From YouTube: CHAOSS Weekly Community Call 12-8-20
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
So
welcome
everyone
to
december
8th
community
call
for
chaos,
hope
everyone's
doing
good.
Today
we
do
have
a
few
things
to
talk
about,
even
though
we
have
kind
of
a
light
attendance
today,
because
I
know
there's
some
other
things
going
on
that
are
competing
with
this
meeting.
So
maybe
we'll
cut
it
a
little
short
to
give
people
a
chance
to
kind
of
do
other
things
as
well
today,
but
we
do
have
a
few
things.
A
So,
let's
just
hop
right
in
if
you
have
not
added
your
name
to
the
agenda,
please
if
you
would
like
to
do
so.
That
would
be
great
if
you
need
the
meeting.
If
anybody
needs
the
meeting
minutes,
we'll
drop
them
in
the
chat
one
more
time
here,
just
in
case
and
okay.
So
the
first
item
on
the
agenda
is
to
discuss
quickly
about
the
chaos
metrics
spreadsheet,
and
I
think
everyone
here
should
be
familiar
with
that.
But
just
in
case
we
do
keep
a
spreadsheet
of
all
of
the
metrics
for
each
working
group.
A
What
what
we're
working
on
what's
been
released
just
to
kind
of
keep
track
of
everything,
because
there's
so
many
of
them.
So
it
looks
like
someone
added
the
this
to
the
agenda
about
adding
in
a
new
status
that
would
be
called
pending.
Do
we
know
who
added
that
in
here?
Are
they
on
the
call.
C
C
No,
I
think
we
use
it.
I
I
think
there
was.
I
was
on
a
call
where
we
had
a
little
bit
of
a
misunderstanding
about
the
difference
between
in
progress
and
pending
and
which
was
sort
of
farther
along,
and
I
confess
right
now
I
can't
recall,
which
means
farther
along.
B
C
B
After
after
so
it
goes
considering
and
then
pending
and
then
in
progress
and
then
ready
and
ready
is
ready
for
release.
So
considering.
D
B
B
There
is
under
community
review,
okay,
so
it
goes
considering
pending
in
progress
ready
under
community
review
and
released,
and
so
it's
a
progression
of
steps.
Perhaps
the
perhaps
the
naming
is
confusing.
C
No,
I
mean,
I
think
I
think
the
tags
are.
I
mean
I
don't
because
anytime
you're
ready,
I
mean,
I
think
I
think
just
the
knowing
the
workflow
and
just
reviewing
it.
Maybe
maybe
maybe
the
specific
status
flow
could
be
put
at
the
top
of
the
spreadsheet
to
remind
us-
and
maybe
it's
already
there-
I
don't
recall
it
actually
is
and
let.
B
Me
let
me
drop
the
link
in
real
quick.
Maybe
the
description
of
pending
could
change
because
currently
it
says
want
to
add
it
for
release.
B
We
could
be
more
explicit
about
what
that
means
is
that
this
is
a
metric
we've
decided
to
work
on.
We
just
haven't
started
working
on
it,
yet.
C
Okay,
yeah
yeah.
That
might
be
a
little
bit
more
clear
and
I
think
just
the
progressiveness
of
the
status
is
sort
of
implied,
but.
C
C
E
Community-
I
guess
the
question
I
have
about.
I
think
it
generally
makes
sense
in
a
logical
progression,
but
knowing
that
we
do
have
a
post
publish
review
process
as
well,
where
we
started
to
say
look
at
things
that
we
have
published
and
even
refresh
them
occasionally
say
in
the
case
of
changing
the
word
reviews
or
changes
or
change
requests,
or
things
like
that,
where
the
language
has
been
slightly
updated.
E
Do
we
want
to
have
any
kind
of
additional
stage
in
the
progression
that
could
such
that
a
metric
is
being
re-reviewed,
even
though
it's
been
already
published
and
then
published
can
still
be
the
same
state,
but
something
to
indicate
that
either
does
it
like
bump
back
up
to
the
metric
is
currently
being
reviewed,
but
it
has
already
been
released.
