A
Welcome
to
our
community
call
our
bi-weekly
community
call
here
today
on
tuesday.
We
are
running
these
calls
each
every
other,
tuesday,
so
bi-weekly
at
the
same
time,
6
p.m.
Cet,
today
we're
going
to
be
talking
to
michael
from
make
who
will
be
doing
an
update,
we'll
have
our
special
friends
from
the
dev
down,
given
an
update
speaking
about
casper
1.4
update,
which
recently
happened
and
giving
some
more
information
on
the
ongoing
git
coin
hackathon.
A
So
thank
you
to
everyone
for
joining.
Please
click
on
sound
loader
at
the
top
and
and
watch
stream
and
you'll
be
able
to
see
some
of
our
slides
and
I'm
going
to
hand
it
off
to
you
earlier
a
technical
update.
Thank
you.
B
Thank
you,
hi.
Everyone.
Thank
you
for
having
me
on
the
call,
so
the
casper
bitcoin
package
one
it
started
about
three
weeks
ago
and
it
has
been
a
great
success
so
far
it's
not
over.
Yet
we
have
one
more
week
until
october
11th
and
we
have
over
1200
builders
who
have
signed
up
from
91
countries,
and
we
have
seen
significant
work
on
topics
that
enhance
the
builders
experience
such
as
several
sdks
being
developed
and
enhanced,
and
we
have
seen
some
amazing
new
d
apps
in
the
open
topic
category.
C
Hello,
this
is
ralph,
you
know
of
the
board
of
casper
association.
It's
amazing.
Maybe
in
the
meantime,
until
someone
asks
a
question,
can
you
elaborate
a
little
bit
on
what
some
of
the
most
popular
topics
are?
I
mean
1200
is
a
lot
of
developers
so.
B
Yeah,
so
actually
we
have
a
lot
of
big
winners.
We
have
two
developers
who
are
coming
to
casper
for
the
first
time
and
to
blockchain
for
the
first
time.
So,
actually,
the
most
popular
was
the
beginner
boundary
where
we
had
over
150
submissions
and
the
other
topics
that
were
very
popular
were
the
go
sdk
and
the
c-sharp
sdk.
There
are
a
few
teams
working
on
that
and
let's
see
the
the
other
topics,
especially
in
the
advanced
sections,
are
very
unique,
so
everybody
is
bringing
in
a
minimal
idea.
B
D
E
All
right
sounds
great
hi.
Everyone
happy
to
provide
a
quick,
1.4
update
so
metaphor,
cto
casper,
laps
and
1.4
release
was
cut
from
development
and
we
are
now
performing
our
initial
round
of
testing
on
the
release.
The
big
things
to
note:
what
are
the
big
rocks
that
are
in
1.4
in
terms
of
notable
updates
one
is,
we
are
changing
the
gas
costs
for
wasmless
transfers.
E
We
felt
that
the
pricing
was
so
low
that
it
afforded
an
attack
of
what
we
call
a
ping
pong
attack
not
going
to
go
into
a
lot
of
details
about
it,
but
we
felt
it
necessary
to
raise
costs
for
wasmless
transfer.
We
have
notified
joe.
I
believe
you
are
talking
with
the
exchanges
on
this
right
and
putting
out
a
bulletin
informing
everybody,
broadly
from
the
association
that
this
is
coming
end
of
october.
F
That's
correct,
we're
being
as
active
as
possible,
making
sure
there's.
The
information
is
available
for
people
that
need
to
make
the
implementation.
E
That's
right
and
exchanges
can
make
the
change
right
away,
knowing
that
the
protocol
will
not
withdraw
the
full
amount
for
a
transfer,
even
if
you,
even
if
you
specify
the
new
amount,
so
you
can
specify
the
new
amount
and
the
current
amount
will
be
withdrawn
until
such
time
that
the
change
takes
effect.
The
other
thing
that's
happening
in
1.4,
that's
very
exciting.
Is
we
have
made
throughput
improvements,
so
block
times
will
be
half
of
what
they
are
now
so
twice
as
many
blocks
twice
as
fast
deploys
will
be
processed
much
more
quickly.
