Description
As Attendance Awareness Month comes to an end, we highlight a few schools' positiveĀ attendance in this week's #DestinationEducation Episode. #EveryDayMatters
A
Hello
and
welcome
back
to
another
destination
education
episode
where
the
students
and
staff
are
the
stars
and
with
attendance,
Awareness
Month
wrapping
up.
We
would
like
to
highlight
some
of
the
amazing
attendance
from
our
students
at
a
few
of
our
schools.
During
the
second
week
of
September,
Sacajawea
Elementary
had
12
classes
that
had
98
or
better
attendance.
A
B
A
lot
of
learning
is
about
momentum
and
it
adds
on
what
was
learned
the
day
before
and
then
to
really
feel
like
you've
got
it
you're
there
the
whole
week
and
cannot
it
builds
up
and
over
time
you
feel
like
man,
I've
got
this
I'm
getting
stronger
and
stronger
and
stronger,
so
anytime,
you're
out
of
that
Rhythm.
If
you
were
absent
actually
as
an
adult
Aura
kid,
then
you
just
feel
like
I'm,
not
sure
what
everybody's
doing.
They
obviously
learned
something
yesterday
that
I
don't
know
Mr.
A
Now,
Wilson
Elementary
is
celebrating
their
great
attendance
by
recognizing
their
classes
on
social
media.
Last
week,
teachers
at
Wilson
rocked
their
cool
hats
because
their
classes
rocked
their
attendance.
14
classes
met
their
attendance
goal
for
the
week,
so
they
were
treated
to
extra
recesses.
All
week
long,
a
few
other
classes
made
sure
to
sign
the
everyday
matters
attendance
poster
making
their
commitment
to
their
attendance.
A
C
The
attend
Dance
is
for
anyone
who
has
had
two
or
fewer
absences
for
the
month
and
no
tardies,
so
we
set
the
bar
really
high
saying
if
you
need
to
be
to
class
on
time
every
day.
We
also
know
that
sometimes
that
doesn't
happen,
so
kids
can
earn
back
it's
Hardy
by
doing
community
service
around
the
school,
helping
out
a
teacher
or
a
friend.
They
can
earn
back
an
absence
if
they
check
in
with
their
teachers,
get
all
the
way
caught
up
on
work
and
the
teacher
signs
off
on
that.
A
Throughout
the
month
of
September,
we
have
learned
about
why
attendance
is
important,
celebrated
positive
attendance
and
have
taken
on
the
challenge
to
ensure
our
students
are
ready
to
learn,
because
every
day
matters
now
make
sure
to
tune
in
next
week
to
see
where
the
highlights
will
take
me.
Thank
you
for
watching
and
have
a
great
week.
