From YouTube: Casper Association Community Call
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
B
Hi
everyone,
joe
davis
here
community
director
at
the
casper
association
wishing
you
all
a
good
day
and
thank
you
for
joining
in
to
our
community
call
this
week
today.
So
the
call
is
hosted
by
the
casper
association
and
on
this
week's
call,
where
we
will
discuss
our
partnership
between
casper
labs
and
quest
global
we're
joined
by
piazz
ashok
from
casper
labs
and
ann
kush
from
quest.
B
Thank
you
for
joining
and
kush
towards
the
end
of
the
call
we're
going
to
open
up
for
a
q
a
where
you
can
ask
quest
and
casper
labs
some
questions
you
can
drop.
The
questions
here,
live
on
our
youtube
channel
and
we'll
try
our
best
to
answer
them
or
you
can
leave
them
on
our
telegram
chat
and
we'll
do
our
best
to
get
to
those.
So
thank
you
all
for
joining
in
and
handing
it
off
to
you.
Piant.
A
Thank
you
very
much
joe
and
let's
start
I'm
bill
jeubsche,
I'm
vp
of
ecosystem
development
and
program
manager
at
casper
association.
Today
we
have
two
major
parts
of
the
presentation.
So
first
I
will
start
with
technical
update
on
the
current
progress
and
development
and
then
we'll
move
towards
our
topic
of
this
week.
Committee
meeting.
A
A
As
as
a
team
development
team,
we
are
working
on
1.3
release
cycle
that
would
mark
the
third
major
release
for
the
casper
network.
This
release
is
focusing
on
the
stability
and
robustness
of
the
network.
We
are
bringing
some
minor
features
and
the
most
prominent
one
is
to
improve
the
local
case.
Behavior.
That
would
reduce
the
memory
footprint
and,
as
the
team
is
working
on
this,
the
current
calendar
looks
the
following.
So
we
have
the
third
sprint
open.
A
We
assume
that
there
will
be
one
more
sprint
in
order
to
finish
the
feature
work
so
we'll
be
landing.
The
the
upgrades
one
week
one
week
later,
but
overall
we
are
still
within
the
our
perceived
time
schedule.
So,
as
we
will
end
the
release
development
will
start
the
internal
tests.
They
will
last
around
two
weeks.
After
that,
the
network
will
be
stable
on
our
internal
systems.
A
As
for
the
current
status,
looking
at
the
csp
live,
we
are,
we
just
hit
the
80
000
block
height.
We
have
78
validators
and
the
following
numbers.
On
the
total
stake
bonded.
A
We
had
some
questions
about
1.2
upgrades,
so
almost
all
validators
upgraded
to
the
1.2.
We
have
only
four
validators
left.
So
if
you
are
running
validator,
not
just
check
with
us,
we
can
help
you
to
go
through
the
upgrade
process
as
well.
A
So
looking
at
the
github,
we
released
the
the
1.2
the
binaries,
so
they
are
available
available
on
our
github
casper
node
repository
there.
You
can
also
check
the
technical
release
notes.
Very
similar
content
has
been
published
via
various
channels
on
social
media,
to
announce
all
the
changes
that
we
introduced
with
1.2.
A
A
We
are
also
working
on
the
several
bug
fixes
that
we
are
find
during
the
testing
sessions
test
and
sre
is
focused
on
the
supporting
of
the
network
release
our
validators
and
the
community
in
general.
We
are
also
intensively
working
on
nctl,
which
is
our
internal
testing
framework,
where
we
can
spawn
very
easily
the
various
configuration
of
the
of
the
network
and
test
some
features
in
isolation.
A
Ecosystem
is
very
much
busy
with
supporting
the
exchanges
and
we
are
we.
We
did
several
releases
of
the
casper
signer,
so
we
already
announced
today
another
patch
for
1.0
release
when
we
reintroduced
the
ability
to
import
the
accounts
to
the
via
the
extension.
So
please
check
it
for
yourself.
A
If
you
have
any
issues,
we
also
have
an
open,
github
repository
where
you
can
issue
bugs
and
ask
us
a
question,
so
we
are
very
much
open
to
new
initiatives
as
well
for
jsdk,
we
are
still
watching
the
the
feedback
from
the
community
on
the
big
pr
that
we
prepared
so
1.5,
and
this
will
be
soon
validated
and
merged,
so
that
will
also
mark
a
new
stage
on
the
js
sdk
development.
C
Yes,
all
right
so
well.
