Description

If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
All
right
good
evening,
welcome
to
the
special
board
meeting
and
executive
session
today
is
Monday
February,
27,
2023
and
I
would
like
to
call
this
meeting
to
order
Madam
clerk.
If
you
would
please
call
the
room.
B
A
I
have
a
motion
I'd
like
to
ask
for
a
second
okay
I,
have
a
motion
this
second
for
the
discussion
trustees,
okay,
hearing
nine
I'd
like
to
ask
for
a
vote
all
those
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
aye,
any
opposed!
Nate
okay
motion
carries
all
right
and
we
have,
let's
see
our
for
our
meeting
agenda
this
evening.
The
first
item
that
we
have
is
the
reading
Proclamation.
So
we
have
do.
D
We
have
them
here:
Madam,
chair
and
Justice,
Cheryl,
grubernet
and
Anita
Wilson
are
online.
Okay,.
E
To
speak,
this
is
Anita
Wilson.
Can
you
hear
me?
Yes,
we
can
great
thanks
for
having
us
so
Cheryl
griebenel
is
our
librarian
and
she's
online
and
she
has
been
a
librarian
for
the
last
two
years.
She
has
done
an
excellent
job.
She
had
big
shoes
to
fill.
E
If
you
remember,
she
had
to
follow
up
from
Mr
Fowler
and
he
was
just
a
legend
and
an
amazing
teacher
and
Cheryl
has
just
jumped
right
into
that
and
done
an
amazing
job
at
the
library,
so
she's
trying
to
implement
a
lot
of
different
things
that
will
encourage
students
to
read
and
in
March
she'll,
explain
to
you
what
she
has
going
on
and
she
would
like
to
have
the
school
board
make
a
proclamation
about
reading
across
our
schools.
So
she
has
a
presentation
for
each
alternative
over
to
Cheryl,
but
thank
you.
G
Hello
I
am
going
to
try
to
share
my
screen
with
you,
except
for
you.
Gotta
find
the
right.
H
D
I
G
G
Okay,
now
do
you
see
it?
Yes,
okay,
okay,
so
thank
you
for
inviting
us
to
be
here
and
I.
Just
I'm
really
excited
about
talking
about
reading
and.
G
Sharing
with
you,
my
idea
about
just
emphasizing
reading
all
across
the
district,
because
as
a
district
we
are
CR,
are
trying
to
create
lifelong
readers,
and-
and
so
this
is
just
something
that
we
can
do
towards
that
goal.
G
So
each
of
the
each
of
the
schools
in
the
district
are
planning
some
library
or
excuse
me.
Reading
themed
activities
during
the
month
of
March
I
wanted
to
just
talk
a
little
bit
about
some
of
the
research.
That's
been
done
about
the
value
of
reading
I.
G
One
specific
quote
is
from
read
to
Ace
the
sit
by
author,
Jeff
mcquinlan
and
obviously
the
SAT
is
not
as
important
as
it
used
to
be,
but
we
do
want
kids
to
be
prepared
for
other
kinds
of
standardized
testing
and
also
just
to
be
able
to
use
those
reading
skills
in
there
in
their
life
in
the
future.
G
A
G
G
So
the
National
Education
Association
created
read
across
America
a
long
time
ago.
I
don't
even
know
when
it
started,
but
they
chose
March
2nd
because
it
was
Dr,
Seuss's
birthday
and
used
to
have
a
a
Dr
Seuss
theme
every
year.
G
But
in
order
to
make
it
more
diverse,
they've
they've
moved
away
from
just
focusing
on
Dr
Seuss
and
celebrating
diversity
in
meeting
so
schools
and
libraries
celebrate
read
Across
America
on
March
2nd
and
they
encourage
Educators
parents,
caregivers
and
children
to
to
keep
reading
all
year.
Long.
G
G
Different
different
kinds
of
events
to
appeal
to
different
kinds
of
readers,
hopefully
draw
in
students
that
might
not
necessarily
usually
be
there
or
be
reading
and
help
help
kids,
especially
reluctant
readers
and
struggling
readers
to
to
realize
that
that
they
can
find
something
that
they
like
to
read.
G
G
During
the
video
announcements
we
have
some
of
the
some
teachers
and
student
council
members
and
the
mayor
are
all
gonna,
do
videos
of
them
reading
so
that
we
can
share
that
with
students
and
that
they
can
understand
that
that
reading's,
important
and
then
Lincoln
Elementary
is
giving
a
book
to
every
student.
G
Lewis
and
Clark
is
doing
a
a
reading.
Challenge
in
March
Sacagawea
is
doing
a
a
school-wide
reading
challenge
with
prizes.
G
They
have
a
lot
of
prizes
for
different
levels
and
stuff,
and
Jefferson
has
all
year
long.
They
do
15
min
15
minutes
of
individual
reading
time
every
day
so
that
they
are
encouraging
kids
to
read
something
that
they
are
interested
in
every
day.
G
Challenge
I
can't
think
of
the
word
I
want,
but
anyway,
the
one,
the
kids
that
read
the
most
books
by
class
I
think
it
is
when
prizes.
G
So
this
is
just
some
of
what's
going
on,
but
each
each
building,
Librarian
Is
is
planning
some.
Some
kind
of
reading
focused
event
for
during
March.
G
Oh
yes
and
Sacagawea,
the
principal
is
going
to
get
a
pie
in
the
face.
Maybe
maybe
Anita
wants
to
do
that
too.
A
G
So
what
I
did
was
just
edited
the
proclamation
that
the
National
Education
Association
provided
to
suit
our
purposes.
And
so
this
is
my
suggestion
for
the
kind
of
proclamation
that
you
could
make,
and
so
it
says,
whereas
the
citizens
of
Caldwell
School
District,
stand
firmly
committed
to
promoting
reading
as
the
Catalyst
for
our
students.
G
Future
academic
success,
their
preparation
for
America's
jobs
as
a
future
and
their
ability
to
compete
in
the
global
global
economy
and
whereas
Caldwell
school
district
has
provided
significant
leadership
in
the
area
of
community
involvement
in
the
education
of
our
youth,
grounded
in
the
principle
that
educational
investment
is
the
key
to
the
community's
well-being
and
long-term
quality
of
life.
And
whereas
nea's
read
Across
America
day
and
national
celebration
of
reading
on
March,
2nd
2023
promotes
reading
and
an
adult
involvement
in
the
education
of
our
community.
G
Students,
therefore,
be
it
resolved
at
the
Caldwell
School
District
Board
of
Trustees
calls
on
the
citizens
and
staff
of
Caldwell
student
School
District
to
ensure
that
every
student
is
in
a
safe
place,
reading
on
their
own
or
together
with
a
caring
adult
in
March
2023
and
be
it
further
resolved
that
this
body
enthusiastically
endorses
reading
activities
and
events
in
each
Caldwell,
School,
District,
building
and
recommits
our
community
to
engage
in
programs
and
activities
to
make
children
to
make
America's
children.
The
best
readers
in
the
world.
F
G
Back
to
my
I
think
that
was
the
last
slide.
I
have
do
you
have
any
questions.
A
I'd
like
to
make
a
comment:
Michelle.
