The Cabell Midland High School Class of 2020 will always have a unique story to tell. These outstanding graduates faced adversity head-on and found the determination needed to push themselves over the finish line. There's no doubt it was an unusual year for the Huntington High School Class of 2020. However, these seniors showed great perseverance in the face of crisis and were successful in earning their high school diplomas. Recently, the district was pleased to work with our friends at Marshall University to give these graduates the safe, in-person celebration they deserved. The included presentation, shared with the community July 29, 2020, is the first of six, planned virtual presentations about the upcoming Cabell County Schools Bond Election, scheduled for August 22, 2020. Superintendent Ryan Saxe provides an overview of the Bond, followed by a "Question and Answer" session. If you want to learn more about some of the details of the School Bond Election, this is a great place to start.

In our first-ever online awards ceremony, we celebrate four eighth-grade students who have earned top scores in the West Virginia Golden Horseshoe state history competition. Once the immediate situation passes, these students will be honored as Knights and Ladies of the Golden Horseshoe. #BeAwesomeCabell #IAmCabell

As school facilities in West Virginia remain closed as part of Governor Justice’s “stay home” order, many parents have questions or concerns about how their children will access online learning, complete assignments or engage with their teachers.

To help those parents with answers, today Cabell County Schools is launching its Connected Classroom project. The goal of this website-based project is to provide families with a central source of information regarding instruction, testing, meal delivery, and social and emotional supports.
