We
will
discuss
the
recent
partnership
between
casper
labs
and
shift
network,
and
we
are
to
join
today
by
ralph,
piatt
and
ashok
from
casper
labs,
we're
also
joined
by
our
friends
and
guests
over
at
shift
network
juan
and
chris,
who
will
talk
with
us
about
our
recent
partnership
and
we
will
open
up
for
a
q
a
towards
the
end
of
the
call,
and
you
can
leave
your
questions
and
comments
in
the
youtube
live
feed
here
or
on
our
telegram
channel
thanks
everyone
for
tuning
in
this
week
and
handing
it
off
to
you.
Ralph.
B
Well,
thank
you
joe.
I
appreciate
that
I'm
very
excited
that
we
continue
our
series
here
with
partners
and
applications
in
the
ecosystem,
specifically
also
around
financial
services
and
enabling
you
know,
financial
transactions.
So
with
that
I'm
handing
over
to
kyot
with
respect
to
an
update
and
then,
of
course,
for
the
discussion
with
our
guests
today.
C
Thank
you
very
much
ralph,
so
I
will
switch
to
my
page
where
I
collect
all
the
information
from
the
past
week
and
update
you
also
a
little
bit
about
the
plans
for
the
future.
So
as
a
team,
casper
team
wrap
is
wrapping
up
the
fifth
weekly
sprint
of
1.3
cycle,
it's
a
little
bit
unusual.
C
Usually
we
are
wrapping
up
this
in
the
fourth
sprint,
but
since
we
are
switching
to
quarterly
release
in
june,
we
use
this
time
to
to
prepare
for
that
and
also
to
make
sure
that
one,
two
three
so
the
third
major
upgrade
will
be
up
and
running
as
scheduled
as
for
now,
the
development
work
is
still
taking
place.
So
we'll
update
you
with
exact
dates
for
the
testnet
and
the
mainnet
upgrade
in
a
very
near
future.
C
C
I
think
we
are
slowly
hitting
the
100
000
block
height.
Let's
just
check
it
live
so
using
our
casper
life
site.
You
see
that
we
are
now
and
at
98
000
block
height,
we
have
87
active
valuators
and
over
3.7
billion
cspr
tokens
take.
C
What
is
what
is
following
is
the
the
details
about
the
domain
work
that
is
being
done
by
our
expert
at
casper
labs,
so
on
a
highway
the
protocol
work,
we
are
still
implementing
the
cp48,
so
the
new
synchronizer.
This
cp
is
available
in
our
on
our
github
repository.
So
all
the
proposals
or
enhancements
major
enhancements,
they
are
described
there
in
a
well-defined
fashion.
C
So
we
are
also
able
to
see
what
is
the
current
progress
and
what
will
be
the
shape
of
the
of
the
blockchain
in
the
future
and
on
the
note
side,
we
are
fixing
some
tests
server
side.
We
also
enhancing
the
deploy
acceptor
to
validate
associated
keys.
So
these
links
are
active
links.
They
are
pointing
you
to
github
issues.
Very
recently,
the
team
has
moved
from
jira
to
github
just
to
provide
better
visibility
for
the
community
in
terms
of
the
the
ongoing
work
and
the
projects
test
and
sre
teams.
C
C
Js
sdk
is
about
to
be
released,
so
we
will
have
both
the
the
new
version
that
that
is
that
contains
some
of
the
breaking
changes,
as
well
as
the
stable
version
available
for
the
community
will
be
supporting
both
version
and
the
old
version
for
a
while
just
make
sure
that
everybody
will
be
transitioning
smoothly
to
the
new
model
on
the
casper
signer
ui
ux
enhancements
are
ongoing.
C
We
are
preparing
for
ux
audit
with
designer,
with
the
help
of
make
company
and
then
starting
from
july
in
q3,
we
signer
will
be
heavily
redesigned
to
make
sure
that
it
looks
modern
and
it
is
user-friendly.
C
We
are
also
finalizing
the
last
items
on
from
the
concept
audit.
