B
B
Good
news
is
that
last
week
my
dad,
who
has
been
in
the
hospital
since
Mother's,
Day
very
critically
ill,
but
yesterday
or
last
Tuesday,
he
actually
was
able
to
come
home.
So
yay
very.
B
Months,
three
months
of
hospitals
in
yeah,
it's
been
a
little
challenging
but
and
I
moved
to
a
new
house.
So
yeah
it's
been
a
busy
summer,
but
I'm
really
happy
to
see
everybody
I
missed
all
your
lovely
faces.
So
great.
D
B
You
yes,
I
I,
actually
should
give
a
huge,
huge,
huge
shout
out
to
Sean
and
Matt
and
Benya
and
Ruth,
who
all
covered
all
the
bases
for
me
while
I
was
away.
So
thank
you.
Thank
you.
Thank
you
to
all
of
you,
your
amazing
big
hearts,
heart
heart
to
all
of
you
really
appreciate
that
for
real,
so
Matt
is
gonna,
be
out
for
a
couple
of
weeks
now,
I
believe
so
we
will
see
him
in
a
few
but
yeah.
Let's
go
ahead
and
capture
them
minutes
here
here.
C
B
So
we
have
a
bit
of
a
light
agenda
today,
because
I
really
wasn't
actually
sure
what
to
put
on
here.
So,
if
you
think
of
things
that
are
new,
that
you
want
to
talk
about
or
something
that
I've
missed,
please
please,
please
add
them
totally
open
to
do
that.
We'll
drop
the
minutes
here
in
the
chat
again
I
hate
that
it
hides
the
chat
yeah
there
we
go
when
you're
sharing
your
screen,
yeah.
B
Such
a
goofy
thing,
okay,
cool-
if
you
could-
please
add
your
name
and
if
you
did
eat
breakfast
today,
what
you
had
I
had
one
of
these
kind:
protein
breakfast
bars.
They
just
add
the
protein
I
think
so
you
think
you're
being
healthy,
but
they're,
really
not
they're,
really
kind
of
terrible
for
you,
but
I
love
them,
so
I
will
eat
them
anyway,
egg
sandwich,
yummy,
salad,
yum,
fruit
love
it.
So
you
all
are
so
healthy.
I
love
that.
A
B
Just
that
so
see,
I'm
I
feel
like
I'm
being
healthy
because
I
at
least
had
something
else,
but
it
was
probably
worse
yeah.
So,
let's
jump
in
items
from
last
week
week,
so
it
looked
like
Ruth
and
Kevin
were
going
to
have
a
meeting
because
they
wanted
to
kind
of
clarify
if
I
understand
properly
clarify
what
was
going
to
be
in
the
handbook
but
versus
what
was
going
to
be
on
the
website,
because
there
is
some
overlap,
especially
with
things
like
you
know,
who
we
are,
what
our
goals
are.
B
Things
like
that
so
I
know,
Ruth
is
out
today,
she's
not
feeling
well,
I
don't
see.
Kevin
is
Kevin
here,
I.
B
B
Just
yeah
Matt
G
also
had
some
action
items
from
last
time
and
he's
not
here
to
talk
about
those
so
we'll
skip
all
that.
We're
gonna
we're
gonna
blow
through
this
meeting.
A
B
Okay,
I
see
someone
added
GitHub
code
spaces
who
wants
to
talk
about
that?
That.
A
Was
me
so
GitHub
has
a
project
called
code
spaces
that
effectively
lets
you
do
editing
on
a
project,
a
code-based
project
using
vs
code,
which
is
the
the
Microsoft
IDE
development
tool.
I
wanted
to
bring
it
up
here
to
see
how
people
feel
about
participating
in
a
program
for
basically
trying
this
out
I'm
thinking.
It
would
be
interesting
from
a
newcomer
perspective
to
see,
for
example,
if
I
could
get
auger
and
or
grimorlab
up
in
a
GitHub
code.
