From YouTube: Athletic Signing Day - April 26, 2022 [Livestreamed]
Description
Livestreamed April 16, 2022
A
And
I'd
like
to
thank
mr
pollock's,
the
fine
art
arts
director,
as
well
as
mr
melso,
who
helped
us
out
with
the
live
stream
as
well
as
our
audio.
For
today
we
have
a
great
event
set
up.
We
have
coach
allen,
we'll
introduce
the
players,
he'll
do
a
quick
interview
and
then
we'll
have
them
sign
their
letters
so
without
any
further
delay.
Here's
coach
allen.
B
Wow
big
crowd.
It's
exciting
thanks
for
attending
it's
a
proud
day
for
our
programs
here
at
byron,
hills,
our
athletic
department,
our
school,
but
most
importantly,
to
the
athletes
there
up
here
at
the
deus,
along
with
their
families.
B
Now,
usually,
if
you
know
me,
I
I
have
a
tendency
to
tell
some
stories
and
have
a
tendency
to
be
long-winded,
so
I
apologize
to
all
you
on
the
right
here.
Usually
the
stories
have
something
to
do
with
some
sort
of
an
animal,
a
deer,
a
lion,
it's
kind
of
what
I
guess,
I'm
known
for
of
sorts.
The
story
will
be
a
little
different.
B
The
secretary
could
tell
in
a
second
that
such
country
backwards,
people
and
no
business
being
at
harvard
probably
didn't
even
deserve
to
be
in
cambridge.
We
want
to
see
the
president.
The
man
said
secretary
snaptol,
he's
busy
all
day,
we'll
wait
for
hours.
The
secretary
ignored
them,
hoping
that
a
couple
would
finally
discourage
be
discouraged
and
go
away.
B
They
didn't
the
secretary
grew
very
impatient.
Maybe
if
they
just
see
you
for
a
few
minutes,
they'll
leave.
She
told
the
president
he
sighed
in
exasperation
and
he
nodded.
Someone
of
his
importance
obviously
didn't
have
the
time
to
spend
with
them,
but
he
just
tested
the
kingdom
dresses
in
the
home
spun
suits.
He
didn't
want
them
in
his
outer
office
anymore.
B
B
The
president
was
pleased
he
could
get
rid
of
them
now
and
the
lady
turned
her
husband
and
said
quietly
is
that
all
it
costs
to
start
a
university?
Why
don't?
We
just
start
our
own
and
her
husband
nodded,
and
in
that
moment
the
president's
face
wilted
in
confusion,
as
mr
and
mrs
leland
stanford
walked
away,
traveled
to
palo
alto,
california,
where
they
establish
a
university
that
bears
their
name.
B
That
is
how
stanford
got
their
name.
Clearly,
this
story
is
really
about
judging
a
book
by
its
cover,
of
course,
never
underestimating
character
because
they
come
in
a
different
package
in
psychology.
We
call
this
something
now
guys.
I
have
two
baseball
players
up
here
who
are
nervous
waiting
for
questions.
B
Now,
for
those
of
you
guys,
don't
know
they
they've
been
eagerly
waiting
for
this.
This
is
my
moment
senior
first
period.
Psychology,
thank
you
to
the
guidance
staff
for
giving
me
first
period,
psychology
class
for
seniors.
It's
glorious
boys,
any
idea,
that's
okay,
because
irene's
in
the
class-
and
I
know
she's
gonna
nail
it
irene.
What
is
it
called.
B
Bob
you
never
tell
me
that
you're
nervous
early
in
the
morning,
no
good,
but
really
the
story,
I
think,
is
about
the
underdog
and
at
one
point
in
time,
each
of
each
of
you
faced
this
here
at
buyer
mills
and
which
truly
impressed
us
the
most
is
how
you've
handled
that
and
how
you've
handled
all
the
challenges
have
been
set
in
front
of
you.
B
You
represent
what
is
great
here
or
about
our
program.
You've
come
to
represent
our
mentor
program,
our
peer
leadership
program,
our
science
research
program
and
everything
else
that
displays
a
wide
range
of
leadership
and
academia
each
and
every
one
of
you
sitting
at
the
stairs
while
performing
on
the
athletic
fields
and
gyms
and
courts.
