A
C
B
Mr
lewis,
are
you
ready.
A
B
A
A
D
A
C
B
A
First
on
the
agenda
is
the
approval
of
minutes
and
the
the
minutes
that
we're
approving
we've
already
reviewed
these
minutes,
but
because
we
had
some
technical
issues
at
our
last
meeting,
we
need
to
go
through
these
formally
again,
but
it's
the
approval
of
the
minutes
from
march
5th,
which
was
a
regular
and
a
special
meeting
march.
12Th
was
a
call
meeting
april
19th
with
it.
A
Okay
june
18th
was
a
special
call
meeting
july
27th
was
a
special
call
meeting
and
august
13th
with
a
special
call
meeting.
A
C
I
will
recuse
myself
from
this,
because
I
wasn't
on
the
board
during
the
time.
D
D
A
A
Sorry
all
right
approval
of
minutes,
public
comments.
D
A
I
think
there
was
a
picture
of
c
williams,
several
other
schools,
the
new
stadium,
that's
off
of
526.
A
And
if
I'm,
what
I
was
seeing
today
when
I
passed
by
there,
I
think
they
were
set
up.
They
were
just
recently
set
up
for.
F
Thank
you
so
much,
mr
lewis,
that
introduction,
I
can't
disappoint.
I
don't
have
any
formal
announcements
or
updates
for
the
board
tonight,
but
I
just
wanted
to
highlight
that
we
are
concluding
a
really
successful
leap
week.
This
week
was
designated
for
schools
to
pursue.
F
The
leap
stands
for
learning,
evaluating,
analyzing
preparation,
so
families
and
students
were
in
the
buildings.
This
week
I
spent
the
majority
of
my
day
on
monday
in
schools
and
it
was
really
good
just
to
see
little
people
and
their
families
back
in
the
house,
and
so
I've
gotten.
F
F
It
on
the
agenda
they
were,
there
were
none
submitted
so
other
than
leap
week.
We're
looking
forward
on
tuesday
september,
8th
to
open
up,
and
we
are
opening
up
for
face-to-face
instruction
about
25
of
the
students
per
building
will
be
going
back,
and
then
we
have
a
another
segment
of
our
student
population
who
will
be
opening
remote
and
so
we're
looking
forward
to
that,
and
so
by
the
time
we
have
another
meeting
I'll,
be
able
to
report
back
how
the
opening
of
school
has
unfolded.
D
I
had
a
question,
I
think
I
emailed
to
you
one.
I
asked
if
whether
the
students,
the
administrator
administration
and
the
teachers
were
going
to
get
tested,
and
I
think
he
came
back
and
said
that
testing
will
be
made
available,
but
it's
not
mandatory
and
my
concern
with
that
versus
what
I've
seen
on
tv
about
these
colleges
and
schools.
D
Opening
up,
you
might
have
a
asymptomatic
teacher
student
administrator
which
will
devastate
the
whole
school,
can
spread
the
virus
so
who
made
a
decision
that
these
kids
come
in
the
school
as
well
as
the
teaching
administration,
not
making
testing
mandatory
and
what
happens
if
you?
If
a
classroom,
has
a
student
or
teacher
that
test
positive?
What
do
you
do
then?.
F
Sure
so
our
operations
division
has
been
responsible
for
developing
outfitting
and
pretty
much
prescribing
what
our
safe
restart
protocols
will
look
like
and
they've
been
in
constant
consultation
with
musc
dhec
officials
and
adhering
to
cdc
recommendations.
F
The
state
department
also
put
out
recommendations
through
accelerate
ed,
a
task
force
that
they
stood
up
late
spring
and
worked
to
about
mid-summer,
and
so
my
understanding
of
the
protocol
is
we,
for
the
last
month
month
and
a
half
have
been
making
testing
available
free
of
charge
to
ccsd
employees
and
their
families
at
several
locations
across
the
county.
F
They
they
will
not
be
instituting
a
mandatory
testing
before
we
enter
school,
and
so
that's
what
I
know
and
that's
what
I
can
report
if
and
when
someone
on
campus
a
student
or
a
staff
member
were
to
receive
the
positive
result
from
the
virus.
F
D
So
what
are
you
guys
doing
with
the
students?
