boils
down
to
is
somebody
started
a
rumor
that
Microsoft
wanted
to
go
to
the
cloud
for
Windows,
something
similar
to
what
a
Chromebook
is

guess
but
they're
in
currently
in
court,
over
an
acquisition
of
Activision
and
blizzard
with
the
Federal
Trade
Commission,
which
is
attempting
to
block
that
and
there's

It
started
a
bunch
of
rumors
and
at
this
point
no
one
knows
for
sure.

trying
to
get
to
a
Windows

internet-based
windows
or
not,
but
the
likelihood

there

no
indication
right

windows
will

into
a
streaming
only

are
so
many

cases

practical
gaming,

connected

poor
internet
connection
and

So
that
would
almost
certainly
destroy
windows
and
the
hardware
manufacturers
that
rely
on
PC
sales.

Microsoft
knows
it
wouldn't
work.

myths.
I
thought
this
was
a
pretty
good
article,
because
it's
a
lot
of
my

hear
about
them.
First,
one
is
USB.
Sticks
must
be
ejected
and
many
people
claim
that
the
USB
storage
media,
such
as
flash
drives
and
external
USB
drives,
must
be
ejected
via
safely
remove
Hardware,
but
it's
this
is
still
necessary,
but
is
it
still
necessary?
Ejecting
USB
storage
media
ensures
that
the
transferred
and
stored
data
remains
intact.

recognized
this
problem

introduced

solution

Another
myth
concerns
the
fragmentation
of
drives
and
data
under
windows.
It's
often
said
that
these
drives
must
be
defragmented
regularly
to
maintain
their
speed,
but
defragmentation,
isn't
it
even
necessary
today
modern
drives,
especially
solid-state
storage
ssds,
no
longer
need
defragmentation,
newer,
Drive
store
and
retrieve
data
differently
than
the
older
drives.

fragmentation

files

they

stored
in

smaller
fragments

different
locations
on

hard

without
doing
their
due
diligence.

CEO
and
CFO
were
fired
as
a
result
of
this
hack.

company

sued
them
due
to
their
failure
to
set
up
to
adequate
internal
controls
and
to
meet
their
obligations
of
collegial
cooperation
and
supervision.
