A
Community
welcome
to
the
common
metrics
working
group
meeting
for
may
12
2022.
We
have
a
few
things
on
the
agenda
to
talk
about
today.
We
don't
have
a
ton
of
stuff,
but
we'll
review
the
action
items
from
the
previous
meeting
review,
some
open
issues
and
pr's
we'll
talk
about
the
process
for
reviewing
old
metrics.
Although
we
might
not
talk
about
that
because
that's
what
I
think
that
was
shawn's
action
item
and
assuming
the
node
makes
six
he's
usually
a
few
minutes
late
because
of
the
bus.
D
I
did
I
did
put
in
a
pr
to
add
some
a
formatting
recommendation
to
the
the
metrics
template
and
I
think
that
would
be
that's
part
of
this
group.
Yes,
no,
I
had
merged.
B
It
anyway,
so,
okay,
it's
too.
A
D
So
so
it
is
it's
kind
of
general
guidance
on
the
formatting
for
bulleted
lists
and
it
does.
It
does
affect
the.
I
think,
some
of
the
some
of
the
metrics
that
are
being
revisited.
A
A
D
A
Cool
okay,
so
action
items
from
the
previous
meeting
sean
was
going
to
go
through
the
release
metrics
to
determine
next
steps
for
revisiting,
but
we
don't
have
sean
today
because
he's
big
in
finland.
That's
what
he's
told
me.
A
And
then
matt,
you
were
going
to
add
a
drop
down
option
to
the
spreadsheet.
To
be
honest,.
B
I
did
it
it's
in
common
right
now,
so
if
there's
not
much
to
look
at,
I
mean.
C
A
C
I
need
one
minute,
I'm
just
trying
to
log
from
my
laptop.
So
just
let
you
know,
I'm
here
just
need
one
minute.
A
Okay
yeah,
so
we
won't
hit
you
with
your
action
items
right
away.
I'll
give
you
we'll
give
you
some
time.
Let
you
get
settled
so
while
we,
while
we
wait,
let's
do
the
pull
requests
because
we
got
several
pull
requests
and
I
wasn't
sure
if
anyone
had
looked
at
these
yet
so,
let's
look
at
them
together,
because
I
had
some
questions
about
them.
I'm
not
sure
who
this
this
person
is.
Are
they.
B
They've
been
recently
very
active
with
respect
to
really
about
the
metrics
revisions.
Okay,
recently,
meaning
the
last
week.
Probably-
and
I
mean
I
think,
the
recommendations,
at
least
in
the
dei
working
group
have
been
in
line
with
like
okay,
so
the
these
I
think,
I'm
guessing.
These
are
revision,
requests
or
revisions
to
existing
metrics
yeah.
A
A
Google
summer
of
code,
okay,
one
of
the
have
we
accepted
the
google
summer
of
code
people,
or
is
this
someone
who
wants
to
be
a
google
summer
of
goods?
It's.
B
A
No,
I
didn't
I
just
like
to
know,
because
you
know,
if
it's
one
of
these
people,
then
they
probably
have
a
mentor
that
if
there
are
any
questions,
we
can
also
talk
to
the
mentor
and.
D
B
C
B
A
Yeah
this
one,
so
this
is
this-
is
just
updating
the
copyright
on
two
things.
That's
fine,
but
one
is
one,
is
the
the
license.
C
D
With
so
with
with
copyright,
the
the
copyright
goes
from
the
date
of
creation
of
the
document
to
the
to
the
current
date.
However,
so
that's
this
style
has
kind
of
gained
popularity
in
website
design
where
you
have
the
range
and
the
yeah
so
the
so
it
would
be
the
the
date
of
creation
for
the
document
or
the
website
to
the
current
date.
However,
it's
also
perfectly
acceptable
to
just
have
the
the
updated
date.
D
Okay,
so
it's
it's
kind
of
a
a
matter
of
preference.
I
think
they
say
for
for
things
that
are
updated
quite
frequently
like
a
website
that
that
range
has
become
more
common,
but
just
the
the
updated
2022
copyright
date
should
be
acceptable.
A
Okay-
and
I
did
look
both
those
files
are
created
in
2019,
so.
