F
G
This
position
that
we
would
like
to
officially
post
and
put
in
place
is
called
the
student
service
coordinator,
which
this
position
would
oversee
our
mtss,
which
is
multi-tiered
System
of
support,
and
what
does
that
mean?
I
know.
It
means
that
we
have
used
the
word
mtss
consistently
in
our
district,
and
all
districts
are
using
mtss.
It
is
a
state
mandated
level
or
system
of
support
that
should
be
provided
to
students,
foreign.
G
Tier
2
and
tier
3
supports
tier
one.
Tier
2
and
tier
3
are
supports
that
are
in
place
for
students
at
the
various
levels.
The
intensity
Inc
of
support
increases,
as
you
increase
in
the
tier.
These
supports
are
for
students
for
all
areas
for
academics,
reading
math
instruction,
Behavior
social
skills.
These
are
levels
of
support
that
students
might
need
in
order
for
them
to
meaningfully
progress
in
their
education
chapter
14
idea.
G
Special
education
guidelines
requires
that
you
have
this
system
in
place
before
districts
refer
students
or
to
testing
for
special
education
services
and
identifying
students
for
special
education
services.
It
is
a
part
of
all
the
audits,
every
special
education
audit.
It
is
a
required
system
that
must
be
in
place
for
all
for
students
every
District
in
Pennsylvania.
What
we
are
finding
is
these
tiered
levels
of
support
needs.
G
A
coordinator
to
organize
it
similar
to
special
education
supports
where
we
have
teachers,
coaches
interventionists,
who
are
in
place
to
support
students
who
are
identified
for
and
needing
special
education
support.
Our
regular
education
students
also
need
a
coordinator
to
oversee,
supervise
and
assist
the
Stu,
the
school
district,
Centennial
School
District,
and
having
one
streamlined
system
right
now.
Mtss
is
running
in
our
elementary
and
middle
school
buildings.
We
have
child
study,
which
is
a
little,
is
similar
running
in
the
high
school.
There
is
no
official
coordinator
to
organize
these
systems
that
would
be
in
place.
G
Okay,
so
on
the
agenda
this
afternoon
this
evening
is
the
posting
of
this
new
position
for
Centennial
during
our
last
audit,
which
we
just
completed
our
final
documentation
for
corrective
action
for
the
audit
last
month,
it
was
a
highlighted,
questioned
and
required
in
several
areas
of
the
audit
to
have
a
system
in
place
to
have
it
organized
also
multi-tiered
systems
of
support.
G
Questions
from
this
from
this
process
are
included
and
required
from
by
psychologists
when
they
are
testing
students
for
special
education,
and
it's
not
just
a
way
to
go
to
special
education,
but
it
prevents
students
from
being
over
identified
for
needing
special
education
supports
oftentimes
students
just
need
interventions,
and
not
special
education
supports
before
mtss
and
Pro
systems
of
support
like
mtss.
G
There
was
a
more
likeliness
of
students
districts
over
identifying
students.
Everyone
does
not
need
special
education
in
order
to
progress,
but
we
do
need
levels
of
support
for
students
and
Centennial
recognizes
that
we
need
to
organize
the
system,
the
mtss
system
and
program,
so
that
we
need
a
coordinator
to
help
bring
this
together
and
help
us
have
better
accountability
to
our
students,
our
families
and
to
the
state.
H
G
Thank
you,
so
the
funding
source,
thank
you,
Dr
Benton.
The
funding
source
would
come
from
the
special
education
budget,
with
the
increased
money
that
special
education
across
the
state
was
a
lot
of
the
school
districts
were
allotted
for
special
education
supports,
and
this
is
would
fall
under
special
education
because
it's
early
intervening
preventing
us
from
over
identifying
at
this
time,
Centennial
is
at
almost
20
percent
of
the
Centennial
population
has
been
identified
as
needing
special
education
supports
or
qualifying
for
special
education
supports
this.
G
This
method
of
supporting
students
helps
us
not
to
over
identify,
but
it
also
helps
us
to
pinpoint
the
areas
of
need
that
students
have
if
they
were
to
receive
special
education
support
and,
of
course
we
would
need
a
coordinator
for
this.
So
this
is
at
this
funding
again
comes
from
the
special
education
budget.
C
So
question
from
my
Society,
of
course,
is
this
a
must-have
or
just
nice
to
have
type
of
position.
G
It's
a
must-have,
it's
it's
a
must-have,
not
a
must-have,
that
the
state
says.
You
must
have
a
coordinator,
but
is
a
must-have
that
the
state
says:
You
must
have
mtss
in
place,
it
must
be
organized
and
the
district
has
to
have
appropriate
accountability
and
it
has
to
be.
It
has
to
be
implemented
with
Fidelity,
not.
G
Over
the
years,
Centennial
and
other
districts
have
been
utilizing
teachers
and
teacher
teaching
staff
to
try
to
coordinate
it.
But
what
we
find
is
that
there
are
inconsistencies
with
the
implementation
across
buildings,
but
also
the
ability
to
have
all
of
the
professional
development
needed
that
is
being
presented
by
Pennsylvania
Department
of
Education
to
attend
the
trainings,
to
come
back
to
the
district,
to
provide
coaching
support
and
appropriate
implementation.
I
Yeah
I
have
a
question.
Our
mtss
has
been
working
pretty
well
till
now,
right,
I'm
hearing
a
lot
again.
No,
it
has
not
been
working.
Well,
that's
where
we
need
to
do
this.
Yes,
okay.
You
said
that
we're
getting
some
some
other
funding
for
special
education.
Yes,
that's
we're
always
hurting
for
special
education
teachers
programs.
I
Would
that
money
be
better
spent
on
teachers
that
have
a
direct
impact
on
students,
and
then
we
can
find
someone
else
in
the
chain
of
command
the
assistant
director
of
student
services
or
special
education
supervisor,
or
maybe
even
the
executive
director
of
student
service,
to
split
the
workload
that
this
position
would
do.
So
we
can
have
a
more
direct
impact
on
students,
no.
G
And
I'll
tell
you
why?
Okay,
so
it
is
a
job
in
itself
and
it
we
can't
add
on
to
the
responsibilities
of
the
supervisors.
This
is
a
position
that
is
for
early
intervening,
supporting
it
supports
the
regular
Ed
and
special
education
teachers,
so
having
the
coordinator
in
place
will
help
to
better
equip
coach
support,
our
staff,
regular
education,
special
education
staff
and
support
staff,
instructional
support
staff
to
assist
our
special
education.
G
J
G
We
have
received
additional
funding.
The
state
has
for
a
lot
of
additional
funding
for
special
education
reports.
G
G
Well,
this
is
not
a
supervisor
for
special
education
teachers.
This
is
a
coordinator
for
mtss
supports
for
the
entire
District.
This
person
would
oversee
the
supports
for
the
entire
District
right
now
we
have
Point
people,
teachers,
coaches,
who
are
doing
their
job
in
a
little
bit
of
coordinating,
but
it's
it's
individual
schools
and
not
a
coordination
of
the
district.
I
I
Yeah
I
was
halfway
answered,
but
yes,
and
our
last
update
and
I
Mr
Greenwood
could
probably
answer
this
better,
so
you're
off
the
hook,
sure
which
I
know
you
like
it
looks
like
we're:
losing
Esser
funding
shortly
right
and
part
of
losing.
That
funding
is
we're
going
to
be
one
of
the
cvla
coordinators,
the
CVL
coordinators
paid
for
at
the
escrow
funding
right.
So
we're
going
to
have
to
find
a
way
to
pay
for
that.
G
H
C
G
At
this
point,
the
and
I'll
let
Mr
Greenwood
answer
that,
but
I
do
not
believe
any
of
those
staff
fall
under
the
special
education.
A
A
H
Evening,
Madam,
chair
and
board
members
and
guests
I
like
to
take
this
opportunity
to
touch
on
three
things.
One
is
to
give
the
board
an
update
on
the
current
status
of
our
student
population.
Then
a
year
review
and
an
opportunity
to
introduce
a
guest
who's
here
to
to
meet
the
board
at
this
time.
H
So
right
off
the
bat
we
like
it,
give
the
board
an
update
and
review
of
our
student
demographic
and
the
changes
that
have
happened
as
you
get
ready
to
approach
making
decisions
about
how
to
best
meet
the
needs
of
our
students
next
slide
or
do
I
have
the
ability.