E
Presently,
I
believe,
you'll
notice,
a
slight
delay
in
deploys
getting
proposed
once
they're
from
the
time
that
they're
sent
to
the
node,
as
well
as
the
slower
block
time,
so
we're
increasing
throughput.
There
will
be
overall
in
one
minute,
more
transactions
processed
by
the
network,
but
also
two
blocks
that
we'll
be
going
through
in
one
minute.
So
those
are
the
two
really
big
notable
changes
in
1.4
development
team
is
working
on
1.5.
E
You
are
welcome
to
go
ahead
and
see
the
roadmap.
I
believe
you
can
see
the
roadmap
here
in
zenhub.
I
can
show
you
the
roadmap
here,
it's
in
actually
it's
in
github,
so
the
roadmap
is
publix
publicly
available
within
github,
and
so,
if
you
ever
want
to
understand
what
we
are
doing
quarter
over
by
quarter
for
the
casper
association,
you
can
see
this
in
the
public
roadmap
repository
here
and
it's
in
the
project.
So
I
can
share
my
screen
screen
really
quickly
for
you
casper
roadmap.
Let
me
do
that,
so
everybody
can
see.
E
So
this
isn't
casper
network,
you
go
to
road
map
and
you
just
look
at
projects,
and
here
you
can
see
what
the
what
we're
doing
in
q4.
This
is.
What
is
in
q3
is
the
1.4
release
right.
This
is
the
work
that
was
done
in
the
1.4
release
and
here
you'll
see
what
is
planned
for
the
1.5
release
and
then,
additionally,
what
is
planned
in
2.0.
F
F
From
my
side,
we'll
also
be
linking
to
that
that
information
in
the
next
association,
blog
post.
A
Okay,
thank
you,
meda.
So
if
we
move
past
the
1.4
update
very
exciting,
do
we
have
our
friends
from
the
dev
dao
to
come
and
give
us
a
little
update.
G
Everybody,
my
I'm
tim
messer,
I'm
the
program
manager
for
for
the
devex
dao.
What
exactly
that
means!
I
won't
bore
everybody
with
right
right
now,
but
the
point
is:
is
that
I
do
a
lot
of
work
work
for
for
the
collective.
G
G
We
are
a
collection
of
of
develop
developers
that
gives
grants
to
other
developers,
so
everybody
who,
who
is
who's
involved
with
the
with
the
the
hackathon
like
I
see
tons
of
amazing
ideas
coming
up
coming
out
of
there
and
I
personally
have
I
have
tried
to
make
it
a
point,
a
point
to
reach
out
to
to
as
many
folks
as
pos
as
possible,
but
I
am
only
one
person
I
can't
do.
I
can't
do
what
I
do
at
all.
G
So,
if
you
guys
are,
if
you
cats,
you
know
see
let
like
work
on
on
something
you're
really
excited
about
it.
You
think
you
think
there
there's
a
path
forward.
You
just
need
a
little
bit
of
support
to
to
bring
to
bring
your
your
vision
to
at
a
reality.
That's
one
of
the
things
that
the
dev
dao
is
here
to
help
you
out
with,
and
you
know
just
just
as
over
the
last
of
the
last
over
the
last
three
months
or
three
months
or
so.
G
We
have
been
do
doing
all
sorts
of
work
regarding
what
I
refer
to
refer
to
as
spanners
and
and
and
screwdrivers
with
regard
with
regard
to
get
that
getting
to
getting
sdks
funded
with
regard
to
getting
erc
erc
stuff
go
going,
we've
got
well,
we
got
721,
seven
one,
three,
three
seven!
G
These
are
all
things
that
that
the
that
the
device
that
has
funded
and
that
then
there's
all
there's
also
a
bunch
of
a
bunch
of
very
popular
websites
like
the
casper
holders,
with
a
website
whether
we
were
just
like
heck
yeah.
We
people
need
these
tools,
be
it
to
be
able
to
use
this
ecosystem
in
a
nice
rationalized
way
and
now
now,
what
we're
starting
to
move
into
is
not
not
quite
not
quite
skyscrapers
just
yet,
but
but
definitely
at
least
some
bigger
office
built
buildings.
