Hello and welcome back into another destination education episode where the students and staff are the stars. The Caldwell school district has been the heart of the Caldwell Community since 1893, and this week was no different. As the Cougars celebrated their homecoming. A time-honored tradition, class competitions started off with themed hallway decorations, where students made the hallways look like ancient civilizations.

Each class was designated with a different civilization. Students said they had alumni staff and community members come decorate and help make the hallways come to life. It's.

Really helpful to have a lot of help and I find it really cool that our community, like comes together and all like, helps I think it grows the community more in, like friendships and like relationships which is really important.

Competitions continued with the tug of war lip sync and Powder Puff football game. Students also took part in the annual homecoming parade foreign.

Caldwell tradition is something the students and Community look forward to every year. There was always.

Like a little part of it, that I was like oh I want to be like them like that looks so cool and then now I am like I'm. The one handing out the candy and I see all their little like smiles and laughs. That's.

That's so cute. We are fortunate to be a part of a community that values our youth, their education and believes in preserving Traditions that create cherished memories of friendship and learning. It's.

Really nice to like connect with people also outside of Caldwell High School, like everything like homecoming wise, has mainly an in-school thing like we connect with people inside the school but being able to bring people outside from Caldwell High School. It's really nice to be able to do that. The.

Caldwell Police Department even joined in on the homecoming festivities on Thursday they unveiled their new Caldwell High School police car. This new vehicle will soon be used by Officer Resendez, the SRO at Caldwell High School after being used as a patrol car for a couple of months.

It's gonna be a big honor to be able to drive this and represent the Caldwell Police Department and the Caldwell High School. It represents the school and then the police and the bond that they have together, which is what I've been wanting for a while. So we.

Appreciate our partnership with the Caldwell Police Department, we would also like to thank the Caldwell sign shop for their help with creating the designs for the police car as homecoming week comes to a close here in Caldwell.