B
You've
had
your
academic
average
surge
and
each
of
you
blossomed
into
incredible
role:
models
here
at
byram
hills
as
evidence
sitting
this
room.
We
have
two
con
edison
scholar
athlete
award
winners
along
with
six
nominees
for
the
award,
which
tells
you
the
educational
component
for
each
of
these
athletes,
and
mr
jared
cohen,
will
be
up
tomorrow
for
that
award
and
hopefully
we'll
take
that
home.
B
Now,
for
a
school,
the
size
of
byram
hills,
a
b
school
according
to
new
york
state,
we
have
10
athletes
playing
at
the
next
level
than
a
testament
to
your
accomplishments.
Throughout
the
last
four
years
now,
every
student
athlete
aspires
to
continue
playing
their
respective
sport,
at
least
at
the
next
level.
It's
a
dream
to
compete
and
continue
to
compete
against
the
best
competition
in
the
world.
B
There
are
8
million
students
who
participate
in
high
school
athletics,
and
yet
only
480
000
compete
at
the
next
level,
and
so
today
we're
doing
something
special.
It's
national
letter
of
intent
day
here
at
the
hills,
and
these
letters
represent
you
guys,
the
best
of
what
we
have
to
offer.
Now
before
we
introduce
the
players.
B
We
want
to
take
a
moment
to
thank
the
people
most
instrumental,
and
I
think
you
should
take
part
in
this
as
well
a
moment
to
say
thank
you
to
the
coaches,
the
athletic
department,
a
special
thank
you
to
ms
galgano
in
the
athletic
office,
dan
santor,
our
steam
trainer
teachers,
support
staff
guidance,
the
administration
and,
of
course,
without
further
ado,
you
must
say
thank
you
to
your
parents,
who
are
now
tired
of
driving
you
to
practice
now
guys
they
have
to
walk.
Congratulations
round
of
applause
for
everyone.
B
And
without
further
ado,
without
question
round
applause
for
the
man
that
helps
put
this
together,
man
behind
the
scenes,
red
alcantara.
B
Okay,
we
are
going
to
introduce
each
of
the
athletes,
read
a
little
something
about
them
and
then
we're
going
to
act
like
this
is
a
presser
we're
going
to
ask
them
questions.
There
are
live
mics
in
front
of
them.
Hopefully
they
will
be
good
to
answer
those
questions.
Bob
you
have
a
chance
to
redeem
yourself
here
very
excited.
B
B
B
I
was
like
okay,
let's
move
on,
I
guess
at
times
I
serve
as
a
sounding
board
for
irene
and
I've
been
pretty
privy
to
her
mind,
and
what
I
found
is
that
she
is
utterly
fearless
strong
and
courageous.
Most
importantly,
she's
intellectually
curious
she's.
Always
thinking
of
the
next
step
always
asking
well,
what
would
that
do
hard
decision
to
go
overseas?
B
B
Her
coach
says
coach
kenzel
says
it's:
the
impact
she's
had
on
us
off
the
field
which
we'll
always
remember
she
conducts
all
team
functions
and
fundraisers
and
is
the
first
to
speak
up
and
she
thinks
we
should
make
adjustments,
which
I
often
find
to
be
better
than
mine.
She's,
had
a
massive
impact
on
teammates
or
classmates
environmentalist
community
as
a
whole
as
a
whole.
Our
loss
will
be
ireland's
gain
irena.
B
B
C
Closer,
my
biggest
challenge
is
100,
leaving
my
sister,
I'm
gonna
miss
you
stage
and
my
biggest
advice
is
that's
a
great
question,
mr
allen.
Let
me
just
think.
C
We
were
passing
it
this
morning.
I
got
it.
My
biggest
piece
of
advice
stage
is
to
work
just
as
hard
in
the
classroom.
You've
got
a
lot
of
drive
on
the
lacrosse
field
and
a
lot
of
anger.
Maybe
it's
because
I'm
not
I'm
getting
in
your
way
or
I'm
not
passing
it
to
you,
but
I
would
say
like
put
both
efforts
for
sure
and
you're
a
student
athlete
so
put
both
try
not
to
miss
me
too
much.