A
A
A
A
A
A
So
so
this
one
oh
see
it
should
have
been
a
link
and
they.
A
Linked
the
text
so
from
my
standpoint,
this
one
is
probably
that
probably
makes
sense
this
one.
We
had
improperly
capitalized
github,
which
I
see
a
lot
of,
and
that
also
seems
to
seems
to
make
sense,
yep
and
then
this,
I
think,
is
probably
just
a
really
poorly
formatted
link.
B
A
Okay,
fair
enough
fair
enough
whoops
that
wasn't
what
I
meant
to
click
on.
Okay,
so
we'll
go
ahead
and
merge
this
one
too.
A
A
Okay,
any
objections
to
merging
this
one.
C
Can
you
check
the
address?
I
think
the
address
is
bitbucket
in
the
original
one
is
still
working,
I'm
not
sure.
C
A
D
I
am
impressed
with
the
the
level
of
detail
and
finding
that
yeah.
A
Okay,
are
we
I'm
just
closing
these
extra
tabs.
A
So
now
we'll
go
back
and
review
the
action
items
from
the
from
the
previous
meeting,
so
there
were
a
bunch
of
action
items
related
to
time
waiting
for
reviewer
action,
so
I've
I've
put
time
waiting
for
reviewer
action
on
the
on
the
agenda.
C
A
So
I'll
just
move
that
action
item
forward
next
time
and
we'll
we'll
get
to
that
metric
in
just
a
second,
so
reviewing
old
metrics.
Is
there
anything
we
need
to
talk
about
around
that
action
item
or
that.
B
D
Sean
is
sean
is
pretty
busy.
I've
got
value
on
my
to-do
list
for
this
week.
I
could.
I
could
try
to
do
the
common
one
as
well.
I'm
sure
he'll
get
to
it,
but
I
know,
but
I
do
know
he's
super
busy
as
well,
even
though
just.
B
D
A
Okay,
cool
anything
else,
we
need
to
add
to
the
agenda
before
we
talk
about
time,
waiting
for
reviewer
action.
A
Okay,
for
now,
do
you
want
to
just.
C
A
D
C
D
Yeah
github
github
has,
I
think,
five
or
six
different
user
types
that
they
define.
D
And
I'm
not
I'm
not
sure
about
git
lab
and-
and
it
also
changes
by
project
right,
so
some
some
projects
have
user
types
called
collaborators.
I
believe
who
are,
I
think
they
exist
outside
of
the
organization.
A
Yeah
we,
those
are
those-
are
github
permissions
so
before
we
before
we
change
that
I
mean
so
the
way
we
do
it
in
a
lot
of
cncf
projects.
Is
we
don't
necessarily
use
the
the
github
permissions?
We
we
tend
to
use
bots
that
control
all
the
things,
as
you
know,
and
within
so
I
wouldn't
say,
bots
or
viewer
type.
Whoever
take
that,
but
within
a
lot
of
the
the
cncf
projects,
we
have
board
members,
we
have
reviewers
and
we
have
maintainers
as
like
the
the
roles.
C
D
C
C
A
Yeah,
okay,
so
I
would
say
that
we
should
add
bots
as
something
that
we
filter
by
as
something
separate
from
the
reviewer
role
yeah,
because
so
the
bots
can
have
a
significant
amount
of
time.
So
there
are
a
lot
of
like
automated
ci
jobs
that
in
projects
like
kubernetes
and
k-native,
those
the
ci
jobs
can
take
a
little
while
to
run
and
those
those
could
skew
your
results.
If
you're
not
filtering
filtering
out
the
bots.
A
A
C
A
This
seems
seems
a
little
out
of
context,
but
if
it's
part
of
the
template.
D
Yeah
that'll
that'll
that'll
be
italicized
in
the.
D
In
the
markdown,
so
it
doesn't
so
it
does
kind
of
pop
out
in
a
way
that.
C
D
C
D
C
C
C
C
C
So
I'll
start
kickoff
process
for
both
the
metrics
one
is
times
waiting
for
reviewer
action
and
time
waiting
for
submitter
action.
Okay,
yep.