A
Space
which
would
remove
as
a
division
would
be
that
we
could
potentially
remove
some
of
the
barriers
to
entry
for
new
developers
by
trying
this
out
it
is,
it
is
still
very
conceptual,
I
mean
it
does
exist
and
we
can
create
code
spaces
in
our
GitHub
org,
but
it
of
course,
vs
code
is
not
an
open
source
tool
and
code
spaces
is
ultimately
something
that
Microsoft
or
GitHub
would
want
to
charge.
For
so
it's
the
the
kind
of
the
community
discussion
is
the
trade-offs.
A
A
trade-off
between
you
know
engaging
in
something
like
this
and
the
benefits
it
could
have
for
getting
new
numbers
in
chaos.
Software
project
started
versus
being
a
you
know,
a
company-owned
tool,
as
it
were,
and
I
wanted
to.
You
know,
bring
this
to
the
community
with
with
my
general
support
for
trying
it
out,
but
also
to
get
either
concerns
expressed
or
unexpressed.
Just
I.
Don't
want
to
do
this
kind
of
like
as
a
solo
project
I'd
like
to
know
if
I
would
like
to
not
do
it.
A
If
there's
you
know
strong
feelings
of
the
other
way
within
the
community.
So
that's
the
idea
any
any
thoughts.
D
A
C
C
Can
you
hear
me
a
little
bit
better
now,
yeah
yeah,
I'm,
saying
I
see
no
harm
if
it
is
free
forever
for
chaos?
Even
so,
why
not.
A
A
Yeah
anybody
who
is
a
member
of
the
chaos
GitHub
organization
would
be
able
to
use
it
for
free.
So
that
would
mean
that
you
know
so
some
people-
it's
it's.
You
know,
we've
got
like
71
people
who
have
been
added
to
the
GitHub
Organization
for
chaos,
and
we
can
add
others
up
until
this
point.
We've
really
only
added
people
when
we
needed
to
give
them
control
of
a
repository
or
something
for
work,
group
coordination
or
software
or
whatever,
but
you
know
we
can
add.
A
E
So
Sean,
once
the
person
is
added,
what
about
the
Tria
period?
Is
it?
Does
it
go
Perpetual
or
at
some
point
in
time
it
really
has
to
migrate.
A
A
I
just
have,
you
know,
have
somebody's
word:
okay,
I
mean
I,
I,
think
my
experience
with
these
things,
for
example
like
with
Google
or
GitHub,
when
they
give
you
things
for
free,
like
it
took
Google
a
decade.
To
finally
ask
me
for
money
for
my
six
or
seven
app
domains.
A
So
I
mean
usually
I
mean
maybe
at
some
and
then
even
when
they
did
when
I
know
when
I
notified
them
that
they
were
all
for
non-profit
or
academic
use.
I
didn't
have
to
pay
anything
so
I
mean
my
experience
with
these
kinds
of
programs
has
been
positive
in
general.
E
Yeah,
it's
a
good
space
to
try.
My
only
concern,
which
is
not
even
a
consent
person
is
that
vs
code
is
not
open
source
yeah
and
then
the
speed
that
we
might
obtain
can
greatly
vary
if
People's
base.
Ide
is
not
visual
code,
which
I
might
still
be
wrong
because
a
lot
of
folks
these
days
choose
vs
code.
Yeah
I
mean
person
like
me
and
also
have
been
using
emacs
in
so
many
ways,
and
it
will
be
like
the
most
the
best
and
most
performance
IDE.
E
A
I
agree:
I
mean
it's.
You
know
the
investment
in
our
part
would
be.
You
know,
creating
environments
that
that
work
and
and
from
from
my
perspective,
I'm.
Similarly
I
use
text,
editors
and
command
line
for
all
of
my
work.
I
have
observed
in
the
last
two
years
that
increasingly
almost
all
of
my
students
use
vs
code,
so
I
I
have
seen
it
propagate
a
lot.
