Description

If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Okay,
all
right
good
evening,
everybody
Welcome
to
our
regular
board
meeting
today
is
Monday
July,
10th,
2023
and
I
would
like
to
call
this
meeting
to
order
and
Madam
clerk.
Could
you
please
call
the
roll.
B
A
Have
a
second
any
further
discussion
trustees
hearing
none
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
vote
all
those
in
favor.
Please
say:
aye
aye,.
G
A
Opposed
name
all
right
motion
carries
the
ace
habit.
Motion
carries
and
let's
see
on
our
agenda,
we
have
at
this
time
the
superintendent
report
so
Dr
French.
Thank.
H
You,
madam
chair
and
trustees,
just
a
couple
things.
Many
of
you
know
about
our
summer
school
graduation.
We
had
12
students
graduate
with
their
diplomas,
which
is
awesome,
and
we
want
to
thank
Brennan
worst
Wertz
for
being
our
summer
school
principal
I
think
he
did
a
nice
job
and
graduation
was
very
well
organized.
H
We
appreciated
that
and
I
also
put
in
here
I
just
received
an
email
from
Ivan
Cooper
regarding
the
three
students
who
attended
the
national
skillsusa
fabrication
competition
last
year
they
attended
when
they
were
18th
in
the
nation
in
that
grouping,
and
this
year
they
were
number
10,
which
was
a
huge
well.
He
thought
it
was
big
and
you
can
read
that
in
there
this
was
a
big
win
in
his
eyes
and
he
just
won.
H
He
sent
the
email
to
thank
the
board
for
supporting
these
these
young
men
as
they
attended
this
competition
and
how
important
it
is,
how
it
has
built
capacity
in
the
underclassmen
and
their
enthusiasm
about
working
hard
to
get
to
that
point.
So
thank
you.
Amazing.
A
Yes,
we
have
to
understand
that
we
have
one
of
the
best
welding
classes.
I
believe
and
I
might
be
buyers
here,
but
you
know
that
we
have
one
of
the
best
welding
classes
and
one
of
the
best
instructors
here
at
Caldwell,
High
School.
So
congratulations
to
our
welding
students
and
to
Mr
Ivan
Cooper,
who
does
amazing.
H
Right
and
so
there's
only
one
team
in
Idaho,
a
gold
team
that
is
selected
to
go
to
the
Nationals.
So
just
so,
we
need
to
understand
that
as
well.
Our
team
was
selected
from
Idaho
as
the
gold
team.
A
A
Sounds
good
all
right
next
on
the
agenda
is
the
consent
agenda,
and
so
the
board
may
take
action
to
approve
Denim
and
modifier
post-production
on
any
of
the
items
listed
below
we,
you
will
be
asked
to
prove
all
the
following
items
by
a
single
vote.
Unless
one
of
our
members,
one
of
the
board
members
asked
that
an
item
be
removed
from
the
consent
agenda
to
consider
later.
So.
At
this
time,
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
motion
to
approve
all
of
the
the
the
items
on
the
consent
agenda.
A
G
A
D
I
Trustees
at
the
high
school
we've
completed
the
the
new
curtain
and
the
the
hoists
for
the
stage
the
front
entry
vestibule
has
been
approved
by
the
city
and
we'll
be
not
the
bid
within
the
next
couple
weeks.
I
I
The
music
and
choir
room.
We've
spoke
with
the
structural
engineer
in
the
trust
company
and
they
will
be
designing
a
platform
to
to
spread
the
weight
across
the
joist
and
install
the
the
units
and,
depending
on
the
weight
of
the
units,
how
big
the
platform
will
have
to
be
to
support
those
units
at
Lincoln,
Elementary
we've
completed
the
the
main
roof
we'll
be
working
on
the
front
entry
soffit.
I
Once
we
get
the
materials
in
and
that'll
be
the
last
stage
on
on
the
roof
there
Indian
Creek
we've
replaced
the
the
board
on
the
heater
that
was
faulty
and
we've
added
a
thermostat
for
the
the
cold
air
louvers.
So
that
should
be
up
and
running
by
the
end
of
the
week.
I
In
Van,
Buren,
roof
lands
went
to
the
city
and
were
approved
and
they
started
last
week's
staging
the
the
roof
materials
for
for
Van
Buren,
so
that
project's
underway
and
on
schedule,
Jefferson
Middle
that
front
entry
Festival
also
has
been
approved
by
the
city
and
we'll
be
putting
that
out
to
bid
within
the
next
couple
weeks,
three
weeks
but
I'm
hoping
to
get
some
back
within
two
weeks.
I
So
we
can
get
the
schedule
up,
speed
the
gym
bathrooms
they're
in
progress
right
now,
they've
repaired
the
drain
patch,
the
concrete
so
we'll
be
redoing
the
floors
and
doing
some
painting
and
the
sinks
in
that
in
that
bathroom
by
the
gym.
Washington
also
has
been
approved
for
the
roof
and
it
started
last
week
as
well
staging
getting
everything
ready.
So
the
guys
are
currently
working
on
that.
So
everything
seems
to
be
good
on
schedule.
I
If
we
can
push
those
bids
up
and
get
those
bids
back
from
the
contractors
and
we'll
get
caught
back
up.
But
the
vestibules
are
the
only
ones
that
currently
that
are
just
slightly
behind,
but
I'm
hoping
we
can
get
those
back
out.
So.
D
E
D
F
Job,
yes,
I
wonder
if
we
might
be
able
to
get
a
particular
copy
of
this,
so
that
we
can
talk
on
on
board
docs
just
for
the
public
to
see
a
thing,
I
think
it's
really
nice
for
the
public
to
be
able
to
review
this
at
their
Leisure.
You
know
week
or
two
or
three
or
you
know
from
now
to
be
able
to
see
if
they
missed
the
meeting
like
oh
okay.
This
is
what
our
tax
dollars
are
being
go.
A
H
Madam,
chair,
I
I,
you
know
there
are
many.
There
are
folks
on
vacation,
so
you
usually
Christy
sends
that
to
Keeley
okay
and
then
it
is
posted
on
board
Ducks.
What
we
can
have
is
ask
Bernie
to
send
that
to
Cheryl
and
we'll
get
it
posted
on
board.
Docs.
Okay,.
F
A
Exactly
thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
So
much
all
right.