I
guess
you
got
a
big
legacy
to
fill
so
try
just
try
your
best.
B
B
Well
done.
Our
second
athlete
is
bobby
coyne
heading
off
to
boston
college,
to
pick
to
pitch
for
the
bc
eagles
round,
applause
for
bobby.
B
B
B
D
Yeah
so
going
into
oh
going
into
college
next
year.
I
think
some
leadership
lessons
that
I'm
going
to
bring
in
to
the
team
is
sort
of
what
I've
learned
throughout
byron.
D
Hills
is
selfless
and
relentless,
something
that
has
been
a
big
factor
to
our
program,
and
so
I'm
going
to
go
in
there
first
off
selfless
kind
of
just
putting
the
team
first
and
doing
whatever
I
can
to
help
improve
that
record
and
then
also
relentless
going
100
with
everything
I
do
trying
to
get
better
and
make
the
people
around
me
better
and
then
what
I
would
have
to
say
my
proudest
moment
at
byram
hills
so
far
is
probably
in
my
freshman
year
the
semifinals
game.
Oh
wait!
D
No
freshman
year
regular
season
game
pitching
against
rye
for
a
complete
game
and
getting
getting
the
win.
I
think
that,
like
kind
of
showed
me
what
it
what
it
was
like
at
barm
hills,
the
environment
and
everything
around
it.
So
I
think
that
that
game
freshman
year
really
helped
me
along
the
way,
the
last
three
years
and
has
just
improved
me.
Overall,
as
a
player
and
a
person.
B
B
These
are
the
midshipmen
right.
Oh
it's
harsh,
that's
harsh
black
knights.
You
know
not
not
to
brag,
but
I
played
for
the
nanu
at
golden
knights.
When
I
was
in
high
school,
I
played
yeah.
This
is
kind
of
excuse
to
go
through
my
high
school
career.
Here
I
played
11
junior
varsity
games.
B
In
addition
to
going
to
west
point
for
baseball
this
past
season,
jared
threw
for
nearly
400
yards
with
15
passing
and
six
running
touchdowns.
He
was
a
three
year
varsity
player
and
chosen
unanimously
as
a
senior
captain.
He
was
all
conference
all
section
honorable
mention
and
honorable
mention
for
the
golden
dozen.
B
In
addition
to
that,
he
participates
in
the
talking
business
club
peer,
tutor
organization,
the
investments
in
marcus
club,
9,
914,
cares,
914,
cares,
organization,
athletic
advisory
committee
and
he
carries
a
3.6
average
86
average,
showing
you
how
well-rounded
he
truly
is
coach.
Saunders,
says
jared
is
a
bright,
determined
young
man
with
much
to
offer
his
devotion
to
his
country
and
his
teammates
speak
volumes
towards
his
character.
B
West
point
is
getting
one
of
the
best,
and
I
know
jared
will
continue
to
make
us
all
proud
now
so
far
the
baseball
squad
is
20
and
18,
and
yet
amazing
fashion
jared
mandy's,
a
fashion
they're.
Only
two
players
on
the
roster
from
the
state
of
new
york,
which
I
didn't
know
with
that
said,
are
you
excited
to
play
for
a
team
that
offers
a
wide
variety
of
diversity?
E
Absolutely
west
point
has
a
diversity;
obviously
they
have
all
50
states
are
represented
each
year
and
in
new
york,
it's
very
close.
So
that's
definitely
something
I
value
diversity
with
within
the
team.
There's
different
positions
that
I
can
offer
in
my
my
sense
of
diversity,
on
the
baseball
field
and
about
beating
navy,
as
the
second
part.
E
Leadership
qualities,
I
think
my
iq
on
the
baseball
field,
has
always
been
something
I
take
pride
in.
I
try
to
with
coach
saunders.
We
try
to
rip
out
every
play
in
every
scenario
in
the
baseball
field
and
it
really
prepares
us
like
backhand,
on
a
6'5
blade
to
get
the
guy
out
of
third,
like
other
teams,
don't
rep
that.