A
A
So
if
you're
in
a
very,
if
you're
in
a
high,
if
you
have
a
highly
underpowered
laptop
and
I've,
had
some
first-hand
reports
from
some
of
our
colleagues
in
chaos
Africa,
who
are
using
code
spaces
for
projects
that
they're
working
on
that
that
it
does
help
a
lot
if
you've
got
a
low
power,
laptop
and
you're
running
something
that's
pretty
yeah.
E
D
I'm
generally,
a
fan
I
think
it
looks
interesting.
I
I
do
like
all
the
things
we've
talked
about
already
I,
like
that
you
can
standardize
your
Dev
environment,
the
accessibility
of
additional
machines,
if
you
need
them,
but
I
also
think
there's
sort
of
a
if
we
approach
it,
assuming
that
eventually
we
might
have
to
stop
using
it,
I
think
we'd
be
fine,
because
I
think
it
could
be
a
great
test
in
a
pilot,
but
I
don't
want
to
somehow
become
dependent
on
it.
C
D
I,
don't
think
we
would
but
I
just
like
that.
That's
the
risk
that
I
see
where,
if
we
go
all
in
on
it
have
no
Alternatives
and
suddenly
it's
like.
Oh,
this
is
no
longer
free
to
use,
and
if
you
want
to
spin
up
an
extra
machine,
you
have
to
pay
for
it
right.
I,
don't
want
to
see
that
happen,
or
that
would
basically
Force
us
in
a
position
where
we
have
to
request
sponsorship
and
or
to
maintain
it
and
it's
not
an
open
source,
Pace
tool.
D
So
I
just
I,
don't
know
I'm
thinking
about
all
the
pain
you
expressed
when
you
ran
hackathons
and
spending
the
entire
first
half
of
the
day,
setting
up
the
environment
and
if
all
that
can
be
packaged
for
you,
that
sounds
great
yeah,
so
I
don't
know,
I
think
it
sounds
really
nice,
but
I
feel
like.
Does
it
sound
nicer
than
it
is
or
like
I
don't
know
just
like
it
sounds
awesome,
so
it's
always
going
to
be
skeptical
of
anything.
That
sounds
awesome.
No,.
A
And
I
am
I
mean
I'm,
you
know,
I
would
I
brought
it
to
the
to
the
community
meeting
because
there's,
of
course
a
little
bit
of
skepticism,
because
it
is
a
tool
that
ultimately,
at
some
point
somebody
might
make
us
pay
for
and
I
agree
with.
You
I
think
in
the
case
of
agar
and
grimor
lab
we'd
have
a
hard
time
tightly,
coupling
the
software
to
it.
A
But
if
there's
no
there's
no
position
to
me,
giving
it
a
try
with
auger
I'll,
probably
do
that
this
week.
D
A
A
good
question,
I
think
I
think
docker
certainly
provides
the
ability
to
do
run
time
things
I
haven't
I,
mean
I.
Suppose,
one
of
the
reasons
that
I'm
drawn
or
curious
about
this
is
because
I
haven't
seen
anything
like
it
elsewhere
and
I
did
try
it
when
it
became
available
on
my
screen
and
couldn't
quite
figure
it
out
and
then
later
on,
I
ran
into
a
GitHub
person.
Who's
responsible
for
this
and
I
asked
I
explained
the
trouble
that
I
had
and
he
said.
A
C
A
Give
it
a
try
and
I'll
report
back
and
see
if
it's
it's
all
that
or
not.
E
Just
a
quick
aside,
we
I
think
we
noticed
a
huge
influx
of
students
from
across
Africa
trying
to
get
started
with
this
kind
of
project
and
things
like
that.
I
don't
know
if
it's
also
a
venue
that
it
might
be
some
kind
of
a
thing
to
advertise
and
for
their
making
just
to
make
it
like
accessibility
to
I.
A
Think
yeah
I
mean
from
talking
with
folks
in
chaos.
Africa
the
vs
code
does
seem
to
end
GitHub
spaces
GitHub
code
spaces
are
things
that
that
they've
actually
used
on
projects
for
chaos.