Okay
and
next
on
the
agenda.
We
have
the
cfbo
financial
update.
Those
numbers
are
on
post,
it
posted
on
the
board,
docs
and
every
time,
every
regular
Meeting.
Those
numbers
are
posted
on
board
docs
when
there
is
when
they
do
have
meetings,
because
I
know
they
take
some
time
off
in
the
summertime
but
anyways,
and
then
you
can
always
check
out
the
cfeo.org
on
online.
A
If
you
want
to
see
those
numbers
for
for
the
organization
and
just
to
remind
everybody,
it
is
a
Caldwell
Foundation
of
Education
opportunities
for
the
kids
in
Caldwell.
They
help
they
help
continue
the
educational
opportunities
for
our
students
and
they're,
a
great
support
for
the
for
the
students
of
the
Caldwell
School
District,
because
it
is
only
for
couple
School,
District
students,
yes,
Madam.
H
Chair
and
trustees
so
that
you're
aware
Madam,
chair
and
I
attended
the
Kiwanis
meeting
last
this
last
week
to
celebrate
two
of
our
students
who
are
receiving
scholarships
from
the
Kiwanis
Kiwanis.
H
While
we
were
there,
we
saw
a
member
of
the
CFO
John
Dean,
who
is
the
business
manager
and
he
shared
with
us
that
CFO
will
be
awarding
approximately
seventy
thousand
dollars
in
scholarships
to
Caldwell
School
District,
our
high
school
Canyon,
Springs
High
School
students,
so
we'll
reach
out
to
Mr,
gigray
and
or
Mrs
O'bannon,
and
see
if
we
can
invite
them
to
come
share
some
more
information
about
the
scholarships
that
were
awarded.
A
Okay,
yes,
that
would
be
great
I.
Look
forward
to
that
and
next
on
the
agenda
is
the
Caldwell
School
District
calendar
an
important
date.
I
was
looking
at
that
earlier
and
I
thought
wow.
The
next
important
date
for
next
month
is
August
15th
the
first
day
of
school
already,
but
anyway,
so
get
ready,
get
your
supplies
bought
and
all
that
good
stuff
and
teachers
get
ready.
A
F
F
A
D
A
All
right,
and
so
just
so
on,
let's
see
for
our
Patron
input,
the
rules
and
protocols
for
public
input,
we'll
call
the
names
in
order
appearing
on
the
participation
form
and
then
we'll
choose.
Let's
see
you
coming
forward
when
we
call
you
come
forward
to
the
microphone
to
present
state
your
name
and
address
for
the
record
at
just
the
city
that
you
live
in
and
then
you
will
have
the
floor
for
a
maximum
of
three
minutes,
the
vice
well
and
in
the
sense
yeah.
A
A
If
you
want
to
do
timer,
we
can
do
hand
signals
there,
let's
see,
and
then
please
do
not
exceed
your
time
limit.
No
applause
or
cat
calling
during
or
after
presentation
please
face
and
address
the
board,
not
the
audience,
be
respectful
and
do
not
personally
attack
or
dress
board
members,
District
administrators
or
District
staff,
or
anybody
in
the
audience.
If
you
would
like
to
give
the
board
more
information
and
the
time
permits,
please
reduce
your
concerns
to
written
form
and
send
them
to
the
board
Clerk.
A
So
any
written
comments
must
include
your
name
address
and
telephone
number.
If
anyone
chooses
not
to
follow
this
protocol,
you'll
be
given
a
warning,
then
if
it
continues
in
public
input
and
recess
the
the
meeting.
So
at
this
time
we
have
our
first
Patron
input
that
signed
up
is
Lucas.
Kaylor
people
like
to
come
up.
K
I
would
like
to
address
several
issues
with
the
proposed
revisions
to
several
school
policies,
as
noted
on
tonight's
agenda
and
for
the
sake
of
time,
I
will
focus
on
just
two
policy:
3530
Suicide
Prevention
and
policy.
3270
acceptable
use
of
electronic
Networks,
first
and
foremost,
while
I
understand
the
need
to
produce
written
policy
that
has
proper
grammar
and
spelling.
My
question
would
be
one:
why
weren't
these
mistakes
caught
by
a
proofreader
when
they
were
written
and
submitted
for
final
approval
and
two?
K
Why
are
we
spending
time
money
and
resources
to
change
certain
verbiage
in
the
policies
that,
in
my
opinion,
does
not
need
to
be
changed?
For
example,
in
both
policies,
I
have
cited
the
his
and
her
pronouns
are
being
replaced
with
the
plural
pronoun
there
and
the
pronouns
he
or
she
are
being
replaced
with
they
at
the
core
of
using
correct
grammar.
These
proposed
changes
of
pronouns
are
neither
grammatically
incorrect
as
it
pertains
to
the
subject
of
the
policy,
nor
is
it
inherently
more
immoral.
K
However,
what
it
does
give
you
the
appearance
of
is
the
attempted
Erasure
of
the
Sexes
to
remove
the
distinction
of
male
and
female,
which,
as
we
are
all
aware,
are
the
only
two
sex
options
humans
are
created
with.
Why
is
this
important?
Well,
there
has
been
a
noted
agenda
to
remove
gender
differences
between
men
and
women
in
Western
Society
over
the
past
decade,
and
the
fact
that
many
states
to
include
Idaho
have
found
it
necessary
to
pass
legislation
to
keep
boys
out
of
girls
Sports
and
out
of
girls.
K
Restrooms
are
just
too
noteworthy
and
documented
examples
of
where
there
has
been
a
push
by
extremely
liberal
entities
to
blur
or
erase
the
gender
differences
between
males
and
females.
Furthermore,
substitute
substituting
a
plural
pronoun
in
place
of
a
singular
pronoun
only
compounds
the
problem,
instead
of
simplifying
it.
If
the
idea
of
these
policy
revisions
was
to
simplify
the
text
of
the
policy,
one
could
write
quote
the
student
and
the
student's
parents,
instead
of
quote
him
or
her
and
his
or
her
parents,
for
example.
K
Speech
is
one
of
the
core
elements
that
makes
humans
civilized
and
differentiates
us
from
other
mammal
species.
