Hey guys, superintendent ryan sacks here what an exciting day, because we're here to recognize the superintendent's superhero staff member for.

The month of.

October, we're here at the beautiful huntington east and we're going to surprise miss peggy ann pratt, a special education teacher with this month's superhero cape and award. Let's see what happens.

Hello, hello, miss pratt.

Good, how are you I'm.

A

Doing well, I know this is a little overwhelming, but I am here to recognize you as this month's superintendent superhero for all of our cattle county students.

A

Congratulations.

A

So at this time sure this is the best part, because you are one of our superheroes. So if you want a class of that there, you go I'll, pull your hair back.

There we go so.

For those of you that don't know you know, miss pratt is a special education tier teacher here at huntington east, but her job is so much more than that and the things that she does to provide opportunities for our students. But the support that she gives her families and her colleagues in classrooms is is why you've been nominated by your colleagues and your peers to earn this superhero.

Award- and so we are so proud.

Of you and so thankful that you're a part of our school district, and so at this time I would like to be able to ask a couple people just to tell exactly what your role has meant to them.

Miss barnett, miss peggy and fred is probably this warms my heart. She she wants my heart. She is probably the most giving most caring kind teacher that I've ever come in contact with. um She truly cares about the students. She no matter what struggles she faces. She always comes out with a smile and her famous words, which we shared a lot last year. Is you know it's fine, everything's, fine, I'm fine.

Everything's, fine, you know so.

We kind of lived by that and um she lives through it daily. You know by that same daily, and um I commend her for that. She truly deserves this yeah.

um Mr boggs, our executive director of middle schools,.

Yeah peggy ann um she does an amazing job and, as director of middle schools, she has always worked extremely hard. She has the best interest at every single kid, whether being going to going to the student's house.

E

She never complains about anything. She does everything in a giving manner. She never does it for herself. She always does it for the kids doesn't matter the the time of the day the weekend the evenings she's always professional, and she loves these kids, even as even as we're talking right now. She loves these kids and she's taking care of them, not not it. She never wants to focus on her but peg again we're very blessed to have you here in the county.

You're an amazing you're, an amazing teacher and- and I appreciate everything you do you're just a calming influence on these kids and the professionalism is just absolutely amazing, and we appreciate you and we love you for what you do for these kids.

The our school is better because of you. um I appreciate our late night phone calls of finding where people are at, but you are our superhero, because you give everything you've got to everyone and we're always supposed to leave people better every single day, and you leave us better and thank you.

You know this derby, I say a lot of good things about mrs brad, but I'll tell you. I've been around her a long time. I don't think that young lady has ever said no to anything that we've asked her to do and like everyone else, she does above and beyond everything. I've never seen a woman, that's so dedicated, I think, she's almost worse than me.

She puts the kids first. She always has, and she always wills and, like she says, she's always she's.

Always there for you she's, very.

Supportive she's, not good she's, just an amazing.

Person- and I'm just typically have to have her here and honey denise.

That's right- and you know what's funny- is that mrs perry didn't know that we were recognizing you today with the superhero awards.

uh You know, mrs pratt for our superintendent superhero award today and she.

Well, there's nobody more deserving.

So she was, she.

She was excited.

Yes, absolutely.

Students can we give your teacher a big round of applause.

And uh congratulations again and thank you for what you do for our students and our families here in calvin county absolutely.

To all the all the other here who are supporting the work every single day as well, because the role that our staff here in capital county play all of our staff, are superheroes working.

A

You know relentlessly every single day for the betterment of our students and to ensure that our students are able to learn at their optimum levels and to make sure they have the resources necessary to be successful. Working with their families is such a fundamentally important role and I couldn't be more proud of our employees. So thank you and you're a wonderful representation.