Thank
you
very
much
for
your
presentation.
A
A
Remember
my
dad
had
a
subscription
to
the
reader's
digest
in
Spanish
and
every
time
he
would
get
you
know
his
little
book
and
and
I
always
wanted
to
read
it
and
I
didn't
know
how
to
read
very
well
in
Spanish,
but
he
decided
to
get
me
a
subscription
in
English,
and
the
first
article
that
I
would
go
to
was
laughter
is
the
best
medicine
and
it
was
my
favorite
little
book
because
it
had
little
articles
that
weren't
very
long
and
and
I
still
have
my
subscription
to
this
day
so
and
it
was
because
of
my
father.
A
J
I
and
I'm
sure
I
used
to
read
the
Reader's
Digest
as
well,
when
we
would
go
to
my
grandmother's
house
and
she
lived
just
a
couple
miles
from
us
and
I
loved
I
think
it
was.
The
section
was
called
adventures
in
real
life
or
something
to
that
effect
and
I
love.
Reading
about
these
real
life
stories
of
people,
doing
you
know,
surviving
and
doing
amazing
things
and,
and
so
I
love
reading
as
well.
A
Awesome,
no,
sir
okay!
So
then,
so
then
in
honor
of
the
national
read
Across
America
day
in
March,
the
Caldwell
School
District
would
like
to
proclaim
the
month
of
March
reading
across
the
district
for
all
staff,
students
and
families.
So
for
this
section,
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
motion.
K
B
K
March
as
the
reading
the
reading
Proclamation
that
has
just
been
read
and
that
we
are
fully
embracing
it
here
in
the
Caldwell
School
District.
Thank.
A
A
D
Madam
chair,
thank
you.
So,
as
you
know,
there
was
a
situation
in
preschool
and
I.
Had
a
parent,
Katie
Garcia
reach
out
to
me
and
just
ask
if
she
could
share
some
thoughts
with
the
board
and
tonight's
meeting
is
a
little
better
than
just
a
regular
meetings,
because
you
can
I
share
with
her
that
the
board
can
interact
with
you
and
ask
you
questions
as
well
and
then
and
then
miss
hirosaki
is
here
as
well.
If
you
have
questions
for
her,
but.
B
D
Did
want
to
if
we
can
have
Katie
share
with
her
thoughts
on
the
situation
and
she
had
some
ideas,
but
she
was
like
the
board
to
consider.
F
My
son
is
three
years
old:
he's
a
smart,
sweet,
loving,
fun,
very
energetic,
little
boy,
who's
non-verbal,
with
Down
Syndrome,
who
was
attending
developmental
preschool
at
Lincoln
Elementary
with
Carrie
black,
has
a
special
education
teacher,
my
son
and
at
least
five
other
non-verbal
children
with
disabilities
in
his
class
past
and
present
or
unnecessarily
abused
by
Carrie
black.
My
son
was
witnessed
to
be
abused
on
two
occasions
in
January
2023.
F
All
this
could
have
been
prevented
better.
Yet
if
cameras
were
placed
in
vulnerable
populations
such
as
nonverbal
with
disability
classrooms,
none
of
the
children
would
have
been
abused
at
the
hands
of
Kerry
black
and
her
counterpart
Kim
Rocky
I
appreciate
all
that
has
been
done
for
not
just
mine
and
my
my
son
and
my
family,
but
for
the
other
families
Justice
and
the
other
Children's
Justice
I
appreciate
all
you
guys
are
doing
to
make
sure
this
doesn't
happen
again.
F
There
are
many
people
here
tonight
and
I
appreciate
you
guys,
like
Community
leaders
and
parents
of
my
community
of
special
needs
children
that
will
agree.
We
need
cameras
in
the
classroom,
That,
Should,
Be,
Live,
streamed
and
recording
with
parental
and
guardian
access
to
ensure
our
children,
teachers,
schools
and
Caldwell
School
District
are
safe.
A
F
A
I
have
thank
you
and
Justin.
Do
you
have
any
questions
for
for
Miss,
Kate.
F
We
all
of
us
parents
trusted
Terry
black
sure
there
were
some
red
flags.
We
brushed
her
up
as
oh
you're
being
a
worrywart.
She,
your
children,
are
fine.
There
I
thought
my
son
was
fine
there
and
then
come
to
find
out.
I
didn't
find
out
until
a
month
after
the
abuse
took
place,
and
he
was
still
going
being.
C
E
B
D
You
Madam,
let
me
ask
Katie,
did
you
receive
any
like
dojo
Communications?
D
F
D
I
just
really
think
and
I
I'm,
just
looking
at
like
Mrs
Versace
and
others.
That
is
one
way
that
we
can
communicate
with
parents
throughout
the
day.
Is
you
know
just
because
dojo,
it's
a
great
way
to
mass?
Let
your
parents
know
what's
happening
in
that
classroom
at
the
time
I
I
will
say.
We've
talked
about.
You
know
your
your
your
suggestion
on
cameras.
D
I
cannot
tell
you
how
delayed
those
are
so
there's
a
big
delay
in
cameras.
We
have
an
order
out
for
cameras
that
we
talked
about
today.
That's
been
over,
it's
almost
a
year
waiting
for
cameras
to
replace
that
Canyon
Springs,
and
so
it's
like
well,
what
can
we
do
in
the
meantime,
or
is
that
something
we
need
to
consider
in
a
policy?
F
If
there
is
a
way
to
put
cameras
in
the
classrooms,
I
feel
the
children
would
be
a
lot
safer
in
the
classrooms.
Just
in
case
it
happened
again,
you
never
know
I
mean
people
are
here
when
they
make
mistakes.
F
Teachers
are
human,
I
mean
they
make
mistakes,
but
to
make
that
same
mistake
over
and
over
again
with
the
most
vulnerable
population
is
pretty
pretty
sad
and
I'm
glad
that
she's
no
longer
there.
I
D
It's
my
personal
thing:
yeah.
Can
you
speak
to
that
week?
You
can
pop
in
you
can
go
visit
that
classroom
I.
D
Well,
I'm
gonna
I
was
I,
will
speak
for
Mr,
Jameson
and
I
know
that
he
will
having
you
come
in
just
check
in
Mrs.
Hiroshaki
was
in
the
classroom
not
this
last
week,
and
we
have
parents
that
they
stayed.
They
stayed
for
some
time
and
then
when
they
they
were
able
to
begin.
It's
hung
out
for
a
bit
and
then
then
they're
left,
but
you
are
welcome
to
be
there
and
if
you
want
to
be
a
parent
volunteer
I
do
we
will
be
happy
to
have
paired
volunteers.
Okay,
we
do
have
a.
D
F
And
I
appreciate
that
not
reintroducing
the
kids
to
a
new
teacher
in
the
same
old
classroom
where
the
abuse
took
place.
I
think
that's
a
great
thing,
but
I'd
really
like
cameras
in
the
classroom
and
if
you
guys
could
please
vote
on
maybe
not
today,
but
in
a
future
board
meeting.