On
our
planet,
it
is
grammatically
incorrect
and
faulty
speech
practice
to
use
plural
pronouns,
like
they
them
and
there,
when
addressing
a
singular
person
or
a
situation
relating
to
a
singular
person,
say
nothing
of
the
confusing
aspect
of
this
faulty
speech,
especially
to
someone
whose
primary
language
is
not
English
or
to
a
child.
Who
is
learning
how
to
speak,
read
and
write.
K
Additionally,
I
would
like
to
address
the
fiscal
responsibility
of
these
policy
revisions.
For
example,
for
example,
policy
3530
was
last
revised
on
March
14
2022.
It
then
begs
the
question
of
prudent
time
management
and
wise
money
expenditure
when
we
are
now
scarcely
a
year
later,
taking
an
issue
with
grammar
and
pronouns
prompting
yet
another
revision
time
and
money
are
not
an
endless
supply.
So
why
are
we
focusing
on
changing
policy
text
that
doesn't
warrant
change
or
should
have
been
addressed
during
the
previous
policy
revisions?
Thank.
A
All
right
and
next
on
patreon
input
is
Nicole
Trickle.
A
So
hard
with
your
kids,
oh
okay,
so
yeah
is
it
Melissa,
Martinez,
okay,.
D
L
L
Go
Melissa
Martinez
in
Caldwell,
Idaho
I'm
here
to
address
cameras
when
it
comes
to
my
son,
was
in
the
Pre-K
class
at
Lincoln.
L
I,
just
I
follow
up
with
the
other
parents,
and
just
it's
not
it's
not
just
for
pre-k,
but
I
know
the
school
district
cannot
do
everybody,
but
it's
not
only
to
protect
vulnerable
kids
for
like
the
Pre-K
instead
classes,
but
I
mean
it's
to
protect
teachers
and
Caldwell
school
districts,
because
I
mean
a
lot
of
things
are
going
on.
It's
not
just
locally.
A
lot
of
things
are
going
along
going
on
Nationwide.
L
When
it
comes
to
teachers,
you
know
they're,
just
they're
not
being
who
they
should
be
I
mean
I
was
in
tears
when
I
put
my
son
in
her
class
in
December
I
didn't
want
to.
But
you
know
what
I
was
I
had
to
trust
the
teacher
and
backfire,
and
the
other
thing
I
just
wanted
to
mention
was
I,
wasn't
even
contacted
when
this
happened
and
he
was
in
her
am
class.
Nobody
contacted
me
and
I
think
that
is
like
wrong
Beyond.
L
We
saw
it
on
the
news
and
even
if
they
say
nothing
happened,
that
the
backlash
that
I
got
at
home
from
him,
seeing
what
was
in
the
class
has
just
been
horrible.
He
started
hitting
I
mean
things
he
never
did
before.
It's
just
been
really
difficult,
so
I
mean
no
yeah,
I
guess
apparently,
I
wasn't
on
the
the
newsletter
information.
So
I
didn't
I
didn't
get
nothing
we
actually
he
was
still
going
to
class
when
everything
took
place
and
nobody
reached
out
to
me.
So
it's
just
really
hard.
L
A
Okay,
thank
you.
Miss
Martinez,
we'll
have
Dr,
French
and
probably
Jody
will
get
a
hold
of
you.
Yes,.
L
D
A
J
A
Okay
and
next
we
have
Nicole
treco.
C
I'm
so
cute
Nicole
Draco,
Caldwell,
Madam,
chair
trustees,
Dr
French
first.
M
Off
I
would
like
to
say
that
I
initially
planned
on
speaking
about
the
things
that
Lucas
Taylor
spoke
about,
with
the
changing
of
all
the
gender
pronouns
to
the
they
their
pronouns.
So
I
agree
with
everything
he
said
he
worded
it
much
better
than
I
would
have
so
I'm
thankful
that
he
talked
about
that
as
well.
M
The
other
things
I
would
like
to
talk
about
are
on
your
second
and
final
reading
policies
today,
I'm
concerned
that
the
new
policy
3550,
which
is
the
release
of
students
during
school
hours,
has
no
mention
of
parents
at
all,
giving
full
authority
to
the
principal
to
decide
who
a
child
can
lead
with
the
policy.
It's
replacing
437
at
least
directs-
and
this
is
a
quote
from
the
old
policy-
be
very
sure
that
it
is
the
wish
of
the
legal
parent
or
Guardian
to
have
the
child
released
during
school
hours.
M
Never
release
a
child
to
anyone
until
the
parent
has
been
contacted
and
I
cannot
fathom
why
the
language
was
removed
to
include
parents
in
this
policy
and
I'm
hopeful.
That
prints
will
be
included
in
the
procedures.
Oh
I
just
started
that
Dr
French
is
directed
to
establish
I.
Ask
that
you
send
this
policy
back
to
committee
and
hold
until
parents
are
included
and
that
the
procedures
established
are
also
done.
M
Otherwise,
when
school
starts
according
to
the
wording
in
this
policy,
parents
will
both
not
be
permitted
to
remove
their
own
children
without
a
principal's
permission,
or
they
will
not
have
to
be
contacted
if
someone
else
tries
to
remove
their
children.
I
would
also
like
to
speak
toward
policy
5290,
which
was
political
activity
for
staff.
M
Yes
for
this,
so
I
am
just
wanting
to
make
sure
that
teachers
will
be
notified
of
that
updated
of
the
policy
so
that,
if
they
send
home
about
it
that
it's
just
this
is
coming
up.
If
you
want
to
vote,
not
telling
the
kids
to
tell
the
parents
how
to
vote
since
it
seems
like
that
would
go
against
that
policy
and
I
would
also
like
to
discuss
policy
3270,
which
is
dealing
with
electronics.
M
I
was
wondering
why
section
7,
which
is
the
student
use
of
social
media,
was
removed
where
this
is
a
big
part
of
student
life
I
believe
it
needs
to
be
addressed
specifically.
In
my
opinion,
all
social
media
sites
should
be
blocked
on
student
computers
as
they're
not
necessary
to
academics,
and
there
was
a
lot
of
things
what
the
computers
do
block
like.
M
You
know,
bullying
and
nudity
and
weapons,
and
you
know
all
these
things
were
listed,
but
nowhere
in
all
of
those
does
it
say
social
media
sites
and
with
how
much
cyber
bullying
and
other
things
like
our
Tick
Tock
challenges
that
did
damage
to
our
schools
and
things
are
happening
through
those
sites.