So
it
would
technically
be
a
net
separate
step
or
tag.
B
I
think
it
basically
drops
back
a
step
to
under
community
review,
but
I
will
say
there:
there
isn't
really
a
formal
process
for
for
revising
or
edited
or
reviewing
metrics
once
they've
been
released.
It's
it's
very
informal.
How
we're
doing
it
currently.
C
B
I
think
that
I
think
the
discussion
there
was
kind
of,
depending
on
how
how
much
of
a
change
was
happening
to
it
like
a
trivial
change.
The
metric
wasn't
being
sent
to
review.
However,
a
name
change
was
big
enough
that
it
it
needs
to
go
to
review
yeah.
C
Just
mostly
because,
as
a
community,
I
think
we
want
to
have
some
stability
in
the
names
of
things
and
when
we
change
the
name,
it's
we
want
to
be.
We
just
don't
want
to
like
do
a
ton
of
that
right,
because
then
our
metrics
become
confusing.
Their
names
are
changing
all
the
time.
C
C
B
Shut
you
down,
yeah
I've.
Actually,
I've
been
avoiding
editing
this
because
I
I
wanted
to
leave
it
up
to
the
as
far
as
each
tab
goes.
Kind
of
each
working
group
has
their
workflow,
so
I
kind
of
I
consider
it
their
ownership.
So
I'm
not
I'm
not
editing
it
unless
I'm
doing
it.
On
behalf
of
a
working
group,
I
know
matt
kind
of
takes
the
the
role
of
kind
of
coordinating
everything
together.
So
I
think
a
lot
of
the
edits
in
here
are
done
by
men.
B
A
B
Did
you
want
to
add
some
text
or
an
explicit
mechanism
for
for
showing
the
progression
as
well
of
the
tags.
A
A
A
B
Bit,
oh
okay,
just
a
little
bit
so
in
the
elizabeth
has
shared
the
the
google
document
with
you
in
the
document
here.
I'll
just
share
the
post
too,
to
update
everyone
on
that,
the
we
have
generally,
we
have
we've
decided
to
start
hosting
the
website
ourselves.
B
I'm
sorry
I
was
breaking
up
there
for
a
second
we've
decided
to
start
hosting
the
the
website
ourselves.
Currently,
it's
being
hosted
by
the
linux
foundation.
There
are
several
benefits
for
us
to
host
that
ourselves.
So
we
have.
We
have
created
this
document
to
start
collecting
ideas
on
the
migration
also
to
collect
concerns.
So
if
there
are,
if
there
are
concerns
about
migrating
the
website,
this
is
the
place
to
catch
it,
and
really
that's
that's
about
all.
B
I
have
I,
I
think
the
the
cast
migration
conversation
has
kind
of
been
going
on
for
a
month
or
so
in
in
different
areas.
So
does
anybody
have
any
questions
about
it?.
C
Yeah,
no,
I
would
just
echo
the
reason,
we're
mainly
we're
doing
it,
so
we
can
add
our
own
plugins
and
create
persistent
links.
We
didn't,
we
didn't
want
to
have
to
change
links.
We
wanted
some
redirect
like.
If
we
changed
a
link,
we
wanted
to
be
able
to
add
a
plugin
for
redirection
and
little
things
like
that
are
just
easier
if
we
have
admin
control
of
the
wordpress
site.
C
B
Yeah
yeah,
under
our
under
our
current
process,
no
community
member
from
chaos
actually
has
admin
rights
to
the
website.
We
have
content
management
rights,
but
we
don't
have
admin
rights,
so
there's
a
considerable
amount
of
control
that
we
we
do
not
have
currently.
C
A
E
I
guess
I
have
a
quick
question
around:
when
can
the
broader
team
help
to
test
our
review?
I
just
just
for
you
have
a
general
timeline,
so
it
says
run
tests
in
march,
so
I'm
assuming.
That
means
that's
the
point
where
maybe
you'd
want
to
start
sharing
it
with
the
chaos
group
and
we
can
poke
around
and
see
what's
working,
what's
not
working.