Please
vote
to
allow
cameras
in
the
classroom
because
I
understand
there's
no
cameras
in
the
classroom
policy
right
now,
so
I'm
not
sure
I
can
move
mountains
today,
but
eventually
just
in
the
vulnerable
population
for
now
and
then
maybe
over
the
next
couple
years.
F
As
we
see
it
take
off
throughout
each
classroom,
because
there
was
even
an
instance
not
too
long
ago,
with
a
substitute
teacher
that
pulled
down
the
shades
closed,
the
blinds
and
ask
the
middle
schoolers
so
who's
your
crush.
Who
do
you
have
a
crush
on?
Do
you
have
a
question?
Do
you
guys
want
to
hook
up
who
has
beef?
F
Who
wants
to
fight
each
other
and
had
two
middle
school
girls
fight
each
other
and
he
videotaped
it
and
posted
it
to
his
Instagram
and
he
allowed
the
other
students
to
videotape
it
under
the
under
the
agreement
that
they
wouldn't
put
his
face
in
the
videotape
now
had
he
known
he
was
on
camera?
Would
he
had
done
the
same
thing?
If
Miss
Black
knew
that
she
was
on
camera,
would
she
had
done
the
same
thing?
F
I,
don't
think
they
would
have
and
as
far
as
teachers
or
staff,
not
wanting
to
be
on
camera,
you
should
always
look
like
you're
on
camera,
because
if
you're,
not
you
might
do
something,
you
regret
you
should
always
live
like
God.
Is
watching
you
not
to
bring
religion
to
church,
but
you
should
always
live
like
God
Is
Watching,
because
he
is
so.
D
F
F
Would
a
petition
help
at
all?
Would
you
guys
feel
more
comfortable
doing
that
with
a
petition?
I
could
put
one
together,
I.
A
Think
that
I
mean
you,
you
have
the
Liberty.
You
know
the
freedom
to
do
that
and
I
believe
that,
like
for
our
policies
yeah,
we
got
to
look
at
all
the
different
angles,
because
I
know
there's
also
legal
issues
with
cameras,
and
so
you
know
it
it
would
I
mean
for
me.
If
it,
you
know,
I
completely
understand
where
you're
coming
from,
and
you
know
we're
trying
to
keep
our
kids
safe
in
in.
Like
trustee
godina
said.
I
A
A
D
Madam
chair
so
I'm
reading
policy,
3560,
electronic
surveillance
and
right
now
it
I
mean
when
you
look
in
here
the
purp.
It
tells
you
the
purpose
of
it
and
then
electronic
surveillance
may
be
used
in
the
school
building
or
on
school
property
and
may
be
installed
in
common
areas
and
other
higher
risk
areas
as
deemed
appropriate.
D
Yeah,
electronic
surveillance
will
not
be
placed
into
a
classroom
without
teacher
consent
unless
it
is
deemed
high
risk.
So
you
know
what
that
we
can
look
at
that.
Okay
I
mean
it's
there,
so
there's
a
policy
in
existence
and
we
just
need
to
have
a
discussion
of
our
special
education
classrooms
high
risk
because
it
also
protects
the
adult.
K
It's
just
a
comment.
Thank
you
so
much
for
coming
and
as
a
mom
and
a
grandma,
this
just
breaks
my
heart
I
mean
that
we
have
to
that.
Something
like
this
happens,
especially
to
such
a
vulnerable
population
and
I,
will
look
into
this.
What
I
you
know
with
the
board
and
I
appreciate
you
coming
forward
and
chatting
with
us
about
it.
Thank.
F
H
2019
Fairview
Avenue
in
Caldwell.
It
still
makes
me
very
emotional.
I
talked
to
China
about
it,
but
similar,
not
the
physical
abuse
that
happened
to
her
son,
but
my
daughter
was
verbally
abused
when
she
could
not
speak
or
tell
me
what
happened
at
Wilson
Elementary,
not
not
as
much
in
the
preschool,
but
in
kindergarten
with
a
first
year
teacher
in
our
district
and
she
isolated
her.
She
set
her
at
the
back
of
the
room.
She
didn't
assign
her
partner
when
all
the
other
kids
had
Partners.
She
would
ignore
her.
H
Even
when
I
was
in
the
classroom,
and
my
daughter
was
trying
to
talk
to
her,
but
even
before
that
we
had
Parents
approach
me
in
the
parking
lot
asking
if
my
daughter
was
okay,
because
their
kid
was
telling
them
that
the
teacher
was
not
being
nice
to
my
daughter.
She
would
tell
the
kids
that
she
was
a
bad
friend.
She
would
separate
her
from
everybody
and
it's
it's
really
awful.
When
your
child
can't
tell
you
what's
happening,
she
started
to
not
like
going,
but
we
didn't.
H
We
didn't
know
if
things
were
harder
and
she
couldn't
tell
us,
but
some
of
my
things
was
there
was
an
aid
in
that
classroom
with
another
student
who
had
a
one-on-one
who
never
said
anything
that
she
was
seeing.
These
things
happen
with
my
daughter,
never
reported
it
and
that
to
me
is
not
okay,
I,
don't
know
if
she
was
afraid
for
her
job
if
she
felt
she
couldn't
override
the
teacher
in
the
classroom,
I'm
not
sure
what
the
deal
was
but
and
that
teacher
was
allowed
to
stay
the
whole
year.
H
H
Maybe
it's
someone
outside
of
their
school
so
that
they
don't
impact
a
potential
work
environment,
but
just
having
I
know
you
know,
my
husband's
military,
so
I'm
like
chain
of
command,
is
what
I
think
of,
but
some
way
that
they
know
who
to
tell
if
something
happens
and
that
it's
taken
seriously.
Thank
you
very
much.
Thank.
F
D
Madam
chair
and
this
isaka,
you
can
jump
in
anytime,
but
we
will.
You
know.
We've
talked
about
making
sure
we
have
good
training,
but
people
have
a
voice
and
it's
it's
better
too
get
involved
early,
because
sometimes
it
may
be
a
misunderstood.
D
Sometimes
we
just
we
maybe
make
a
decision
like
oh
I
didn't
even
think
that
that
would
be
and
other
times
it's
just.
We
really
do
need
people
to
it's
like
Crime
Stoppers,
your
neighborhood's.
Only
as
safe
as
your
crime,
stopper
neighbors
around
you
right,
you've
got
to
have
people
be
willing
to
share
their
concerns
or
step
in
and
we've
had
that
I
mean
we
do
have
great
people
who
are
willing
to
step
up
and
step
in
and
say,
Let
me.
D
Can't
yeah
the
CC
ital
is
really
it's
kind
of
a
more
like
suicide
or
it's
it's
at
a
high
school
middle
school.
You
know
level
for
kids
to
help
like
if
they
see
something
or
they're.
B
D
Something
they
shouldn't
say
just
suicide,
but
other
things
that
they're
hearing
other
can
that
they're
concerned
about
for
adults
we
just
they
could
use
the
same
hotline
it
that
it
take.
It
goes
through
the
police.
Oh
it's
like
a
through
a
well
I
shouldn't,
say:
police.
It
goes
through
the
office
of
School,
Safety
and
Security,
so
it
takes
it.
It
doesn't
come
right
back,
I!
Think
right.