This
is
both
valid
for
casper
signer
and
our
contract
runtime
with
contract
right
time.
We
are
also
finalizing
merging
the
pr
about
local
keys
or
dictionary,
as
we
call
it
and
then
moving
on
economics
research.
I
would
head
over
to
alexander
to
get
us
a
little
bit
more
details
on
his
work.
D
All
right
so
well,
currently,
we
are
continuing
to
work
on
gas
posts,
recalculations
and
actually
some
gas
cost
accounting
for
one
of
our
partners
and
additionally,
we
are
starting
to
work
on
some
preliminary
reviews
of
different
option
formats
for
yet
another
one
of
our
partners,
but
yeah.
That's
that's
it!
For
this
week,.
C
C
We
strongly
encourage
you
to
to
visit
this
place,
to
also
to
join
the
meeting.
That
is
just
after
our
committee
call.
The
link
is
also
provided
here.
Wolf
are
you
with
us.
B
If
no
one,
maybe
I
can
jump
in
briefly,
you
know
yeah.
E
G
C
F
F
So
yeah
so
from
the
defects.
Now
we
have
made
in
the
last
few
weeks
several
technical
upgrades
to
the
to
the
portal,
which
allows
all
grant
participants
and
grant
applicants
to
make
changes
to
their
grant
application
forms
during
the
deliberation
period,
we
have
now
established
a
tracking
system
that
allows
to
participants
to
follow
these.
These
changes
and,
at
the
same
time,
we're
still
operating
within
the
usual
five
five
five
intervals.
F
So
we
have
five
days
of
deliberations,
five
days
of
informal
voting
in
five
days
for
formal
voting,
and
we
are,
we
now
have
a
pipeline
of
over
70
grand
applications
and
every
week
we
get
more
so
in
order
to
accommodate
the
increasing
demand.
F
What
we
are
voting
on
on
to
to
consider
changing
is
the
the
quorum
requirement.
F
Sorry,
the
the
post
quorum
finalization
of
a
of
an
informal
vote,
so
in
other
words,
if
you
re,
if
we
reach
a
quorum
before
the
usual
five
days
on
an
informal
vote,
we
will
send
out
a
notification
to
the
rest
of
the
of
the
dao
community
to
inform
them
that
they
have
another
eight
hours
to
participate
in
the
vote,
because
there
was
already
a
quorum
and
that
allows
us
to
accelerate
the
process
incrementally
and-
and
I
think
that
we
will
be
able
to
to
increase
our
our
grant
application
processing.
F
Having
said
that,
this,
this
this
upgrade
is
not
has
not
become
necessary
because
we
we
are
not
processing.
I
mean
we're
processing
between
five
and
ten
grand
every
week
now,
but
we
want
to
make
make
sure
that
we
can
step
it
up
if
and
when
the
the
pipeline
is
growing.
That's
why
we're
making
and
considering
these
changes.
F
So,
having
said
that,
we
we
have
a
lot
of
casper
grants
in
there
and
many
also
high
priority
build
outs.
We
are
now
talking
about
several
d5
projects.
We've
talked
about
several
decks
and
amm
applications,
so
it's
a
very
broad
diversity
of
projects,
but
most
are
being
built
on
on
casper.
At
this
point
happy
to
answer
any
questions.
If
people
have
further
questions.
C
Great
to
hear
this
good
news
from
your
side
ralph,
you
would
like
to
add
something
on
top
of
this.
H
You
know
I
don't
know
if
it
is
going
to
be
announced
yet
well.
We
we
have
our
regular
tuesday
meetings
that
that
occur
about
an
hour
after
this
actually
at
7
pm,
cest,
making
sure
that
that
link's
there
so
come
join
us.
There
also
make
sure
you
hit
up
the
devex
telegram
chat
for
all
the
information,
but
I
was
asked
yesterday
and
I
believe,
we're
finalizing
a
a
ama
that
will
be
going
on
this
week
in
the
casper
telegram
chat.