So
I
take
pride
in
that
in
my
my
iq
on
the
base
paths
when
I'm
up
in
the
box
and
when
I'm
in
the
field.
B
At
jobs
hopkins
she
plans
on
studying,
molecular
and
cellular
biology.
She
will
be
playing
for
coach,
catherine
bixby,
who,
by
the
way
I
looked
her
up.
She
looks
very
tough
in
her
photos
very
intimidating
that
kind
of
like
get
on
the
line
and
sprint
type
of
a
coach.
Good
luck
with
that.
I
showed
a
picture
of
her
to
irene
and
irene's
response
was
no
worries.
B
Corelli's,
a
beast
love
that
during
beth's
time
on
varsity
basketball,
she's
been
a
part
of
a
team
with
an
overall
record
of
63
and
34,
with
team
accomplishments
of
two
league
titles
and
a
final
appearance
for
our
region
in
westchester
county
in
the
2021
season.
As
an
individual,
she
was
named
all
league
from
ninth
through
twelfth
grade.
She
was
all
sectioned
for
two
years,
including
co-mvp
of
the
league
in
your
junior
season.
B
Coach
ryan
says
quote:
she
always
wants
the
ball
in
her
hands
during
pressure
situations
and
always
willing
to
learn
from
mistakes.
The
primary
reason
why
she
won
the
award
was
because
she
carries
a
4.2
average
in
school.
She
participated
in
the
westchester
science
and
engineering
fair.
She
competed
against
90
percent
of
seniors
and
finished
fourth
place
in
her
presentation
about
biology.
B
F
Those
are
great
questions,
okay,
so
the
first
one
I
would
say
at
the
start
of
my
sophomore
year
kind
of
going
into
the
science
research
program
that
was
kind
of
what
sparked
my
affinity
for
science
and
biology
so
to
attribute
that
to
a
teacher,
I'm
going
to
have
to
say
dr
matthew
and
mrs
greenwald
for
kind
of
fostering
that
love
of
science
from
the
beginning
of
high
school.
And
then
what
was
the
second
question.
F
Would
probably
be
getting
to
play
on
both
varsity
soccer
and
basketball,
with
my
sister
grace,
she
she's
she's,
been
she's,
been
really
awesome
to
watch
throughout
high
school
and
I'm
so
proud
of
the
person
and
student
and
athlete
she's
becoming,
and
I
can't
wait
to
see
what
she
does
next
in
the
next
two
years
at
byram.
So
yeah.
B
B
B
You
know
I
was
thinking
about
this
ross.
I
realized
today
that
you've
reached
sort
of
an
apex
of
power,
because
we
really
refer
to
you
now.
As
one
word,
your
ross,
it's
become
like
a
a
verb
of
sorts.
It's
like
madonna,
oprah
beyonce.
When
you
say
ross,
everyone
knows
it's
called
one
word
status
power.
B
B
But
what
is
why
it's
important
right?
He
does
it
for
a
genuine
reason.
It's
not
for
himself
anyway.
I'm
going
to
miss
every
aspect
personally
of
ross
on
the
field
made
my
job
easier
as
a
coach,
and
so
ross
is
going
to
go
trade
in
section
one
to
play
in
the
nescat
conference
for
coach
nessie
hope.
I
said
his
name
right,
a
couple
of
ry
garnets
on
that
team
by
the
way
so
hope
you
light
them
up
in
practice.
B
Perhaps
you
can
enlighten
us
as
to
where
you
develop
your
sense
of
leadership,
so
I'm
asking
you
outside
of
your
coaches,
who
played
an
influential
role
in
your
life
in
developing
these
qualities.
And
what
do
you
see
in
coach
nessie
and
why
did
you
choose
hamilton?
So
it's
two
parts
who
played
an
influential
role
and
what
made
you
choose
hamilton
as
a
college.
G
So
I
would
say:
definitely
you
know.
First
off
my
parents
have
played
a
really
big
impact
on
you
know
who
I
am
as
a
person
in
general,
not
only
just
my
leadership,
but
you
know,
they've
emphasized
the
importance
of
respecting
people's
time
eye
contact
little
things
like
that,
but
that
you
know
people
may
think
you
know
it's
just
a
small
piece
to
a
person,
but
it
can
have
a
big
impact
on.
