Description
March 12, 2018 COTW Audit and Finance Committee
C
C
All
right
so
good
evening,
so
this
lays
out
the
documents
that
the
finest
team
Venice
and
the
staff
want
to
present
to
the
board
for
the
first
and
second
reading
of
the
budget
so
like
to
start
at
the
bottom
of
the
document.
So
the
second
reading,
when
the
board
is
scheduled
to
adopted
budget,
is
May
21st.
At
that
meeting,
we
will
provide
the
full
a
hard
copy
of
the
budget
book
as
well.
That's
the
fund
balance.
Second
reading
of
fund
balance
policy
update
the
seconds.
So
what
so?
C
What
the
board
needs
to
make
that
the
board
needs?
Data
and
information
is
debated
to
understand
the
budget
rowing
the
boat
on
it.
So
you
get
the
full
budget
book
at
the
time
of
the
second
reading
two
weeks.
Prior
to
that,
this
is
in
the
second
section
between
the
first
and
second
reading
of
May
7th.
You
will
get
a
hard
copy
of
the
printed
budget
book.
C
C
Now
so
going
back
to
the
top
run
to
the
top
of
the
document
on
the
first
reading
of
the
budget
on
April,
the
23rd,
we
will
be
bringing
the
fund
balance
policy
update
and
in
dr.
Bridget
saw
earlier
this
afternoon
talked
about
you
guys
talked
with
him
about
how
do
you
plan
for
sort
of
like
the
long-term
sustainability
of
these
initiatives,
and
so
what
this
fun
fund
balance
policy
update?
Does
it
allows
that
the
board
have
na
/
twenty
volcano
resources
over
multiple
years
for
Pacific
projects
and
initiatives
on
that
couple
of
multiple
years?
A
C
And
then
the
next
item
that
you
receive
in
the
first
first
update
are
the
district
indicates
again.
There
were
a
big
conversation
today
around
what
those
indicators
are
should
be
self.
Miss
Ambrose
and
her
team
are
working
on
what
those
indicators
would
be
around
a
limited
number,
and
so
then,
that
we
can
now
identify
the
initiatives
that
we're
going
to
fund
to
support
that
those
indicators
that
support
the
program's
to
reach
those
indicators.
The
third
bullet
here
at
the
top.
So
we
were
also
great
to
you
on
the
first
reading.
C
And
then
then
also
the
first,
we
will
have
the
revenue
projections
for
fiscal
year
19,
as
well
as
the
experience
rejection
will
have
enrollment
by
school
staff
and
categories
allocation
by
category
with
the
three
year
history
by
school
and
the
FAA
funding
formula.
There's
some
additional
supplemental
information
but
again
I'm
a
first
you'll
have
a
complete
package
of
information
that
that
you
would
need
to
deliberate
on
before
you
vote
on
May
main
2021.
So
what
questions
do
you
have.