H
So
I
know
that
there
will
be
a
much
larger
announcement
for
that
and
the
timing
is
all
being
worked
out,
but
pay
attention
in
the
casper
chat,
if
you're
in
there,
for
an
ama
that
we'll
be
having
and
answering
questions
about,
but
some
of
the
things
that
we're
we're
looking
at
right
now
and
some
of
the
things
that
we
are
are
working
on
specifically
that
I'm
interested
in
right.
H
Now
the
the
transpiler
work
that's
going
on
there's
kind
of
two
separate
ways
of
looking
at
the
standard
contracts
that
we
need
that
are
standardized
and
used,
whether
it
be
token
contracts
like
the
erc
20
or
the
777,
the
the
nft
style
contracts
like
the
721
or
the
1155,
we're
kind
of
going
at
them
in
a
few
different
ways.
H
We've
got
some
grants
that
are
just
for
tr
working
with
the
transpiler
and
making
sure
that
when
migrating,
when
other
users
migrate,
a
standard
from
the
ethereum
solidity
contract
world
that
you'll
have
expected
results
while
using
the
transpiler.
So
there
are
some.
There
are
a
few
groups
that
are
working
on
migrating
contracts.
Then
looking
at
the
transpiler
and
trying
to
add
to
the
to
the
to
the
use
of
the
transpiler,
and
then
there
are
other
groups
that
are
working
on.
H
You
know
you
kind
of
call
these.
You
know
translated
the
contracts,
but
that
might
use
additional
the
additional
additional
abilities
in
the
in
the
casper
ecosystem.
So
these
will
be
natively
written
rust
contracts
that
will
be
similar
in
use
to
the
you
know
nfc
or
tokenized
contracts.
So
those
are
all
being
many
of
those
are
being
worked
on
now.
H
Many
of
those
were
the
the
kind
of
these
early
grants
that
had
been
passed,
and
you
know
you
need
these
building
blocks
to
go
and
complete
the
other
things
that
people
are
interested
in
doing
like
the
the
ido
marketplaces
and
the
nft
marketplaces,
and
you
know
now
that
we're
bringing
some
people,
I'm
sure
wolf
mentioned
it
or
may
have
we've
been
working
with
some
liquidity
providers
and
looking
at
different
grants.
H
For
you
know
these
cross
protocol
liquidity
bridges
that
are
really
interesting
as
well,
so
some
of
that
stuff's
really
starting
to
light
up,
I'm
not
sure
if
we
could
announce
the
well
there's,
there's
a
couple,
great
ones
that
are
coming
on
board.
So
looking
forward.
H
Where
it's
at
right
now
and
if
you're
looking
at
building
we've,
also
had
some
great
validator
tools
come
up
recently,
which
is
really
cool
and
then
like
we're,
seeing
these
different
we're
seeing
these
different
communities
emerge
from
you
know
globally
in
different
spaces,
and
I'm
super
excited
about
that
right.
One
of
the
I'll
just
leave
it
here
with
this
one.
One
of
the
things
that
most
excited
me
over
the
last
you
know
month
was
the
discovery
of
this
radical
turkish.
H
You
know
community
that
has
emerged
during
the
test
net
phase,
so
we
have
this.
You
know
this.
This
incentivized
test
net
that
was
going
on
and
there
were
there
were
a
few
people
that
were
consistently
showing
up
on
our
tuesday
calls
that
didn't
say
much
didn't
ask
many
questions
but
yeah
as
I
drilled
down
and
getting
to
know
one
of
them.
H
You
know
I
had
discovered
that
he
was
the
an
admin
for
a
telegram
chat
for
a
turkey
community,
a
specifically
a
casper
turkey
community
that
was
over
500
people.
Strong
and
like
you
know,
the
messages
streaming
and
videos
of
educational
materials
flowing,
and
that
was
just
so
exciting
to
me
and
and
teaching
them
how
the
tools
work
and
how
to
apply,
and
now
we've
got
them
coming
in
for
some
translation
grants
and
that's
just
really
exciting
to
see
the
communities
emerge
in
in
that
way,
and
there
have
been
a
couple
of
those
as
well.