So
okay,
I
I,
know
from
from
conversation
that
it's
kind
of
already
happening:
okay,
cool
and
so
yeah.
If,
like
I,
don't
I
don't
have
a
real
I,
don't
have
a
I,
don't
know
how
long
it'll
take
to
bend
auger
to
to
what
this
is.
So
it's
you
know
going
forward
and
experimenting
in
the
open
like
this
is
I.
B
A
A
B
Hired
awesome
all
right,
thank
you
for
bringing
that
up.
Sean.
That
sounds
really
interesting
and
we'll
see
how
that
goes
for
sure,
and
you
said
you're
going
to
do
that,
both
for
auger
and
grimorlab
or.
B
Okay
cool,
so
if
there's
no
other
comments
on
that,
we
will
move
on
the
next.
One
is
a
little
bit
of
a
shift
in
the
value
working
group.
So
I
know
that
you
all
talked
about
this
last
week.
I
think
in
the
community
call,
but
we
also
talked
about
it
in
value.
Sorry,
vanad.
We
completely
redid
everything
while
you
were
at
that
day.
So
if,
since
you
might
want
to
do
that,
just.
B
So
yeah
so
I
think
we
had
talked
before
about
just
kind
of
the
interest
from
ospo's
in
chaos
and
Chaos
metrics,
and
so
it
seems
like
it
made
the
most
sense
to
kind
of
shift.
The
value
group
to
just
focus
on
that
particular.
B
Area
or
context,
I
guess
is
a
better
word
for
it
and
what
that
it
was
already
doing
that
I
think
already
is
kind
of
Shifting
that
way.
But
there
was
this,
we
were
calling
societal
value
that
really
kind
of
addressed
these
issues
here
and
they,
it
seems
like
that,
would
make
the
most
sense
to
shift
those
over
to
the
Dei
working
group.
We've
had
all
these
ideas,
but
we
didn't
have
like
no
one
had
ever.
B
You
know
built
any
of
these
out
just
from
lack
of
time
and
other
things
coming
up.
So
maybe
they'll
get
a
little
more
attention,
a
little
more
love
in
the
Dei
working
group
as
well.
So
does
anybody
have
comments
or
questions
concerns
about
any
of
this.
C
C
C
B
Kind
of
snuck
in
there,
so
these
are
these-
are
really
hard
things
that
I
think
are
important
to
measure
and
to
if
we
can,
but
we'll
definitely
take
a
lot
of
conversation
and
a
lot
of
thoughts
and
brainstorming.
So
if
you
see
any
of
these
on
here
that
particularly
speak
to
you
and
you
want
to
bring
that
up.
B
Yes,
Georg,
all
the
this
is
the
only
part
that
was
moving
georgas
did
all
existing
metrics
find
a
new
home
in
this
yeah.
These
were
the
only
the
only
section,
the
only
focus
area
that
was
moving
and
we
didn't
have
any
metrics
developed
just
some
ideas.
So
if
anybody
wants
to
work
on
any
of
these
I
would
say
come
to
the
Dei
working
group
or
click
Start
jotting,
some
thoughts
down,
there's
a
metrics
template.
You
can
use
to
do
that
and
yeah
we
can.
C
B
A
A
B
Totally
fine,
it
was
really
bugging
me
too.
So
I'm
really
happy
that
I'm,
not
the
only
one
I
thought
it
was.
It
was
annoying
okay.
So,
let's
move
on
to
new
items,
we
did
have
a
request
from
Ruth
to
talk
about
this,
even
though
she's
not
here,
there's
a
couple
of
documents
in
the
community
handbook
that
we
just
wanted
to
look
at
I
I,
don't
know
if
these
are
still
accurate.
I
would
love
to
get
everybody's
thoughts
on
this.
B
B
Like
maybe
this
is
something
that
we
would
want
to
move
to
a
Google
doc
and
collaborate
on
or
I'm,
not
sure
the
best
way
to
do
that
right
now,
but
there's
that
Doc
and
then
there's
another
one
about
rules
and
responsibilities
that
we
just
wanted.
