A
A
B
I
forget
if
it
was
Wall
Street
Journal
aware
they
were
making
the
observation
that
the
the
more
the
more
leisurely
accommodating
lifestyle
in
Europe
in
terms
of
work
and
work
hours
and
vacation.
B
B
Is
a
you
know,
looking
over
the
last
20
30
years,
so
big
Trend,
that
you
know
they're
losing
their
competitiveness
and
it
was,
it
was
making
that
correlation.
So
I.
B
A
A
number
of
companies
in
Europe
that
are
now
experimenting
with
the
the
four
day
week,
four
day
work
week
and
and
to
they've
noticed
an
increase
in
productivity.
So
very,
very
weird.
B
Yeah
well
they're
they're
using
really
hard
data
in
terms
of
GDP.
So
you
can't
really
refute
that,
but
you
can
debate
the
cause
of
it
right
if
it's,
because
of
that
right.
A
A
I'm
willing
to
give
it
a
shot,
you
know
if
somebody
twists
my
arms
all
right,
should
we
go
ahead
and
dive
in
here
we
are
recording,
so
welcome
to
the
August
meeting
regular
meeting
of
the
Centos
Automotive
special
interest
group.
We
are
here
to
talk
about
automotive
and
anything
related
to
our
Auto
SD
thing.
Auto
is
the
version
of
Centos
and
we
don't
really
have
a
whole
lot
today.
Leo
do
you
have
any
technical
updates
you
might
want
to
share
with
us.
D
D
Their
arm
is
also
set
up
an
arm
a
naval
lab
as
well.
I
was
going
to
be
there
and
we
were
going
to
be
their
first
use
users
but
I'm
sure
that
would
serve
a
higher
purpose
in
in
software
overall.
For
other
members,.
D
Ava
is
a
is
a
developer
computer
from
arm
for
you
to
build
and
test
whatever
software
you
want
to
do
in
on
the
on
their
machine.
It's
basically
support
system
ready
and
there's
this
already
product
as
well.
In
there,
this
machine
is
used
in
in
Sophie
with
a
group
open,
Automotive
Group
sponsored
by
arm,
so
everything
they're
doing
there
right
now,
because
it's
arm
Barn
based
group
is
happens
on
that
machine.
A
Okay,
okay,
good
thanks
so
yeah,
it's
an
80
link
platform.
That's
set
up
to
slot
into
a
2u
rack.
A
It
takes
up
two
two
units
in
a
rack
and
it's
meant
to
be
very
easy
to
build
on.
So
we
use
are
used
planning
to
use
it
as
a
build
server
for
generic
arm
ar-64.,
specifically
for
Sophie.
D
Yeah,
so
they
have
a
Federated
build
system
where
baseball
can
just
hook
hook
up
your
Hardware
as
a
node
into
that
and
then
trigger
builds
for
under
CI
Hub,
which
basically,
what
we
are
going
to
do
with
our
alt
test.
Your
Automotive
centers
training
images
for
Sophie
where's
that
machine.
C
A
As
the
the
the
stock
server
for
Sophie.
B
A
D
A
A
A
On
the
right
side,
there's
a
little
a
little
thought
balloon
or
speech
balloon
the
middle
button
on
the
right.
A
The
risk
of
let's
see,
with
the
risk
of
doing
the
doing,
weird
things
to
Google.
Let
me
see
if
I
can
do
this.
A
B
Okay,
so
you're
you're,
using
using
a
web
browser
for
this
yes,
okay,
I'm
using
WebEx
I,
may
try
coming
back
in
with
a
web
browser
then,
and.
D
D
So
moving
on
I
did
a
presentation
yesterday
and
Netflix
about
using
kubernet
about
the
blueprint
for
using
kubernet
CML
files
for
workload
definition
which
basically
it's
our
quadlet
project-
this
it
was,
it
was
California
received
but
I
think
I'm
a
bit
biased
by
Sophie
blueprints.
They
expect
Martha
code
samples
and
things
like
that
where
so,
if
it's
more
just
specification
conversion
conversation
I
now
have
the
next
use
case.
Meeting
I'll
try
to
show
up
with
an
implementing
the
idea
with
one
of
the
use
cases
or
blueprints.
D
D
I
actually
have
a
repository
for
what
what
it
presented.
Okay,.
D
A
D
Other
than
that
I'm
looking
at
building
author
in
a
fedora
based
image
way
to
imply
building
rods
in
the
container
as
well
remember
to
be
built
from
source
for
now,
whether
the
first
step
they
are
they
are,
they
are
actually
very
opening
to
alternatives
to
build
system
to
build
their
stack
to
make
the
available
in
other
platforms
rather
than
their
own
image.
Right
now
is
a
Ubuntu
One,
something
that's
not
I'm,
not
directly
related
to
Automotive,
but
was
triggered
by
Automotive.