H
We
had
some
some
tools
that
people
are
building
for
better
validator
use
and
web
wallet
use
on
some
that
were
really
really
great.
There's
the
the
the
crypto
via
community.
There
was
a
gentleman
who
had
just
you
know
I
think
up
for
vote
right
now,
but
in
the
demonstration
you
know
had
this,
you
know
finalized
tool.
H
That
was
fantastic
and
you
know
just
really
really
built
well
from
scratch,
and
you
know,
representative
of
a
lot
of
the
great
developer
talents
of
vietnam
and
looking
forward
to
you,
know
helping
you
know
further
incentivize
their
community
too,
so
really
open
stuff
over
at
devex
dao,
and
you
know
we
are
living
through
through
our
you
know.
Our
our
intention
and
use
is
to
be
able
to
distribute
value
to
developers
in
a
global
scale
if
you
know,
by
a
milestone
by
things
that
are
going
to
be
built
for
open
source.
H
So
if
you
are
capable
of
building,
you
are
motivated
to
come
build
and
you
know
we
encourage
you
to
come,
get
to
know
us.
You
know
we.
We
want
people
to
be
executing
on
things
and
getting
things
done,
you
know
we
not
everything
has
to
be
for
a
return
of
value.
Some
things
and
some
projects
are
are,
are
important
for
the
building
blocks
that
make
these
networks
exist.
So
if
you
have
tools-
and
you
have
talent-
come
speak
with
us.
C
C
I
also
extended
this
document
to
provide
you
some
interesting
links
for
the
committee
projects,
so
you
know
casper
live.
We
have
also
casper
stats,
and
recently
I
found
already
that
we
have
a
casper
token
details
and
stats.
So
here
we
have
it's
built
by
community
and
driven
by
committee.
So
very
good
news.
We
have
more
and
more
size
emerging.
As
you
said,
the
theme
a
lot
of
organic
work
available,
so
it's
it's
really
very
humbling
and
promising
for
the
future.
C
G
Good
thing
thanks
so
much
I'll
start,
the
the
so
my
name
is
chris,
I'm
the
cto
of
shift
network
and
my
background's
a
little
bit
pretty
familiar
to
anybody
in
the
crypto
space.
I
started
getting
interested
in
about
the
ethereum
and
dogecoin
era.
I
did
mining
myself.
G
I
did
some
coding
for
like
arbitrage
between
various
exchanges
before
they
had
apis
available
and
then
shortly
thereafter,
I
started
working
at
decentral
and
helped
bring
jax
to
life,
one
of
the
first
mobile
multi-coin
crypto
wallets,
and
that
was
really
fun
and
then
shortly
thereafter,
I
started
a
company
called
block
unity
with
juan
here,
and
we
formed
together
with
a
company
called
paycase,
made
the
joint
venture
that
is
shift
in
order
to
bring
compliance
with
options,
identity
with
reputation
and,
basically
a
template
for
how
we
can
work
going
forward
in
a
compliance,
regulatory
and
on-chain
space.
E
Hello:
everyone,
I'm
juan
another,
co-founder
of
shift
my
background's
a
little
bit
a
little
bit
more
traditional
for
the
traditional
world,
a
little
less
for
the
blockchain
world.
I
I'm
a
lawyer
trained
and
had
experience
practicing
corporate
securities
law
back
in
mexico.
E
Where
I,
where
I
was
born,
then
I
moved
to
canada
to
study
an
mba
and
I
stumbled
into
crypto
by
mere
chance
when
I
met
anthony
dior
back
in
2015
joined
him
as
a
consultant
and
then
took
over
as
the
ceo
and
business
development
director
managed
to
manage
that
business
for
a
while
and
then
chris
and
a
couple
more
co-founders
and
I
created
block
unity
and
joined
forces,
then
in
the
show,
this
joint
venture
with
paycase
with
joe
weinberg
from
paycase
and
created
shift.