C
Yeah,
okay
kind
of
the
plan
is
we'll
create
like
test
dot
chaos,
dot
community
with
the
export
and
the
list
of
employees.
Basically,
a
dry
run
of
moving
the
site
before
we
actually
move
the
site,
because
once
once,
the
linux
foundation
switches
the
domain
direction
to
our
server
it's
on
us
and
we
want
to
at
least
identify
stuff
that
doesn't
work
the
first
time
we
try,
as
opposed
to
having
our
site
down
for
a
week,
because
we
didn't
realize
something.
B
Also,
the
the
web
content
meetings
are
open
to
everyone,
so
anyone
who
would
like
to
take
an
active
role
in
this
process
or
any
part
of
the
website
management
is
certainly
invited
to
to
come
to
those
meetings.
We
meet
once
the
the
first
monday
of
every
month.
So
it's
on
the
calendar
they're
extremely.
C
Boring
meetings
very
very
wordpress
focused,
so
I
was
very
tired
during
the
one
yesterday,
so
I
don't
even
remember
it
very
well.
A
E
Well,
I
guess
maybe
knowing
that
right
now,
it's
more
focused
on
the
engineering
and
tactical
pieces
that
a
certain
point
looks
like
you
will
be
discussing
more
if
any
of
the
content
itself
needs
to
change,
and
I
think
maybe
that
that's
a
natural
entry
point
for
more
folks,
so
we're
not
disrupting
the
process
of
migration.
B
In
the
in
the
document
I've
shared
we
are
trying
to,
we
are
trying
to
set
the
scope
for
this
migration,
because
there
there
is
some
increased
functionality
that
it's
the
the
whole
reason
we're
making.
This
migration
is
for
that
increased
functionality,
so.
B
Yeah
so
there,
so
there
is
an
area
to
collect
content
that
is
in
scope
for
this
migration,
and
there
is
also
an
area
to
collect
items
that
are
out
of
scope
for
this
particular
migration,
but
that
we
want
to
move
forward
and
that
that
list,
that's
in
the
out
of
scope
but
considered
for
the
future,
are,
are
all
items
that
we
would
like
to
do,
but
they're
probably
going
to
be
separate
projects
for
now.
This
would
be.
C
I
don't
know
if
do
that,
either
by
sending
proposed
changes
to
the
list
or
putting
them
in
this
document
or,
if
you're
interested
in
making
regular
contributions.
I
think
we've
got
a
number
of
people,
myself
included,
who
apparently
have
logins
to
the
current
site.
Who've
never
logged
in.
C
C
B
E
A
Yes,
no!
Yes,
all
right!
Well,
let's
do
that.
So
the
next
thing
we
just
want
to
mention
was
that
we
are.
There
is
a
chaos
meetup
scheduled
for
shanghai
on
december,
the
27th,
and
there
I
put
a
few
details
about
that
in
in
the
minutes
here.
A
A
Sorry,
gosh
they're,
going
to
do
some
breakout
sessions
to
discuss
just
chaos
and
metrics
and
community
health
in
general,
they're
expecting
about
50
people
there,
and
if
you
want
to
help
out
or
hear
more
about
that,
we
usually
discuss
that
at
the
asia
pacific
community
call
which
the
next
one
won't
be
until
december
16th
at
8
00
a.m:
central,
but
you're!
You
know
welcome
to
reach
out
on
the
mailing
list.
Things
like
that.
A
If
you
want
to
reach
out
to
them
directly
for
direct
questions
or
something
like
that
or
if
you
have
other
questions,
you
can
pass
it
along
to
me
and
I
can
bring
them
up
at
the
at
the
call.
If
you
can't
make
it
I
I
I
don't
know
that
we're
considering
this
a
full
chaos
con.
A
I
think
it
seems
like
more
of
an
informal
meet
up
for
now,
which
I
don't
know
if
we've
done
that
before
maybe
someone
who's
been
with
the
project
a
little
longer
than
I
have
have,
we
done
any
of
that
not
really
okay,.