The
principle
is
your
first
person
you
need
to
go
to
the
principal.
D
The
next
person
in
line
would
be
Mrs,
arasaki
or
Mrs
Butler
right
and
then
really-
and
it's
just
pulling
the
folks
together
to
say,
do.
D
K
D
That
make
sense
and
I'm
not
saying
this
was
simple.
This
was
not
appropriate
at
all,
so
we
have
into
like.
Maybe
it's
a
diaper
changing
it
can
be
challenging.
I
have
not
changed
a
diaper
of
a
four-year-old
not
had
that
experience.
That
could
be
tricky,
but
we
can
provide
training
like
to
the
best
practice.
For
you
know,
how
do
you
change
the
diaper
event?
Unwilling
toddler.
E
F
F
Want
my
son
to
be
able
to
go
back
to
school
and
I'm?
Sorry,
if
I
wasn't
clear
on
some
things.
No,
we.
D
And
we
hope
that
what
you,
when
you're,
ready
we'd
love
for
you
to
come,
take
a
tour,
meet
the
new
staff
and
and
volunteer,
because
we
could
put
you
to
work
right
away.
K
M
M
M
M
M
I
M
J
M
D
Well
and
I
would
say
Madam,
chair
and
trustees,
and
that
is
why
we
would
really
appreciate,
like
Katie
coming
to
meet
the
new
staff,
see
the
changes
that
are
made.
We
do
believe
I
mean
during
the
and
I
appreciate
you
saying
on
Amazon.
We
do
our
camera
system,
we
want
it
to
be
able
to
feed
into
our
our
overall
system
so
that
we
can
get
the.
D
M
So
when
you
say
the
new
staff,
does
that
mean
the
entire
preschool
staff
in
Lincoln
has
been
changed?
Yes,
okay
and.
I
D
D
M
Good,
so
that
you
know
what
I
mean
as
a
parent
that
makes
me
feel
better.
You
know
what
I
mean,
because,
like
my
son
has
a
behavior,
interventionist
and
I
trust.
Her
with
my
kid
100
like
I,
would
go
to
bed
for
her
because
she
is
so
warm
and
inviting
and
he's
so
excited
to
see
her
every
day.
You
know
what
I
mean
she's
so
good
with
him.
His
teachers
are
so
good
with
him.
These
are
the
things
we
want
first,
but
for
all
of
our
children,
but
more
importantly,
for
our
our
non-verbal
children.
M
You
know
because
he
can't
tell
me
about
his
day.
He
can
tell
me
he
wants
franchise,
but
he
can't
tell
me
you
know
what
happened
in
the
classroom
today.
Right
so
I
have
to
go
off
of
what
they're
telling
me
and
I
don't
necessarily
want
a
live
feed
that
I
can
see,
but
I
want
some
sort
of
a
record
that
shows
like
if
there
is
an
incident
like
I,
read
recently
on
social
media,
about
Van
Buren.
M
You
know
with
the
behavior
interventionist
Sacagawea,
one
of
the
two
I'm
sorry,
a
local
school
I
want
I
want
somebody,
one
of
you
to
be
able
to
look
at
that
live
feed
and
go.
Oh,
that's
not
that's
not
what
they
think
it
is.
You
know
what
I
mean
I
and,
like
you
said,
for
both
the
adults
and
the
children
in
the
classroom.
Yeah
everybody
should
be
protected
all
the
way
around.
It
should
Encompass
all
of
us.
Yes,.
J
Just
thinking
about
some
of
these
recent
issues
and
some
of
the
conversation
you
know,
as
a
teacher
myself,
I
know
that
for
the
Idaho,
the
code
of
ethics,
the
code
of
ethics
for
Idaho
public
Educators,
that
they
are
required
principle,
nine
duty
to
report,
a
professional
educator
reports,
breaches
of
the
code
of
ethics
provider,
professional
Educators
and
submits
reports
as
required
to
buy
no
code.
Unethical
conduct
includes-
and
that
lists
the
different
reasons.
But
surely
some
of
the
issues
that
we
you
know
have
happened
recently,
probably
fall
into
that?
J
You
know
duty
to
report
and
some
people
didn't
report
or
didn't
report
in
a
timely
manner,
and
so
that
probably
speaks
to
the
need
for
some
more
staff,
training
and
I.
Don't
know
if
that
the
code
of
ethics
for
professional
Educators
includes
you
know,
educational
assistance
if
it
includes
janitors
or
bus
drivers
or
cafeteria
people
or
who
that
includes
Does.
It
include
EAS,
you
know
in
classrooms,
Paris
I
don't
know,
but
that
is
a
really
important
thing.
J
I
We
do
have
all
employees
are
kind
of
not
bound
but
held
to
a
code
of
ethics,
whether
you're,
certified
or
classified.
That
is
our
practice
that
we've
implemented
is
and
I'm
I'm
going
to
find
a
way
to
push
it
out
into
the
system.
We
have
it
listed
on
our
website,
but
we
do
have
a
signature
page
now,
so
we
do
have
confirmation
that
has
been
given
to
every
employee.
I
L
A
And
you
know
we're
we're
we're
glad
that
you
have
come
up
here.
You
know
to
speak
and
because
you
know
it
is
it's
something
that
has
happened
in
our
community
and,
like
we've
said
before
you
know,
we
we
sincerely
apologize
for
the
families
that
are
hurting
through
these
this,
these
incidents
that
have
have
been
reported.
So
you
know
we
thank
you
and
we
appreciate
the
the
feedback,
the
suggestions
that
we've
received
and-
and
you
can
bet
that
we'll
be
looking
into
this
and
being
in
close
contact
with
our
district
office.
A
F
F
F
A
N
Good
evening,
hello,
thank
you
for
having
me
tonight,
I'm,
not
real
sure
what
Bill
did
before
so
I'm
going
to
kind
of
go
over.
What
Pam
kind
of
sent
me
so
I'm,
just
gonna
give
you
what
we're
where
we
are.
Currently
we
have
seven
cars
in
the
program.
We
just
purchased
two
more
Friday,
so
we're
I'm,
sorry
releasing
those
two
and
then
we
will
purchase
those.
We
will
put
our
ninth
car,
the
oldest
one,
that
is
a
2011.,
we're
gonna,
use
it
as
a
backup.
N
So
we
will
have
what
is
that
eight
cars,
four
I
think
we
have
12
instructors
right
now,
so
we
will
have
the
eight
cars
going
through
the
program
we
will
pay
off.
The
2020
kicks
looks
like
11,
so
November
of
23.,
so
we'll
have
both
of
those
paid
off.
Then
we
will
start
to
pay
off
the
the
new
centers
that
we
have.
N
We
in
June
we
asked
for
a
dollar
raise
for
our
instructors
and
then
in
January
we
were
able
to
give
them
another.
Two
dollar
raise
to
try
to
stay
competitive
with
some
of
the
other
programs
so
that
they
weren't
going
to
other
programs
to
work.