E
G
One,
do
you
want
to
take
that
one,
or
should
I,
if
you,
if,
if
you
want
to
I'd,
love
to
okay,
so
so
the
idea
here
with
with
the
shift
in
casper
labs
partnership,
was
that
we
were
we're
chatting
together.
We've
had
some
history,
obviously,
with
being
you
know,
basically
like
friends
of
the
ethereum
project
and
a
bunch
of
its
co-founders
over
time,
and
so
structurally.
What
we're
gonna
be
working
on
together
is
what
we're
going
to
be
calling
opt-in
compliance.
G
So
this
is
to
create
a
universe
structure,
a
template
so
that
we
can
continue
using
the
the
current
tool
sets
that
we
have
in
the
d5
environment.
We
can
continue
to
work
with
the
economics
that
we've
been
used
to
in
the
d5
environment,
relating
to
things
like
cross-chain
bridges.
Composability
is
a
key
feature
and
a
key
like
basically
a
key
word
that
we're
trying
to
stick
to
which
is
effectively.
G
Can
we
create
a
situation
where
we
can
enable
everybody
to
be
comfortable
enough
to
opt
in
to
some
sort
of
kyc
or
aml
domain,
where
the
rules
are
clear
enough
for
everybody
involved
together,
whether
it's
from
the
users
to
the
people
that
are
holding
their
identity
to
the
people
that
might
be
requesting
their
identity?
For
any
number
of
reasons,
can
we
get
all
the
stuff
clear
and
transparent
in
the
ethos
of
our
particular
industry,
with
the
ability
to
also
allow
people
to
have
incentivized
opting
conditions?
G
I
say
that
we
can,
and
so
that's
what
we're
working
with
with
casper
labs,
to
really
get
into
the
the
core
primitives
of
their
operating
systems.
From
that
we
have
a
bunch
of
layer,
2
technology
that's
been
developed
for
these
particular
purposes
for
for
on-chain,
d5
composability,
and
from
that.
What
we're
going
to
be
working
with
with
casper
labs
is
to
bring
our
architecture
either
through
the
transpilers
that
were
mentioned
a
little
bit
earlier
today,
which
basically
convert
our
solidity
code
into
rust.
G
That
can
be
run
as
casper
smart
contracts
and
from
that
we're
going
to
be
taking
that
bring
it
onto
this
particular
network,
with
working
with
the
casper
labs
team,
to
figure
out
whether
or
not
we
can
bring
some
of
this
architecture
down
to
some
of
the
more
primitive
account
structures.
The
casper
labs
project
is
so
good
at
doing
and
then
potentially
integrate
this
all
the
way
across
the
various
bridging
and
composability
features
across
our
whole
ecosystem
in
the
coming
quarters.
G
Speak
at
just
a
moment
about
the
our
veriscope
product
and
how
that
could
theoretically
also
be
integrating
into
various
networks.
If
there
are,
you
know,
exchanges
that
you
use
those
preferentially.
E
Yeah
absolutely
so
veriscope
is
our
solution
to
the
travel
room.
Basically,
travel
requires
all
all
value.
Sorry,
virtual
asset
service
providers,
they
fat,
have
the
financial
action
task
force
created
a
diffusion
for
them
and
they
keep
revising
this
definition.
So
for
now,
let's
just
consider
exchanges
and
exchanges
as
virtual
asset
service
providers.
E
The
travel
requires
them
to
any
any
any
exchange
that
has
a
user
that
is
sending
tokens
to
another
user.
That
is
hosted
by
say,
another
exchange.
The
originating
exchange
has
to
know
or
has
to
kyc
the
person
kyc.
By
that
I
mean
know,
your
customer
collect
all
of
their
personal
information,
for
anti-money
laundering
purposes
has
to
know
who
the
recipient
is
now
in
blockchain
in
general
terms,
is
this
is
pretty
difficult
to
accomplish
and
exchanges,
as
we
know,
don't
necessarily
talk
to
each
other.