Yep
I
got
the
ability
and,
as
you
know,
we
always
focus
on
making
sure
we're
doing
things
to
meet
our
mission
vision
and
our
belief
statement
in
servicing
our
students.
H
In
a
district,
we
put
a
high
emphasis
and
focus
on
the
building
blocks
for
high
performing
schools,
and
the
top
line
is
one
of
the
most
important
responsibilities
board
members
and
a
superintendent
which
is
a
team
of
10,
have
is
ensure
that
all
students
in
our
school
district
have
every
opportunity
to
succeed.
A
big
part
of
that
is
that
understanding
our
student
population
from
qualitative
and
a
quantitative
data
point.
There
is
no
silver
magical
thing
that
you
can
do.
No
single
thing
that
you
can
do
to
ensure
High
student
performance.
H
The
building
blocks
that
we're
talking
about
is
having
a
clear
and
shared
focus
and
then
having
high
standards
and
expectations
for
all
students
and
I'm,
not
going
to
read
all
of
that.
This
is
available
for
everyone,
but
one
of
the
things
that
you
have
to
understand
is
the
context
of
the
community
and
the
district
we
serve,
and
this
information
is
about.
The
community
related
to
the
school
district
boundaries
doesn't
mean
that
every
one
of
those
students
attend
our
school
district,
but
that
is
our
population
that
we're
serving
and
they
could
attend
our
district.
H
It
talks
about
and
provides
information
on
a
median
age
of
our
district
population,
the
sex
and
the
population
by
category
and
also
the
breakdown.
What
you
will
notice
later,
if
you
look
at
the
race
and
ethnic
ethnicity,
is
that
what
our
community
looks
like
in
our
district
boundaries
is
not
what
our
school
population
of
students
looks
like.
It
is
slightly
different.
H
We
are
microcosm
of
the
larger
group
Armenian
income
per
capita
by
that
census.
Reporter
is
a
just
shy
of
42
000,
but
our
median
household
income
is
just
over
three
thousand
dollars.
You
often
hear
the
conversation
about
poverty
and
poverty
was
in
a
census
was
4.9
percent,
and
then
you
asked
the
question
as
Mr
Martin,
so
I'll
often
ask
is:
what's
the
difference
between
poverty
and
freeduced
lunch
Freedom?
Just
lunch
is
an
indicator
of
poverty.
H
H
There's
information
about
our
families,
our
households,
we
have
just
over
20
000
households
and
roughly
2.4
persons
per
household.
Why
do
we
care
we
think
about
this
when
we're
trying
to
serve
and
meet
the
needs
of
our
families
and
our
parents
and
our
children
understand
what
that
looks
like
housing,
the
housing
influences
our
tax
base.
H
H
And
then
you
talk
about
the
social
aspect,
the
education
level,
just
shy
of
95
of
our
community
has
a
high
school
diploma
and
just
about
35
percent,
rounded
up
as
a
bachelor's
degree.
And
then
you
talk
about
the
languages.
What
you
will
notice
there
that
you'll
see
later
is
our
languages,
and
our
diversity
in
our
district
is
more
than
what
our
overall
community
population
looks
like.
H
H
Our
enrollment
is
sitting
compared
to
the
beginning
of
the
school
year
of
5287
is
now
5323
and
we
continue
to
enroll
students,
so
we're
growing
we're
actually
getting
more
students
in
than
what
we're
losing.
So
we
have
students
who
disenroll,
but
we
have
more
students
coming
in
than
what
we're
losing
so
we're
ticking
back
up
and
Rising
with
student
population.
Why
does
that
matter?
H
H
That's
why
we
always
caution
a
board
with
the
boundaries
and
how
important
they
are,
because
one
movement
could
trigger
by
your
policy
a
requirement
for
an
additional
teacher
in
a
classroom
and
then
sometimes
I've
been
in
situations
where
we
didn't
even
have
more
classrooms
in
the
building.
To
actually
add
another
classroom.
H
What
happened
here
was
interesting,
as
you
can
see.
The
bottom
is
that
our
free
and
reduced
lunch
on
the
left
has
gone
from
roughly
41
to
actually
40
44
in
our
freedom
reduced
launch
at
the
time
that
I
pulled
this
data.
The
number
of
countries
that
were
represented
has
gone
from
46
to
48,
so
it's
grown
by
two.
The
number
of
languages
spoken
has
also
stayed
a
constant
around
34,
but
what
really
jumped
out
at
us
is
a
spike
in
our
English
language
development.
H
We
have
a
significant
increase
of
families
moving
in
who
are
coming
from
other
countries.
That
also
may
be
needing
English
language
Services,
which
will
also
then
mean
more
needs
for
them
to
be
successful,
and
then
the
last
one
is
our
homeless.
We've
had
a
significant
jump
and
our
homeless
population.
As
you
look
at
this,
you
will
see
that
we've
gone
from
a
low
of
34
to
now
101
identified
homeless
students
in
our
district
again
increasing
a
need
for
services
that
are,
we
have
to
provide
to
these
families.
H
This
was
just
released
not
too
long
ago,
and
what
they
talk
about
is
high.
Poverty
equals
a
need
for
more
resources
and
then
there's
a
direct
correlation
right
now
about
wealth
and
poverty
related
related
to
student
outcomes.
At
this
time,
if
you
look
to
the
right,
Centennial
is
roughly
fifth
from
the
right
when
it
comes
to
the
percentage
of
students
who
are
living
and
are
at
free-induced
lunch
rate
and
the
academic
performance.
H
We
kept
working
to
make
our
school
district
better.
We
kept
doing
things
and
not
folding
up
tent
because
of
the
pandemic
and
kept
working
on
improving
our
outcomes
in
a
return
on
investment
for
our
taxpayers.
We
absolutely
are
working
to
make
sure
that
we
progress
to
meet
those
three
goals
at
the
school
board
adopted.
H
The
change
is
that
you
see
in
red
is
that
the
state
is
moving
the
target
from
2030
to
2033
to
have
all
and
our
goal
is
have
all
our
schools
meet
or
exceed
the
PA
Statewide
goals
outlined
in
the
future
ready

and
finally,
I
offer
you
an
opportunity
to
celebrate
what
happened
in
2022.
Despite
two
years
of
the
pandemic,
Nate.
H
Hello,
Centennial
School
District
becoming
a
high
performing
school
or
School
District
takes
years
of
sustained
commitment
reaching
that
level
takes
years
ultimately
affecting
values,
attitudes,
beliefs
and
instructional
practices,
improve
our
teaching
and
learning
are
outcomes
and
our
communities
return
on
investment.
Over
the
past
two
and
a
half
years,
CSD
has
been
working
to
implement
the
nine
characteristics.
Researchers
have
found,
High
performing
schools
or
school
districts
have
in
common.
H
The
frequent
monitoring
of
learning
and
teaching
the
support
to
the
capacity
building
includes
Focus
professional
development,
a
supportive
learning
environment
and
high
levels
of
family
and
Community
involvement.
While
we
have
much
work
still
to
do,
especially
as
we
continue
our
efforts
to
address
the
unfinished
learning
experienced
by
our
students
because
of
the
pandemic
I'm
proud
to
share
some
of
the
successes.
Centennial
has
experienced
up
until
this
point
moving
the
school
district
for
control,
as
Denzel
Washington
once
said.
H
Don't
mistake
movement
from
progress
because
you
can
be
moving
in
the
same
place
and
still
not
be
progressing
I
hope
you
will
see
and
agree
that
CSD
continued
to
move
forward,
making
progress
despite
the
challenges
we
have
faced
with
over
the
past
couple
of
years.
Enrollment
is
up
a
variety
of
student
opportunities
for
academics,
Athletics
and
arts
continue
and
New
Frontiers
continue
to
be
explored
and
pursued
on
behalf
of
CSD
I
want
to
say
thank
you
and
celebrate
the
progress
we
have
made.
Let's
take
a
moment
to
look
back
and
celebrate
our
successes.

N
Martin
Hayes
here
from
Klinger,
Middle,
School
and
I
just
wanted
to
share
a
few
words
about
how
great
things
have
been
going
in
both
of
our
middle
schools
since
we've
reimagined
middle
schools.
