replace
the
role
it,
it
won't
only
improve
the
world
far
beyond
the
confines
of
a
public
restroom,
it
becomes
a
way
of
life.
L
Following
his
advice,
we'll
never
again
leave
something
the
same
as
we
found
it.
We
will
always
make
it
better
as
a
part
of
this
honor
I
am
humbled
to
have
the
opportunity
to
donate
to
an
organization
and
cause
that's
close
to
my
heart.
This
year,
I
would
like
to
allocate
the
funds
to
the
Special
Olympics
for
those
of
you
who
may
not
be
familiar
with
the
Special
Olympics
and
its
Mission,
akin
to
our
own
Unified
sports
program.
This
organization,
orchestrates
athletic
competitions
for
special
needs.
Youth.
L
To
me,
this
organization
truly
embodies
the
spirit
of
making
others
lives.
Better
I
have
been
able
to
see
firsthand
how
a
sports
team
can
truly
alter
one's
life
by
cultivating
a
supportive
community
and
a
sense
of
camaraderie
inspiring
confidence
and
providing
something
to
look
forward
to
every
day
with
this
donation,
I
hope
to
play
a
small
part
in
helping
the
Special
Olympics
continue
to
create
these
opportunities.
L
We
look
at
an
empty
toilet
paper,
roll
a
little
differently,
not
as
a
hindrance
to
replace,
but
instead
as
a
way
to
make
something
better.
I
wish
all
of
my
fellow
classmates
the
best
of
luck
as
we
embark
on
the
next
chapter
of
Our
Lives,
knowing
that
there
are
truly
great
things
that
lie
ahead
of
us.
Thank
you.