E
That
often
so
what
variscope
does
is
creates
a
sort
of
discoverability
layer
that
allows
an
exchange
to
see
an
address
the
recipient
address
and
see
whether
another
exchange
that
has
also
integrated
with
veriscope,
see
if
another
exchange
has
that
user
and
once
they
have
it,
they
can
communicate
quickly
and
ask.
Can
you
provide
this
information
for
this
transaction?
The
recipient
exchange
will
also
require
that
information,
knowing
that
these
two
parties
are
conducting
transactions
between
one
another,
and
it
would
just
enable
the
in
that
entire
that
entire
transaction
to
happen.
E
This
could
happen
in
this
doesn't
mean
that
it's
going
to
take
like
days
for
the
extreme
to
talk
to
each
other
and
negotiate.
This
is
that
actually
happens
almost
like
real,
real
time
veriscope
for
started
with
exchanges,
but
can
expand
widely
into
d5
and
expand
into
other
applications,
especially
as
that
definition
of
virtual
asset
service
provider
is
expanded
by
the
financial
action
task
force.
E
So
this
enables
imagine
traditional
finance
to
jump
into
d5.
Bring
bring
stronger
products
bring
a
lot
a
lot
of
real
reliability
that
we
see
sometimes
in
traditional
finance
and,
of
course,
see
a
massive
inflow
of
capital
that
just
enhances
the
entire
the
entire
space.
C
Great,
so,
can
you
tell
us
at
which
stage
this
project
is
currently.
G
The
thing
so
we
launched,
we
launched
a
base
token
a
couple
week
about
a
month
ago,
a
couple
months
ago,
actually
two
months
at
this
particular
point
on
march,
and
then
from
this.
What
we're
going
to
be
doing
is
so
we
have
a
couple
of
events
coming
up
for
one:
we've
done
a
new
upgrade
to
our
contract
infrastructure
to
more
readily
get
this
get
our
basically
our
the
nucleus
of
our
infrastructure,
these
compliant
routing
tables,
updated
and
ready
for
this
next
level
of
product
that
we've
been
discussing.
G
So
this
is
going
out
this
week.
We're
having
this
like
simple,
upgrade
format,
we're
going
to
be
having
some
really
exciting
news
in
the
next
little
bit
regarding
various
different
incentivizations
for
the
community,
as
it
goes
out
and
in
the
next
little
bit.
What
we're
going
to
be
getting
getting
ready
to
do
is
mainnet
within
the
next
with
the
next
few
weeks.
G
Time
range,
so
this
structure,
this
setup
that
we've
got
so
far,
has
enabled
us
to
both
prove
our
our
our
token
in
the
marketplace
for
a
little
bit
and
has
enabled
us
to
have
enough
time
to
set
the
mainnet
up
correctly.
G
We're
doing
some
really
interesting
things
on
the
midnight
side
as
well
in
regards
to
effectively
making
it
so
that
the
one
of
our
goal,
our
design
goals
in
our
white
paper,
was
called
a
strong
federation,
and
this
is
a
system
which
has
to
do
with
getting
the
the
general
consensus
members
into
a
more
and
more
hardened
state,
so
their
the
security
of
their
systems
is
getting
better
and
better
over
time.
G
C
Great,
yes,
I'm
just
looking
at
the
time.
We
still
have
it
of
space
here.
So
if
you
want
to
share
with
us
some
other
news,
it's
also
very
much
welcome.
If
not,
I
also
ask
our
panelists
if
they
have
any
questions
regarding
to
this
project,
it's
we
are
also
open
for
that.
So.
G
Sure
I
would
love
to
be
able
to.
If
we
have
time,
I
would
love
to
be
able
to
spend
five
minutes
to
talk
about
one
of
the
things.
That's
on
the
slide
here.