D
Is
that
as
a
work
in
progress
for
for
someone
from
the
Fedora
Coral
Westing,
they
are
working
on
building
Ross
in
a
con
in
a
West
in
a
core
OS
container,
so
you
can
just
install
Ross
as
austrial
layer
as
part
of
your
host,
either
super
blue
or
federal,
correct
operating
system,
for
example,
quite
interesting
still
early
stage,
but
one
engineer
from
nurse
has
look
at
it
and
just
help
them
out.
Due
to
my
exposure
to
Ross,
I
chose
where
my
Echo
updates.
Okay,.
A
Great
and
just
so
everybody
knows
the
reason
why
we
have
an
interest
in
Ross
Robot,
Operating
System
is
that
Ross
2
is
used,
who
who
used
for
autoware
and
a
number
of
other
Adas
systems.
So
it's
in
our.
We
feel
it's
in
our
best
interest
to
make
sure
that
it
is
supported
on
auto
SD
and
the
first
way
to
do
that
is
to
get
it
into
Fedora.
So
that
has
been
a
work
in
progress
now
for
oh
several
months
and
we've
restarted
the
Fedora
robotics
special
interest
group.
A
D
Also
flock
is
happening
this
week
mentioned
in
his
mold
Tech
talk
section
or
basically
see
it
updates
and
Rob
bars
could
be
briefly
mentioned
on
that
presentation.
Zone.
A
But
yeah
flock
is
going
on
and
the
all
of
the
talks
for
flock
I
believe
are
going
to
be
posted
automatically.
So
I
think
that
they
should
be
available
by
the
end
of
the
week.
If
that's
not,
and
they
do
require
some
manual
intervention.
It'll
be
probably
end
of
next
week.
C
Just
an
addition
to
the
technical
status,
there
is
also
a
new
build
in
the
Centos
Automotive
Ripple,
which
is
coming
from
the
center
stream
qmo
KVM
build
it
will
ship
the
device
related
packages,
so
there
will
be
possible
to
export
the
video
screen
from
Kim
KVM
to
the
bus
session
that
will
be
used
for
trying
to
run
it
as
qm
load.
On
top
of
the
outer
SD.
C
C
B
So
is
the
Auto
SD
Sig,
looking
at
autoware.
D
Is
used
in
Sofia,
it's
a
very
strong
presence
in
Sophie.
We
do
run
it
currently
in
our.
We
have
a
Sophie
ltsd
image
with
ships
all
power,
but
it's
basically
running
on
a
Ubuntu
container,
so
we're
based
we're
basically
looking
at.
Is
this
switch
from
using
Ubuntu
to
build
it
on
either
Centos
or
Fedora
image?
Instead,.
D
The
Sophie
stack
like
Sophia's
is
using
Patriots
as
their
container
orchestration
platform,
and
they
are
actually
using
still.
They
are
kind
of
using
containers
as
well.
D
Not
being
rebuilt
on
different
container
based
image,
one
of
the
reasons
for
that
is
to
they
are
trying
to
make
the
image
a
bit
lighter
than
or
over
more
optimized
what
they
are
today.
The
images
is
kind
of
around
10
gigabytes
of
size.
Currently,
so,
basically
it
has
everything
installed
into
an
image,
and
so
one
things
I'm
trying
to
see
is
how
far
it
can
go
as
it
is
right
now
to
a
split
into
smaller
and
more
optimized
images.
D
Inside
of
the
current
way
of
doing
things
today,
they're,
they
are
kind
of
also
trying
to
figure
figure
out
how
it
could
it
can
have
a
one
build
system
to
build
different
image
formats,
so
they
want
to
basically
create
VM
images,
bare
metal
images,
container
images
all
from
the
same
Search
definition.
D
If
you
will,
we
do
have
some
collapse,
build
that
might
be
able
to
accomplish
that.
So
that's
what
I'm,
there's
there's
several
I
think
there's
several
motivations
behind
and
doing
this
result
for.
A
And
I
think
that
that's
all
I've
got
planned
I
wanted
to
ask
if
anybody
had
any
questions
or
I
know,
there
are
certain
folks
who
are
doing
Hardware
ports
see
how
things
are
going
with
that.
A
Okay,
well,
I
I,
don't
have
any
other
business
today,
but
if
anybody
else
does
now
it's
time
to
bring
it
up,
otherwise
we
can
maybe
close
out
a
few
minutes.
I
think
foreign.
D
A
Indeed,
out
of
stuff
to
talk
about
so
I
will
let
everybody
go.
Thank
you
all
very
much
for
coming
it's
great
to
see
everybody
on
our
monthly
Cadence
and
we
will
be
back
and
make
sure
to
to
pop
in
on
the
mailing
list
or
on
the
chat
Channel.
If
you
have
any
questions
or
updates,
or
anything
you'd
like
to
talk
about
thanks
for
coming.
