From YouTube: Straight Talk with the Superintendent December 9, 2022 (you'll be "doubly" sad if you miss this...)
Description

If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Good
afternoon
CCSD,
it's
a
pleasure
to
come
to
you
this
month
or
this
week
with
the
straight
talk
via
video.
This
is
my
holiday
message
to
everyone.
I
will
not
be
doing
a
straight
talk
next
week
because
of
the
holiday
season,
but
I
wanted
to
let
you
know
that
I
appreciate
the
work
that
you've
been
doing.
I,
hope
you're,
able
to
spend
time
with
family
family
is
very
important
to
me.
I
want
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
my
family
and
then
give
you
a
holiday
message
after
that.
A
So
on
the
screen
here
is
a
picture
of
my
twin
brother,
Ronald
and
me
being
taught
in
the
kindergarten
class
when
we
were
five
years
old
by
our
mother
up
in
our
Winnsboro
South
Carolina.
A
Now
my
brother
Ron
actually
lives
here
in
the
area
in
Somerville,
and
sometimes
he
has
challenges
because
he's
out
and
about
and
someone
from
from
the
district
will
walk
up
to
him,
say
hello,
Mr,
Kennedy
thinking
it's
me
the
superintendent
and
he
has
a
challenge
in
trying
to
make
sure
that
he
he
explains
to
them
that
actually
it's
not
me
and
the
superintendent.
It's
him.
The
superintendent's
brother,
so
Ron,
you
would
like
to
say
hello
to
folks
here.
B
Well,
good
good
holiday
season
to
all
of
the
Charleston
County
School
District
personnel
and
the
students
it's
good
to
be
with
my
brother.
We
grew
up
together
and
then
went
out
of
separate
ways,
and
then
we
eventually
ended
up
back
together
in
a
low
country.
Some
years
ago
and
there's
Donald
mentioned
my
wife
and
I
are
frequently
out
in
the
public,
Arena
and
folks
will
come
up
to
me
and
Confused
me
with
my
brother
and
I:
try
to
explain
to
them
that
it's
not
my
brother.
B
It's
me
that
he
I
have
a
twin
brother,
and
so
I
appreciate
your
doing
this,
so
we
can
get
this
out
into
the
public.
In
fact,
one
of
our
sisters
mentioned
to
me
a
few
months
ago.
I
need
to
get
a
t-shirt
that
says
that
I
am
not
the
superintendent.
A
So
I
remember
when,
when
we
were
both
in
the
Air,
Force
and
I
was
over
in
Taiwan
and
air
base
over
there
in
the
Air,
Force
Captain
came
up
to
me
and
said
Hey
Ron.
How
you
doing
and
I
could
not
convince
him
that
it
was
not
Ron.
It
was
actually
it's
Ron's
twin
brother
and,
like
you
said,
you've
had
experiences
like
that.
A
Also
given
that
this
is
the
holiday
season
and
I'm
having
to
focus
here
on
this
straight
talk
on
the
families
like
talk,
maybe
just
just
maybe
one
one
aspect
of
when
we
were
growing
up
up
in
Winnsboro
during
Christmas
time.
I
remembers
that
you
might
have
from
a
family
perspective.
B
So
as
kids
and
we,
the
the
oldest
of
eight
kids,
whether
as
kids
Christmas
was
a
special
time
of
the
year
for
us,
we
would
go
out
in
the
woods
every
Christmas
cut
down
a
Christmas
tree,
drag
it
back
home
and
and
help
Mama
and
daddy
decorate
the
Christmas
tree.
That's.
A
Great,
so
back
to
CCSD
staff.
Again,
as
you
can
see,
I
found
this
important
to
Ron
and
me
I'm
sure
I
found
this
important
to
you
all.
It's
the
holiday
season,
I
wish
all
of
you
all
a
Merry,
Christmas,
happy
Hanukkah,
happy
Kwanzaa,
a
happy
New
Year,
and
thank
you
very
much
for
the
work
that
you've
done
during
the
school
year
so
far
and
I
wish
you
have
a
great
break,
a
great
break,
you're
able
to
relax
with
family
and
be
safe
and
we'll
see
you
in
the
new
year.