Our
bermuda
blockchain
based
national
identity
system
sure
so
so
this
product
is
like,
like
veriscope,
we
wanted
to
separate
it
from
the
main
aspect
of
the
shift
core,
which
is
to
effectively
be
working
on
blockchain
sub
blockchain
products,
things
in
that
particular
market
directly,
not
integrated
with
you
know
traditional
finance
or
traditional
identity.
G
At
the
time
we
wanted
that
to
be
blockchain
specific
with
our
periscope
product.
There
is
a
requirement
in
the
market,
obviously
for
making
sure
that
we
have
the
proper
things
on
track
on
a
regulatory
sense
from
the
top
down
on
that
area
and
then
on
the
identity
side.
What's
really
interesting
about
this
particular
process?
Is
the
standards
of
it
so
a
bit
of
history
back
in
the
2018
time
era,
the
very
first
and
what's
become
the
major
identity
standard,
the
decentralized
identity
standard
that
dids
verifiable
credentials
vcs?
G
These
are
words
keywords
in
the
identity,
space,
digital
identity
space.
At
the
moment
that
are
the
rock
solid
standards
and
back
in
2018,
these
things
were
still
under
development,
so
what
we
did
with
our
on-chain
system
and
how
it
would
connect
to
like
these
external,
more
traditional
institutional
parts,
was
we
made
simple
estimations
of
what
user
behavior
would
look
like
in
the
future,
so
that
is
to
say,
within
our
whole
identity
data
sharing
infrastructure.
G
We
also
have
extensions
to
allow
for
the
sale
of
data
itself
as
it
scales
up
to
an
actual
data
market,
as
the
actual
customer's
information
in
our
popular
belief
is
not
simply
that
exchanges
will
want
to
you
know
like
know
about
each
other's
customers,
but
because
these
communication
rails,
these
standards
are
now
put
into
place.
There
will
be
the
ability
for
the
exchanges
to
deal
with
each
other
and
other
particular
potential
products
in
the
ecosystem
on
a
referral
basis,
and
we
can
understand
how
powerful
that
could
be.
G
The
data
that
I've
been
sitting
on
is
actually
tremendously
valuable.
Why?
Because
the
ecosystem,
the
next
I'm
estimating
the
2022
2023
era,
will
be
a
lot
more
on
the
ball.
With
things
like
taxes
and
I'm
going
to
give
you
a
very
simple
example
of
where
a
data
market
that
would
interact
with
the
national
identity
system
would
really
get
some
kicks
here.
So
let's
say
we
have
a
situation
where
your
government,
as
an
end
user,
is
requiring
you
to
remit
your
all
of
your
crypto
transactions
for
tax
purposes.
G
All
of
us
in
the
industry
can
see
that
this
is
where
it's
going.
It's
a
pretty
sure
bet
that
the
government's
gonna
want
to
know
how
much
crypto
you've
been
exchanging.
That's
not
the
other
thing
for
a
lot
for
the
for
the
local
taxes,
like
any
other
capital
gains
goods
right
so
structurally.
We
know
that
this
stuff
is
going
to
happen
and
in
the
next
little
bit.
We
also
know
that
the
exchanges
are
not
going
to
be
providing
these
tax
services
in-house
there's
been
a
couple
in
canada,
for
example.
G
I
believe
there
was
one
recently
that
just
had
some
tax
issues
and
then
they
needed
to
by
law
provide
their
customers
with
effectively
a
data
room
for
them,
but
this
is
the
by
far
the
the
the
edge
case
of
what
we're
looking
at
in
this
industry
right
now,
and
we
might
see
in
the
next
couple
years,
companies
focusing
on
crypto
tax
advice
and
from
that
you
might
have
a
couple
of
different
companies
that
are
focusing
on
crypto
tax
advice
and
as
let's
go
back
to
the
operator
at
the
exchange
for
a
second,
as
the
operator
of
the
exchange,
I've
been
sitting
on
my
customers
data
for
the
last
couple
years,
only
having
it
as
a
liability.
G
That
is,
if
somebody
breaks
into
it,
I'm
liable
for
it.
If
I
don't
have
it,
I'm
liable
for
it.