G
You
know
how
people
view
you
and
how
you're
respected
throughout
the
you
know
your
team,
for
example
the
classroom
things
like
that,
and
you
know
teachers
as
well.
I
would
say
definitely
taught
me,
like
you
know
the
idea
of
like
self-advocation
like
going
in
before
class
after
class.
If
you
have
a
question
being
confident
in
yourself
and
knowing
that
they're
there
to
help
you
and
those
are
all
I
think,
their
leadership
qualities
and
I
think
they're
you
know
integral
to
being
a
strong
teammate.
G
So
I
would
say
it
was.
It
was
the
trust
in
me
as
a
player
and
and
not
only
me
as
a
player
me
as
an
as
a
person.
I
would
say
you
know
when
I
was
talking
with
the
coaches.
They
didn't
just
ask
me
about
you
know:
where
did
you
play?
Did
you
play
for
an
academy
team
things
like
that?
They
asked
me
about
about
me
not
not
just
about
you
know
my
credentials
or
the
number
of
goals
I
scored.
They
didn't
ask
me
about
any
of
that.
G
B
We'll
be
attending
the
university
of
wisconsin
at
whitewater
sounds
familiar
to
anyone.
Who's
been
here
as
his
brother,
who
also
captured
100,
wins
at
buyer.
Mills
wrestles
there
as
well.
Isn't
that
correct?
You
want
to
grab
the
microphone
early
great
for
those
you
guys
do
not
know
justin.
This
past
season
took
home
the
section
1
championship
and
went
on
to
states
and
if
you're
not
mistaken,
you
were
in
the
126
weight
class.
Is
that
correct,
fantastic?
H
Wrestle
each
other,
we
talked
about
it,
it
seems
like
we're
both
going
to
be
in
the
133
weight
class,
so
you
can
double
enter
into
tournaments,
okay
and
if
we
both
keep
winning
we'll
find
each
other
in
either
the
finals
or
like
the
rest.
B
B
He
finished
this
past
season
at
44-3.
He
also
won
the
section.
One
championship
was
four
time
all
section
outside
of
that
he
is
a
prominent
member
of
staying
alive
in
armonk,
a
prominent
member
of
the
saint
patrick's
church.
He
volunteers
his
time
for
an
organization
that
sponsors
you
tournaments
across
the
country
for
youth
freeze
them
on
day.
Camp
gay
works
for
large
events
for
tailored
menus.
B
His
guidance
counselor
says
he
is
the
definition
of
a
student
athlete.
Justin
puts
in
a
lot
of
time
and
effort
into
academics
and
athletics,
although
he
may
appear
quiet,
he's
kind,
hard-working
individual
and
not
afraid
to
ask
for
help
when
needed.
His
teammates
know
they
can
count
on
him
now
this
program
qualified
four
athletes
for
the
ncaas
that
were
nine
and
one
this
past
year.
With
that
said,
what
do
you
see
as
your
biggest
challenge
in
wrestling
from
high
school
to
college?
H
Yeah
so
obviously,
when
you
go
to
college,
the
competition
level
goes
up
a
lot
and
it's
going
to
get
a
lot
harder,
but
I'm
going
to
adapt
to
it
and
you
got
to
keep
working
your
butt
off.
It's
going
to
get
a
lot
harder
because
they
do
a
lifting
program.
6
a.m.
Three
days
a
week
and
I'm
not
a
morning
person.
H
Well,
I
love
the
fact
that
I've
been
on
a
varsity
team
at
both
my
brothers.
My
little
brother
just
came
up
to
varsity,
so
I
was
able
to
be
on
a
team
with
my
older
brother
and
my
younger
brother,
and
winning
back
out
of
the
season
was
great
all-state.
All
that
great
memories.
Congratulations.
B
Heading
to
emory
university,
she
has
served
as
the
number
one
singles
player
on
the
varsity
team
for
three
seasons.
She's
been
named
all
league
in
all
sections
for
four
years
and
this
past
season.