So
we
put
an
incredible
program
together
things
that
are
happening
now
for
kids,
with
teams
in
their
classes,
with
all
the
social,
emotional,
academic
learning
that's
going
on
with
our
students.
Things
have
been
great
we're
seeing
fabulous
growth
with
our
students,
both
academically
and
with
the
way
that
they're
treating
one
another
as
always
with
school,
especially
in
middle
school.
N
We
have
things
we
need
to
work
on
and
things
that
come
up
and
some
challenges
with
our
students,
but
the
way
that
they're
treating
one
another
the
way
they're
coming
to
school
every
day
with
great
attitudes
and
a
real
sense
of
belonging,
has
been
incredible.
So,
in
summary,
our
reimagined
middle
schools
have
been
fabulous.
Our
students
are
growing
academically,
they're
engaged
in
school
they're,
enjoying
their
classes
they're
having
great
relationships
with
all
of
the
adults
as
well
as
with
one
another
and
we're
seeing
so
many
gains.
It's
really
been
a
great
year.

O
2022
was
a
good
year
for
us
in
the
office
of
teaching
and
learning
when
it
comes
to
curriculum.
We've
moved
all
of
our
curriculum
to
standards
aligned
to
match
up
with
the
Pennsylvania
Department
of
Education
academic
standards,
especially
in
the
core
for
subject
areas
of
reading
English
language,
arts,
math
social
studies.
O
In
addition,
as
a
district,
we
moved
our
district
assessment
platform
to
I-Ready
and
IXL
we're
using
I-Ready
diagnostic
Assessments
in
math
and
reading
for
grades,
K-8
and
I
excel
for
math
and
reading
in
grades
9
through
11,
and
those
two
assessment
platforms
are
providing
great
data
and
personalized
instruction
for
our
students.
One
of
the
great
results
we're
seeing
already
from
aligning
our
curriculum
to
Pennsylvania
academic
standards
is
great
student.
Academic
growth
on
state
assessments,
both
the
pssa's
and
Keystone.
O
Another
area
of
Pride
for
2022
for
the
office
of
teaching
and
learning
is
our
multi-year
professional
development
plan
which
are
aligned
to
both
curricular
supports
and
improving
classroom
instruction
in
the
office
of
teaching
and
learning.
We
solve
great
growth
this
year,
also
with
internal
supports
when
it
comes
to
instructional
coaching.
O
We
are
blessed
to
have
several
instructional
coaches
for
both
math
and
reading
for
K-12,
in
addition
to
Specialists,
not
only
our
reading
Specialists,
but
in
the
last
year
and
a
half
adding
math
Specialists,
which
has
supported
student
growth
in
the
area
of
math
on
internal
assessments
as
well
on
the
psccs
and
Keystone
exams.
An
additional
point
of
Pride
for
the
office
of
teaching
and
learning
in
the
last
year
has
been
through
the
production
and
sharing
out
of
our
Ed
talks
regarding
areas
of
curriculum
and
instruction
data
and
assessment.

H
We
did
not
rest
and
make
excuses
because
of
the
pandemic,
and
I
applaud
our
teachers,
our
staff,
our
students
and
our
parents.
It
was
a
tough
time,
but
we
are
getting
more
and
more
people
coming
to
our
staff
asking
for
how
are
you
doing
that
and
what
we're
doing
and
I
would
encourage
you
that,
as
you
approach
this
budget
cycle,
remember
that
this
is
probably
not
the
time
to
take
the
pedal
fundamental.
H
H
Education
impacts,
we're
Workforce,
education,
impacts,
housing
and
its
value,
education
impacts,
crime
and
safety
and
education
actually
impacts.
Health.
An
educated
population
makes
better
decisions
about
health
care.
An
educated
population
can
get
jobs,
an
educated
population
makes
better
decisions
about
family
and
quality
of
life.
Investment
in
education
is
actually
an
investment
in
all
of
those
things,
and
one
single
swoop
is
my
hope
that
the
new
governor-elect
keeps
his
promise
by
adding
more
funding
to
public
education
from
the
state
level
to
relieve
the
local
taxpayer
of
some
of
it.
H
You
can
go
into
a
career
pathway
at
mbit
bucks,
Community
College,
which
you
can
get
a
degree
or
certain
career
certification,
and
if
you
want
to
go
on,
we've
got
some
agreements
that
if
you
meet
a
standard,
you
can
get
there
and
they'll
give
you
money
to
go,
and
we
want
to
thank
the
YMC
and
others
who
are
also
investing
in
the
mental,
physical
and
emotional
health
of
our
faculty
and
staff.
H
By
coming
alongside
and
also
be
offering
additional
resources
and
supports
for
our
family
with
child
care
to
support
our
school
calendar
opportunities
with
that
said,
any
questions
and
then
I'll
turn
it
back.
You,
madam
chair,
so
that
our
guests,
who
happened,
didn't
know
he
was
going
to
be
featured
and
represented
in
that
presentation.
So
take
any
questions
or
comments.
Madam,
chair,
I.
A
G
So
homeless,
students
are
students
who
are
experiencing
homelessness.
They
are
families
who
do
not
have
a
sustainable
permanent
housing.
They
may
have
lost
their
housing
for
various
reasons
and
so
under
actually
on
our
website
under
mckinney-vento
on
our
website.
It
gives
a
couple
of
definitions.
There
are
also
students
who
are
a
certain
age
and
they
are
not
living
in
their
the
home
with
their
parent
for
various
reasons,
they
could
be
considered
homeless.
G
Students
who
come
from
the
Ukraine
are
considered
homeless
for
at
least
the
first
year
of
them
coming
into
the
district.
Some
students
are,
some
families
are
homeless
before
they
came
into
our
district,
so
they
lost
their
housing
when
they
were
in
another
District.
So
we
coordinate
with
that
District
as
far
as
the
district
that
they
came
from
for
as
far
as
transportation
and
other
supports.
So
it's
various
reasons,
but
it
is
usually
when
a
when
a
family
has
lost
the
ability
to
be
able
to
have
a
home
to
live
in.
L
G
Yes,
and
we
have
social
workers
along,
we
coordinate
with
the
county
to
provide
resources
for
our
families
and
so
I.
We
don't
have
anyone
that
we
are
aware
of,
that
is
not
living
in
a
building.
Some
families
may
live
in,
have
to
live
in
a
hotel,
but
we
coordinate
with
the
county.
I
am
not
aware
of
anyone
really
in
any
District
who's
living
in
the
woods,
though.
Okay,
thank
you.

pleasure
to
see
Dr
Covell
here
tonight
so
with
no,
you
know
to
say,
welcome
and
I
hope,
you're
going
to
say
a
few
words
about
how
your
new
welcome
to
mbit
is
taking
place.
I
will
thank
you.
S
Thank
you
very
much.
I
I've
wanted
to
visit
each
of
the
four
sending
districts
so
that
I
could
introduce
myself
to
the
full
board.
So
my
name
is
Dr
Mark
Covell
I'm,
the
administrative
director
at
mbit.
My
first
day
was
October
the
31st
and
it's
been
quite
a
whirlwind:
getting
going
jumping
right
on
the
treadmill
at
full
speed,
it's
been
a
terrific
time.
S
I,
don't
have
to
tell
you
what
a
great
place
mbit
is
it's
a
gem
in
Bucks,
County
and
I'm
thrilled
to
be
a
part
of
the
team
there
I
wanted
to
to.
Let
you
know
a
couple
of
things.
First,
I
wanted
you
to
know
how
well
represented
Centennial.
School
District
is
by
three
champions
of
education
and
three
champions
of
current
technical
education
on
our
Council.
S
You
were
very
well
represented
and
and
Centennial
School
District
as
well,
taken
care
of
on
our
executive
Council
by
your
three
Representative
members.
The
second
thing
I
wanted
to
make
sure
that
I
conveyed
is
that
mbit
is
your
school
and
you
are
welcome
at
mbit
at
any
time
and
and
I'd
be
more
than
glad
to
show
anybody
around
give
you
a
tour
and
let
you
see
one
of
our
any
of
our
21
programs.
S
I,
absolutely
love
what
you
said
in
the
presentation
there
and
I'm
floored
by
what
was
put
together
as
an
absolutely
wonderful
presentation
that
two
by
two
by
two
program
is
a
second
to
none
anywhere
in
the
country.