I'm
hoping
that
that
could
be
added
somewhere
in
there
or
like
I,
said
I'm,
not
sure
why
that
was
removed,
that
they
could
still
be
on
social
media
sites
on
the
school
computers.
Thank
you
so
much.
Thank.
A
A
Okay
so,
let's
see
on
the
next
item
on
our
regular
agenda
is
just
our
future
agenda
items
and
we
want
to
make
sure
that
if
there's
any
ideas
of
future
agenda
items,
trustees
feel
free
to
approach.
Dr,
French
and
I
on
any
items
that
you'd
like
to
see
on
the
agenda.
So
did
I
miss.
A
Oh
okay,
okay,
all
right!
Yes,
so
yeah!
Thank
you!
Trustee
Robertson
for
her
catching
that
so
we
have
on
our
regular
agenda
item
is
the
isba
resolution
on
school
age
and
accountability
requirements?
A
So
we
were
approached
by
isba
about
this
resolution.
I,
don't
know
if
you
remember
trustees
at
our
business
convention
meeting
with
a
couple
years
ago.
I
believe
it
was
is
that
we
had
this
isba
that
was
presented
to
the
to
our
school
board,
Biz
at
other
school
or
business
meeting,
and
they
it
passed
and,
let's
see,
I
have
it
on
here.
A
A's
out
of
a
total
of
seven
thousand
six
hundred
so
and
so
what
we
didn't,
it
was
not
presented
on
the
legislative
Florida
because
we
didn't
have
at
the
time
a
representative
who
would
carry
it
on
the
floor.
So
what
we
do
have
before
us
is
that
we
can
vote
to
keep
it
to
renew
it.
The
ISB
resolution
I've
spoken
to
a
couple
of
you,
know
to
some
teachers,
some
different
board
members
at
different
school
districts,
and
you
know
they.
A
They
I
feel
that
we
would
have
the
support
to
make
sure
that
it
passes
again.
So
that's
what
we
wanted
to
discuss
tonight,
if
how
you
feel
about
it,
if
we
should
send
it
back
into
isba
so
that
we
can
have
it
I,
don't
know
on
this
one
Dr
French:
do
they
would
it
be?
Would
it
just
be
to
renew
it
or
would
it
do.
D
J
F
Chairman
Madam
chair,
I,
wonder
if
we
could
read
it
out
loud:
it's
not
too
long.
Our
agenda's
not
super
long
tonight,
okay,
I'm
happy
to
read
it
I
think
it's
an
interesting
topic.
Yeah
go
ahead,
yeah
all
right,
so
this
is
again
ISB
resolution
that
we,
this
is
recommended
by
our
board
and
other
boards
that
stay.
F
Take
a
look
at
this
consideration
and
it's
dealing
with
aligning
Idaho
schools,
age
and
public
school
accountability,
requirements
and
here's
the
statement,
whereas
Idaho's
High,
School,
graduation
requirements
include
student
participation
in
a
college
entrance
exam
and
the
state
provides
Insurance
exams
free
of
charge
in
the
spring
of
the
students
11th
grade
or
junior
year,
when
most
students
are
older
than
16
and
whereas
Idaho's
formula
for
determining
graduation
rates
for
high
school
accountability
is
based
on
four-year
cohorts,
including
two
years
when
most
public
school
students
are
older
than
16
and
whereas
the
Idaho
high
schools
Idaho
high
schools
are
accountable
for
reaching
at
least
a
90
percent
graduation
goal
and
whereas
Idaho's
high
schools
are
accountable
for
College
and
Career
Readiness,
as
measured
by
student
participation
in
advanced
opportunities
courses,
including
advanced
placement,
dual
credit,
International
baccalaureate
and
Career
Technical
courses
completed
by
the
12th
grade
or
senior
year,
when
most
students
are
17
years
or
older,
and
whereas
Idaho's
high
schools
are
accountable
for
College
and
Career
Readiness,
as
measured
by
a
student
acquired
industry,
recognized
professional
or
technical
certifications
which
are
completed
in
the
12th
grade
or
senior
year.
F
When
most
students
are
17
years
are
older
and
whereas
Idaho
is
not
amended,
its
school
age
requirements
to
align
with
its
expectations
of
student
achievement
in
public
education
now,
therefore
be
it
resolved
without
the
Idaho
school
boards.
Association
shall
draft
legislation
to
align
Idaho
code,
section
33,
202
Idaho
code
with
the
state's
accountability
requirements
for
public
schools
by
changing
the
required
school
age
from
16
to
18,
unless
the
pupil
has
graduated
early
or
has
received
their
GED
and
then.
F
Finally,
the
statement
of
purpose,
Idaho's
accountability,
measures
for
high
schools
rely
upon
students,
completing
academic
requirements,
participating
in
college
level
work
and
mastering
industry
level
skills
during
a
four-year
window.
Two
of
those
four
years
occur
in
the
final
excuse
me,
two
years
of
high
school,
when
most
students
are
older
than
16.
section.
33
202
Idaho
code
should
be
amended
to
support
state
accountability,
expectations
for
schools
by
changing
the
required
school
age
from
16
to
18.
Unless
the
pupil
has
graduated
early
or
has
received
their
GED
and
there's
some
supporting
information
and
the
ISB
recommendation.
F
A
All
right,
so
how
do
you
feel
Vice
chairman
Manning.
F
You
know
I
believe
in
in
choice
and
things
like
that,
and
there
may
be
some
students
that
decide
to
drop
out
of
16.
Unfortunately,
as
a
teacher
myself,
some
of
my
students
figure
out
that
once
they
hit
16,
they
can
decide
if
they
would
like
to
drop
out
of
school
and
legally
they
can.
Unfortunately,
the
school
is
still
held
accountable
for
the
graduation
rates
or
their.
You
know
the
non-graduation
rate
and
and
they're
also
missing
out
on
a
lot
of
potential
opportunities
as
as
outlined
in
this
particular
resolution.
E
You
know
I
think
trusting
Manning
hit
it
on
the
head,
with
with
the
word
opportunities,
I
think
our
students
are
missing
a
lot
of
opportunities,
not
not
graduating
at
18
or
or
missing
those
two
two
other
years,
I
think
it's
a
good
good
revision
or
a
good.