She
not
only
won
the
con
edison
award,
but
she
also
won
the
section
one
singles
championship:
the
new
york
state
public
high
school
championship.
She
finished
third
place
for
singles.
It's
the
best
finish
for
any
girls
tennis
player
in
byram
history.
B
She
also
carries
a
4.16
average
she's
proficient
in
french
and
russian
she's.
The
president
of
peer
tutoring
organization,
student
representative
for
wateraid.org,
as
she
is
truly
a
well-rounded
student
athlete
heading
off
to
play
tennis
in
the
south,
should
be
playing
for
coach,
emily
bryant,
who
actually
is
the
fifth
person
in
ncaa
history
to
win
an
ncaa
title
as
a
coach
and
as
a
player,
it's
a
very
legitimate
program
as
they
won
the
national
title
last
year
and
they
are
408
and
106
in
her
tenure
as
coach
same
sort
of
question
for
uoso.
B
I
I
think
my
biggest
challenge
will
also
be
adapting
to
the
collegiate
level.
I
think
the
competition
is
going
to
be
a
lot
more
difficult,
a
lot
more
competitive,
but
I
think
I'm
going
to
have
a
lot
of
fun,
adapting
to
it
and
learning
new
culture
and
building
a
new
foundation.
As
a
new
member
of
the
team
and.
I
That
I
think
the
buyer
mills
tennis
team
has
given
me
a
great
sense
of
collaborating
with
others
and
my
team
members
and
sharing
my
strengths
with
them
and
learning
to
use
their
strengths
to
the
benefit
of
the
team.
And
I'm
excited
to
bring
that
collaboration.
That
I've
learned
to
the
collegiate
level.
B
B
Love
doing
the
research
for
the
fencing
finding
out
some
of
the
intricacies
as
to
what
goes
on
the
ohio
state.
Buckeyes
fencing
team
currently
ranked,
I
believe
for
next
year.
Third,
in
the
nation,
they
have
28
members
on
their
team.
Very
large
squad
now
nola's
been
fencing
since
age.
Seven,
following
in
the
footsteps
of
his
brother,
tristan,
who
was
here
a
few
years
ago,
signing
an
nli
for
the
new
jersey
institute
of
technology.
B
B
He
has
been
named,
u.s
fencing
all-american
at
the
high
school
level,
three
times,
first
team
u.s,
fencing
all
academic
team
four
times
he
placed
third
place
at
the
junior
olympics
at
salt
lake
city
in
utah
two
years
ago
and
was
ranked
24th
in
the
united
states
for
his
age
group
in
2022..
I'm
assuming
that
ranking
has
changed.
B
Climbing
fast,
like
that
now
one
thing
I've
I've
come
to
understand
about
noel
is
that
his
passion
has
cost
him
this
several
days
of
school,
as
fencing
has
provided
him
with
a
platform,
that's
very
different
from
others
and
yet
having
him
in
class.
Twice,
I've
come
to
understand
his
work
ethic
in
making
up
all
the
material
and
really
excelling
academically
the
training
and
the
tournament
schedule
is
a
vigorous
one,
but,
like
our
previous
fencers,
he's
certainly
figured
out
a
way
to
excel
in
the
classroom.
B
Now
know
if
you
grab
the
microphone
transitioning
from
armonk
to
columbus,
ohio,
pretty
radical
change.
What
do
you
see
as
your
biggest
challenge
in
making
this
transition
from
a
small
city
to
a
large
one?
And
perhaps
can
you
explain
to
us
one
move
for
our
non-fencing
audience
that
you're
known
for.
J
I
mean
I
I
think
anyway,
I
was
kind
of
ready
for
it
because,
like
you
know,
even
if
I
stayed
in
new
york,
my
parents
are
probably
going
to
florida
anyway.
So
like
they're
gone,
but
yeah
I
mean
definitely
leaving
the
armonk
bubble.
Is
gonna,
be
a
big
change.
I
mean
they
have
a
lot
of
like
different
people
there
and
you
know,
especially
on
the
fencing
team
like
there's
a
lot
of
like
different
fencers.
That's
that's
gonna,
be
great
to
train
with.