C
Previously,
we've
done
chaos
con
in
conjunction
with
fosdem
and
open
source
summit,
north
america,
and
so
the
last
cast
con
was
a
a
year
ago
in
february,
at
fosdem
in
brussels.
So.
C
F
A
We
wanted
to
do
just
an
intro
to
chaos
which
I'm
gonna
do
because
I
was
already
working
on
that
prior
to.
A
For
our
youtube
channel,
but
I
don't
know,
I
don't
think
we
decided.
C
A
Yeah,
I
don't
know
that
so
ray
if
you
have
an
idea
for
one
or
if
you
want
to
do
one.
F
I
mean
yeah,
I
mean
I
don't
have
anything
I
mean
I
I
guess,
like
I've
done
a
couple
of
generic
matrix
presentation
in
the
past
from
a
practitioner
standpoint
like
for
your
community.
If
you
want
to
build
community
metrics.
These
are
things
to
like
sort
of
look
out,
for
I
mean
happy
to
happy
to
do
that.
But
I'm
you
know
if
somebody
else
had
other
topics,
that's
more
interesting,
I'll
leave
it
up
to
the
apac
folks.
I
mean,
unfortunately,
that's
like
six
in
the
morning.
F
I'll
send
you
and
because
I
assume,
like
matt,
regularly
attend
those
calls
right
so
I'll,
send
you
both
of
you
an
email
and
then,
and
it's
an
offer
like
if
you
know,
if
people
want
that
great.
If
not,
then
you
know
that's
fine
too.
I
won't
take
it
personally.
So.
A
F
F
A
Yeah
yeah,
I
think
that
would
be
amazing,
though
definitely
send
me
an
email
and
matt,
and
then
we
can
loop
in
joya
and
king
who
are
putting
the
schedule
or
defining
this
yeah.
F
C
Is
this
kind
of
open?
I
think
it's
hope.
I
think
it's
a
pretty
open.
I
I
think
it's.
The
intention
is
to
have
it
as
much
as
possible
face
to
face
in
shanghai,
so
the
I
think
they
want
to
have
a
constrained
amount
of
virtual
content
because
they'll
actually
be
able
to
get
together
and
I'm
just
adding
there's
a
because
google
is
blocked.
C
Sorry
sophia,
in
in
china,
we
use
a
sharepoint
for
the
meeting
minutes
for
that
meeting
and
I
just
dropped
that
in
the
zoom
chat,
and
I
can
drop
that
in
our
meeting
minutes
as
well.
A
C
Yeah
they're
going
to
have
it
in
person
at
whatever
time
that
will
be
in
on
december
27th,
that's
sort
of
so
it
will
definitely
be
off
time
for
north
americans,
regardless
of
your
time
zone.
But
there.
C
A
Well,
I
was
gonna
say
I
think
we
had
talked
about
showing
the
pre-recorded
videos
like
they
would
just
show
it
locally
there
at
the
venue,
but
then
we
would
be
available
somehow
for
questions
or
interaction.
That's
what
we
depending
on
what
time
they
decide
to
do
the
event
and
if
it
works
out,
then
I'm
not
sure
how
that
how
that
would
go
if
we
would
just
call
in
you
know
with
a
zoom
call
or
whatnot,
but
I
I
think
it's
kind
of
to
be
determined
kevin.
A
I
know
for
sure
that
they
wanted
to
show
those
videos
in
their
local
kind
of
in
the
room
there,
so
people
can
watch
them
and
then
interact
with
each
other,
but
as
far
as
like
our
lot,
real-time
participation
or
any
anyone
from
chaos,
you
know
not
at
the
event,
I
think
that's
to
be.
A
I
personally
think
it
would
be
really
neat
if
we
had
this
kind
of
kit
that
we
could
package
up
and
empower
anybody
in
the
chaos
community
at
some
point
to
run
their
own
meetup
locally.
Once.