The
first
two
points
pertain
to
the
continuing
work
on
gas
posts.
Second,
one
is
actually
done
and
I'm
still
working
on
the
first
one
great
so
otherwise.
The
third
bullet
point
pertains
to
seminars
that
I'm
preparing
for
tomorrow
that
relates
strategic
behavior
in
the
validator
auctions
to
platform
stability,
great.
C
Yes,
so
we
have
had
two
new
members
joins
the
clouds
team
over
the
last
two
weeks.
I
think
maybe
both
of
them.
Well,
I
suppose
one
of
them
was
on
the
call
to
play
with
us.
Alexander
novozilla
joins
us
as
an
intern
and
we'll
be
working
on.
You
know,
strategic
research
of
you
know
other
platforms
so
that
we
can,
you
know,
learn
from
their
experiences
their
feature
sets
and
and
so
forth.
C
Additionally,
we
have
had
ziki
join
us
last
week
as
a
full-time
economist
and
after
he's
on
board
is
complete.
He
will
be
working
most
likely
these.
You
know
various
partner
integration
initiatives
where
tokenization
is
developed
great.
A
D
Peter,
it's
good
to
see
you
guys
so
we're
processing
grants.
This
is
just
this
part
of
what
we
were
excited
to
launch
a
few
several
weeks
ago
and
now
the
voting,
the
the
voting
associates,
have
kind
of
gotten
used
to
the
grant,
processing
guidelines
and
and
system.
So
again,
for
those
who
do
not
know,
devex
dao
is
a
autonomous
organization
that
is
legally
wrapped
dow
through
a
non-profit
based
in
zug,
casper
labs,
casper
association
was
our
and
is
our
founding
donor
to
push
forward
grants.
D
Our
system
is
set
up,
basically
as
a
prediction
market
for
for
for
grants,
we're
looking
for
those
that
want
to
build,
build
by
milestone
and
and
and
build
interesting
things
that
will
be
open
source,
and
so
we
have
a
portal
set
up
to
to
process
grant
applications,
as
well
as
a
very
lively
telegram
channel.
That
telegram
chat
is
at
devx
dao,
so
at
devxdao,
and
then
go
to
devxdao.com
to
check
out
the
application,
but
we're
we
are
getting
some
interesting
applications
right
now.
You
know
several
of
them
are
dow
related.
D
We
have
a
an
amazing
community
of
machine
learning
engineers
that
that
have
applied
for
a
really
incredible
dow
initiative,
so
super
excited
about
that.
We
have
a
number
of
other
things,
a
lot
of
them
based
around
the
transpiler.
D
So
a
lot
of
standards,
porting
standards,
the
some
of
the
erc
standards,
the
erc
777
1155
and
several
others,
including
the
1337..
So
so
looking
forward
to
getting
a
lot
of
these
standardized
and
moved
over
but
come
join
us
at
devexdel.
A
Great
and
don't
forget
that
I
hope
today
there's
still
the
meeting
the
the
weekly
meeting.
That
devdao
is.
A
D
You
for
reminding
me
yeah,
it
says:
come
join
us
in
that
devex
now
post
this
call.
We
have
a
a
community
call
for
devex
style,
so
every
tuesday,
just
after
this
call
we
host
our
own
and
it's
a
great
roundtable
for
developers.
So
if
you
are
developing
in
the
ecosystem,
come
join
us
and
and
see
who's.
Who
else
is
building
thanks
for
the
reminder,
peter.
A
Great
thank
you
very
much.
I
can
confirm
I've
been
there
great
atmosphere.
Also,
the
portal
looks
great
and
from
what
I
understand
like
most
of
the
content
that
is
being
created
by
the
by
the
community,
it
will
be
licensed
on
open
source
license,
so
this
will
be
also
boosting
the
the
other
projects
so
very,
very,
very
exciting.
Initiative.
E
I
think
we
should
add
the
link
to
the
devnot
call
in
sure.
A
F
Yeah
hi
everyone.
This
is
akush
here
pleasure
to
be
here,
and
I
am
part
of
quest
global,
a
company
into
software
as
well
as
industrial
engineering.
It's
a
services
company
offering
services
to
a
lot
of
mechanical
industrial
companies,
and
today,
a
lot
of
that
is
moving
towards
digital
enabler.