It's
a
good
policy
policy
right
resolution
resolution.
That's
a
good
resolution
to
have
I
think
a
lot
of
kids
grow
up
mentally.
A
Thank
you,
trustee
Robertson.
N
I'm
in
an
agreement
with
everybody
else's
statements,
and
for
me
it's
like
that,
it's
like
putting
guard
rails
up
for
the
students
who
might
go
well,
I'm,
16
and
I
can
or
could
or
should
or
would-
and
it's
like
no
stick
it
out.
Stick
it
out
until
18.
That's
the
the
guard
rails
that
this
is
helping
put
into
the
the
school
that
says
you
know
you
unless
you
graduate
early
because
you've
done
a
lot
of
AP
classes
or
GED
or
something
like
that.
A
Okay,
yeah
and
I'm
in
a
green
agreement
too,
because
it's
you
know
it
is.
We
have
certain
requirements
that
we
have
to
meet
with
the
state,
and
you
know
the
it
would
help
to
have
at
least
the
kids
in
school
so
that
we
could
help
them
Reach.
Those
like
trustee
godina,
says
those
opportunities
that
are
missed
because
they
decided
they
don't
want
to
go
to
school
and
it's
16
is
as
far
as
they're
going
to
go
and
I.
A
Also
like
the
fact
that
there
it
isn't
like
we're
trying
to
have
government
overreach
at
all,
because
if
they
want,
we
have
you
know
throughout
the
years
we've
had
letters
that
they've
asked
us
to
approve
kids
that
are
graduating
early
and
we're
like
yeah,
because
a
lot
of
times
those
kids
have
plans
whatever
it
may
be,
but
you
know
they
they're
they're
on
track
and
also
you
know,
it
would
help
us
like
get
them
through
the
GD
process
and
make
sure
that
they
do
complete
their
GED,
because
that
also
affects
our
our
numbers
as
well.
A
So,
okay
I
will
we'll
go
ahead
and
and
Dr
French.
If
we
could
reach
out
to
isba
and
say
that
we'd
like
to
renew
it
and
go
forth
with
that
process,
and
then
my
job
will
be
to
get
a
hold
of
the
legislator
C,
which
legislator
would
carry
it
and
see
if
we
can
get
somebody
to
carry
it
and
present
it
and.
E
Also,
that
was
a
matter
that
was
a
huge
number
of
the
A's
of
66
78.
That's
that's
a
really
big
number
of
yeah
other
voting
parties,
I.
A
Also
wanted
to
mention
that
when
it,
it
was
a
little
personal
to
me
because
I
remember,
growing
up
and
and
times
have
changed,
I
understand
that.
But
I
know
that
it
was
something
that
you
know
back
in
the
day
40
years
ago
yeah.
It
was
I
think
if
my
dad,
my
dad
assumed
that
I
had
to
be
in
school
until
I
graduated
had
he
known
that
he
could
pull
me
out
at
16.
A
He
would
have
so
I
could
work
in
the
fields
and
you
know
and
I
and
so
I'm
glad
that
he
didn't
know
better,
and
so
you
know,
and
that's
yeah
and
and
that's
guardrail,
like
trustee
Robertson,
said
that
you
know
it's
important
that
we
do
know.
You
know
what,
if
there
are
kids
out
there
that
do
want
to
achieve
and
do
want
to
keep
going
that
day
that
they
are
able
to.
A
H
Oh
Madam,
chairman
Paul,
the
board
member
from
Middleton,
who
spoke
in
favor
of
this,
and
she
said
either.
We
we
really
as
a
state
need
to
change
this
stage
or
we
need
to
make
it
a
requirement
that
you
cannot
drop
out.
Your
parents
need
to
unenroll
you
and
homeschool
you
so
that
it
is
the
responsibility
of
the
parents
for
that
child.
That's
under
18
and
not
the
responsibility
of
the
school
for
the
child.
Who's
made
a
decision
to
leave
at
16
or
17.
B
H
F
Got
a
question
for
Dr
French.
So
is
it
your
understanding,
Dr
French,
that
if
a
kid,
if,
if
parents
remove
a
kid
from
school
as
a
home
school
them,
does
that
not
count
against
the
the
school?
The
school
district's
graduation
rates.
H
H
D
A
Right,
thank
you.
So
at
this
time,
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
motion
to
approve
to
send
the
ISB
resolution
on
school
age
and
accountability.
Requirements
forward.
F
A
F
Madam,
chair
I,
move
that
we
re-adopt
the
resolution
number
three
aligning
Idaho
school
age
and
public
school
accountability
requirements.
Thank.
F
D
A
D
D
H
Good,
that's
great
so
Madam
chair.
First,
we
have
an
Errata
revision
policy
3530.
That
is
this.
We
felt
like
it
was
an
Errata
revision
as
per
board.
H
Practice
and
would
ask
you
to
consider
that
the
revision,
while
the
district
has
a
responsibility
to
notify
a
student's
parent
Guardian
regarding
known
changes,
the
first
paragraph,
Was,
updated
and
language
was
updated.
Just.
H
Do
you
want
me
to
read
it
yeah?
Can
you
see
it?
Are
you
able
to
see
the
policy
Jeff's
opening
it
for
you?
Okay?
H
So
the
policy
is
while
the
district
has
a
responsibility
to
notify
a
student's
parent
Guardian
regarding
known
changes
in
the
student's,
mental,
physical
or
emotional
health
or
well-being.
Neither
a
school
district
nor
a
teacher
has
a
duty
to
warn
of
the
Suicidal
Tendencies
of
a
student,
absent
the
teachers
or
School
District's
knowledge
of
direct
evidence
of
such
Suicidal
Tendencies.
H
A
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
motion
and
actually
I'm
on
on
the
erratic
revisions
for
policy
3530.
A
J
E
That
got
taken
out
like
is
there
any
reason
for
that,
or
do
you.
H
Know
well,
I
would
I
I'm
Madam,
chair
and
trustees
I,
just
so
I've
been
working
on
board
policy
for
over
10
years
and
I've
never
had
someone
complain
about
that.
When
we
cleaned
up
language
or
made
it,
you
know
their
family,
the
it
could
be
multiple
kids,
it
could
be
yeah.
It
could
be.
