From YouTube: Living wage - Cambridge City Council

Description

Cambridge City Council has been promoting the Real Living Wage, that reflects real costs of living, since it became accredited with the Living Wage Foundation in 2014. This is a key part of our Anti-poverty Strategy (which you can read here: https://www.cambridge.gov.uk/anti-poverty-strategy). Since 2014, we have supported a number of other local employers to become accredited in the city, including the three employers that talk about their experience of Living Wage accreditation in this video (ARM Ltd, Anglia Ruskin University and The Cambridge Organic Food Company).

“To find out more about the Real Living Wage and for a list of other employers that are accredited in Cambridge City go to: https://www.cambridge.gov.uk/living-wage. You can also visit the Living Wage Foundation’s website for more information on the national campaign: www.livingwage.org.uk. If you would like to find out more about how Living Wage accreditation could benefit your business, please email livingwage@cambridge.gov.uk.”