F
So
I
take
care
of
this
insider
of
technology
solution,
implementations
at
quest-
and
you
know
for
us
very
happy
to
be
part
of
this
association
with
casper
labs,
where
we
are
together
evaluating
one
of
the
fundamental
problems
that
our
industrial
customers,
you
know
who
are
who
are
working
across
the
globe
with
multiple
suppliers
and
trying
to
figure
out
some
credibility
into
their
components.
Parts,
and
now
you
know,
when
covert
happens
again,
it
adds
another
burden.
So
we
are
very
excited
about.
F
F
So
yeah
right,
so
I
think
I
just
I
just
covered
this
one,
but
you
know
primarily
quest
global
is,
is
more
than
20
year
old
organization
and
serving
various
industry
verticals.
So
we
are
organized
as
the
ones
was
serving
to
various
industrial
verticals
and
when
we
say
we're
in
the
vertical
side,
we
are
doing
the
product
engineering
play
on
the
ot
side
as
well
as
we
are
implementing
the
software
side
resolutions
as
well.
So
the
primary
area
that
we
are
aerospace
and
defense
is
very
present.
F
Automotive,
then
energy
is
power
and
high
tech
is
pretty
much.
The
software
piece.
Medical
device
is
again
a
separate
vertical
that
we
look
after
catering
to
healthcare
devices.
Rail
comes
from
the
transport
side
and
then
the
semiconductor
industries,
where
we
are
working
on
a
lot
on
the
hardware
side,
vlsi
and
things
like
that
on
onset
design
site.
So
you
can
think
of
right
from
industrial
company
to
a
chipset
to
a
complete
software.
F
We
get
it
to
end
to
end,
and
today,
as
we
are
moving
toward
the
cyber
physical
world,
these
boundaries
are
are,
are
diminishing
at
a
much
faster
pace.
So
we
have
to
be
innovative,
we
have
to
be
very
active
and
we
have
to
see
that
how
we
are
landing,
the
most
optimized
solutions
to
the
a
lot
of
problems,
which
probably
are
getting
first
time
solved
on
the
industrial
side
using
using
software.
E
Yeah,
absolutely
and
and
if
you
look
at
the
industries
that
quest
is
currently
working
in
and
then
you
see
aerospace,
you
see
medical
devices,
there
is
a.
There
is
an
inherent
need
for
security
and
safety
associated
with
those
and
provenance
of
say
spare
parts
and
and
the
devices
it's
really
important.
E
And
that's
that's
one
of
the
use
cases
that
we
are
working
on.
You
know,
as
as
a
as
a
starting
point
in
a
collaboration,
yeah,
absolutely
sure
so,
maybe
uncle.
If
you
could.
If
you
could
talk
about
like
what
problems
we
could.
We
could
target
in
the
next
couple
of
months
that
we
are
collaborating
as
as
priority
on
your
side
to
solve.
F
Sure
so
you
know
we
are
looking
at,
let's
say,
complex
equipments
when
they
are
being
made,
the
the
components
come
globally
and
come
from
various
vendors
right
and
then
let's,
let's
take
an
example
as
a
building
building
a
plane
itself
right.
So
when
a
plane
is
being
made
multiple
components
shipped
across
from
across
the
globe
from
multiple
oems,
and
there
are
two
challenges.
F
One
is
comparing
that
with
respect
to
the
original
contracts,
those
get
signed
while
sourcing
them
or
while
finalizing
the
the
suppliers-
and
the
second
part,
is
tracking
the
delivery
of
those
and
the
third
most
complex
part
is
planning
your
your
equipment
build
up
or
the
plane
builder,
with
respect
to
the
parts
arrival
right.
So
they
have
various
moving
opponents
and
when
you
add
the
complexity
of
that,
the
number
of
vendors
are
large.
The
number
of
vendors
are
completely
across
the
globe.
F
Then
probably
you're
doing
these
assemblies
also
at
multiple
points
before
the
final
is
gonna
be
happening
at
one
right.
So
so
so
things
that
are
missing
our
you
know:
transparency
checking
back
into
what
was
agreed,
how
it
was
agreed
and
what
was
planned
with
respect
to
component
arrival
integration
and
the
final
perfect
production
right
so
and
when
I
translate
this
into,
let's
say
one
of
the
technological
part
that
we're
looking
at
with
casper
right.
F
It
becomes
a
perfect
example
of
multiple
parties,
committing
their
own
roles,
committing
timelines
to
one
single
part,
two
to
one
unit
and
then
one
unit
getting
complete
transparency
into
their
arrival
so
that
they
can
ensure
that
their
shop
flows
are
better
utilized
for
production
and,
if
there's
any
changes
that
happen,
how
does
the
whole
chain
get
impacted
impacted
and
they
can
plan
right.