J
Oh,
I
mean
like
the
thing
I
do.
The
most
is
like
perry.
Six
perry
eight
so
like
six
is
just
like
kind
of
like
a
clockwise
circle,
and
then
it
is
kind
of
like
a
down
motion
and
hit.
That's
that's
what
I
like
to
do,
the
most
but,
like
you
know
like
the
cool
stuff,
is
like
foot
touches
and
like
backflicks
and
like.
B
He
will
be
fencing
for
the
d1
fighting
irish
in
south
bend
and
one
can
see
that
david
has
a
bit
of
a
separated
wing
over
there
and
it's
wearing
a
cast
to
procure
it
a
bit
and
lock
in
some
sympathy
for
the
end
of
the
school
year.
I
suppose
noah
says
that
david
went
down
in
a
fencing
accident
cried
profusely.
B
B
Currently,
the
fighting
irish
have
bragging
rights,
as
I
believe
they
just
captured
the
d1
national
fencing
title
and
are
back-to-back
champions,
but
I
guess
that
will
be
settled
next
march,
when
your
schools
face
each
other
david
finished
top
32
in
the
2021
cadet
world
championships,
2020
junior
olympics
top
16
2021,
all
academic,
fencing
team
same
for
2020
and
2019
as
well,
so
he's
a
three-time,
all-american
and
all-academic
fencing
team.
Member
now
david,
there
is
currently
57
people
on
your
roster
for
fencing.
Can
you
perhaps
explain
why
there
are
so
many
people
on
the
roster?
K
Well,
notre
dame
prides
often
having
a
very
large
roster,
because
they
want
their
team
to
be
able
to
fence
a
diverse
group
and
giving
each
member
to
fence
a
wide
variety
of
fencing.
Styles,
you
know,
would
hopefully
improve
how
they
perform
in
future
future
tournaments,
which
you
know,
seems
to
be
working
pretty
well.
K
K
Well
mentioned
the
6
8
I'll
be
watching
out
for
those,
but.
B
J
B
Benny
is
committed
to
playing
soccer.
Oh
sorry,
oh
man,
lacrosse
at
bowdoin
college.
You
know
you're
athlete
10.
You
know
when
I
was
doing
the
script,
I'm
tired!
I
got
nothing
for
you,
no
stats!
No
data,
no
numbers!
I
guess!
Maybe
that's
what
you
get
for
playing
defense
most
of
the
time,
although
this
year,
some
offense
25
goals
and
14
assess
so
you
say,
love
it.
So
here's
where
I'll
start
and
I'm
gonna
start
with
soccer.
B
B
His
shot
on
net
scares
the
birds,
because
odds
are
that's
where
it's
going
to
land
with
that
said
with
that
said,
I
would
fill
my
entire
roster
with
benny
rack
hours.
If
I
could
not
sure
what
the
man
in
the
beard
here
did.
Okay
or
perhaps
it
came
from
bonnie
who
knows,
but
ultimately,
as
far
as
being
a
teammate,
is
concerned,
being
a
leader
being
tough
and
being
a
consummate
professional,
there's
nothing
better
than
being
blessed
with
watching
benny
go
to
work
final
game.
I'm
sorry!
B
This
is
based
around
soccer,
but
yorktown
high
school
final
game
playing
against
the
second
best
striker
in
section
one,
that's
right
ross,
I
said
second,
george
popovic
was
his
name:
kid's
been
playing
soccer
since
he's
three
years
old.
I
know
this.
He
lives
across
the
street
from
me
the
day
before
the
game.
I'd
see
him
and
he
says,
what's
your
plan
of
how
how
you're
going
to
contain
me
pretty
arrogant,
so
we
needed
a
plan.
We
needed
someone,
lateral
movement
to
shadow
this
kid
across
the
field.
B
Logic
says:
don't
pick
benny,
but
reality
says
gotta
use
benny
for
the
next
100
minutes
of
soccer.
George,
I
think,
touched
the
ball
four
times.
Never
seen
anyone
get
so
frustrated
benny.
This
is
true
30
minutes
of
the
game.
He
came
over
to
our
sideline
and
said:
what
are
you
doing
to
me?