One
student
I
appreciate
the
the
grammar
lesson
that
we
have
been
making
changes
like
this
for
a
long
time
to
clean
that
up,
and
it
was
not.
The
intent
was
not
to
gender
neutrify
or
neutralize
this
policy.
H
It
was
something
that
we've
been
doing
for
a
long
time.
We
can
leave
it
as
his
or
her
that
is
I
have
no
problems
with
that,
but
it
was
it
was.
The
intent
was
not
to
offend
people
or
to
neutralize
the
policy.
It
was
it's
something
we've
been
doing
for
more
than
a
decade
and
I.
Think
Mrs
Sanderson
could
probably
speak
to
that
as
well
through
her
time
as
a
on
school
board
and
working
as
a
clerk.
B
F
Madam
chair
so
as
I'm
as
I'm
looking
at
this
as
well
I
think
I
would
agree
with
Miss
sanderson's
analysis
that
you
know
this
is
a
plural
possessive
pronoun.
F
You
know
what,
if
you
have
two
boys
and
a
girl
in
your
family,
his
or
her
doesn't
necessarily
work
right
because
you
have
more
than
two
kids
and-
and
this
is
not
in
any
way
meant
to
you-
know
gender
nullify
anybody,
but
just
to
bring
some
continuity
to
the
language.
So
that's,
in
my
opinion,.
F
A
Thank
you
all
right,
so
we
have
a
motion
in
a
second
any
further
discussion:
okay,
Harry
none
I
like
to
ask
for
vote
all
those
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
aye,
any
opposed
Nate
all
right
motion
passes.
Thank
you.
H
And
Madam,
chair
and
trustees,
so
there
are
policies
for
first
reading.
H
They
are
frustrating
and
if
you're
uncomfortable
well,
they
were
posted.
They
have
been
posted,
I'm.
Sorry
I
was
thinking
they
were
on
the
website
and
on
they
posted
the
school
out
in
the
school
district.
So
the
first
policy
under
consideration
is
2240
class
size.
It's
a
new
policy
due
to
the
changes
in
the
Idaho,
open,
enrollment
law,
there's
policy
2425
parental
rights.
H
It's
a
revision
to
the
current
policy
due
to
changes
in
Idaho
parental
rights
law,
24
25,
the
procedures
for
that
and
the
form
for
notifications
of
changes
in
a
student's
health
and
well-being
policy,
3010,
open
enrollment.
This
is
a
revision
due
to
the
Idaho
open,
enrollment
law,
the
new
one,
then
the
policy
that
goes
along
with
that
30
30
10
p.
We
also
have
the
forms
3010
F1
form
for
open
enrollment.
H
We
just
an
updating
that
we
added
also
the
anaphylaxic
fact
sheet
and
protocol
that's
new
and
then
the
opioid
overdose
fact
sheet.
That's
also
new
I,
just
so
that
parents
are
people
are
aware
of
what
we
can
can
or
will
or
can't
do
right.
So
epinephrine
I
just
said
that
correctly
can
be
used.
H
Parents
are
aware
and
that
we
have
parent
permission
and
input
on
those
things
and
policy
5740.
This
was
this
is
just
an
update
on
the
reduction
in
force
procedure.
So
it's
just
a
revision
to
the
current
policy,
but
there's
enough
of
a
change
that
it
is
on
for
first
reading
to
meet
the
board
the
boards,
our
expectations
for
what
a
a
review-
it's
just
not
in
a
rather
revision.
A
Okay,
I
had
a
quick
question
on:
let's
see
the
policy
5740p,
that
reduction
in
force
and
that's
the
procedures
right
because
we
have
in
our
last
reading.
We
have
5740
right.
J
A
For
the
first
reading,
okay,
all
right
so
trustees
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
motion
to
approve
the
first
reading
of
those
policies.
E
E
A
Okay,
I
have
a
motion
and
a
second
any
further
discussion.
Trustees.
A
H
And
Madam
chair
and
trustees
District
of
mind,
this
is
a
bullpen.
So
if
there's
input
or
public
input
or
they've,
please
email
me
or
let
me
know
so
that
we
can
get
those
in
before
next
month
and
we
meet
in
August.
Okay,
okay
sounds
good.
Thank
you
yep.
Then
we
have
the
second
and
final
reading
policy,
3030,
part-time
attendance,
dual
enrollment
policy,
3270
and
5270..
So
just
a
reminder,
that's
for
both
students
and
staff
members.
That's
why
his
policy
is
listed.
That
way.
H
If
you
had
wondered,
if
you
were
wondering
providing
provided
access
to
electronic
Information,
Services
and
networks
and
also
the
the
procedure
the
acceptable
use,
we
have
policy
3550
release
of
students
during
school
hours,
5290
political
activity,
staff
participation,
which
would
replace
413
and
whistleblowing
53.95,
replacing
428,
then
again
so
policy
5740
reduction
in
force
and
the
form
that
goes
with
in
reduction
in
fourth,
the
in
force,
the
involuntary
transfer
of
teacher,
the
evaluation
form
which
would
replace
5220
F2.
A
Okay,
so
trustees
I
would
like
ask
for
a
motion
for
second
and
final
reading
on
the
the
aforementioned
policies.
E
Madam,
chair
3550,
as
discussed
before
by
Patron
input,
I,
think
it's
important
that
that
parents
know
exactly
where
their
kids
are
at
at
all
times
and
I.
Think
I
think
that
that's
a
great
point
that
that
the
parents
need
to
know
about
who
their
child,
if
they're
being
released,
they
should
be
the
parents
need
to
know
where
they're
going,
what
they're
doing
and
why
they're
being
taken
out
of
school.
A
My
two
cents,
yeah
I,
see
on
section
1.2
that
it
states
before
a
student
is
removed
or
excused
the
person
seeking
to
remove
the
student
must
present
to
the
satisfaction
of
the
principal
evidence
of
his
or
her
proper
authority
to
remove
the
student,
so
I
would
think
that
would
cover
the
part
of
a
parent
I'm
wondering
if,
like
in
in
correct
me,
if
I'm
wrong,
Dr
French.
This
is
more
of
a
generalized
statement
because
sometimes
not
all
students
are
living
with
their
parents.
You
know.
A
Sometimes
we
have
Guardians
that
are
taken
care
of
students
or
that
live
that
have
responsibility
over
this
student
and
so
I
know
me,
as
a
guardian.
