My
name
is
coach.
Anthony
shackford
I
am
the
assistant
coach
to
the
Huntington
High
girls
soccer
team.
This
will
be
my
second
year
as
the
assistant
coach
this
year.
My
expectations
are
for
us
to
play
more
as
a
team.
Instead
of
trying
to
take
on
whole
teams
by
yourself
type
of
thing
you
know,
so
it
is
just
to
play
more
as
a
team.
My
favorite
thing
this
year
is
that
there
they
all
get
along.
E
You
know
they
all
hang
out
there,
not
just
certain
cliques
where
you
know
five
in
this
group
three
in
this
group,
everybody
gets
along
pretty
good
one
go
for
our
team
is
to
get
better
and
not
wait
for
the
season
to
start
to
work
on
their
game,
so
during
the
summer
off-season.
What
not?
Even
if
it's
just
kicking
a
ball
up
against
a
wall
and
just
working
on
your
touches
just
start
working
on
your
craft
before
the
season
starts.
My.
F
Name
is
Jocelyn
and
I'm
in
the
12th
grade,
I
typically
played
the
forward
position.
My
favorite
thing
about
being
on
the
girls
soccer
team
so
far
is
that
we
all
have
a
close
bond
with
each
other
and
it
makes
everything
more
fun
since
we
work
together.
A
goal
I
have
for
myself
is
to
improve
throughout
the
season
and
a
goal
that
I
have
for.
The
team
is
to
win
as
many
games
as
possible
this
year.
G
Varsity
goalie,
your
name
is
Bryson
Parker
and
my
position
is
left
back
if
everything
about
being
on
the
team
is
competing
in
the
games
and
hanging
out
outside
of
soccer,
with
the
guys
will
go
out
for
myself
as
a
captain
is
to
sort
of
keep
everyone
else
in
control.
Emotions,
they're,
talking
to
referees
and
gopher
I
have
for
the
team
is
to
compete
every
time
and
to
hopefully
win
a
state
championship.
G
B
H
My
opinion
of
Huntington
High
so
far
is
it's
an
amazing
place
to
be
I
love
the
students,
I
love,
how
they
treat
each
other.
Kindly
and
I
love
the
staff
I
love,
how
caring
they
are
for
the
students
and
how
they
always
want
the
best
for
them.
My
previous
job
I
was
a
curriculum
supervisor,
so
I
worked
at
the
central
office
and
I
worked
with
new
teachers
in
the
teacher
induction
program
for
all
the
schools
across
the
district
and
I
really
liked
that
too.
But
this
opportunity
came
so
here,
I
am
on
the
hill.
I
Miss
Maynard
is
a
lovely
addition
to
Huntington
High
School.
She
comes
to
us
with
over
20
years
of
experience.
She's
worked
at
the
elementary
and
middle
schools
level.
Also.
She
spent
four
years
at
our
central
office
learning
a
lot
about
curriculum
instruction,
which
are
very
important
parts
of
the
school
day
learning
and
teachers
teaching.
So
we
are
glad
to
have
her
come
and
work
with
our
teachers
and
our
students
for
the
of
the
next
year,
or
so
they
do
actually
mrs.
I
She
brought
came
to
us
with
much
experience
and
much
knowledge
about
curriculum
and
instruction
in
which
we
in
high
school
need
to
add
to
our
repertoire
of
a
person
home
and
the
administration
staff,
and
we
brought
her
along
so
that
she
can
continue
to
push
good
teaching
in
the
classroom
and
learning
from
the
children.
My.
A
Name
is
Kathy
Persinger
and
I'm,
a
teacher
here
at
paintin
high
school.
Well,
how
do
I
feel
about
Miss
Maynard
I?
Actually
love
Miss
Maynard,
because
she
is
my
older
sister
I
would
like
to
emphasize
the
word
older,
well
I'm
kind
of
used
to
having
my
sister
as
my
boss,
so
she's
been
bossing
me
for
43
years
and
I'm
kind
of
used
to
it
and
I
don't
listen
to
her.
A

N
Initially
was
something
that
kind
of
came
along
with
the
position
that
I
have
at
the
the
jobs
program.
I've
learned
a
lot
in
regards
to
what
the
needs
of
the
students
are
and
some
of
the
students
that
seem
a
little
less
fortunate
than
others.
There
are
things
that
they
need
that
at
some
point
in
time,
I
probably
didn't
really
understand
completely
that
they
needed
those
things
whatever
it
may
be,
or
that
there
was
such
a
need
for
more
things
than
what
we
have.
N
So
it
was
just
sort
of
understanding
that
there
are
students
out
here
who
have
specific
needs,
and
there
are
students
who
actually
have
more
needs
than
than
others
and
then
trying
to
fulfill
those
needs.
So
I've
learned
a
lot
about
that
in
terms
of
what
the
expectation
is
when
the
kids
come
through
the
door
and
what
they
should
and
what
they
don't
need.
I
had
to
have
a
goal
I'd
like
to
just
try
to
expand
on
some
of
the
food
items.
N
Everything
we
get
is
through
donation
and
so
working
with
people
that
I
do
and
have
contacts
with
I
try
to
look
at
the
need
of
the
students
in
terms
of
what
they
like
and
what
they
are
interested
in
and
try
to
get
an
idea
of
what
those
things
might
be
and
try
to
expand
on
those
items.
We
also
spoke
to
mr.
M
N
There's
quite
a
bit
of
students
that
come
through
throughout
the
day
and
throughout
the
week,
so
it
varies.
We're
planning
to
do
a
detergent,
drive
or
there's
been
discussion
of
that,
and
that
was
something
that
we'd
certainly
need
in
the
pantry
right
now.
I
don't
have
any
specific
events
planned
that
are
locked
down,
but
we're
always
talking
to
student
government
or
student
council.
Whatever
you
want
to
call
Wow.