N
The
other
thing
is,
we
only
use
certified
teachers
so
we're
having
trouble
finding
instructors
because
they
have
to
take
a
class
through
I
believe
the
only
one
is
NNU
and
it's
like
a
six
five
month
class
that
was
offered
twice
a
year
and
it's
pretty
expensive,
so
we're
trying
to
figure
out
a
way
to
to
help
some,
especially
some
of
our
younger
teachers
who
are
interested,
but
that's
a
lot
of
money
for
them
to
come
up
with
right
away.
N
Four
of
my
teachers
will
be
retiring,
I
mean
they
retired
once
they
came
back
after
Bill
and
then
they've
been
helping
me
out
all
year.
So
after
the
summer,
I
don't
think
they're
going
to
I,
think
they're
50
years
and
the
program
is
done.
I
think
they're.
N
Kids,
how
to
drive
so
we
also
raised
our
driver's
ed
class
from
200
225,
mostly
because
of
the
cost
of
gas,
so
fuel
killed
us
last
summer.
It
still
stayed
within
budget
and
that
still
allows
the
students
of
the
Caldwell
School
District
to
still
have
that
free
driver's
ad.
If
they
qualify
for
Fast
Forward
guns
right,
we
were
able
to
do
that
because
we
are
offering
a
credit
with
all
certified
teachers.
N
So
as
of
2020
2021,
bill
is
still
with
the
program,
so
we
were
able
to
help
428
students
get
through
driver's
ed
2122.
It
was
334
and
I
believe
we
there
was
a
probably
a
session
or
two.
We
didn't
do
because
I
think
that
was
during
that
coveted
time
right
when
we
were
coming
back
and
our
classes
were
way
small
and
then
the
2023.
The
plan
is
about
365.
N
students
will
go
through
and
the
the
people
that
I
have
driving
for
us
right
now,
there's
there's
12
of
them
and
actually
less
than
that
probably
trying
to
get
all
those
kids
through.
So
they
they
take
a
lot
of
their
own
time
to
do
that
as
well.
N
We
did
create
our
own
hybrid
classroom
to
be
able
to
help
kids
that
are
still
playing
sports,
that
work,
that
families
are
working
and
they
can't
get
them
to
class
three
important
once
a
week.
So
we
do
meet
twice
a
week
and
then
we
they
meet
one
day
online
or
they
can
have
the
homework
and
then
they
are
able
to
meet.
So
we're
able
to
do
some
things
like
that
this
year
from
when
we
start
August
I
guess
was
the
first
class
for
this
year.
N
N
So
we're
just
going
to
keep
continuing
with
web
Builder
I'm,
not
changing
anything
we're
still
doing
what
Bill
did
so.
Do
you
have
any
questions.
N
A
Have
answers
okay,
so
when
you
say
okay,
so
the
classes
so
do
we
have
like
a
one
one
fall
class
and
then
one
spring
class
or
no?
We.
N
A
N
So
we
have
one
in
the
fall:
early
fall,
so
volleyball
season,
one
I'm,
sorry,
there's
two
classes
in
that,
and
then
we
do
another
one
kind
of
basketball
season:
okay,.
A
N
N
N
Person
and
then
January,
we
start
another
one,
we're
doing
two
classes,
we're
finishing
that
up
right
now:
okay,
we
will
be
done
right
before
spring
break.
Okay,
then
our
next
one
will
go
April
May.
We
did
that
so
that
if
there's
some
kids
who
need
that
extra
credit
to
graduate
or
those
Juniors
who
are
trying
to
do
that,
so
that
will
be
done
before
graduation.
N
So
if
we
have
that
student
that
we're
able
to
help
there
and
then
we
will
start
our
five
classes,
we're
going
to
try
a
night
class
because
we
have
students
who
are
taking
summer
school
or
we
have
students
who
are
working
that
can't
get.
M
N
N
And
then
we
would
drive
with
them
prior
to
or
later
in
the
evening
before
Saturdays
we
will
have
to
work
with
that.
Okay.
C
C
N
Understand
until
Pam
tells
me
where
it's
going
to
go
and
then
I
just
sent
it
with
the
driver,
so
they
cannot
drive
with
their
families
until
they
get
that
back
so
we'll
hand
out
permits
for
this
next,
one
I
believe
March
20th
and
so
then,
as
soon
as
they
have
that
you'll
see
parents
start
switching
with
them
in
the
parking
lot.
Oh
okay,
yeah,
okay,.
C
N
Yeah,
okay,
so
at
the
end
we
give
them
a
finish.
It's
called
the
finishing
look
and
they
have
to
log
their
hours
in
that
and
then
at
the
end
of
that
they
turn
it
into
the
registrar
and
then
that's
how
we're
able
to
offer
the
credits
or
I.
N
N
N
Yes,
yes,
so
every
driver,
every
student
has
six
hours
that
we
have
to
get
them
and
I'm
drove
a
while
ago,
so
I
took
class
A
few
years
ago
from
bill.
So
it
was
a
lot
easier
now
with
all
the
traffic,
all
the
road
closures.
It's
it's
been
it's
our.
Our
instructors
are
pretty
impressive
with
how
they
don't
get
stuck
at
a
light
for
15
minutes,
I
mean
just
a
stop
sign
to
get
into
Caldwell.
High
today
was
my
poor.
N
Kid
got
stuck
and
we
had
to
get
a
little
creative
so
because
it's
legally,
but
it's.
I
N
A
You
mentioned
that
there
that
the
we
have
the
certified
instructors
and
so
may
I
ask
how
much
does
that
cost
for
the
instructions
to
pay?
If.
N
I,
remember
correctly
from
this
last
Summer's
class
I
want
to
say
it's
450.,
oh.
A
N
It
is
four
credits
and
it
goes
towards
your
recertification,
but
it's
450
plus
they
have
to
pay
one
of
the
state.
Gentlemen:
I,
don't
think
we
have
no.
Ladies
doing
it
the
state
people
to
take
the
actual
driving
test,
so
they
have
to
pay
for
that.
Then
they
have
to
pay
for
a
physical
at
the
time
because
you
have
to
have
a
physical,
every
I
think
it's
two
years
so.
A
N
N
If
those
guys
don't
all
retire
on
me
right
away,
yeah
I
think
that
would
put
us
to
close
to
20.
yeah.
G
N
N
A
L
I've
got
a
question
I
think
somewhere
in
there
I
think
a
lot
of
it's
been
covered.
Currently
I
have
a
student
who's
going
through
it
right
now
and
he
is
driving
his
parents
up
a
wall,
unfortunately
not
literally
because
he
wants
his
permit,
so
he
can
get
out
and
drive
I
think
tomorrow,
night's
his
actually
his
last
class.
L
N
Do
we
have
to
do
another
three
weeks,
okay,
so
the
drivers
we?
This
is
the
one
session
that
we
give
the
drivers
an
extra
two
weeks,
so
they
have
actually
eight
weeks
to
finish
because
of
the
weather.
We
don't
ever
know
what's
going
to
happen,
yeah.
N
Everybody
has
to
be
interested
and
we
will
between
Pamela.
We
will
do
the
final
grades.
We
will
do
all
that
and
then
we
will
submit
paperwork
to
the
state
and
then
we
have
that
day
on
the
20th
that
we
will
so
I'm
trying
to
give
him
that
extra
that
last
weekend,
right,
I
guess
I'd
be
the
weekend
before
spring
break
for
us
right.