B
A
Kind
of
continues
on,
but
I
mean
obviously
there's
a
lot
logistically
that
we
would
have
to
figure
out,
especially
with
regard
to
budget
and
things,
because
these
things
do
cost
money
to
put
on
so
yeah.
But
it's
just
kind
of
a
neat.
This
will
be
interesting
to
see
how
it
goes
and
hopefully,
we'll
get
some
some
awesome
participation
from
the
the
chinese
community
over
there.
C
D
Bye
sean
sean,
please
before
you
go,
can
you
just
drop
me
the
link
to
the
evolution
meeting
where
ezekiel
explained
the
change
said
we
opened
targaryen,
please
the
what
changed
the
change
request
and
things
like
that?
Where
is
it
explaining
the
details?
Oh,
I
think
I
know
it.
C
D
C
D
C
D
Previously
had
pull
requests
and
change
requests,
I'm
talking
is
some
explanation
how
it
is
implemented
on
garrett.
Oh,
you
mean.
C
I
cannot
garrett
is
different,
but
we've
had
a
evolution
meeting
where
ildiko
who
uses
garrett
pretty
extensively
yeah.
That's
the
link.
I'm
asking
the
link.
D
Where
she
gave
the
explanation,
I
can
dig
that
up
armstrong.
Yes,.
E
I
have
one
more
question
about
the
the
event
and
potentially
other
satellite
meetups,
I'm
assuming.
If
I
go
to
the
call
my
big
and
ask
about
the
agenda,
but
I
didn't
know
if
that
would
have
been
shared
already
in
terms
of
it
like
if
it's
a
local
meetup,
then
we're
kind
of
leading
it
up
to
the
folks
who
show
up
for
the
kinds
of
things
that
are
like
how
it's
actually
run.
E
So
I'm
just
curious
to
get
this
become
something
that
we
recommend
or
have
a
template
for
then,
like
I'm,
I
guess
maybe
we'll
just
like
see
what
happens
and
then
we'll
build
a
template.
But
I
think
part
of
me.
I
guess
this
is
the
inner
researcher
is
like.
Should
we
give
them
a
list
of
like
seated
discussion,
questions,
it's
something
that
we
can
learn
from
the
market
of
just
like?
E
What's
more
or
less
important
and
understanding
say,
I
know
our
project
communities,
or
at
least
the
people
that
work
in
them
fairly
well
and
mostly
in
the
u.s
so
like?
Are
there
nuances
between
our
region
and
other
regions
in
terms
of
what
they
care
about
and
I'm
assuming
something
like
that
would
come
through
with
just
like?
If
we
were
to
see
the
few
a
few
discussion
questions
depending
on
how?
E
But
then
I
guess
like
it
depends
on
how
the
agenda
is
run
like
I'm,
assuming
it
could
be
kind
of
like,
like
the
sustain
events
where
it's
like
you
break
out,
you
talk,
you
have
working
groups,
and
so
I
just
didn't
know
if
you
know
anything
about
the
agenda
and
whether
or
not
we
would
have
the
ability
to
suggest
things
like
that.
A
That
is
an
excellent
question.
I
sent
them
just
a
basic
template
on
how
an
evening
could
be
run,
and
I
kind
of
pulled
it
from
my
own
experience
of
running
patchworks
at
github.
So
I
used
to
run
those
workshops
and
we
had
a
kit
for
that,
and
so
I
kind
of
pulled
a
lot
from
that
of
just
like.
Okay,
here's.
You
know
from
this
time
to
this
time.
You
would
run
this
video
from
this
time
to
this
time.
A
We
have
breakout
from
this
time
to
this
time
you
would
come
back
together
and
have
discussions,
but
as
far
as
like
the
content
of
those
breakout
sessions,
we,
I
don't
think
have
I
I
haven't
been
involved
in
those
conversations.
Maybe
shoya
and
king
have
sorted
all
of
that
out
already.
It
would
be
very
interesting
to
see
how
those
conversations
organically
grow
and
evolve
at
each
of
those
events.