If
I
don't
respond
in
time
to
people
who
are
asking
me
for
the
information
I'm
liable,
this
is
all
just
a
pearson
cost.
But
what
can
happen
is
that,
as
soon
as
there's
two
products
that
actually
would
like
to
be
able
to
tap
into
that
particular
exchange's
user
base
with
a
complimentary
product
that
the
exchange
that
operators
themselves
will
never
be
getting
into.
G
I
say
that
we
have
an
opportunity,
an
opportunity
for
a
data
market,
because
at
that
point,
that
exchange
can
offer
that
particular
crypto
tax
product,
a
choice
between
its
various
users
and
those
cryptic
products
can
now
incentivize
the
behavior
of
both
the
users
on
that
exchange
and
the
operators
of
the
exchange
themselves.
And
I
call
that
a
win
across
the
whole
market.
So,
as
our
tracks
are
going
forward
and
progressing
down.
These
various
thought
paths
of
what
the
industry
is
being
forced
to
do
we're.
G
Taking
a
look
at
this
and
seeing
out
what
else
we
can
do
for
the
ecosystem
and
ecosystem
in
general,
so
that
by
the
time
that
the
rules
are
that
are
trying
to
be
put
in
place
are
stuck
in
place.
We
have
all
these
other
additional
options
that
have
opened
up
simply
because
we
were
prepared
and
ready
for
the
time
when
these
things
would
be
necessary
and
useful
and
valuable.
C
C
No
pun
intended
all
right.
Do
you
have
any
questions
from
our
panelists.
C
And
if
not
joe
on
your
side,.
A
Not
any
questions
from
the
community
at
this
point
that
aren't
finance
related.
Sorry,
if
you
have
any
questions
guys
about
the
shift
network
team,
the
partnership
that
we
have
with
casper
labs
here,
please
let
us
know
and
we'll
get
to
those.
H
I'll
jump
in
real
quick
as
tim
lewis,
the
the
right
now
and
they're
used
to
working
on
things,
but
are
there
any
exchanges
that
you
guys
have
begun
discussions.
E
So
right
now,
most
of
the
exchanges
that
are
working
with
us
are
on
on
are
testing
the
pilot.
But
one
thing
one
important
thing
to
consider
about
periscope
is
that
we
built
it
in
sort
of
a
sort
of
a
decentralized
product
kind
of
way
with
that
this
means
that
periscope
is
governed
by
a
task
force
or
its
policies,
its
rules
and
the
way
that
it
works
is
governed
by
a
task
force
and
that
task
force
is
composed
of
key
liquidity
providers
in
the
space.
E
Some
of
them
are
tether
and
then
there's
so
there's
a
whole
a
whole.
We
made
an
announcement
about
who's
who's
participant
in
this
task
force,
and
it's
also
led
by
two
key
members,
former
fataf
members
and
compliance
experts.
We
have
sorry
rick,
mcdonnell
and
jose
nadeau.
E
They
are
amazing
people
and
have
guided
us
through
this
entire
experience,
so
much
so
that
periscope
was
able
to
reply
to
a
fedex,
open
consultation
on
the
under
new
expanded
guidance
and
there
and
then
we're
just
waiting
like
we've,
been
engaging
with
the
authorities
to
to
show
this
now
once
chef
goes
live
and
we
we
progress
this.
This
pilot
and
this
testing
out
of
periscope
and
we
we
enhance,
of
course,
some
of
the
product
offerings.
We
do
expect
exchanges
to
turn
it
into
a
regular,
a
regular
tool
for
for
the
compliance.
A
Okay,
I.
G
A
A
Okay,
thank
you
for
everyone
who
tuned
in
to
watch
or
listen
to
this
community
call
today.
Thank
you,
juan
and
chris

us.
I'm
very
excited
about
the
partnership
we've
got
going
here
and
we
look
forward
to
having
you
back
in
the
future
as
guests.
Again
thanks
to
everyone

you
liked
it
and
we'll
see
you
again
next
tuesday,
thanks