So
we're
trying
to
get
it
before
kids
go
on
spring
break,
so
they
can
drive
everywhere
with
their.
L
No
problem
and
then
one
more,
are
you
turning
away
students
or
like
if
you
had
the
the
20
instructors,
would
you
be
able
to
fill
the
classes
completely.
N
To
be
able
to,
we
do
have
a
waiting
list
each
time,
so
I
have
a
lot
who
would
like
into
this
fourth
session.
That
starts
in
April
and
I,
told
him
I
have
summer
available.
Our
summer
class
is
I
want
to
say
almost
full
already.
L
N
Caldwell
students
have
priority,
they
have
the
priority
of
the
the
first
seats
and
then
we
open
it
up
and
we
probably
have
anywhere
between
10
to
12
different
schools
getting
in
after
that
some
of
the
Valley
View
kids,
because
they
don't
have
quite
as
big
a
program,
a
lot
of
the
charter
schools
and
then
we
actually
host
a
class
out
in
marching
and
we
have
Marcy
and
Homedale,
because
I
have
a
teacher
that
teaches
in
marching.
L
A
So,
when
what
what
age
is
it
when
they
can
start
when
they
can
enter
so
I'm
sure
they
need
to
start
planning
before,
because
these
classes
are
getting
full,
so
I'm
just
saying,
because
I've
got
one
that'll
be
14
in.
N
J
A
quick
question:
yes,
so
Lisa,
the
so
the
cars
that
we
just
got
of
those
lease
or
they
least
to
own.
We.
L
L
I
have
one
more
question
mostly
on
the
funding
now
is:
is
driver's
ed
basically
self-sufficient
or
is
or
Caldwell
School
District
putting
money
in
towards
it
as
well
or
is
it
kind
of
more
self-sufficient.
N
L
I
was
just
wondering
about
some
kind
of
you're
talking
about
getting
certified
in
the
500
or
whatever
that
takes
is
is
trying
to
do
some
kind
of
rebate
at
the
end
or
if
they
serve
so
long,
then
then
they
get
paid
back.
N
If
that
was
there,
that
has
been
brought
up,
we're
looking
at
some
different
things.
That
is
part
of
the
reason
we
bumped
their
hourly
pay.
I
know
that
some
of
the
school
districts
I
think
a
couple
of
the
others
are
doing
a
little
bit
more
than
that,
but
the
people,
and
actually
we
have
people
from
a
lot
of
other
school
districts
working
for
us
and
they're,
pretty
loyal
to
us,
which
is
awesome.
And
then
we
are
going
to
look
I'm
going
to
try
to
figure
out
something
there.
A
D
D
D
M
D
B
D
D
D
Oh
okay,
I
thought
I'd
change
that
to
Black
what
we
have.
So
these
were
the
things
that
they
wrote
down,
so
they
have
cognitive
and
academic.
These
are
their
attributes,
creativity,
adaptability
organization,
communication,
problem,
solving
prioritization
and
planning
data,
analysis
and
statistics,
digital
and
programming
literacy,
and
you
can
see
that
they
have
a
focus
on
literacy,
mathematics
and
critical
thinking,
so
part
of
their
profile
is
that
their
graduate
would
be
able
to.
You
know
that
they
could
see
these
skills
or
these
attributes
and
throughout
their
time
as
a
individual
in
that
school
district.
D
That's
what
they
would
expect
to
see
that
these
students
are
moving
forward
in
those
areas
and
I.
Think
it's
very
interesting,
I
I
think
that
sometimes
we
don't
talk
a
lot
about
creativity,
and
yet
we
have
some
very.
When
we
look
at
our
robotics
team,
that's
getting
ready
to
go
to
state,
that's
pretty
creative,
and
sometimes
we
don't
think
of
it.
That
way,
and
there
are
things
that
are
happening,
that
if
we
we
could
actually
put
these
words
to
what's
happening
in
that
in
that
child's
or
that
Young
Person's
learning.
D
Okay,
the
next
thing
the
school
had
was
interpersonal,
so
they
talked
about.
This
is
what
they
want
the
student
to
leave
with.
They
want
them,
to
be
honest,
trust,
trusting
honesty,
trust
and
teamwork.
Those
are
the
three
things
that
the
three
I'll
say
pillars
that
their
students
when
they
walk
across
the
stage.
These
are
these,
are
skills
and
attributes
that
they
want
to
make
sure
that
they've
worked
on
throughout
their
time
and
that
would
include
humility,
empathy,
role,
modeling,
which
we
have
some
we've
had
them.
D
We've
had
students
speak
to
us
that
are
amazing
role
models
and
we
need
them
to
go
work
in
the
younger
grades,
motivating
others
resolving
conflicts,
digital
collaboration,
building
relationships,
collaborative
and
coaching.
So
a
graduate
is
not
just
an
individual
who
can
complete
algebra
one
successfully,
but
also
they
are
individual
that
is
able
to
Think
Through
how
to
resolve
a
conflict
or
they're
able
to
think
through.
Are
they
coachable?
Do
they
collaborate
and
sometimes
that's
tricky?
D
There
are
some,
you
know,
that's
a
skill
that
needs
to
be
developed
and
the
last
area
that
this
High
School
worked
on
was
the
self
leadership.
And
do
you
see
this
at
Lewis
and
Clark?
They
talk
about
their
four
learner,
their
learner
dispositions
and
it's
quite
an
emphasis
for
them.
If
you've
been
in
their
school,
that
students
can
tell
you
their
learner,
dispositions
and
persistence.
Is,
is
a
big
part
of
that
and
being
able
to
not
stop
trying
or
to
give
up,
because
well,
it's
just
going
to
take
too
long.
D
You
know
they
they
build
persistence
and
then
so
the
pillars
would
be
persistence,
integrity
and
self-control.
That
would
include
coping
risk
taking
digital
ethics.
D
Interesting
self-motivation
self-confidence,
Tech,
enablement,
energy
and
passion,
achievement
orientation.
So
when
I
was
looking
at
our
strategic
plan,
I
think
there
are
some
terms
that
we
could
pull
out
and
say.
This
is
a.
This
is
what
we
would
like
a
profile
of
a
call
to
a
graduate
I
also
think
it's
I
would
like
to
ask
the
board
to
allow
us
me
whatever
to
regroup
with
the
strategic
planning
committee
and
have
a
a
more
in-depth
conversation
of
what
this
means.
I
D
This
may
just
be
maybe
one
or
two
meetings
just
to
review
what
we
have
to
make
sure
that
learning
is
the
number
one
thing
we
want
edu.
Well,
education
is
number
one
and
we
want
our
kids
to
be
lifelong
Learners.
Well,
what
does
that
mean?
And
when
we
talk
about
the
profile
of
a
Caldwell
graduate,
does
that
mean
that
this
individual
is
self-confident?
D
Well,
I,
hope
so
because
that's
really
they
need
to
be,
and
how
would
that
look
it
may
it
may
look
different
for
different
students
where
we
can
see
a
progression
of
you
know
at
this
point
when
they
were
in
eighth
grade,
wouldn't
have
said
there,
the
confidence
may
not
have
been
there,
but
as
they've
gone
on,
we
can
see
that
confidence
has
grown.
