Mr

joined
our
faculty
this
year
after
a
successful
career
in
business.
He
has
truly
found
his
calling
and
stood
apart
with
his
passion
and
dedication
to
the
field
of
career
and
technology,
education,
we're
excited
to

Being
selected
as
a
teacher
of
the
privilege,
you're
selected
by
your
colleagues
as
an
example
of
everything
that
makes
an
educator
great
ms
sweeda,
is
our
national
honor
society
sponsor
our
math
department,
chairperson
and
our
ap
calculus
teacher.
She
pours
her
heart
and
soul
into
her
teaching
and
is
what
her
students
love
most
about
her
and
why
they
work
for.
Please
join
me
in
congratulating
miss
allison.
C
The
last
group
I
want
to
acknowledge
has
had
a
greater
impact
on
you
than
even
your
teachers
have
had
they're
filling
this
stadium.
They're
streaming
live
supporting
you,
it's
those
parents,
grandparents,
family
and
friends,
for
them,
it's
hard
to
believe
that
this
moment
is
actually
happening
on
behalf
of
our
graduates.

The
palmetto
fellow
scholarship
program
is
a
merit-based
program
established
to
recognize
the
most
academically
talented
high
school
seniors
in
south
carolina
and
to
encourage
them
to
attend
college
in
state
to
be
eligible
for
the
palmetto
fellow
scholarship.
A
student
must
score
a
1200
on
the
sat
or
27
on
the
act
graduate
from
high
school,
with
at
least
a
3.5
gpa
and
rank
in
the
top
six
percent
of
their
class
at
the
end
of
their
sophomore
junior
or
senior
years.
C
C
C
Thank
you
guys.
You
may
be
seated
next
I'd
like
to
recognize
our
charleston
county
board
scholars.
Each
year
the
charleston
county
board
of
education
recognizes
students
who
achieve
academic
excellence.
At
this
time,
I'd
like
to
recognize
students
who
have
received
the
charleston
county
board,
scholar,
certificates,
board
scholars,
receive
a
certificate
and
a
board
scholar
medal.
C
The
certificate
is
awarded
to
graduating
seniors,
based
on
an
overall
graduate
grade,
point
average
of
4.25
or
higher,
with
no
rounding
up
or
down
we'd
like
to
congratulate
these
young
people
for
their
dedication
in
the
pursuit
of
academic
excellence.
When
your
name
is
called,
please
come
to
stage
to
receive
your
certificate.
C
C
We
have
two
recipients
this
year.
These
students
have
certainly
demonstrated
all
the
listed
characteristics
to
extremely
high
degree.
They
are
leaders
in
every
way
and
have
been
consistently
doing
it
well
for
years.
Their
academic
success
is
clear,
but
they
are
both
equally
gifted
in
service
and
leadership
and
all
around
excellent
individuals.
C
C
C
C
C
Today,
we'd
also
like
to
recognize
the
arby's
hall
high
school
graduates
that
have
committed
to
serve
our
nation
in
one
of
the
branches
of
the
armed
forces
after
high
school.
You
are
demonstrating
tremendous
courage
and
sacrifice
to
put
your
country
above
yourself
and
as
a
community,
we're
all
proud
of
you.
C
C
E
So
I'm
going
to
be
honest
and
and
transparent
with
you
all.
I
would
be
remiss
if
I
didn't
ask
you
all
at
this
moment
to
please
give
a
big
round
of
applause
to
all
of
our
stall
faculty
members,
our
teachers,
everyone
in
the
building
for
doing
everything
that
they've
done
this
year
for
our
kids.
Thank
you
all
so
much
for
everything
that
you've
done.
E
And
the
other
thing
I'd
like
to
share,
if
I
can
be
transparent,
is
that
I
go
to
a
lot
of
graduations
this
time
of
year,
and
so
I
always
think
about
you
know
stars
when
they're
having
a
concert
and
they're
on
stage
in
different
cities,
and
they
sometimes
forget
the
city
and
they
say
the
wrong
name.
Well,
I'd
like
for
you
all
to
know,
there
was
no
way
I
could
have
forgotten
where
I
was
today.
As
we
were
waiting
to
come
onto
the
field,
we
had
two
individuals