A
So
I'm
also,
I
really
like
your
idea
of
seeding
questions,
and
I
also
think
that
I'm
hopeful
we
can
get
kind
of
a
a
an
end
of
event
like
wrap
up
of
what
was
discussed
and
like.
I
hope
that
they
are
going
to
maybe
take
some
notes
and
have
something
to
kind
of
share
back
with
the
group,
because
that
would
also
be
really
really
interesting
as
well.
B
A
Yeah,
I
think
that's
a
great
that's
that's
a
really
good
point
and
I'm
going
to
bring
that
up
at
the
next
meeting
I'll
see.
I
don't
know
if
you're
able
to
attend
that
or
not,
but.
E
A
E
One
of
the
things
that,
like
I'm,
really
curious
about,
at
least
in
my
old
role
when
I
used
to
talk
about
data
center
hosting
and
data
locality
and
privacy.
It's
just
their
attitude
and
differences,
especially
given
the
regulatory
differences
and
something
like
working
at
google
and
trying
to
figure
out
data
collection
and
sharing
around
open
source
has
been
a
privacy
and
legal
nightmare
honestly.
E
Just
to
like
try
to
see
what
we
can
share
back,
even
though
everything
is
technically
public,
but
because
we've
aggregated
it,
then
there
becomes
this
like
lens
of
like
user
classification
that
restricts
how
we
can
share
it
back
to
the
community.
So
if
we
do
a
bunch
of
analysis,
then
we
have
to
remove
pieces
of
it
before
we
can
share
it,
but
because
that's
kind
of
like
we're
dealing
with
legal
and
governmental
oversight
constraints
as
well
as
perception
around
being
google,
but
curious.
E
If
say
in
china,
where
data
collection
and
usage
is
a
totally
different
ballgame,
both
of
how
it's
used
and
also
how
it's
normalized
I'd,
be
curious.
How
that
impacts,
how
they
see?
What
kind
of
data
is
actually
available
for
both
collection
and
sharing,
especially
as
it
relates
to
what
what
could
be
available
to
measure
the
metrics
is
always
like
what
what
do
we
want
to
say
and
then
actually?
What
can
we
say
because
of
our
own
restrictions?.
B
A
B
Okay,
so
what
does
that
have
to
look
like
on
our
side?
As
far
as
the
website
goes,
the
portal
to
the
portal
to
if
it's
a,
if
it's
a
virtual
event,
do
we
do?
We
want
to
run
that
entry
point
through
the
website?
Are
we
running
it
completely
outside
of
our
chaos,
infrastructure
currently
or.
A
Those
are
excellent
questions.
I
my
understanding
is
that
we're
not
going
to
stream
it
it'll
just
be
local,
and
if
there
is
some
kind
of
virtual
participation,
it
will
be
like
individual
chaos.
Members
like
me,
for
instance,
calling
in
to
just
chat
with
them
and
and
answer
any
questions
or
or
just
be
present,
so
I
don't
know,
that's
being
streamed.
I
don't
think,
and
then
the
second
part
of
your
question
as
far
as
what
we
should
put
on
the
website.
That
is
also
a
really
good
question
in
my
head.
A
I
was
thinking
just
like
a
blog
post
because
I
feel
like
they
are.
Maybe
I'm
assuming
too
much,
and
this
will
you
know,
come
to
pass
as
as
well
as
as
time
goes
on
in
the
the
planning
evolves.
My
understanding
is
right
now
that
if
they
are
going
to
have
registration
like
choi
and
king
are
going
to
set
something
up
locally
over
there,
so
I
don't
think
that
we
would
have
to
worry
about
any
of
that
stuff.
A
But
that
being
said,
I
shouldn't
assume
anything
right,
so
I'm
gonna
just
bring
all
of
these
things
up
at
the
next
meeting
and
just
kind
of
see
what
what
the
group
wants
to
do.
B
A
Okay
and
to
be
honest,
like
usually
with
these
events,
I
personally
prefer
a
little
bit
more
of
a
lead
time,
so
I
think
that
it's,
you
know
it's
it's
kind
of
coming
together
and
I
think
it's
on
the
more
informal
side,
so
I
don't
think
we
need.
