If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Hello,
I'm,
Tanya,
Taylor
and
I'm
here
to
talk
to
you
about
domestic
violence.
You
might
not
think
that
domestic
violence
affects
you,
but
chances
are
it's
affecting
someone
you
work
with.
Did
you
know
one
in
two
trans
or
non-binary
people,
one
in
three
women
and
nearly
one
in
four
men
will
be
in
an
abusive
relationship
in
their
lifetime.
A
In
2020
alone,
56
Maryland
residents
lost
their
lives
to
domestic
violence.
It
is
a
deadly
problem
not
only
at
home,
but
in
the
workplace
too.
In
this
training
module
we
will
address
what
domestic
violence
is,
as
well
as
some
of
the
myths
that
surround
it.
How
domestic
violence
impacts
the
workplace
learn
how
to
identify
both
victims
and
abusers
and
when
to
offer
help.
A
A
Most
of
us
experience
some
form
of
conflict
in
relationships,
whether
it
be
physical,
sexual,
emotional,
Financial
or
verbal.
However,
when
conflict
becomes
a
pattern
and
a
partner
holds
power
over
the
other
partner
through
fear,
intimidation
and
violence,
domestic
violence
becomes
a
serious
and
life-threatening
issue.
A
Abusive
relationships
are
not
always
just
one
person
both
Partners
can
be
abusive
in
a
relationship.
It
is
important
to
realize
domestic
violence
can
happen
to
anyone
and
it
is
never
the
victim's
fault.
Everyone
deserves
to
feel
safe
and
respected.
A
person
does
not
have
to
be
physically
harmed
to
be
abused.
A
There
are
several
models
that
can
help
explain
what
an
abusive
relationship
can
look
like.
One
example
is
the
cycle
of
violence
created
by
Lenore.
Walker
Lenore
found
that
many
violent
relationships
follow
a
common
pattern.
The
entire
cycle
may
happen
in
a
day,
or
it
may
take
weeks
or
months.
It
is
different
for
every
relationship
and
not
all
relationships
follow
this
cycle.
A
Myth
number
two
domestic
violence
is
physical
abuse.
Physical
violence
is
only
part
of
a
larger
pattern
of
abuse,
which
can
also
be
psychological,
emotional,
sexual
and
or
financial.
Sometimes
there
is
no
physical
damage.
The
abuser
may
use
other
methods
to
exert
power
and
control
over
an
intimate
partner.
A
A
There
are
also
misconceptions
about
victims.
Anyone
can
be
a
victim
women,
men,
children,
teens,
young
adults,
older
adults
and
those
with
disabilities.
Have
all
reported
domestic
violence,
the
notion
that
a
victim
can
just
leave
or
Escape
must
be
further
examined,
one
of
the
most
dangerous
times
for
a
person
fleeing
domestic
violence
abuse
is
when
they
physically
separate
from
their
partner.
A
A
Let's
shift
from
asking:
why
do
victims
stay
to?
Why
do
abusers?
Abuse
abuses
need
to
be
held
accountable
and
know
there
are
resources
available
for
them
too,
that
can
assist
them
with
learning
ways
to
love
better
in
the
next
section,
we'll
look
at
domestic
violence
as
a
workplace
issue
and
how
to
identify
both
victims
and
abusers.
A
A
It
is
important
to
recognize
these
signs
in
order
to
be
supportive
of
our
co-workers.
It
may
not
affect
you,
but
it
may
affect
someone
you
care
about
impaired
job
performance,
96
percent
experience,
problems
at
work
due
to
distractions,
having
difficulty
concentrating
being
afraid
of
unexpected
workplace
visits
or
the
potential
for
a
threat
to
be
carried
out.
A
75
percent
of
victims
report
being
harassed
over
the
phone
while
trying
to
work
increased
health
concerns.
Both
medical
and
mental
domestic
violence
is
the
leading
cause
of
injury
for
women
in
emergency
departments.
On
average
health
care
costs
are
42
percent
higher
than
for
those
non-abused
women.
Finally,
it
is
not
uncommon
for
mass
shooting
in
workplace
violent
perpetrators
to
have
a
history
of
domestic
violence.

Problem
solved
right.
No,
sadly,
Jenny
never
looked
over
the
cubicle
wall
to
see
the
bruises
around
Roberto's
wrist
and
the
dark
marks
around
his
neck.
If
she
had,
she
would
have
realized
the
extent
of
the
abusive
Behavior
immediately
when
Roberto
failed
to
show
up
the
next
day.
Jenny
didn't
report
anything
to
her
supervisor,
fearing
Roberto
might
be
punished
for
being
absent
without
leave.
A
Sometimes
our
inaction
can
prove
deadly.
It
is
Paramount
to
follow
through
when
we
offer
help,
even
if
we
think
we're
being
too
forward
in
this
case,
Jenny
did
offer,
but
she
forgot
to
check
in
with
Roberto
after
his
next
unexplained
absence.
Remember
people
trapped
in
abusive
situations
are
not
safe.
Clear
thinking
does
not
always
prevail,
Reach
Out
be
brave,
you
might
save
someone's
life
so
far.
The
examples
we
have
seen
have
been
between
co-workers,
who
have
close
relationships
with
each
other
and
feel
comfortable
discussing
personal
issues.

Oh
oh
wow,
okay,
I
can
come
back
later.
If
you
want
me
to
no.
D
D
Don't
think
it's
about
non-existent
cheating,
then
what
is
it
about?
I?
Think
it's
about
anxiety,
I!
Think
it's
about
control.
You
know.
Ever
since
I
received
my
promotion,
she's
worried
that
I
won't
be
able
to
spend
any
time
with
her
I
think
she
wants
to
stall
my
upward
momentum
as
crazy,
as
that
sounds
I,
think
that's
the
core
issue.
E
A
Despite
the
risks,
this
subordinate
took
a
chance.
Victims
of
domestic
violence
are
not
always
who
we
think
they
are
in
fact.
Sometimes
it's
the
people,
we
least
suspect
when
this
happens,
make
sure
the
person
being
affected
knows
they
are
not
alone,
provide
some
information
for
them
and
allow
them
to
decide
what's
best
for
them.
Knowing
you've
got
their
back.
A
A
A
A
We
have
learned
that
abusive
Behavior
can
be
verbal,
physical,
sexual,
technological,
financial
and
psychological.
It
can
happen
to
anyone,
it
can
be
deadly
and
it
is
never
the
victim's
fault.
Domestic
violence
is
a
workplace
issue
that
leads
to
increased
absenteeism
and
tardiness,
impaired
job
performance
and
both
medical
and
mental
health
concerns.