It's
a
great
program,
a
great
opportunity
for
students
to
extend
their
learning
through
their
Career
and
Technical
tracks,
I
like
to
tell
students
to
tour
a
building.
We
have
21
programs,
but
that
doesn't
mean
that
you
can
get
only
21
jobs
in
the
workforce.
S
You
can
get
21
000
jobs
based
on
the
training
that
you
get
at
mbit,
and
so
it's
a
wonderful
place
to
be,
and
it's
a
pleasure
to
serve
as
the
administrative
director
there
I
wanted
to
express
our
thanks
and
gratitude
for
your
support
of
mbit
and
and
just
express
my
appreciation
for
all
that
you
do
for
that
school
and,
like
I
said
it
is
your
school.
Lastly,
happy
School
director's
month.
We
appreciate
the
sacrifice
that
you
give
to
not
only
your
school
but
also
mpit.
So
thank
you
very
much
for
the
time.
C
You
very
very
much
Dr
Carvel
before
you
move
away
since
we
met
last
night
and
and
I
know,
you
shared
the
good
news
that
we
got.
You
know
from
the
state.
I
think
you
would
be
great
if
you
would
share
that
information
with
this
board
as
well.
Absolutely.
S
So
we
in
Career
and
Technical
education,
it's
it's
an
expensive
Endeavor
to
run
Career
and
Technical
programs,
and
so
the
state
makes
available
some
non-competitive,
grant
funding
but
also
competitive,
grant
funding.
And
we
use
that
competitive
grant,
funding
and
non-competitive
grant
funding
to
purchase
equipment
so
that
we
can
have
industry
standard
equipment
for
our
students.
We
want
to
prepare
students
for
the
jobs
of
today
and
tomorrow,
not
the
jobs
of
yesterday,
and
that
requires
constantly
updating
our
equipment
so
that
they
are
being
trained
on
the
most
up-to-date
equipment.
S
So
they
can
enter
the
workforce
ready
to
work,
and
so
we
were
the
recipients
of
the
competitive
equipment
Grant
and
the
amount
of
fifty
thousand
dollars
which
will
allow
us
to
expand
our
Automotive
program
as
well
as
our
Horticulture
program
and
the
automotive
program.
We're
looking
to
purchase
with
that
funding,
hybrid
and
electric
vehicles
again
to
make
sure
that
our
students
are
trained
on
the
technology
of
today
and
tomorrow.
So
we'll
use
that
funding
towards
those
purchases
and
then
just
to
support.
Also
our
Horticulture
program
for
some
equipment
that
they
were
in
need
of.
S
So
we're
excited
to
be
recipients
of
that
Grant,
one
of
only
35
Career
Technical
centers
in
the
state
that
receive
that
Grant,
and
it
will
be
my
my
goal
to
make
sure
that
we
are
are
trying
to
seek
out,
apply
for
and
receive
as
much
grant
funding
as
we
can,
because,
certainly,
we
can't
just
constantly
ask
for
increased
funds,
increase
funds
increase
funds
because
that's
not
that's
not
the
way
that
we'll
we'll
make
things
happen.
So
that's
our
goal
at
mbit,
under
my
leadership.
A
K
Okay,
be
it
resolved
at
the
Centennial
School
District

Does

Second,
all
in
favor.
J
K
6.48,
it's
going
to
be
eight
one
zero
and
everything
else
is
going
to
be
9-0
all
right,
go
back
to
6.5
waivers,
be
it
resolved
at
Centennial,
School,
District,
Board
of
school
directors,
6.5
a
approves
a
request
for
a
35
reduction
of
fees
for
Warminster
Spartans
youth
wrestling
to
use
the
gym
at
William
Tennant
high
school
on
Saturday
January,
21st
2023
for
a
wrestling
meet
cost
to
Warminster.
Spartans
is
234
dollars.
Second,
Mrs
brancato
yeah.
T
I
I
would
like
to
propose
that
we
give
them
a
50
reduction
in
fees.
They
are
a
huge
feeder
program
for
our
wrestling
teams
and
I
think
that
I
think
that
we
could
give
them
50
off
they're
on
all
volunteer
group
I
believe
that
our
High
School
coaches
also
help
out
as
much
as
they
can
with
the
Spartans,
so
I
think
that's
the
least.
We
could
do
because
we're
trying
to
build
up
our
own
wrestling
program,
and
this
is
our
feeder.
These
are
our
feeder
kids.
K
A
H
Theoretically,
Madam
chair
you're
kind
of
articulating
that,
because
that
reduction
is
based
on
your
board
policy
and
that
board
policy,
where
the
reduction
is
driven
by
the
percentage
of
people
who
are
on
that
team
that
reside
in
your
school
district
I,
remember
correctly
correct,
so
the
higher
the
percentage
of
people
who
are
from
the
school
district,
the
higher
the
reduction-
that's
a
given.
So
what
you're
saying
is
that
formula
doesn't
apply
here?
H
C
H
A
Q
A
B
C
T
A
C
K
A
You
item
seven
old
business,
Miss
Crossing.
K
A
K
K
You
know
what
how
about
I,
just
how
about
I
read
each
one
and
we
vote
on
them
separately.
Is
that
okay,
all
right
perfect,
be
it
resolved
that
the
Centennial
School
District
Board
of
school
directors
8.1
approves
policy
zero,
zero,
five
organization
as
per
the
attached
Mr
March?
Second,
here,
okay,
you
seconded
it
did
you
want
to
discuss
it?
Yes,.
L
Ma'am,
first
off
I,
don't
know
if
everyone
had
the
opportunity
to
read
this.
It's
rather
lengthy
for
a
policy
of
four
pages.
There
are
20
pages
of
operating
guidelines,
including
some
inconsistencies,
which
again
became
rather
obvious
in
reading
this
under
0.3
there's
a
statement
that
says
the
board
President
should
be
able
to
contact
the
solicitors
under
solicitors,
part
of
it
absolutely
without
with
board
authorization.
L
The
the
School
President
should
be
able
to
score
presidential
contact
the
solicit
every
time
they
want
without
any
alteration
from
anybody,
regardless
of
who
the
president
is
to
come
to
the
board,
to
ask
for
authorization
to
be
able
to
call
your
solicitor
I,
don't
know
how
you
would
ever
accomplish
that
without
waiting
two
weeks
and
items
that
you
may
need
to
contact
the
solicitor
for
don't
last
two
weeks.
So
that's
one
thing
there's
also
in
there
that
no
board
members
should
contact
the
solicitor
on
any
matter.
L
I
I.
This
is
a
double-edged
sword.
I
I,
don't
think
there
should
be
a
policy
that
you
could
contact
them
anytime
and
and
get
charged
for
it.
On
the
other
hand,
I
think
board
members
should
have
the
ability
to
get
information
from
the
solicitor,
so
maybe
there
could
be
a
possibility
of
working
something
out
with
the
solicitor
there
to
control
that.
Yet
let
board
members
be
able
to
to
contact
them
as
need
be.
L
There's
also
a
statement
in
there
regarding
board
committees
that
the
chairman
of
the
board
committees
should
consult
with
the
superintendent
to
develop
the
agenda.
I
must
say,
as
chairman
of
a
committee
for
the
last
year
at
no
time,
did
I
contact
the
superintendent
to
discuss
the
agenda
for
board
committee.
I.
Think
that
if
there's
going
to
be
a
statement
of
that
type,
it
should
read
that
the
chairman
needs
to
contact
the
superintendent
or
his
designee,
because
I
am
a
finance
committee.
L
I
work
with
Mr
Greenwood
on
the
committee
agenda
and
such
and
certainly
keep
Dr
Breton
informed.
I
have
no
problem
with
that,
but
I
don't
consult
with
the
superintendent
I,
don't
think
any
other
chairman
does
either
yet
that's
included
in
this
particular
policy.
There's
also
a
rather
lengthy
statement
regarding
a
solicitor
of
12
pages
I.
Don't
think
we
need
operating
guidelines
of
12
pages
to
resolve
matters
about
the
solicitor.
L
Well,
if,
on
one
hand,
you
say
you
can't
make
contact
with
the
solicitor,
on
the
other
hand,
if
you're
a
board
chairman
you're
allowed
according
to
this
policy
to
way
reads,
I
can
read.