He
experienced
benny
rackhauer.
B
Now
here's
the
thing
you
don't
need
stats.
You
need
heart,
he
has
it:
12
seasons,
12
seasons,
probably
the
only
athlete
that
played
all
12
seasons
here
at
buyer,
mills,
soccer,
basketball
and
lacrosse
and
throughout
it
all
he's,
never
missed
a
game,
and
I
don't
recall
him
ever
missing
a
practice,
but
what
love
is
throughout?
All
of
it
he's
always
smiling
try
to
prevent
it
now
just
carries
himself
the
right
way
and
we
will
miss
him.
B
Undoubtedly
so
ben
as
the
finale
should
go
off
to
head
off
to
play
for
the
bowdoin
polar
bears,
who
are
undefeated
right
now,
currently
ranked
seventh
in
d3
lacrosse
want
to
know
how
did
you
choose?
Why
did
you
come
to
choose
bowdoin
as
your
college
of
choice
and
perhaps
going
to
share
your
best
lacrosse
moment
since
you've
been
here
at
byram
hills.
L
The
choice
was
pretty
easy
once
I
found
out
they
had
like
top
five
cafeteria
in
the
country.
I
was
that
essentially
sold
me
right
there,
but
no
realistically
the
coach
we
went
down
and
spoke
with
the
coach.
He
was
honestly
just
a
really
great
guy,
a
really
nice
down
to
earth
guy,
very
opening,
very
welcoming,
and
that
just
really
gave
me
a
great
feel
for
the
campus
and
yeah.
The
cafeteria
definitely
spoke
volumes
as
well
for
wait.
What
was
the
second
question.
L
Yet
yeah
give
myself
to
dave
my
favorite
lacrosse
moment
so
far.
I
have
done
some
reflecting
over
the
past
couple
weeks
on.
I
am
playing
the
sport.
How
come
I
love
it
so
much,
and
so
I
guess
my
favorite
lacrosse
moment
that
I've
been
remembering
going
back
to
these
past
couple
weeks
had
to
have
been
my
freshman
year
season
with
my
brother
and
all
of
his
friends
and
really
because,
throughout
my
whole
childhood
like
these
guys
were
really
the
main
reason
I
played
lacrosse.
I
just
wanted
to
hang
out
and
be
with
them.
L
L
L
B
Huge
family
component
to
see
today
well
done
out
of
everyone.
So
congratulations
to
you
all
for
those
who
are
still
playing.
I
wish
you
the
best
of
luck
with
the
rest
of
your
season
as
seniors
enjoy
the
rest
it's
going
to
go
by
in
a
blur
prom,
graduation,
whatever
it
might
be
so
guys
at
this
point,
we're
going
to
ask
that
the
athletes
first,
let's
ask
the
parents
to
come
down
and
be
in
front
of
their
athlete.
B
The
athletes
are
going
to
pick
up
their
pens
and
they're
going
to
to
pretend
to
sign,
and
then
we'll
tell
them
to
sign
one
more
thing:
coach,
mr
castagna,
here
coach
costagnon,
wants
to
say
a
few
words.
M
I
firmly
believe
that
the
most
important
thing
that
you
can
give
to
others
is
your
time
and
the
time
that
the
athletes
have
put
into
this
athletic
program
is
beyond
impressive.
So
thank
you.
We
wish
you
the
very
best
in
everything
that
you
do
from
from
this
day
on,
and
I
know
you
will
continue
to
make
byram
hills
proud
and
for
the
parents,
the
time
that
you
put
into
nurturing
these
fine
young
athletes,
these
student
athletes,
here
it
is
so
appreciated.
So
one
more
round
of
applause
for
the
parents.
M
And
when
I
mentioned,
when
I
mentioned
the
time,
it's
been
about
50
minutes
that
coach
allen
stood
here
at
the
podium
announcing
the
accomplishments
of
all
the
athletes
and
asking
them
some
some
fun
questions,
but
the
time
that
went
into
that
where's
coach
allen.
Thank
you
very
much
for
what
you
do
for
this
program.
M
And
how
excited
how
excited
mr
alcantara
and