You
know
a
whole
bunch
of
you
know
things
in
place
really.
I
think
the
point
is
just
to
kind
of
promote
chaos
in
those
areas
and
to
get
some
conversation
started
locally.
So
those
are
excellent
questions,
though
kevin
I
will
I
will.
E
Give
me
flashbacks
to
my
last
like
platform
drama
of
events
I
sent
out,
I
presented
an
event
this
weekend
and
they
sent
out
the
link
for
the
live
stream.
Five
minutes
before
my
call
and
had
a
separate
link
to
another
platform
that
we
had
to
register
for
the
event
that,
in
another
version
of
that
we
had
presented
through
that
platform.
But
this
one
they're
like
no,
no
actually
we're
doing
their
live
stream
and
it
was
like
no
but
like
then
they
were
like
trying
to
email
presenters
because
nobody
got
the
memo.
A
A
Okay,
we
can
move
right
along.
Oh,
we
only
have
nine
minutes
left
we're
doing
really
good
on
this.
I
just
wanted
to
just
give
a
quick
shout
out,
even
though
neither
one
are
here
to
jessica
and
shoya.
Both
they
were
absolutely
amazing
season
of
docs
students-
oh
my
gosh,
and
if
you
have
not
taken
a
look
at
our
community
handbook
and
the
dni
badging
part
of
that
handbook,
I
mean
it's
it's
incredible
and
it's
they
how
much
work
they
put
into.
A
This
is
just
really
really
awesome
and
we're
so
happy
that
they
just
did
such
a
fantastic
job,
we're
so
proud
of
them.
I
hope
they
both
decide
to
stay
on
and
still
con
continue
to
contribute,
but
definitely
take
a
look
at
that.
A
Those
the
handbook
and
the
dni
badging
part
as
well,
because
you
could
just
tell
there's
so
much
work
that
went
into
that
and
I
think
they
were
pretty
good
about
providing
regular
updates,
but
but
yeah
definitely
take
a
look
at
those
because
their
their
hard
work
really
did
pay
off.
So
congratulations
to
both
of
them
and
then
the
final
thing
on
our
agenda.
We
have
a
an
item
here
that
says:
academics
and
ospos
status.
E
This
is
super
quick.
I
remember
a
couple
of
meetings
ago.
We
had
a
couple
of
folks
joined
to
talk
about
what
it's
like
to
run,
an
ospo
in
academia,
and
I
remember
thinking
that
it
sounded
like
they
were.
Gonna
have
a
working
group
spin
off,
and
I
was
curious
if
that
happened,
and
if
there
is
a
point
of
contact
for
that
group.
E
Another
person
at
google
has
been
working
with
the
ospo
plus
bus
organization,
and
I
mentioned
this
that
this
was
happening
in
other
places,
because
also,
I
think,
sustain
is
also
having
a
sort
of
what
is
enough
to
mean
in
terms
of
functionality
overview-
and
I
was
like
chaos
is
also
thinking
about
this.
So
am
I,
like.
I
just
wanted
to
help
connect
some
of
the
dots.
So
I
didn't
know
if
you
knew
who
was
leading
that
effort
within
chaos.
B
That's
going
to
be
matt
and
you're,
I
think
you're
you're
a
little
early.
There
is
no
working
group
for
it
yet,
but
there
is
definitely
interest.
That's
actually
one
of
the.
I
think
some
of
the
meetings
that
matt
is
at
today
are
regarding
that.
So
there's
a
the
chan,
zuckerberg
initiative,
open
science
meeting
is,
is
happening
today.
So,
okay,
thanks.
A
I
I
can't
remember
now
I
think
that
those
conversations
were
sort
of
still
happening
with
stephen
jacobs
from
rit,
but
I
and
I
know
it
was
happening
in
another
working
group
which
I
can't
think
of
right
now,
sophia,
I'm
sorry,
oh.