English
says
that
the
board
chairman
of
the
committee
can
contact
the
solicitor
to
arrange
if
you
want
to
have
a
solicitor
come
to
the
meeting.
If
your
board
chairman,
you
can
do
that
according
to
the
policy,
so
I
think
this
is
a
very
for
not
the
policy
itself.
I
have
no
problem
with
policy.
L
I
have
problem
with
these
operating
guidelines
of
20
pages.
We're
a
four-page
policy,
I
think
they're
overly
detailed.
We
don't
need
to
be
that
long
and
there
are
some
inconsistencies
which
I
have
just
pointed
out.
So
for
those
reasons,
I
would
respectfully
ask
that
we
do
not
proceed
with
the
adoption
of
the
entire
policy,
certainly
correcting
those.
Unless
you
want
the
inconsistencies
in
there.
That's
perfectly
fine
and
certainly
change
the
policy
regarding
the
12
pages
that
relate
to
the
adoption
of
a
solicitor.
L
H
You,
madam
chair
I,
could
answer
a
couple
of
those
to
clear
them
up,
so
the
last
one
is
very
easy
anytime.
There
is
a
given
agreement
to
do
something:
that's
the
authority
to
do
it.
So
the
the
premise
of
board
members
contacting
solicitor
without
a
board
approval.
The
fact
that
that
statement
is
in
there
is
giving
an
automatic
exception,
because
the
whole
board
approved
that.
So
it's
not
a
conflict.
That
is
given
the
indication
that
you
can
invite
them
to
the
meeting.
H
So
you're
basically
saying
they
can
be
invited
to
that
meeting,
and
that's
your
Authority
given
to
you
by
the
whole
board.
That
means
anything
outside
of
that
purview.
You
shouldn't
be
contacted
him.
The
other
part
about
the
board
members
contacting
solicitor
that
was
discussed
at
the
last
time
and
part
of
the
issue
that
we
raise
administratively
is
we
reconcile
the
solicitor's
bills.
H
We
get
bills
right
now
and
I
couldn't
tell
you
and
their
board
member's
name
on
it.
In
some
cases
there
is
no
board
member
name
on
it.
Just
says
board
members.
So
in
essence,
what
I
said
to
the
board,
if
you
so
choose
to
do
that,
then
you
should
adopt
the
process
for
how
you're
going
to
reconcile
approving
the
payment,
because
we
can't
speak
to
those
charges.
H
In
essence,
an
individual
board
member
is
now
incurring
expenses
without
the
board's
Authority,
and
we
have
had
that
already
right
now
and
administratively,
every
administrator
there,
except
for
the
exceptions,
one
special
ed
goals
directly
and
is
authorized
to
deal
with
because
of
the
time
sensitivity
we
review
the
bills
they
recirculate
them.
They
have
to
sign
off
an
initial
that
they
actually
did
contact
and
then
it
goes
through
the
CFO
signature
and
my
signature
authorized
payment
of
that
bill.
So
we
actually
reconcile
to
verify
that
is
a
valid
charge.
H
The
last
few
bills,
when
we
ran
a
report
based
on
your
conversation
here,
I
looked
at
them
closely.
There
are
specific
names
in
some
cases
and
in
other
cases
it
just
says:
plural
board,
members
and
I
couldn't
tell
you
what
that's
legitimate
charge
or
not
so
I'm,
not
speaking
to
whether
you
want
to
change
that
or
not.
But
I
am
speaking
to
that.
If
you
are
allowing
board
members
to
call
at
minimum,
there
probably
need
to
be
some
guidelines
on
what
that
looks
like
to
Mr
Martin's
Point,
because
we
have
no
mechanism
to
reconcile.
H
Are
those
valid
charges
or
not
I'm,
not
assuming
they
would
erroneously
do
it
on
intentionally
for
us,
because
I
would
never
go
there
and
say
that,
but
I
could
not
tell
you
that
I
know
that
Jane
Doe
or
Frank
Doe
made
that
call
and
what
the
purpose
was
the
other
issue
that
is
concerned.
If
one
board
member
calls
a
solicitor.
H
How
do
you
all
know
that
information
correct
you
don't
have
access
to
the
same
information
now
I
would
say
that
if
you
want
to
allow
board
members,
then
maybe
the
communication
should
be
in
writing
and
a
response
come
to
all
board
members
as
a
mechanism.
If
you
want
to
allow
it
so
that
all
have
access
to
that
response.
A
Match
with
much
research,
Mr
Martin,
you
talk
to
the
solicitor
14
times
during
the
year,
which
you're
supposed
to
because
you
were
the
board
president
six
calls
were
made
from
board
member,
even
though
the
policy
stated
board.
Members
can't
call
so
at
this
point
in
time,
I
would
very
much
very
much
say
that
we
cannot
allow
individual
board
members
to
call
the
solicitor
on
board
information.
A
K
Okay,
so
with
what
I
just
read
for.
H
The
you
probably
want
to
do
clean
up
to
Mr
Barton's
point
the
the
issue
with
referencing
the
board
president.
That
line
in
there
is
something
that
the
board
should
address,
because
I
do
agree
with
him.
You
have
to
have
someone
on
your
behalf,
other
than
administrative
wise.
It
is
a
member
of
team
of
10..
H
The
board
president
has
operational
requirements
that
that
line
would
I
think
inhibit
them
to
do
that
job
at
times.
So
I
do
agree
that
that's
one
I
do
absolutely
good
other
ones,
I'm
just
giving
you
operational
aspect
and
I've,
given
you
an
opinion,
but
that
one
is
and
on
the
solicitor
that
is
supposed
to
be
guiding.
When
you
do
a
selection.
That's
why
it's
so
many
pages,
Mr
Martin!
H
It
doesn't
get
used
a
lot
and
that's
what
we
struggle
with
when
we're
trying
to
find
a
process,
because
this
wasn't
in
place
when
you're
trying
to
do
an
engagement
of
the
solicitor.
So
that's
the
purpose
not
giving
an
opinion
whether
it's
the
qualitative
value
of
it.
But
those
pages
were
about
how
do
you
pick
and
select
the
process
for
the
solicitor.
L
Madam
president,
if
I
could
just
ask
a
question
and
and
I
recall,
making
calls
to
Mrs,
Weider
and
and
Mr
Garten
last
year
about
items
for
an
agenda
or
coming
to
a
meeting
things
of
that
nature
and
I
think
the
President
should
have
that
right
now.
My
question
is:
if
we're
going
to
change,
have
a
policy
that
says
only
the
president
can
contact
the
solicitor
and
then
they
do
the
board.
Member
has
to
go
through
the
president
to
make
that
contact.
What
what's?
L
What
is
the
guarantee
that
the
president
will
honor
a
request
from
an
individual
board
member
and
how
I
a
bit
difficult
for
me?
It'd
be
difficult
for
you
to
make
that
call
and
if
you
do
contact
the
solicitor
on
behalf
of
the
board
member
at
the
end
of
the
day,
you're
going
to
get
if
I
made
12
and
somebody
else
make
collectively
made
six
you're
still
going
to
get
18
calls
I
mean
I,
don't
see
what
there
should
be.
A
L
A
L
Six
calls
it
a
year
is
that
is
that
a
truly
excessive
amount,
unless
they
were
extended,
calls
I,
I
think
there's
a
compromise
that
could
be
worked
out
here
that
perhaps
a
board
member
shouldn't
call
the
solicitor
possibly
if
they
have
a
question,
they
should
email
with
a
copy
to
Every
Other
Board
member,
that
they
are
emailing
the
solicitor
with
their
question,
and
then
the
response
can
get
back
to
everybody.
There's
room
for
cop.
All
I'm
saying
is
I.
Don't
want
to
prolong
this!
This
policy
has
a
lot
of
holes
in
it.
A
A
Well,
whatever
magic
figure
you
decide
to
put
together,
but
on
the
other
hand
the
calls
you
did
a
marvelous
job
last
year,
marvelous
and
you
had
listener
here
when
we
needed
them
and
I
never
had
a
problem.
I,
never
doubted
you
in
a
at
all
ever
I.
Don't
think
anybody!
This
board
did
board.
Members
can
just
run
up
bills
with
solicitor
on
trivia.