That
means
we
also
need
to
know
our
students
well
and
and
be
able
to
re
to
report
back
to
ourselves
that
we're
you
know
we're
on
track
with
with
our
students.
A
Dr
French
I
was
looking
at
going
just
skimming
through
our
strategic
plan,
and
you
know
there's
a
lot
of
ways
to
get
to
where
we
want
to
be
right.
Our
our
goals
on
this
plan,
but
you
know,
as
I,
was
looking
through
here.
I
saw
some
of
the
things
that
jumped
out
at
me
were
college
readiness
or
career
Readiness,
and
it
was
like
okay
yeah.
We
have
that.
A
That's
what
we
want
them
to
be,
but
I
like
this
format,
because
it
kind
of
tells
you
this
is
the
things
that
we
have
to
specifically
work
on
to
get
them
there,
because
I
mean
it's
like.
We
want
them
all
the
way
over
here.
But
how
do
we
do
that?
And
we
do
have
some
good
goals
in
here.
You
know
with
the
retention
of
teachers.
They
are
strategic.
You
know
making
sure
that
design,
maintaining
educational
facilities
that
are
safe
for
students,
staff
Community.
D
D
D
A
You
know
I,
take
my
kid
to
a
party,
a
wedding,
a
reunion
and
and
I'm
just
like
they're,
not
even
present,
you
know
and
and
it's
important
because
and
then
you
know,
I
decided,
Well,
I'm
gonna
have
to
sit
down
to
them
and
tell
them
why
you
need
to
meet
these
people
and
who
they
are
because
when
you
get
a
reference
to
go,
work
they're
not
going
to
accept
your
family
references
that
you
need
to
have
you
need
to
know
somebody
yeah,
that's
not
your
age.
It's
a
little
bit
older
and
and
there's
no
way.
A
D
And
I'm
Madam
chair
and
trustees,
I'm
hoping
to
learn
more
so
I've
reached
out
to
this
high
school
and
she
was
the
former
principal
of
the
high
school
and
she's.
Now
the
deputy
superintendent
of
their
district
and
ask
her
for
more
information,
I'm
looking
I
will
reach
out
again,
if
I
don't
hear
from
her
shortly,
but
they
actually
have
a
rubric
so
that,
if
you
humility,
they
have
a
rubric
of
what
does
humility
look
like
so
as
you
move
through
these
stages?
D
So
it
might
look
like
this
if
it's
just
starting
and
what
it
looks
like
if
you've
been
working
on
it
because
that
helps
guide
us
as
well,
it
could
so
I
will
reach
out
to
her
again.
L
Yeah,
so
I
think
you
know
being
on
that
that
committee
and
going
going
through
that
I
think
one
of
the
things
that
we
heard
constantly
was
that
this
is
not
a
checklist
item
that
we
do
once
a
year
once
every
five
years
and
that
this
is
really
supposed
to
be
a
living
document
and
that
we're
supposed
to
be
referencing
we're
supposed
to
be
using
and
so
I
think
whatever
we
can
do
to
make
it
more
usable
and
user
friendly.
L
D
And,
and
possibly
trustee
Butler,
you
know
really
actually
identifying
is
we
can?
Is
this?
What
a
graduate
looks
like
are
the
terms
we
have
in
here
persistence
grit,
ownership,
those
terms.
What
does
that
look
like?
How
do
we
know
and
then
also
the
the
academic
piece
where
we
there's
evidence
that
I
think
literacy?
D
Well,
literacy
is
so
important
and
when
you
say
literacy,
it's
not
yes,
there's
math,
literacy,
science,
literacy,
you
know
and
and
so
appreciative
of
Mrs
agreement
now
and
her
passion
for
reading,
because
it
is
the
more
you
read
just
it
just
opens
your
mind.
Even
if
it's
reading
for
pleasure
right,
it's
still
is
a
gateway
to
expanding
your
thoughts
and
and
taking
perspective,
which
also
can
build
empathy.
I
A
D
D
She
just
so
it's
for
you
to
so
that
you're!
Well,
we
will
be
conducting
the
Caldwell
writing
assessment
that
she
is
going
to
it.
Sorry,
it
will
be
renamed
talk
about
writing
day
or
the
t-a-w-d
talk
about
writing
day.
D
H
D
D
K
through
11.,
oh
wow,
all
of
them
okay,
so
it's
all
grades
seniors,
get
a
little
break.
They
we
do
score
these
papers
on
March,
10th,
so
teachers,
it's
a
great
professional
development
day.
Teachers
are
able
to
score
them
together
and
talk
about
writing
and
what
is
where
there
might
be
gaps
where
they're
like
this
is
really
great.
How?
Where
did?
D
The
voting
window
will
close
the
following
Wednesday
March
8th,
so
that
should
go
out
to
all
families.
This
Wednesday
and
then
the
our
iStation
literacy
Benchmark
window
opens
next
week
and
will
run
through
the
sixth
through.
Oh
sorry,
we'll
runs
through
the
the
sixth
through
the
10th.
So
that's
for
the
K.
Well,
our
K5
students
take
the
iStation
progress,
monitoring
Benchmark,
and
that
starts
next
week.
D
A
Thank
you
appreciate
that
and
then
we
have
the
CE
survey.
D
Yes,
Madam
chair
so
as
part
of
the
state
requirement,
but
also
for
our
own
benefit.
We
will
be
conducting
the
center
for
educational
Effectiveness
survey.
It
will
be
different
than
the
survey
that
has
gone
out
in
the
past.
The
State
Board.
D
The
changes
in
administrative
rule
allow
us
to
to
use
our
to
use
a
different
survey
than
we
have.
The
state
had
required
us
to
use
cognia
and
it
really
wasn't
giving
us
the
same
type
of
feedback
that
Center
for
educational
Effectiveness
does
so
we
are
using
the
Cee
survey.
D
It
will
go
out
starting
the
seventh
and
it
will-
and
it
goes
to
students,
staff
and
parents
that
will
be
a
big
will
really
invite
parents
to
take
it,
especially
during
parent-teacher
conference
weeks,
if
they
cut
when
they're
in
the
school
make
sure
we
have
it
available
for
parents
to
just
take
it's
also
available
I
mean
they
can
take
it
on
their
phone,
but
we'll
make
it
available
as
well
at
the
school.
But
it's
open
from
the
seventh
through
right
before
that
Friday
before
spring
break.
Okay,
so
you'll
watch
for
that.
A
All
right,
and
then
we
have
was
that
it
for
the
CE.
Yes,
sorry
Dr,
French,
okay,
so
then
we
have
our
Personnel
report
and
it's
just
let's
see
oh
Madam,
chair
I
need
to
do.
Oh.
D
A
Oh
so
it's
they're
not
gonna,
have
senior
sneak
day.
That's
correct:
okay,
gotcha
they're
busy.
They
will
be
busy:
okay,
yeah,
okay,
that's
awesome,
okay
and
then
so
for
the
personal
report.
We
just
need
to
it's
an
action
item,
so
we
just
need
to
I
would
need
a
motion
to
approve
the
Personnel
report
and.