A
It
was,
it
was
value,
yeah,
yeah,
yeah.
It
was
value,
so
those
meetings
happen
on
thursdays.
I
believe
the
next
one
is
december.
17Th
and
those
are
at
10
a.m.
Central
and
that's
the
value
working
group
I
mean
that
has
been
among
other
topics
that
did
come
up.
I
think
the
last
couple,
so
that
might
be
another
one.
If
and
and
sophia
I
know
like
there's
so
many
meetings,
I
completely
get
it.
A
So
I
don't
know
if
you
are
subscribed
to
the
chaos
calendar
on
the
chaos
website,
but
we
usually
put
the
agenda
meeting
link
in
there
and
they're
also
in
the
weekly
newsletters,
so
you
know
minimal.
You
could
just
maybe
check
the
meeting
minutes
to
see
or
the
notes
to
see
kind
of
how
that
conversation
is
rolling
on
and
then
I
think
stephen
jacobs
would
be
the
one
to
reach
out
to
too.
If
you
want
to
talk
to
someone
individually,
he
was
the
he's
kind
of
the
one
that
brought
it
to
us.
B
So
there
is
a
there
is
a
lot
of
interest
in
that
there
were
several
speakers
at
the
last
chaos
con
talking
about
it
and
then
there's,
I
think,
the
there's
a
ospo
project
out
of
johns
hopkins,
that
for
a
partnership
with
johns
hopkins
and
a
couple
other
universities
there,
where
they're
trying
to
put
together
this
kind
of
this
open
source,
academic,
ospo
group.
So
there
is
a
lot
of
interest
and
something's
probably
gonna
happen
at
chaos
it
just
it's
really
informal
right
now,.
E
Yeah,
I
feel
like
it
makes
sense
for
that
to
be
connected
to
the
oscar
plus
plus
organizations.
I
know
they're
they're
thinking
about
it
more.
At
least,
the
presentation
that
I
saw
at
fosdem
was
focused
on
government,
an
open
source
research
and
government
and
policy
and
practice
around
that
it's
a
whole
another
can
of
form.
So
I
think
those
are
different
spheres,
but
related
in
the
idea
of
open
source
policy
and
program
management
outside
of
a
corporation.
A
E
Metrics,
so
it
was
part
of
an
extended
google
event.
So
it's
it's
because
I
was
talking
about
open
source
metrics
and
then
I
also
was
talking
about
products
that
I
use
to
perform
analysis.
So
we
have
our
big
github
data
set
on
bigquery.
So
we
talked
a
lot
about
bigquery,
but
also
just
the
harder
question
is:
how
do
you
choose
what
to
show
so
then
it's
a
mattress
conversation
and
chaos
is
the
example
of
no
idea
where
to
start
there's
a
group
about
this.
E
E
Yeah
well
sort
of
it's
google's
devfest,
which
is
sponsored
by
google
but
organized
by
locals.
So
this
one
was
in
nigeria,
so
not
not
local
for
me
and
so
organized.
There
are
a
couple
of
google
speakers,
but
also
just
other
speakers
from
the
region.
E
Well,
it's
fun
because
I
I
know
it's
a
it
was
a
google
talk,
but
because
I
was
talking
about
open
source,
I
wanted
to
mention
all
the
project
versions
of
things.
So
it's
like.
Yes,
I'm
talking
about
bigquery
but
like
there's,
also
grimoire
labs
and
like
people
also
use
grafana
for
visualization
tools
and
like
there's
just
there's
a
lot
of
public
projects
that
are
available
as
well
as
public
tools.
E
D
A
A
Fantastic,
oh
armstrong,
you're,
brilliant,
because
that
is
amazing.
I
will
email
you
sophia.
If
I
can
get
my
pen
to
work
here,
it
is
okay.
Yes,
that
would
be
fascinating,
great
idea,
all
right
cool.
I
will
email
you,
okay,
yeah!
I
guess
we're
out
of
time
anyway,
thanks
everybody
have
a
great
day
and
we'll
see
you
next
time.