We
don't
know
that,
but
it
has
worked
for
years.
A
Why
would
we
change
it
now,
when
all
of
a
sudden
by
board
members
decide
well
I,
don't
like
what
he
told
you
so
I'm
calling
them
up
to
find
out
what
I
think
that's
a
waste
of
taxpayers
money
that
truly
is,
and
it
should
have
been
simplistic
and
I.
Think
when
you
were
the
president,
it
was
simplistic,
although
it's
impossible
for
you
to
know
everything.
Every
board
member
I
agree
with
you,
so
I
think
the
policy
should
just
be
the
way.
The
policy
is
no
board.
A
Member
can
call
the
solicitor
independently
other
than
the
board
president,
which
has
been
intact
for
many
years
or
the
superintendent
designated.
Excuse
me,
one
of
his
administrators,
probably
to
call
the
to
call
the
solicitor
it's
very
simple.
We
don't
have
to
send
out
10
emails,
10
responses,
10
telephone
calls
that
convolutes
the
purpose
of
it
Mr
Johnson,
please.
Oh.
Q
I
think
that,
having
a
just
from
a
leadership
perspective
and
making
sure
that
we
have
don't
have
multiple
people
contacting
on
the
same
subject
matter,
it
makes
sense
to
me
to
go
through
the
board.
President
I
would
propose
that
the
language
be
tweaked
a
little
bit
to
include
board
president
because,
as
it
stands,
it
says
board
action.
A
A
H
What's
going
to
be
different,
is
that
I
just
want
to
hope
that
if
we
send
it
back
versus,
are
you
able
to
make
modifications
and
tweak
it
right
here
or
not
and
move
it
forward?
Because
it's
sad
because
of
these
very
things
we
were
talking
about
the
bill
last
time
who
can
contact,
send
it
back
to
admin
policy
and
we're
repeating
the
cycle
all
again
and
I
just
want
to
point
out
that
this
process
won't
work
if
people
don't
communicate
in
advance
of
something
coming
to
the
meeting.
H
H
Good
governance
also
talks
about
the
reason
we
work
hard
to
send
an
agenda
out
on
Friday
is
with
the
premise
that
some
things
are
communicated
in
advance.
So
we
can
either
come
prepared
to
address
them
or
actually
address
them,
like
the
good
example,
is
Mr
Martin's
comment
about
the
wording
of
the
president.
L
A
I
think
what
you
have
also
forgotten
to
say
or
didn't
say,
is
that
we
had
administrative
policy
meeting
in
December.
The
subject
matter
was
brought
up
again.
It
came
out
of
administrative
policy
meeting
which
one
two
three
four
board
members
attended,
that
no
change
from
the
original
policy
would
be
brought
forward.
A
Sure
Mr
ginhardt
is
one
Mrs
cross,
I'm.
Sorry,
three
myself,
Mr
sandowski!
K
A
Which
emotion
that
kept
the
amendment
to
the
motion
did
not
have
a
second
okay?
So
second
it
okay.
Do
you
want
to
read
the
amendment?
Please.
B
Okay,
so
the
motion
is
to
table
the
policy
Mr
Sadowski.
U
H
Madam
chair
before
you
do
that
Madam
president
Mrs
eidenberg
discussed
a
correction
I,
don't
think
it
was
ever
submitted
to
get
a
chance
to
get
a.
If
you're
withdrawing
that
commentary,
then
they
can
proceed,
but
I
want
to
make
sure
that
is
not
forgotten
to
add
the
present.
Q
I
appreciate
that
what
I'm
hearing
is
that
it
was
already
taken
back
to
yes,
admin
policy
and
reviewed,
and
the
comment
that
I
heard
was
that
it
was
that
no
comments
came
out
of
that
into
forward
it,
as
is
I
personally,
would
feel
more
comfortable
with
making
sure
we
have
some
definition
there,
but
I
don't
necessarily
need
it,
but
I
I
was
just
making
a
point
to
what
our
protocol
was
in
the
past
and
that's
not
clearly
reflected,
but
I
can
withdraw
Madam.
H
K
H
K
Right
so
can
we
add,
can
we
add
the
board
president
can
contact
the
solicitor
and
vote
on
that.
A
What
we
want
to
do
is
we
want
to
approve
zero
zero,
five,
which
that
includes
that
board
members
can't
call
solicitor
and.
A
Yes
and
then
with
Mr
Martin's
ideas
of
cutting
the
pages
down
and
making
it
shorter.
Is
that
that's
the
thought
of
your
process.
L
That
and
the
board
chairman
contacting
the
superintendent
to
set
the
agenda.
I
I
I
anybody
that
read
this
of
all
the
people
that
went
to
those
meetings,
I,
don't
know
why
they
would
agree
to
that.
We
never
did
it
as
a
board.
Chairman
I,
don't
think
the
other
board
chairman
did
either.
If
you
want
to
add
the
superintendent
or
their
designee,
then
that
makes
sense,
because
I
talked
to
Mr
Greenwood.
L
H
I
think
that
that
to
simplify
this,
you
can
actually
you
talk
about
blg's,
specifically
and
I.
Think
the
way
to
keep
from
losing
the
whole
thing
again
is
to
address
Corrections
in
the
bogs,
which
is
how
to
solve
the
problem
effectively.
We
operate
on
the
depressed,
but
it's
not
in
writing.
That
is
a
superintendent's
designee,
that's
somewhere
else,
but
it
does
not
preclude
Mr
Martin's
Point
of
clarity
that
de
facto
it
is
a
superintendent
or
designate,
because
I've
always
had
that
right
and
I
stayed
in
another
area.
H
But
he's
wants
to
make
it
clear
in
the
Bog
and
I
don't
disagree
with
that.
The
other
issue
is
there's
a
bog
that
is
not
in
alignment
with.
How
we
function
is
what
his
point
is,
and
it
limits
the
board
president,
who
actually
has
been
the
one
who's
able
to
contact
and
Madam
Secretary
if
I'm
speaking
incorrectly,
isn't
that
the
issue
that
we're
talking
about
yes
as
a
person
who
also
helps
craft
the
policy
for
us,
so
there's
a
way
to
move
forward,
I
think
and
still
get
some
of
these
nuances
fixed.
B
Be
right,
that's
been
writing.
I,
think
that
was
just
it
was
from
many
years
ago,
and
the
policies
were
adopted
or
designee
was
everywhere
and
was
asked
to
be
taken
out,
so
it
would
be
superintendent
or
designee
was
understood.
So
all
of
our
policies
unfortunately
have
superintendent
or
designee
is
understood.
L
And
how
I
I
agree?
I,
don't
understand.
I
I
got
by
what
it
says.
The
English
language
says
what
it
says.
It
says
something
different
than
the
way
we
do
it.
If
you
want
the
board
Watchers
to
call
the
superintendent
all
the
time
that
about
the
agenda,
I'll
be
more
than
happy
to
do
that,
I.
Don't
think!
That's
what
he
won.
A
Thank
you.
That's
not
what
I'm
saying,
but
you
know
this
is
rather
interesting
because
not
to
belabor
this,
but
this
all
came
about
last
year
with
committees,
organization,
duties,
Etc.
A
It
was
firmly
established
that
there
weren't
any,
although
it
had
worked
for
at
least
17
years,
that
I
know
of
or
more
that
we
should
put
this
all
in
writing
and
it's
good
that
we're
doing
this
we're
following
exactly
what
you
wanted
and
now
we've
had
it
back
to
administrative
I've
been
committee
we
have
negotiated.
We
have
listened
there's
about
maybe
15
people,
I,
don't
have
in
front
of
me
that
are
on
that
committee,
teachers,
administrators,
etc,
etc.
A
A
So
I
have
the
feeling
that,
even
though
the
board
wanted
to
have
committees
in
writing,
it's
going
to
be
redundant
of
a
board
member
wanting
something
changed.
So
at
this
point
in
time,
I
think
emotions
on
the
floor.
Emotion
has
been
sected.
Excuse
me
please,
to
approve
policy:
zero,
zero,
five
I
call
for
a
vote:
okay,
okay,.
K
A
C
Well,
I
mean
I
did
have
a
question
in
regards
to
what
was
discussed
at
the
policy
meeting,
because
we
don't
know
anything
that
was
discussed.
