From YouTube: Catch Up Skills 04 Aug 2020
Description
Catch up video from skills covered in the Satellite Club Table Tennis session form Tuesday 4th August.
A
This
week
we
start
with
some
side
steps
as
usual,
I'm
going
to
add
something
slightly
different.
Every
fourth
time
I
get
to
a
backhand,
I'm
going
to
do
a
turn,
so
it
will
look
like
this
forehand
ready
one
forehand
ready
two
forehand
ready
three
forehand.
When
I
get
to
the
backhand
this
time,
because
I'm
reaching
so
far
over
over,
I
can
do
a
spot
turn
and
come
back,
and
that
is
completely
wrong
coaching
wise
because
you
should
never
really
turn
your
back
on
the
table.
A
I
do
it
occasionally
when
I'm
reaching
really
wide.
So
when
you're
reaching
really
wide.
If
your
right
leg
will
come
over,
if
you're
right-handed
your
right
leg
will
come
over,
you
will
turn
on
the
balls
of
your
feet
and
come
back
again.
That's
a
spot
turn,
which
is
also
a
moving
ballroom
dancing,
particularly
the
cha
cha
cha.
A
A
A
The
objective
is:
can
you
get
down
to
a
seated
position
without
dropping
the
ball?
Now
we
go
back
to
one
of
our
old
favorites
keepy
uppy,
one,
two,
three,
four:
five:
six:
seven,
eight,
nine
ten,
nearly
on
the
backhand
side
and
10
on
the
forehand
side,
one
two,
three,
four:
five:
six,
seven,
eight
nine
ten,
and
if
we've
got
that,
then
we'll
alternate
one,
two,
three,
four:
five:
six:
seven,
eight,
nine
ten
and
now
I'm
going
to
try
and
go
around
the
table
again
and
here
we
go.
A
A
A
Four
tins
of
soup,
two
against
the
wall:
oh
sweet,
potato
and
coconut
to
either
side
of
the
dish
and
that's
the
target
I
find
hitting
it
straight
in
it
tends
to
bounce
straight
out.
So
I
aim
to
get
a
couple
of
bounces
in
first.
Let's
see
how
I
get
on
and
oh
spells.
No
and
that's
a
hit.