So
this
has
a
revenue
impact.
This
has
efficiency
impact.
F
So
if
you
look
at
what
a
solution
like
this
built
on
a
casper
solution
for
for
suppliers
where
the
roi
lies,
I
think
the
answers
are
pretty
straightforward
right.
So
is
this
something
that
we
are
retrofitting
blockchain
a
need
that
we
have?
I
think
this
is
one
of
the
perfect
fits
that
we
are
seeing
in
the
industry.
We
have
worked
in
the
problem
that
we
see
last
few
years
and
we
try
to
build
ourselves,
for
you
know
using
some
other
solution.
F
I
think
it's
it's
a
perfect
solution
where
solves
problems
of
a
lot
of
people
and
brings
in
lots
and
lots
of
efficiency
into
the
system.
E
Yeah,
fantastic
and,
and
we
at
casper,
our
focus
from
the
very
beginning
from
very
inception,
was
to
be
able
to
solve
these
critical
challenges
that
enterprises
face
and
it
it
is
great
to
really
you
know,
partner
with
renowned
enterprises
like
quest
and
trying
to
solve
the
real
world
problems,
and
that's
where
I
think
casper
really
scores.
F
Absolutely
absolutely-
and
you
know
we
are
looking
forward
to
show
that
built
in
a
way
that
technology
on
the
implementation
complexity
is
hidden
from
employment
right.
So
that's
what
we
would
like
to
work
on
and
again
it
should
not
be.
There
should
be
a
zero
hindrance
to
adoption,
because
it
involves
multiple,
multiple
player
and
multiple
enterprise
environments
and
renewable
challenges.
When
we
talk
about
today,
enterprise
software
right.
F
So
how
do
I
ensure
that
I
give
a
give
a
very
thin
layer
across
top
quality
and
we
can
go
on
top
of
every
enterprise
given
there
would
be
in
between
of
their
migration
journeys
or
or
hybrid
cloud
journeys,
or
you
know
in
different
states
they
can
be.
But
how
do
I
ensure
that
when
I'm
talking
to
this
multiple
player
impacted
supply
solution?
How
do
I
so
that's
going
to
define
the
success
of
implementation,
and
we
are
very
confident
that
you
know
this
is
that's
something
you're
going
to
learn
absolutely.
E
I
mean
the
the
technological
complexity
should
be
almost
invisible
and
hidden
from
the
user
experience
that
that
should
always
be
the
goal,
and
I
think
we
are
we
have
prepared,
for
you
know,
meeting
that
challenge
absolutely
cool.
So,
in
terms
of
the
timelines,
we
are
working
very
closely.
We
will
have
real
projects
planned
out
and
delivered.
E
We
are
aiming
this
year
itself,
so
you'll
see
a
lot
of
progress
and
you
know
more
concrete
examples
coming
out,
maybe
as
blogs
or
case
studies
and
as
well.
As
you
know,
we
can
come
back
to
come
back
to
this
community
call
later
a
couple
of
months
down
the
line
with
a
concrete
solution
that
we
have
put
together.
E
Absolutely
looking
forward
to
that,
I
think
that's!
That's
probably
all
that
we
could
talk
about
quest
anything
else
that
you
want
to
talk
about
from
the
network
side.
A
I
think
that
we,
we
went
through
all
the
major
points,
so
if
we
have
any
questions
from
the
community,
let's
see
if
we
can
answer
them.
B
Thanks
fiat,
I
have
one
question
here
that
says:
greetings
I
have
been:
do
you
have
any
updates
on
the
coin
market
cap
situation
without
with
updating
the
having
them
accept
the
general
market
cap
for
cspr
and
and
vaguely?
And
briefly
with
that
situation
we
are
a
talking
decline,
market
cap
and
hopefully
that
will
be
resolved
this
week
and
again
we'll
keep
you
all
updated
on
that
situation.
B
I
see
another
question
here:
when
can
we
stake
our
coins
easily
and
in
last
week's
community
call?
We
touched
on
a
guide,
that's
currently
being
created
that
will
guide
users
through
staking.
A
From
from
what
I
know,
we
are
still
working
on
this,
so
we
we
are
not
able
yet
to
give
the
exact
dates,
but
this
is
like
the
on
the
final
stage
of
the
development.
This
search.
B
B
E
B