I
can't
ever
take
my
my
child
out
of
school
without
making
sure
you
know
they
they
they,
even
though
you
know
they
know
who
myself?
Is
they
they're
they're
going
to
check
and
they
do
check
the
the
forms
and
say?
Okay?
A
Yes,
you
do
have
permission
to
take
this
child
out.
Yeah.
H
You'd
have
to
show
guardianship
when
then
we,
so
we
have
a
child
placed
in
foster
care
with
a
foster
parent
there's
a
process
that
they
have
to
go
through.
So
in
the
student
information
system,
that
person,
because
the
their
that
child's
parent
may
be
I
will
say,
incarcerated,
possibly
so,
there's
no
way
to
reach
that
parent.
So
we
do
have
to
have
proper
Authority
for
that
individual
to
remove
the
student
from
the
school
or
pick
them
up
after
school
or
for
a
doctor's
appointment.
H
I
I
think
that's
why
it's
it
has
to
be.
You
have
to
present
evidence
of
proper
Authority
and
parents
will
do
a
let's
say,
family
emergency.
So
you
know
in
our
information
system,
there's
an
emergency,
so
we
may
have
a
parent
who
is
working,
let's
say
out
in
Wilder,
and
they
there's
no
access
for
them.
H
Just
need
to
know
they
have
authority
to
right.
We
do
not.
Sometimes
we
do
have
an
maybe
possibly
an
older
sibling
coming
to
pick
somebody
up
and
they
cannot.
They
are
not.
We
there
there's
no
proper
Authority
given
to
have
that.
The
parent
is
not
can't
contact
us,
and
maybe
that
was
all
arranged,
but
the
school
was
not
made
aware.
So
we
won't
release.
E
You
know
Dr,
French
and
I
appreciate
those
forms
at
the
beginning
of
the
year
of
who
can
pick
up
who's
who's
authorized
to
pick
up
your
kids
and
it's
you
know
as
far
as
I'm
concerned.
It's
it's
worked
a
lot
of
years.
For
me,
I
haven't
been
able
to
pick
up
my
daughter
at
some
point
or
another.
Her
aunt
can
pick
her
up
yeah
she's
on
the
forum.
She
could
pick
her
up,
but
I
mean
that's.
That's
I
just
wanted
to
make
sure
that
was
all
included
in
there
that
okay.
A
And
I
think
the
fact
that
the
word
parent
is
not
on
this
policy
doesn't
mean
that
a
parent
cannot
pick
them
up.
You
know
correct
it,
it
it's
just
making
it
more
clear
of
who
has
authority
to
pick
up,
you
know
and,
and
the
authority
isn't
given
by
the
principal
it's
the
authorities
given
by
the
person
that
past
custody
or
is
the
parent
or
is
the
guardian
at
registration
after
you
have
shown
your
forms
of
proof
that
you
are
the
guardian,
that
you
are
who
you
say
you
are
and
yes.
F
Sometimes
even
parents
are
not
allowed
to
pick
up,
and
so
that's
in
the
student
information
system,
as
a
teacher
I
note
that,
because
it
happens
more
than
you
would
think,
you
know
where
you
have
a
parent
who
you
know,
parents
are
split,
parents
are
divorced,
one
has
total
custody
for
whatever
you
know,
legal
legal
reasons,
and
so
a
parent
may
not
have
the
legal
rights
to
pick
up
their
child
because
of
you
know,
maybe
they
they
have.
F
They
have
some
issue
that
they
have
to
work
through
the
legal
system
in
order
to
be
able
to
access
their
kids.
The
last
curveball
I
would
throw
in
here
is
just
that.
Sometimes
you
have
students
that
are
emancipated
as
well
yeah,
it's
students
that
are
their
own
parent.
Essentially,
you
have
students,
sometimes
17
18
year
old,
kids,
families
in
a
rough
situation
and
they
are
legally
emancipated,
and
so
they
are
their
own
parents.
So
I
think
this
policy
is
written
broadly
enough
to
cover
all
the
different
scenarios.
A
E
E
J
E
No,
the
it.
N
Was
electronics
the.
H
And
Madam,
chair
and
trustee,
so
there
are,
we
have
policies
in
place
for
social
media
students.
Anything
they
do
on
a
school
computer
is.
It
is
right
we
so
using
the
school
computer.
You
have
no
rights
to
privacy
on
a
school
computer
I.
Would
when
we
talk
about
social
media,
we.
Obviously
this
policy
came
into.
We
updated
it
because
the
state
of
Idaho
decreed
that
net
Tick
Tock
will
not
be
used
on
any
government
device.
H
So
that's
why
it
was
updated
to
include
that
specifically
I
would
you
know,
be
cautious
about
saying
children
cannot.
You
know
whether
we
shouldn't
be
posting
on
social
media,
I
think
we're
we
may
be
if
I'm
a
student
in
yearbook
or
journalism.
There
may
be
something
that's
being
or
they're
helping
with
the
website
for
this
the
the
school
which
they
could
be.
They
may
be
posting
to
the
site
because
it's
part
of
their
assignment
right,
so
I
think
we
have
to
be
that's
why
they
have
to
be
it's.
H
When
you
read
the
policy
and
you
read
the
social
media
policy,
they
are
guided
that
it
is.
They
are
expected
to
follow
through
with.
Maybe
it
is
that
assignment
under
the
direction
of
the
teacher,
and
there
has
to
be
instruction
and
Internet
safety
right.
We
do
filter
quite
a
it's
quite
a
filter,
but
it's
not
always
you
know
it's
not
foolproof
can
be,
but
I
I
just
would
be.
I
would
wonder
about
that.
We
do
post
a
lot
of
sports
things
on
Instagram
and
Facebook.
C
A
H
You're
gonna
have
to
download
the
app
that's
I.
Just
don't
see
that,
but
we
could
see
a
student
post
on
Facebook
on
their
school's
Facebook
page,
because
every
school
has
a
Facebook
page
that
feeds
into
the
district
Facebook
page
for
the
most
part
and
then
posts
out.
I
know
that
Jessica
has
worked
with
students
on
using
communication
in
a
positive
way.
H
E
And
using
it
properly
they're
using
it
properly.