A
I
We
had
a
pretty
pretty
good
discussion
on
it
and
the
big
item
was
individual
board
members
contacting
the
lawyer.
That
was
the
item
that
I
had
a
question
on
the
Senate
the
table
and
sent
it
back,
and
we
didn't
come
to
a
an
agreement
that
it
would
make
more
sense
to
cut
that
back.
So
we
don't
have
repeated
phone
calls
and
other
bills,
and
then
there
were
some
other
minor
items.
The
the
items
that
Mr
Martin
brought
up
as
I
recall,
were
not
discussed.
I
So
these
are
newer
items
because
I,
don't
recall
those
specific
nuances
in
verbiage
in
the
policy
being
discussed.
A
Tabled
it
at
that
point,
we're
now
talking
about
the
admin,
your
policy
meeting,
that
we
had
right
for
an
hour
and
a
half
or
two
hours
and,
as
you
just
stated
mostly
it
was
talked
about
the
solicitor
board,
members,
etc,
etc.
It
came
out
of
your
committee
with
the
rest
of
us
here
that
there
was
n't
going
to
be
changed.
B
Okay,
so
this
is
a
motion
to
approve
policy:
zero,
zero,
five,
yes
organization,
okay,
Mrs
brancato,
no
Mrs
Crossing,
yes,
Mrs
eilenberg,.
C
J
R
K
Okay,
moving
on
be
it
resolved
that
the
Centennial
School
District
Board
of
school
directors,
8.2
approves
the
placement
of
student
19-21
at
Keystone,
Freedom
Academy
for
at
least
the
remainder
of
the
2022-2023
school
year
and
not
to
exceed
180
days.
Should
the
placement
be
extended
through
the
2023-2024
school
year,
District
costs
not
to
exceed
221.40
per
day.
Parent
will
be
responsible
for
transportation
as
per
the
attached.
Second,
oh,
who
somebody
wanted
to
discuss
this
one
yeah?
Okay,
all
in
favor.
C
K
Any
opposed
any
abstentions.
Motion
passes
nine,
nothing
moving
on
8.3,
approves
the
job
description
for
school
police
officer,
supervisor
of
School
Safety
and
Security
and
school
security
officer
as
per
the
attached.
Second,
all
in
favor,
oh.
H
This
motion
approves
the
job
description
for
those
positions.
There
are
very
two
different
ones.
One
is
a
person
who
is
actual
same
law
enforcement
credentials
as
a
police
officer.
A
school
police
officer
defined
by
the
Pennsylvania
code,
actually
works
for
the
district
and
can
be
armed
or
unarmed
the
boys
at
the
board's
choice,
but
they
are
a
police
officer
in
essence,
employed
by
the
police
by
the
school
district.
Unlike
SRO,
which
doesn't
is
not
our
staff.
H
A
security
officer
is
just
that
security
personnel,
which
is
similar
to
what
we
have
in
a
high
school
right
now,
but
those
jobs
are,
would
be
part
of
budget
process
being
upgraded
to
fit.
They're
really
called
monitors
right
now,
and
we
would
want
to
put
a
discussion
in
the
briefing
you
had
on
the
current
school
safety
status,
upgrade
them
with
duties
and
responsibilities
to
function
as
security
officers
within
the
school
district.
H
So
it
will
be
both
positions,
the
school
police
officer,
which
we
have
to
use
that
term
by
Pennsylvania
code
for
the
official
when
we
code
them
in
the
system,
but
they
were
served
basically
as
our
true
supervisor
of
School,
Safety
and
Security.
In
the
district,
okay,
so
very
they
would
know
they
would
supervise
those
other
people.
So.
H
No
they're
actual,
they
have
to
have
the
same
credentials
as
a
real
police
officer.
Will
they
carry
a
weapon?
They
that's
the
board's,
Choice
okay,
but
they
are
authorized
and
have
the
same
credentials
to
be
armed
or
unarmed,
school
police
officer
because
they're
our
employee.
It
is
your
choice
for
them
to
be
armed
or
not.
In
many
cases,
people
have
that
person
as
an.
T
Are
employee,
so
why
can
we
not
go
the
school
school
resource
officer?
Why
can
we
not
go
that
route?
We.
H
Don't
know
whether,
first
of
all,
they
don't
work
for
us
every
day
they
work
for
the
municipality
assigned
to
our
districts
that
are
not
our
employee,
okay.
Secondly,
they
are
someone
that
we
don't
control
all
the
funding
in
this
process.
What
your
school
resource
officer
model
had
been
is
a
50
50
split
with
funding
right
and
honestly
trying
to
be
careful
here.
H
T
Okay
and
the
school
security
officer
is
that
is
so
I
don't
understand
what
kind
of
training
a
school
I
would
recurity
officer
would
have.
H
So
we
went
in
detail
in
an
executive
session
and
it's
in
the
job
description,
but
we
have
this
lengthy
discussion
and
you're
briefing
of
the
current
status
of
school
safety
that
we're
required
to
give
annually.
These
are
coming
forward
as
part
of
that
discussion
that
the
green
light
was
given
to
the
board
by
the
board
to
move
forward
with
these.
Now
these
don't
exist
like
you're
doing
mtss
until
the
board
allocates
resources,
so
that
would
be
part
of
the
budget
process
for
next
school
year.
H
For
you
to
decide
whether
you
will
actually
fund
these
positions,
our
task
was
to
bring
a
model
forward
to
improve
Safety
and
Security
in
our
schools.
This
is
part
of
the
plan,
as
but
school
resource
officers
can't
always
be
guaranteed
to
us.
That's
dependent
upon
the
municipality.
Also
agreeing
to
do
it.
H
Have
talked
to
the
police
Chiefs,
then
the
next
part
is
a
conversation
around
budget,
because,
if
you
go
to
the
municipality,
we
need
the
board's
Authority
as
part
of
budget
process
to
go
to
say
we're
willing
to
allocate
resources.
So
in
your
next
one
of
your
budget
meetings,
that's
going
to
be
brought
forward
to
see
if
the
board
wants
us
to
have
that
conversation,
we
can't
go
to
the
municipality
and
not
say
that
we
have
funds
that
are
going
to
support
this
initiative.
H
Is
a
plan
to
talk
to
them
to
see
if
they
will
also
be
committed
to
redoing?
That
model
also,
but
I
will
tell
you
part
of
their
conversation
that
we
remain
aware
of
from
the
Chiefs
is
they
did
not
believe
their
Township
is
going
to
be
in
a
position
to
say
we
want
to
have
one
year
you
say
you're
going
to
fund
it
in
the
next
year,
you're,
not
because
it
throws
their
Staffing
off.
T
T
You
don't
think
we
need
to
disciplinary
they
actually,
so
they
clean
up
the
mess
they
actually.
H
T
T
A
T
A
T
C
H
H
The
other
piece
that
we
do
have
numbers
on,
that
Mr
Greenwood
is
going
to
bring
forward
and
next
time
we
present
a
budget
is
telling
the
board
here's
what
we
know
about
what
we
were
told
from
the
Chiefs
that
it
would
cost
you
if
you
wanted
school
resource
officers
in
that
was
a
proposal
of
how
we
staff
our
building
and
I'm
jumping
ahead.
But
the
example
was
having
a
resource
officer
housed
at
each
Middle
School,
who
also
addresses
issues
at
the
elementary
school
and
the
feeder
patterns
of
the
elementary
schools.
H
So
one
in
log
one
in
Klinger
to
be
equally
just
because
both
chiefs
were
here,
our
school
police
officers
house
at
the
high
school
to
be
a
first
responder
there,
but
also
supervises
all
our
personnel
and
Safety
and
Security
for
the
entire
district
is
a
structure
correct.
The
Chiefs
have
provided
us
estimates
on
what
an
officer
cost
the
board
will
be
asked:
here's
what
the
dollar
value
you
want
us
to
keep
proceeding
with
this
plan.
H
Knowing
that
here's,
what's
going
to
be
that
you're
going
to
have
to
allocate
the
budget
and
then
we
would
then
go
back
to
the
Chiefs,
develop
a
conversation
with
them
to
present
to
their
municipalities,
because
they
don't
have
the
authority
to
say
we're
going
to
do
this.
The
municipalities
will
have
everything
from
Chief.