G
Putting
a
lot
of
the
these
things
together,
trying
really
hard
to
focus
on
the
nft
space.
This
this
quarter
and
hey
speaking
of
the
of
this
quarters
in
since
the
since
the
the
devexcel
works
off
quarterly
fun
funding
situation.
We
just
had
more
more
funds
become
become
available.
So
now
is
the
time
to
jump
in
and
basically
be
like.
Hey
I've
been
working
on
this,
the
hackathon.
This
is
what
I've
got.
I've
got
so
so
far.
G
Really
I
really
want
to
take
it
to
the
next
level
and
and
be
a
huge
part
of
the
of
this
ecosystem.
We'd
like
we
can
help.
We
can
help
you
with
that
with
the
funding.
So
that's
basically
what
what
we're
here?
What
we're
here
to
do?
We
have
a
very
unique
a
unique
governance
model.
That's
actually
decentralized.
We
have
25
voting
associates
that
all
help
us
help
us
vet
each
particular
grant
figure
out
how
it
could,
how
it
could
work
best
and
the
most
exciting
part
about
about.
All
of
that
you
come
in.
G
You
do
work
work
for
the
casper
ecosystem.
You
benefit
that
ecosystem.
You
become
a
voting
associate
like
you
like.
We
are
always
delighted
to
get
amazing
people
in
on
our
on
our
collective
and
get
people
get
people
get
more
smart,
less
smart
people
working
with
with
us.
It
is
one
of
the
things
that
I
am
person
personally
most
passionate
about
in
our
entire
our
entire
situation
here.
G
So
you
know
like
in
term
in
terms
of
that,
so
that
that's
basically
you
know
the
the
ground,
the
groundwork
for
for
where
we
are
super
quick
update
on
what
on
what
all
has
has
happened
since
the
the
last
community
call
just
just
in
case
folks,
are
curious
about
about
that.
We've
passed
another
fistful
of
grants
with
with
regard
to
to
casper
holders.
His
net
next
features
some
and
the
o5o
compliance
token.
G
From
from
harrison,
that's
going
to
going
to
provide
provide
a
lot
of
basis
for
things
like
I'd
like
those
those
those
nft
platforms
that
were
hope
or
we're,
hoping
to
to
get
funded,
help
get
up,
get
up
and
running,
and
then
the
uniswap
club
clone
that
that
everybody
expects
to
become
become
the
backbone
to
to
the
the
d5
space
on
casper.
It
is
very,
very
close,
close
to
completion.
G
One
of
its
big
milestones
is
we're
working
its
way
through
through
the
through,
through
our
system
right
now
and
and
the
the
original
proposer.
The
the
team
leader
for
for
that
particular
grant
team
has
already
excuse
me,
has
our
already
engaged
the
security
review
so
when,
when
it's
full,
when
it's
fully
ready
to
go,
people
will
be
able
to
go
go
forward
with
that
absolutely
vital
cornerstone
of
the
community
with
some
real
confidence.
G
I
will
take
any
questions
now
from
from
the
the
text
chat,
but
if
some,
if
somebody
doesn't
have
doesn't
have
or
yeah
excuse
me
if,
if
there
are
no
questions
for
for
me,
why,
like
I'm
more
more
than
happy
to
step
off
the
stage
and
leave,
leave
everybody
with
just
the
link
to
to
our
telegram
chat
telegram,
is
how
how
the
dxd
primer
primarily
operates.
We're
always
happy
to
see
more
people
in
there.
A
I
don't
think
maker
here.
If
not,
then
we
can
yeah
michael's
not
in
the
call.
So,
unfortunately,
we're
gonna
have
to
skip
past
the
make
update,
but
we'll
see
if
we
can
get
michael
from
make
back
next
week
to
give
the
update
other
than
that.
I
believe,
if
we
don't
do,
we
have
any
questions
from
the
community
we
can.
We
can
try
and
answer
anything
any
questions
you
may
have
and
definitely
be
sure
to
check
out
the
dev
dao
on
telegram
join
over
there.
C
Joe
yeah,
this
is
ralph
from
the
casper
association.
I
can
definitely
elaborate
a
little
bit
on
what
is
going
on
on
the
casper
association
side,
and
maybe
joe
benzo
can
elaborate
on
some
of
his
initiatives.
