Students have a voice in every aspect in their educational experience. The Superintendent's Student Leadership Council recently met with district leaders to offer their input of every aspect of their school's operations. Members of the council are always taking input from their peers.

The superintendent student leadership council is a group of students that are representatives from each of our middle schools, our high schools, and they provide feedback to me and our capital county leadership team about what we're doing well, but also where we can have improvements for our students.

To be on the leadership council, it's it's to have a voice as a student, um it's to be represented, and it's to be heard. It's given me the opportunity to really explain what's going on within the schools and explain like how I feel and what they can't see happening behind the scenes you.

Know it's really been an adventure. I've been doing it since the eighth grade, so to grow as a high schooler and to make my voice more heard throughout the years has been so cool. I think.

It you know lets me, have a voice and also let others have a voice.

Today, it's been one of my favorite days to get back with. Everybody is, like, I said, been so exciting.

This council can take input from students here that are actually at the meeting, but they can also take input from students at their representative schools to try to come up with problems and solutions that they have, and something that I like about. The council is that it's a nice and warm environment. So it's easier to bring up ideas and problems. I'm.

Known as not just a student council representative at my school, I'm known as the student council representative for the county.

I would like, for I want everyone to reach out. This is I'm here to represent us as the student body, and so with that being said, I can't just scout around and look 24 7.. You have to come to me with feedback because I'm not noticing everything that's going on as well.

And so the feedback that they provide us is so so important and we actually make decisions based upon the feedback that we receive from our students within this group.