I
A
D
Madam
chair,
so
I
received
information
from
the
attorney
that's
helping
in
this
lawsuit
and
what
they
sent.
Oh
excuse
me
emotion.
They
need
the
board.
The
the
Board
needs
to
approve
the
advance
of
a
partial
payment
in
the
jewel
matter.
So
you
will
see
that
there
is
a
motion.
That's
asking.
Whereas
the
board
is
a
plaintiff
and
the
pending
multi-district
litigation
entitled
just
the
one
that.
A
Yeah,
okay,
please
may
I
yes,
okay,
so
trustees
here
is
the
the
motion.
A
So,
whereas
the
board
is
a
plaintiff
and
a
pending
multi-district
litigation
entitled
and
regarding
Jules,
Labs
Incorporated,
the
jewel
litigation
in
parentheses
and
whereas
the
board's
legal
counsel
in
the
jewel
litigation
has
a
prized
the
board
of
a
proposed
partial
settlement
of
the
pending
litigation,
including
the
general
terms
and
conditions
of
the
proposed
settlement
and
whereas
the
board's
legal
counsel
recommends
the
board
approved
the
proposed
partial
settlement
subject
to
final
legal
review
and
approval
and
whereas
the
board
finds
it
is
in
the
district's
interest
to
proceed
with
the
proposed
partial
settlement
of
the
jeweled
litigation
against
Joel's
lab
Incorporated
and
its
Founders
directors
and
board
members,
while
understanding
that
litigation
remains
ongoing
against
the
additional
Altria
defendant
and
Philip
Morris
USA
Incorporated
in
the
pending
litigation.
A
Now,
therefore,
be
it
resolved
by
the
board
of
Caldwell.
School
District
hereby
approves
the
settlement
agreement
and
will
take
all
necessary
steps
to
if
effectuate
the
settlement
agreement
further.
Be
it
resolved
at
the
board,
hereby
authorizes
its
legal
counsel
to
consent
to
the
proposed
settlement
on
behalf
of
the
board
and
directs
and
grants
authority
to
the
school
super
schools
superintendent
to
take
all
necessary
actions,
including
sign
signing
of
all
the
necessary
documentation
to
perfect
such
settlement.
So
at
this
time,
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
motion
to
approve
this
motion.
K
J
I'm
sure,
just
for
clarification
for
the
public,
so
they
may
not
be
aware
that
a
couple
years
ago
we
signed
on
to
a
class
action
suit
against
Jewel,
because
they
they
had
been
specifically
marketing,
heavily
marketing
their
products,
their
vaping
products
and
other
products
to
teens
and
the
youth.
And
so
there
we
just
felt
as
a
board
that
you
know
it
was
a
violation
of
of
trust
and
unethical,
extremely
unethical.
And
so
that's
why
we
signed
on
to
it.
A
L
A
Opposed
name
okay
motion
passes,
so
we
will
get
this
signed
and
then
have
it
we'll
give
it
to
our
Clerk,
and
so
we
can
proceed
with
this
with
the
litigation
with
Jules
all
right.
So
next
on
the
agenda,
we
have
the
covid-19
school
operation
plan
for
2022
2023.
D
Dr
French
yeah
Madam,
chair
I,
have
not
received
it.
There
have
been
no
updates
and
I'll
make
sure.
There's
an
update
by
March
13th.
A
Okay,
thank
you
and
I
believe
it's
information
only
yeah
unless
there
was
an
action,
but
it
doesn't
look
like
there
is
no
action
item
on
there.
Okay
and
at
this
time,
any
future
agenda
items
trustees
that
you
would
like
to
have.
J
A
Are
our
board
meeting
and,
like
I've,
always
said
what
the
policy
states
is
that
we
can
have
two
trustees
either
approach,
Dr,
french
fry
or
both
of
us
to
add
anything
to
the
the
agenda?
So
if
we
just
so
that
we
are
all
clear
on
that
and
I
think
it's
something
that
I
that
I
read
every
at
every
meeting.
So,
okay.
J
That
I'm
sure,
yes
I
know
we've
talked
in
the
past
about
we
had
started
three
years
ago,
looking
at
possibly
doing
a
magnet
school
at
the
elementary
level,
and
then
we
ran
into
covet
a
couple
years
ago
and
we
started
an
online
Academy
and
if
there's
interest
from
the
board
to
pursue
that
conversation
of
you
know
maybe
having
a
magnet
school
turning
one
of
the
elementary
schools
into
a
magnet
school
or
something
like
that.
If
there's
interest
in
having
that
conversation,
I
would
be
interested
in
having
that
conversation
moving
forward.
A
Yes,
I
would
like
to
also
I
would
also
be
interested
in
that.
Can
we
put
it
on
there
Madam
clerk
as
a
future
agenda
item?
Please,
okay,.
D
A
A
A
A
Right
and
so
at
this
time
we
have
reached
the
the
next
item
on
your
agenda
is
executive
session.
So
we
will
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
motion
to
enter
into
executive
session.
J
J
A
J
We
Madam
chair
are
we
going
to
continue
with
the
first
part,
one
f
for
legal
counsel,.
J
So
Madam
chair
entering
into
executive
session
as
per
Idaho
code,
74
206
1B,
to
consider
the
evaluation,
dismissal
or
discipline
of
or
you
hear,
complaints
or
charges
brought
against
a
public
officer,
employee
staff,
member
individual
agent
or
a
public
school
student.
Employee
number,
2023-27-28,
employee
number,
2023-27-2,
B.
A
Okay,
thank
you
very
much,
so
we
will
wait
to
to
clear
the
room
and
then
we
will
be
enter
executive
session.
Thank
you.
A
Okay
alrighty,
so
we
are
back
and
I
would
like
to
just
mention
that
we're
coming
out
of
executive
session
and
after
listening
to
the
information
provided
during
executive
session,
our
decision
regarding
Idaho
code.
A
A
2023-27-2
a
so
having
received
a
recommendation
for
the
immediate
discharge
of
a
certified
professional
employee
of
the
district
employee,
a
pursuant
to
the
applicable
provisions
of
the
Idaho
code.
I,
hereby
move
that
board
issue
to
employee.
A
or
any
other
date
that
we
come
deem
appropriate
with
the
individual
further
until
such
time
as
the
board
has
had
time
to
hold
the
applicable
hearing
and
take
action
on
such
recommendation.
The
board
ratifies
the
superintendent's
actions
in
placing
employee.
A
2023-27-02,
a
on
a
period
of
administrative
leave
and
further
continues
such
period
of
administrative
leave
from
the
district
until
further
action
by
this
board.
So
at
this
time
there
is
a
this
is
a
emotion
and
so
I
would
like
to
ask
for
a
second
and
then
Madam
clerk.
Do
you
want
to
call
the
roll
ing,
yeah
I
read
yeah
from
what
what
council
said
and
so
and
then
could
you
please
call
the
roll.
A
Yes,
okay
and
then,
after
listening
to
the
information
provided
during
an
executive
session,
our
decision
regarding
employee
number.
A
2023-27-2
B
will
be
information
only.
A
Right
meeting
is
adjourned.
