2021,
we
can't
wait
to
launch
the
school
choice,
application
process
and
welcome
our
students
for
the
2021-2022
school
year,
along
with
our
great
local
schools,
cssd
offers
a
diverse
portfolio
of
school
options
and
specialty
programs
delivered
through
the
county's
constituent
magnet
schools.
These
programs
include
specialty
programs
in
visual
and
performing
arts,
science,
engineering
and
mathematics,
international
baccalaureate,
montessori,
military
and
other
service
initiatives,
charter,
schools,
early
college
and
academic
programs
advanced
that
include
preparation,
programs
for
career
and
technical
education.

unprecedented
times,
the
cssd
has
made
the
necessary
adjustments
in
our
schools,
so
the
election
process,
2021
2022,
will
also
include
adjustments
to
ensure
the
safety
of
all
our
f
families
and
colleagues.
This
year,
the
school
choice
process
will
have
a
greater
virtual
presence,
with
opportunities
for
parents
and
families
to
communicate
with
schools
using
digital
resources.

will
be
more
robust.

application
designed
to
help
families
apply
to
5
options
of
your
choice,
information
updates
to
help
families
through
the
process,
a
schedule
of
virtual
information
sessions
and
application
assistance,
translated
documents
for
families
requiring
language
support
and
each
school
will
be
featured
through
newly
produced
videos
to
highlight
their
services.
We
have
increased
our
school
choice,
hotline
support
team
to
reduce
wait
times.

Finally,
the
tradition
of
the
four
previously
hosted
school
fairs,
hosted
by
the
constituent
districts,
will
return
as
a
virtual
event
in
late
January
2021
without
safety
guidelines
permitting,
we
will
likely
host
in-person
application
assistance
events
by
appointment.
