Highlander
helpers
was
formed
by
a
student,
a
new
student
here
at
Huntington
high
school.
His
name
is
Jeremiah
Maddux
club
was
started
approximately
about
a
week
ago
sponsored
this
club
because
Jeremiah
came
to
me
and
he
was
very
enthusiastic
about
cleaning
up
our
school.
We
have
one
of
the
nicest
high
schools
in
the
state
and,
unfortunately,
some
students
decide
to
throw
their
trash
and
stuff
on
the
ground
and
he
noticed
that
being
a
new
student
coming
in
last
week
and
he
decided
to
do
something
about
it.

I
started
to
highlight
this
Hubbard's
Club
I
started
the
Hollanders
helpers
Club,
because
it's
a
really
good
club
to
get
involved
with
I
think
it
helps
set
more
pride
in
your
school
help.
Keep
your
school
clean,
it's!
Basically,
they
really
have
a
great
school
and
a
great
school
environment
to
learn
in
to
help
keep
the
hallways
clean
and
safe.
D
During
the
meetings
we
meet
together,
I
call
roll
see
who
all
is
there
I
check
the
names
off
and
then
we
divide
out
into
groups
and
we
go
around
the
school
we
pick
up.
Trash
currently
I
have
roughly
around
14
15,
maybe
16
members.
That's
not
including
me,
though
so
yeah
we
meet
right
now,
every
Friday
but
I'm
going
to
see
about
meeting,
maybe
twice
a
week
in
the
future,
so
hi.
E
My
name
is
Jonathan
McKee
and
I'm
part
of
Highlander
helpers.
Well,
our
main
goal
of
this
is
to
just
make
the
school
a
better
place,
cleaner
and
stuff.
Actually,
this
morning
we
helped
clean
up
the
syrup
and
stuff
in
the
floor
and
it
was
just
a
mess.
Just
the
good
feeling
you
get
just
helping
the
school
out,
helping
the
janitors
and
stuff,
it's
a
really
big
help
to
them
and
there's
actually
we're
talking
about
doing
the
after-school
thing
feel
free
to
come
join.

I
Know
fetters
day
just
means
to
show
respect
to
the
past
present
and
future
veterans
of
the
United
States.
Anyway,
you
get
back
to
your
country
or
the
people
who
served
your
country
is
feels
it's
great
holiday.
Yes,
I
do
I
plan
on
joining
the
airborne
my
great-grandfather
jumped
in
Normandy
with
a
hundred
first
airborne.
My
grandfather
was
a
part
of
hundreds
and
a
third
airborne,
and
my
father
was
a
part
of
hundred.
First
simply
paying
my
respects.
I
mean
it's
social
media.
K
Name
is
Steve
Freeman
I'm,
a
system,
boys,
basketball,
coach
at
Huntington,
High
School.
Well,
the
tryouts
are
two
weeks
from
a
Monday
or
one
week
from
Monday
we
will
begin
and
then
we
will
go
through
a
preseason
practice
of
about
three
weeks
and
then
our
season
starts
the
15th
I
believe
it's
the
15th
of
December
we're
pretty
confident
we're
gonna
have
a
very
good
team.
You
never
predict,
but
you
always
go
out
with
the
goal
of
winning
a
state
championship.
That's
always
our
goal.
What
hanging
high
schools
to
win
a
state
championship?
My.
J
Name
is
Lonnie
Lucas,
the
head
basketball
coach
behind
high
school
have
been
since
the
school
opened.
I
think.
Basically
it's
in
what
my
favorite
thing
about
coaching,
I,
guess
just
being
involved
with
kids
and
it's
sort
of
keeps
you
young,
as
you
can
tell
I'm,
older
and
but
I've
been
coaching
for
no
I
think
this
will
be
my
53rd
year
and
so
I
just
I,
just
like
dealing
with
kids,
my
favorite
memory
of
coaching
there's.
So
many
of
them
that
you
know
the
positives
far
outweigh
the
negatives
but
I'd
say
probably
right
now.
J
My
favorite
memory
would
be
to
win
a
state
championship
this
past
year
and
been
17
years
since
when,
since
we'd
won
the
first
one,
but
it
never
gets
old,
every
every
night
go
out
there
to
play,
and
it's
just
great
seeing
kids
develop
them
like
ninth
graders
and
what
they
do
is
when
they
get
to
be
seniors
or
our
first
game
is
not
until
December
the
fifth
that
what
we've
been
doing.
Basically,
that
yesterday
was
the
first
day
I've
actually
even
met
the
kids,
and
we
just
ran
through
a
few
drills.
J
L
Name
is
Madison,
slash,
I
play
basketball
at
Huntington
high.
It
will
be
my
second
year
returning,
even
though
the
games
a
month
away,
we're
continuing
our
layups
working
on
our
shot
form
plays
for
whatever
team
that
we
face
during
the
season
and
just
keep
going
at
it.
Even
though
we've
lost
some
players,
just
here,
I
am
nervous.
They
put
a
lot
of.

The
difference
between
this
pep
rally
in
some
of
the
previous
ones
is
that
this
one
is
more
of
a
carnival
and
there's
gonna,
be
students
who
are
in
charge
of
clubs,
selling
goods
and
candy
for
50
cents,
and
they
will
be
advertising
and
trying
to
get
people
to
join
their
clubs
and
then
we'll
have
a
short
pep
rally
and
then
a
send-off
for
the
football
players
before
the
games.
As
the
as
our
football
team
progresses
through
the
playoffs,
we
will
continue
to
have
more
and
more
pep
rallies
to.

Student
council
is
running
the
funnel
cakes,
specifically
Anastasia
Jones
verdict
is
making
them
and
we
have.
Some
people
have
been
around
like
Isaac
southern
learned,
Cameron,
Paulo
and
Alex
Kogut
wear
a
yellow
running
is
running
puddle,
kick
said
well,
fertile
cakes
are
delicious
easy
to
make
and
a
lot
of
people
like
them.
So
it's
a
great
way
to
bring
in
money
for
the
club.