You
know
just
wanted
to
have
everybody
look
at
because
it's
been
a
while
and
I,
don't
know
if
they
still
pertain.
B
B
I
I'm
Gonna
Leave
the
recording
going
just
because
sometimes
we
have
questions
that
come
up
and
people
ask
them
and
when
we
have
the
recording
paused
so.
B
B
C
A
A
A
G
I
guess
sorry,
my
connection
is
a
little
spotty,
so
I'm
not
sure
how
I'm
coming
through
I
guess
with
this
document.
I
do
think
it
needs
to
be
edited
and
the
the
main
problem
I
see
with
it
is
I,
don't
see
it
as
an
actual
path
to
leadership
or
a
guidance
for
people
who
want
to
take
on
leadership
positions
in
in
our
group.
It
just
kind
of
seems
like
a
list
of
list
of
things
and
I'm,
not
sure
how
this
list
of
things
applied
in
the
governance
of
our
projects.
So.
F
Kevin
I
ca
I
can
see
this
is
Nicole.
I
can
see
where
you're
coming
from
on
that,
because,
as
I
look
through
this
it
it,
it
feels
like
hey
if
you're
this
you're.
If,
if
you're
this
role,
you
can
participate
in
these
ways.
If
you
were,
you
know
this
role,
you
can
participate
in
these
ways,
so
I
I
guess
this
is
just
me
saying.
Yeah
I
can
see
how
you
reach
that
that
that
thought.
F
And
the
the
the
input
that
I
was
gonna
have
on
this.
It
doesn't
actually
do
anything
for
for
for
the
path
to
leadership.
It
plays
more
in
that
other
camp.
F
Where
hey
may
be
considered,
you
know
doing
these
kinds
of
things
and
and
the
feedback
that
I
was
going
to
have.
There
was
you
know,
from
a
from
a
Twitter
perspective,
or
even
a
just
social
in
general,
Twitter
LinkedIn,
otherwise
it
it
feels
like
that
would
be
a
a
collective
responsibility
per
se,
meaning
you
know
when
I
saw
a
Twitter
manager
and
it
said
like
and
retweet
tweets
about
chaos
project
it.
F
It
feels
like
we
would
all
be
doing
that,
just
as
a
thought,
but
again
that
doesn't
really
lead.
It
doesn't
really
play
into
a
path
to
leadership
per
se.
B
Yeah
I
also
think
in
some
of
these
roles
and
responsibilities,
like
some
of
them
are
open
to
anyone.
You
know
like
anyone
can
help
us
with
chaos.
Con
planning,
but
like
the
chaos
governing
board,
is
an
elected
physician.
So
it's
like
confusing
because
those
like
these
things
are
right
next
to
each
other.
So
if
I'm
a
newcomer,
then
you
know
it's
not
clear
to
me
like
what
can
I
actually
do,
or
you
know
like,
where
can
I
add
my
two
cents.
B
So
maybe
we
should
copy
these
into
a
Google
doc
and
give
people
a
chance
to
kind
of
get.
You
know,
get
your
thoughts
out
and
and
actually
let
let's
just
redo
these
I
think
they
both
need
redone
to
be
perfectly
Frank.
I,
don't
know
what
everybody
else
thinks,
but
it
seems
like
there
are
some
ways
that
we
could
make
these
two
documents
better.
A
B
And
I
know:
Ruth
and
shoya
are
working
on
the
community
handbook,
but
I
feel
like
that.
That's
a
lot
to
like
dump
on
them
and
say:
okay
fix
these
things,
like
you
know,
just
figure
it
out
like
I.
Don't
think
that
that's
super
fair,
so
I
think
maybe
the
community
could
could
help
these
documents
better.
A
B
Yeah,
maybe
okay.
Yes,
that's
a
good
point
Sean.