underneath
there
motivating
and
hyping
up
the
crowd.
E
So
I'd
like
to
thank
you
all
for
giving
me
the
honor
on
this
evening
to
introduce
our
coastal
ludatorians
this
evening.
I
want
to
explain
to
you
all
what
the
salutatorian
designation
means
and
that
designation
distinguishes
the
individuals
who
have
maintained
the
second
highest
overall
average
over
a
four-year
high
school
career
this
year.
We
are
proud
to
honor
the
co-salutatorians
mr
eric
robert
center
and
mrs
zainab
hintati.
E
E
E
He
has
been
named
a
reverend
pinckney
scholarship
recipient.
He
was
a
volunteer
for
state
representative
j.a
moore's
campaign.
He
has.
He
has
earned
his
full
associates
in
arts
degree
from
trident
technical
college
where
he
was
on
the
dean's
list.
The
entire
time.
E
E
F
E
E
Now
I
actually
happened
to
bump
into
this
young
man
before
we
came
out
I'm
onto
the
field-
and
I
said
hey
tell
me
something
about
yourself:
that's
not
written
on
paper,
so
I
can
say
it
when
I
introduce
you
and
his
immediate
answer
was
I
love
video
games.
So
then
he
proceeds
to
mention
a
video
game
that
I
know
nothing
about.
So
I
said
well,
I
know
about
super
mario
bros
and
he
looked
at
me
like
I
was
crazy,
saying
nah,
I
don't
play
nintendo,
but
that's
back
from
my
era.
E
E
E
G
G
G
We
did
it
after
12
long
years
of
public
education
we
made
it
today
marks
today
marks
the
culmination
of
a
dozen
years
of
challenging
straight
and
sometimes
repetitive.
Assignments
together,
laughed
cried
sweated
to
accomplish
this
monumental
task,
and
we
all
know
what
we
faced
challenges
along
the
way,
including
covet
19.
G
These
struggles,
which
seemed
almost
insurmountable
at
the
time
molded
us
into
the
young
men
and
women
that
we
are,
we
cling
to
the
age-old
saying
what
doesn't
kill
me
only
makes
me
stronger.
Our
persistence
allowed
us
to
overcome
any
obstacles
we
faced
along
the
way.
However,
we
did
not
always
face
these
hurdles
alone.
G
G
I'd
like
to
take
personally
thank
a
few
people
who
have
made
an
enormous
difference
in
my
life.
First
and
foremost,
I
would
like
to
thank
my
parents
for
their
fidelity
and
support
every
step
of
the
way
special
thanks
to
my
mom
for
driving
me
events
of
being
for
being
my
confidant
when
making
tough
decisions.
Mom,
I
don't
know
where
you
are,
but
keep
please
stand
up,
so
we
can
give
you
a
round
of
applause.
You
deserve
it.
G
G
G
G
G
G
Walter
guerra
is
the
greatest
and
hardest
working
person.
I
know
and
casey
koontz,
one
out
of
only
a
hundred
students
from
around
the
country
chosen
for
the
j-100
scholarship,
a
full-ride
scholarship
to
a
school
of
her
choosing
accomplishments
of
those
mentioned
above
and
many
others
are
all
exceptional
and
should
be
recognized
as
we
all
go
on
our
separate
ways.
We
remember
where
we
came
from.
We
recognize
the
challenges
that
we
faced
and
we
brace
for
the
challenges
that
are
soon
to
come.
G
G
G
To
conclude,
I'd
like
to
read
a
few
words
from
colonel
ford's
favorite
poem
or
diva
sphere
by
marianne
williamson
join
with
me.
If
you
know
it,
our
deepest
fear
is
not
that
we
are
inadequate.
Our
deepest
fear
is
that
we
are
powerful
beyond
measure.
It
is
our
light,
not
our
darkness,
that
most
frightens
us.
C
This
graduation
ceremony
is
intended
to
recognize
in
a
formal
way
that
these
young
people
have
reached
a
milestone
educationally
and
are
ready
to
commence
with
the
next
phase
of
their
lives
throughout
the
ceremony.
Please
respect
each
graduate
and
their
families
by
refraining
from
excessive
yelling
or
otherwise
disrupting
the
program
we'd
like
to
share
the
ensure
that
every
graduate
and
their
families
are
able
to
hear
their
names
read
as
they
mark
across
the
stage.