You
will
see
a
lot
more
presence
in
marketing
channels.
Maybe
the
first
item
is,
as
you
all
know,
the
casper
association
is
an
association.
C
The
infrastructure
for
membership
application
is
currently
being
finalized
and
we
will
be
in
beta
version
in
the
course
of
and
october
will
ask
specific
validators
that
you
know
have
been
participating
early
on
in
the
network
to
kind
of
like
test
the
platform,
and
you
know
verify
that
everything
works
as
it's
supposed
to
be,
and
then
we
will
open
this
up
for
any
validate
or
to
become
a
member
of
the
casper
association
by
the
end
of
november,
so
to
speak.
C
That
will
let
the
public
actually
look
at
that
will
let
the
public
look
at
the
at
some
relevant
information
on
the
network,
but,
of
course,
also
from
the
validators
in
order
to
pick
validators
and
who
to
delegate
to
etc
and
also
the
association
will
expose
certain
apis
both
for
the
use
of
validators,
but
also
for
the
use
of
the
public
on
an
ongoing
basis
to
really
understand
more
what
is
going
on
on
the
network.
So
that
is
on
the
network
and
the
validator
side.
Then
maybe
on
the
marketing
side.
C
F
Okay,
great,
so
we're
really
excited
we've
heard
from
the
community
that
we
do
want
some
more
activity,
just
in
terms
of
what's
going
on
community
outreach,
and
so
we
are
in
the
process
of
updating
some
of
our
channels,
which
includes
youtube,
and
we
are
going
to
start
an
initiative
with
our
newsletters
that
we're
really
excited
about.
It's
going
to
include
some
really
nice
incentives
for
people,
especially
those
that
are
interested
in
nfts.
B
F
That
casper
can
play
in
this
ecosystem,
and
so
we
have
some
initiatives
that
includes
some
benefits
to
to
users
and
and
people
that
are
exploring
the
casper
ecosystem
to
explore
nfts
on
our
ecosystem,
with
artists
that
are
very
active
and
well
known
in
the
space,
and
we
look
forward
to
explaining
and
sharing
what
what
we're
doing
in
in
in
that
area.
We're
also
happy
to
announce
that
there
are
some
projects
that
it
looks
very
promising
out
of
the
git
coin.
F
Hackathon
nft
marketplace
is
being
built
as
well
from
the
devex
dow.
We
understand
there's
a
lot
of
activity
around
nfts,
and
so
we
think
there's
a
huge
potential
for
that
going
forward
and
we're
looking
forward
to
expanding
the
the
awareness
of
of
nfts
on
the
casper
ecosystem.
F
A
If
we
don't
have
michael
from
make
here,
I
think
we've
gone
for
everything
for
today,
so
I
believe
we
can
wrap
this
up
exciting
times
ahead
with
everything
going
on
on
the
casper
network
and
we
look
forward
to
sharing
it
all
with
you
in
the
coming
weeks
and
in
months,
a
long
long,
road
ahead,
so
lots
of
great
stuff
in
the
pipeline.
So
I'll
close
off
thanks
everyone
for
joining.
We
appreciate
you
we'll
be
here
again.
A
Every
every
other
tuesday
so
expect
a
gap
week
next
tuesday
and
then
we'll
be
back
the
following
tuesday,
we'll
we'll
share
more
details
of
the
call
and
how
you
can
join
and
get
involved,
and
thank
you
again
for
joining
appreciate
everyone.
Forgive.
A
G
My
understanding
is,
that
is
that
validator
apis
are
refer
referring
to
something
something
with
a
1.4
update.
I
might
be
wrong
about
about
that.
Killian.
You
may
need
to
clarify.
C
C
These
are
apis
that
expose
certain
key
information
both
on
validators
but
also
on
the
network
and
the
activity
of
validators
on
the
network
and
basically
the
state
certain
states,
those
are
either
being
finalized
or
have
been
finalized,
and
they
will
be
exposed
for
validators
for
the
use
of
validate
or
for
the
use
of
validators.
Who
will
become
members
of
the
association
they
will
be
exposed
to
the
members
of
the
association.