Maybe
we
should
check
with
them
and
see
because
we
couldn't
find
this
file
in
the
GitHub
repository
and
just
copy
it
straight
out,
but
they
may
want
a
different
something
different
yeah.
B
B
A
C
G
We
could,
we
could
probably
see
if
we
can
get
some
insight
from
Dei
and
the
Common
working
groups
as
well.
Maybe
a
little
feedback
on
on
the
document.
C
B
Because
I
feel,
like
these
documents,
are
super
important
to
the
project,
and
so,
in
my
opinion,
I,
don't
think
we
can
have
too
many
people
contributing
to
this
like
I
would
rather
it
you
know,
be
a
truly
group
effort
and
it's
you
know,
a
truly
diverse
effort
in
what
we
end
up
with
so
yeah.
That's
my
personal
feeling.
D
Oh
I
do
have
something
sorry,
I
should
have
put
it
on
the
list.
I
think
I've
asked
this
before
so.
Apologies
for
rehashing
I'm
gonna
be
doing
a
private
session
for
another
company
and
I'd
like
to
share
some
about
chaos.
Slides
I'm
wondering
if
there
are
any
canned
about
chaos.
The
projects
over
a
few
slides
I
could
happy
to
make
them,
but
I
figured
I'd.
Ask.
G
Yeah
we
are
working
on
some
of
those
documents
for
the
the
handbook
and
the
website
currently
too.
So,
if
you,
if
you
need
some
more
information
on
that,
I'd,
be
happy
to
to
get
you
some
some
documents
as
those
come
up,
one
of
the
things
we're
making
is
a
timeline
of
chaos
to
kind
of
tell
the
story
of
chaos
so.
D
Yeah,
that
would
be
great,
so
you
said
I
could
find
these
on
on
the
website.
G
No
we're
building
them
as
part
of
the
website
redesign
and
we're
building
them
as
part
of
the
community
handbook.
So
these
are
documents
that
we
are.
We
are
creating
currently
yeah.
A
A
B
Since
you're
able
to
kind
of
chat,
your
seems,
like
your
internet
connection,
is
okay
enough.
We
did
skip
this
one.
Did
you
want
to
talk
anything
or
talk
about
the
meeting
that
you
and
Ruth
had
about?
What
goes
where?
What
information
goes
where,
with
regard
to
the
website
versus
the
handbook,
is
there
anything
to
follow
up
on
or
report
back
to
us
about
that.
G
Really
the
that
conversation
was
kind
of
about
coordinating,
coordinating
the
information
that
we're
creating
in
the
handbook
and
also
the
kind
of
the
the
information
that's
going
to
be
displayed
on
the
website,
so
I,
ideally
we'd
like
to
have
you
know
these.
These
single
points
of
of
information,
where
we
can
in
the
handbook
that
we
can
actually
just
pull
onto
the
website
from
the
handbook
right.
So
the
in
those
situations
where
there's
information,
that's
in
the
handbook
and
on
the
website.
G
G
So
we
we
looked
at
a
few
other
projects.
Kubernetes
was
one
of
them.
We
looked
at
to
see
how
they
did
their
documentation
and
what
kinds
of
documents
were
needed,
and
we
we
also
discussed
what
what
documents
we
would
need
on
the
websites
and
how
they
could
exist
in
the
community
handbook.
G
So
sorry,
I
got
too
detailed.
That's
kind
of
a
high
level
overview
of
what
we
discussed,
but
we
do
have
a
web
content
meeting
coming
up
on
Thursday
and
I.
Imagine
we
will
be
talking
about
that
in
more
detail
and
everyone
is
certainly
welcome
to
to
come
and
have
those
discussions.
A
Treat
them
as
a
work
in
progress
and
adopt
what
you
need
for
your
purposes.
Sophia.
G
And
if
there
is
specific
information
that
you're
you're
looking
for
that's
not
in
there,
please
feel
free
to
reach
out
to
me.
I
may
have
I
may
have
some
history,
documentation
or
or
or
images
that
could
help
you
to
make
your
slides.