Do
you
have
someone
who
you
want
to
sign
there
or
do
you
need
us
to
hire
a
new
officer
to
be
dedicated
to
the
schools?
C
A
L
L
H
L
K
Can
we
call
for
the
vote
for
8.3
to
approve
foreign.
I
F
J
K
H
We
needed
addressing
also
the
audit
findings
that
we
avoid
it,
as
you
remember
before,
it
is
also
not
a
new
FTE.
It's
a
ft
that
already
exists.
The
transportation
department
has
agreed
to
trade
off,
allow
this
person
to
help
them
and
when
they're
not
doing
technology
work
there
or
bus
driving,
they
would
have
other
duties
to
support
our
technology
within
the
school
district
also,
so
it
is
not
at
any
position.
It
is
repurposing
a
position
and
we
can't
do
that
without
an
approved
job
description.
I
J
J
B
K
C
Was
taking
it
you
know,
but
I
I
asked
for
it
to
be
separated.
You
know
simply
because
I
am
concerned
that
this
is
a
position
that
we
had
posted.
You
know
a
while
back
and
I'm
concerned
that
we
would
not
have
the
funding
for
it
next
year
or
or
have
the
free
money
for
next
year.
So
that's
why
I'm
concerned
about
this
position.
B
No
I'm
sorry
Mrs
Carlson,
yes,
Lynch,
Mrs,
Lynch,
yes,
Mr
Sadowski,.
F
J
U
Q
For
initial
distribution,
discussion,
91a
policy,
204
attendance,
91b
policy,
246
School,
wellness
and
91c
policy,
918
parent
and
family
engagement,
9.2
policies
presented
for
adoption,
none.
L
You,
madam
chairman,
anybody
want
to
have
any
of
these
question
if
not
be
resolved.
The
Centennial
Board
of
school
directors
approves
to
schedule
bills,
Investments
cafeteria
fund
budget
reports
and
general
fund
cash
report.
Summary
December
2022.
As
per
the
attached,
that's
10.1
10.2.
We
approve
the
2022
budget
transfers
for
December.
As
per
the
attachment.
There
are
none.
10.3
approves
the
pending
bills
list,
as
pretty
attached
in
10.4
accepts
the
pre-approved
bills
list
as
per
the
attached.
The
second
second,
all
favor,
aye
aye
opposed.
Thank
you
unanimous.
A
A
The
administrative
policy
meeting
is
when
is
that
please
it's
next
Tuesday
the
7th
Tuesday
yeah.
So
if
we
could
have
that
before
the
next
board,
member
which
I
meeting
I
think
it's
the
28th,
is
it
not
the
24th
okay,
so
that
we
could
have
an
idea
of
what
you
would
like
to
have
changed,
because
this
is
the
first
time
in
many
many
years.
We're
actually
going
to
have
this
in
writing.
A
So
I
would
say
at
this
point
if
you'd
be
so
kind
to
do
so.
Some
of
you
will
still
go
through
the
course
of
bringing
it
up
in
the
meeting
I'm
aware
of
that.
If
you
would
be
kind
enough
to
help
us
out
here
so
that
we
don't
spend
2023
or
policies
here,
excuse
me
zero,
zero.
Five,
it
would
be
much
appreciated.
Are
there
any
other
comments
or
discussion.
C
Just
a
general
comment:
I
I
think
we
are
to
be
very
pleased.
You
know
in
Centennial,
School
District
that
we
are
looking
for
a
new
secretary
of
education
in
Pennsylvania
that
has
roots
here
in
Centennial
Khalid
umem,
whereas
an
assistant
principal
and
principal,
at
clingham,
Middle
School
right
in
the
old
days.
A
A
Q
Thank
you,
District
policy.
We
have
an
admin
policy
meeting
next
Tuesday,
so
we'll
have
more
in
the
coming
weeks
regarding
that
or
at
our
next
meeting
I'd
like
to
also
Bucks
County
IU,
our
meeting
is
Tuesday.
It's
the
first
one
for
the
new
year,
so
I
will
have
further
information
on
that
and,
if
you
don't
mind,
Mrs
Lynch,
the
legislative
council
is
also
coming
from
that
as
well.
Okay,
thank
you.
F
Thank
you.
A
few
directors
myself
included,
joined
a
call
with
State
Rep
Brian
Monroe
in
December.
It
was
facilitated
by
psba,
advocacy
manager,
Jamie
zubich,
and
we
appreciated
the
opportunity
advocacy
day
has
been
set
for
Tuesday
April
18th
in
Harrisburg.
It
is
the
culmination
of
the
policy
Institute
which
I've
been
attending
monthly
since
last
year.
It
is
a
complimentary
event:
that'll
bring
School
directors,
business
managers
and
superintendents
together
to
advocate
for
key
education
issues,
some
of
which
were
set
forth
at
the
meeting
that
Mrs
cross
and
Mrs
ilumerg
and
I
attended
last
year.
F
Lastly,
psba
has
streamlined
their
email,
Communications
and
video
news
updates.
This
year
they
sent
some
interesting
updates
on
legislation,
advocacy,
education,
news
and
a
variety
of
forms.
So
if
you
aren't
subscribed
to
a
newsletter
or
three
or
four
already
look
into
the
countdown
which
is
new
and
several
others,
the
legislative
Edition
may
be
of
interest
to
many
of
us
here
and
I
subscribe
to
the
liaison
Edition
early
last
year.
It's
been
helpful
in
keeping
up
on
what
psba
would
like
Folks
at
my
seat
to
say
in
our
reports.
F
H
As
you
know,
the
month
of
January
is,
as
mentioned
by
my
colleague,
is
School
director
recognition
month.
We
begin
this
process
by
recognizing
our
school
directors
throughout
our
social
media
and
web
page.
Some
of
you
may
have
seen
your
pictures
and
recognition
on
social
media
Additionally
you
receive
as
a
kickoff
to
school
board.
Appreciation
month.
H
Your
special
chocolatey
bar
in
front
of
you
I've
also
been
asked
on
behalf
of
psba,
who
unanimously
approved
on
June
and
reaffirmed
in
December
3rd
2022,
whereas
the
role
of
locally
elected
school
officials
has
served
the
Commonwealth
of
Pennsylvania
and
locally
local
communities
and
meeting
the
needs
of
public
education
since
the
passage
of
free
school
Act
of
1834
and
whereas
the
school
boards
have
discharged
and
responsibilities
to
public
education
in
a
manner
which
has
placed
public
education
in
the
Forefront
of
our
educational
system
and
whereas
local
elected
officials
have
distinguished
themselves
and
their
communities
in
the
non-paid
non-paid
volunteer,
Public
Service
commitment
and
whereas
the
contribution
of
these
men
and
women
should
be
recognized
and
appreciated
by
those
who
benefit
from
the
workings
or
the
public
school
system.
H
Again,
we
kicked
it
off
already
by
publicizing
in
our
social
media
and
our
website
we
wanted
to
at
this
meeting,
provide
some
recognition
again
and
read
the
proclamation
as
requested
and
we'll
finish
out
in
our
last
meeting
with
a
recognition
and
say
thank
you
for
your
service
and
your
volunteer
and
unpaid
service
to
your
community,
and
quite
often
it
means
that
you
have
given
a
lot
of
time,
sweat
and
sacrifice
of
your
own
resources
to
do
this.
Job.
A
C
Thank
you
very
good
point:
Mrs
Lynch.
We
had
our
reorganization
meeting
last
night.
U.S
Julie
was
appointed
again
as
president
for
another
year
we
will
have
a
new
Vice
chair,
Bob
hickey
from
Council
Rock,
School
District
and
the
secretary
will
continue
to
be
Montu
Patel
from
New
Hope
Soul,
bearing
as
mentioned
by
Dr
kaval.
We
did
get
a
grant,
you
know
for
from
the
PA
and
other
than
that.
C
We
just
had
some
general
information
pieces
that
were
approved
last
night,
including
finally
getting
a
new
walk-in
freezer
for
the
culinary
arts
program.
A
Thank
you
and
congratulations
on
being
president.
Once
again,
thank
you.
Communications
we
actually
have
none.
I,
don't
seem
to
think
that
we
have
additional
public
comments
by
residents.
A
Having
said
that,
scheduled
board
meetings
or
events,
Mr
goddessen,
please
I
got.