H
H
O
Trustees
to
my
knowledge,
basically
the
way
we
have
things
set
is
people
can't
add
apps
to
the
Chromebooks.
What
they're
allowed
to
add,
as
a
student,
is
only
things
that
we
have
put
as
a
signed,
it's
assigned
applications
that
that
can
be
added
through
the
Google
Play
Store.
O
H
O
People
constantly,
as
you
know,
find
new
and
unique
ways
to
get
around
the
the
things
that
we
have
in
place
to
try
to
get
places
where
they
shouldn't
and
I
I
know
that
people
worry
about
things
like
the
online
bullying
and
whatnot
I
know
we
try
to
with
the
filters
try
to
filter
out
a
lot
of
things,
try
to
limit
the
accessibility
to
a
number
of
sites,
social
media
streaming
sites,
things
that
you
know
could
be
used
for
that
things
that
have
chat
things
like
twitch
things.
O
There's
a
number
of
things
in
there
that
we're
filtering
out
people
constantly
find
ways
around
it,
but
primarily
we
try
to
do
as
much
as
we
can
to
to
limit
that
I.
Guess
from
what
you're
saying
I
know
there
are
things
like
posting
to
the
Facebook
page,
but
primarily
I
believe
most
of
that
is
is
limited,
although
I'm,
normally
the
person
that
just
fixes
stuff
when
it's
broken.
O
O
O
If
we
give
it
to
somebody,
everybody
has
it
and
I
know
we
try
to
do
our
best
job
to
keep
things
safe
and
keep
things
you
know
where
people
actually
are
able
to
use
it
to
learn,
but
not
to
do
the
things,
but
once
again,
kids
are
kids
and
Madam.
D
H
New
phone,
so
you
know
that,
what's
being
filtered
and
what
kids,
what
what
our
students
have
access
to
on
that
Chromebook,
so
I
can't
control.
What's
on
their
cell
phone
right.
H
O
Filters,
locking
things
down
even
harder.
It's
like
with
anything
it's
constantly
changing
what
people
look
for,
how
things
are
how
how
they're
catalog,
what
type
of
things
it
is,
and
you
know
it's
we're
learning
now
you
know
kind
of
what
things
are
being
blocked
and
what
aren't.
O
But
it's
it's
a
constant,
constant
Target
that
we're
trying
to
hit
with
with
everything,
because
things
change
quickly
online
as
you've,
probably
noticed,
probably
faster
than
those
of
those
of
us
that
are
getting
older
faster
than
we
want,
but
so
I
I
would
recommend,
maybe
bringing
these
up
with
either
Andrew
or
Caleb
in
the
future
about
what
some
of
the
new
things
are,
what
we're
looking
at
I'm,
just
the
guy
that
tries
to
pick
stuff
that
has
broken,
but
we.
A
A
And
then
I
know
that
we
had
a
question
about
what
is
it
political
activity
and
then
on
this
one
I
know
that
it
was
mentioned
that
you
know
like
if
we
have
like
levees
or
things
that
need
to
be
passed.
I
know
from
oh
by
the
way.
This
is
my
sixth
anniversary
sixth
year
anniversary
tonight.
A
I
know
that
in
the
last
six
years
and
I
could
say
that
in
the
last
six
years
in
the
trains
that
we've
had
Dr
French
and
in
in
in
some
of
the
teacher
meetings
that
I've
sat
in
you
know
and
when
we,
when
there's
committees
about
trying
to
get
Levy,
supplemental
levies
passed
or
any
type
of
love,
he
said
correct
me
if
I'm,
if
I'm
wrong,
Vice
chairmani,
but
it
is
imperative
and
we've
always
talked
about.
You
know
we
have
to
present
the
information.
H
Well,
Madam,
chair
and
trustees,
we've
we've
always
been
able
to
present
facts.
Yes,
so
we
do
send
a
fact
sheet
out
so
people,
so
parents
and
patrons
are
aware
of
what
it
is.
We
are
planning
how
we
plan
to
use
the
money
correct
right.
So,
on
the
plant
facility,
we
had
community
members
who
were
putting
they
put
together
their
own
campaign
to
the
to
support
the
plant
facility,
which
was
totally
separate
from
the
district
right
and.
A
H
So
I
am
and
working
with
the
cea.
We
appreciate
that's
how
we
communicate.
You
know
how
this
when
we
share
this
these
facts,
it's
just
they're
just
facts:
I
I
would
just
continue
to
well
work
with
them.
So
when
we
need
to
send
out
a
fact
sheet,
that's
what's
going
to
parents
as
a
fact,
and
it's
not
a
vote.
This
way.
A
So
back
to
the
second
and
final
reading,
how
do
y'all
feel
can
are
you
ready
to
make
a
motion
for
the
second
and
final
reading
of
these
policies.

Opens
a
Chromebook,
that's
school
property,
and
does
this
what's
going
to
happen
and
just
kind
of
fill
us
in
because
it's
all
great
to
me
and
and
so
learning
from
him?
What
the
new
program
is
that
will
help
protect
our
our
young
people
would
be
just
very
helpful
information,
I
think
for
all
of
us
kind
of
the
reality.
A
A
So
could
you
put
that
down
Madam
clerk
as
a
future
item
agenda
item.
Thank
you.
Okay,
thank
you.
Yes,
and
so
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
vote
all
those
in
favor.
Please
say:
aye
hi
hi,
any
opposed
Nate.
All
right
motion
passes
all
right.
So
next
we
have
information
only
upcoming
events,
so
on
July
24th
Monday
in
two
weeks
we
have
our
summer
board
retreat
at
the
College
of
Idaho.
So
we
are.
A
A
So
the
16th
is
the
first
day
of
school
and
then
we
put
on
August
15th
through
the
19th
is
called
one
night
rodeo
and
the
reason
we
put
that
down
is
because
we
do
have
a
lot
of
students
groups,
organizations
that
help
with
the
colder
night
rodeo,
with
fundraising
and
and
all
that
good
stuff
and
Buckaroo
breakfast
that
we
have
we'll
see
our
our
great
School
District
staff
I'd
like
two
pancakes.
Please.
H
A
Be
there
by
six
please
order
me
a
T-shirt
and
and
and
on
behalf
of
the
quantity,
also
Chuck,
Wagon
dinner
yeah
that
night
so
anyways.