Are
they
being
tested
or
are
you
taking
their
temperature
because
it
really
they
said,
temperature
taken
is
not
a
prerequisite
to
say
whether
you
got
the
virus
or
not
so
the
teachers
and
administrators,
but
how
about
their
students?
Because
I've
been
tested
four
times,
and
I
wouldn't
want
to
do
it
again
to
have
that
thing.
Stick
up
your
nose
because
it's
horrible,
I
think
they
have
spit
tests.
Now
I
did
the
spit
the
nose
test
and
blood
tests.
D
So
how
about
the
students.
F
Yes
ma'am
so
students
who
are
medically
fragile
high-risk
students
will
be
testing
but
not
testing
every
kid
every
single
day.
So
there's
a
lot
of
things
to
consider
with
that,
the
congregation,
the
lines
the
mass
population
you
would
have
from
people
in
the
line
trying
to
get
tested,
but
my
understanding
is
that
students
who
are
medically
fragile
would
would
have
that
opportunity
and
I'm
actually,
I'm
speaking
of
temperature
checks.
I'm
sorry,
I'm
completing
testing
and
temperature
checks
yeah.
F
D
Yeah,
but
what
I
found
out,
the
tip
of
your
check
is
not
a
prerequisite
if
you
have
it
or
not,
because
some
people
won't
have
a
temperature
and
they
have
it
right.
Okay,
I'm
just
concerned
that
what
what
happens
if
you
find
one
child
in
the
in
in
the
school
to
have
it
and
spreads
it,
and
I
think
you
know
I'm
concerned
about
these
little
kids-
they
you
can't
keep
them
from
touching
each
other.
That's
gonna
be
a
hard
thing
to
do.
F
F
So
so
it
can
be
managed.
Well,.
C
C
F
Right
so
the
idea
behind
temporary
remote
is
that
it's
short
term
it's
temporary
there.
There
should
be
a
small
amount
of
time,
a
matter
of
a
couple
of
weeks
before
the
opportunity
for
face-to-face
instruction
opens
up,
and
so
they
would
have
to
work
with
the
school,
but
we
start
on
tuesday,
and
so
those
lists
those
designations.
F
Those
placements
are
pretty
much
set
for
the
eighth,
but
we
believe
as
soon
as
a
couple
of
weeks
into
the
school
year,
we'll
have
an
opportunity
to
introduce
more
kids
into
the
schoolhouse.
If
we
do
it
well,
so
the
idea
is
to
start
small,
do
a
really
good
job
at
following
the
safety
protocols
we
put
in
place
and
then
opening
up
more
broadly
or
more
widely.
I
should
say.
D
D
Well,
let
me
ask
you
another
question,
so
if
we,
if,
if
somebody
tests
positive,
you
know,
you
have
privacy
implications,
but
if
they
test
positive,
how
would
we
know
as
a
board
that
you
have
a
positive
person
at
a
school?
F
Sure
there's
going
to
be
a
dashboard,
so
privacy
and
hipaa
applies
to
everybody.
So
there
will
be
a
dashboard
that
the
district
stands
up,
where
the
public
at
large
can
get
information
about.
D
E
My
question
as
a
parent
of
two
children
that
are
doing
the
distance
learning
is
is:
are
we
gonna
be
forced
back
into
school
if
we're
not
happy
with
the
numbers
like
if
we
get
down
to
500
cases
a
day
and
they
say
oh.
E
F
That
point
you're
right,
mr
bale,
we
will
not
force
folks
back
into
the
schoolhouse
if
they're
not
comfortable,
you'll
have
an
opportunity
so
we'll
be
able
to
keep.
F
Yes,
so,
okay,
that
temporary
remote
status,
that's
being
stood
up
by
the
actual
teachers
in
the
school
may
have
to
shift.
If
you
decide
and
lots
of
families
decide
for
the
entire
year,
we
may
have
to
shift
to
the
virtual
academy
model,
but
you
won't.
F
F
No,
sir,
not
at
any
time
so
at
least
every
quarter
there
will
be
on-ramps
and
off-ramps,
and
so
the
the
tricky
part
of
this
is
that
I
have
to
emphasize.
Is
everything
is
contingent
on
the
virus
and
then
what
parents
prefer
so
we'll
have
to
do
some
monitoring
and
adjusting
in
terms
of
the
modes
of
learning,
but
everything
is
really
to
be
determined.
To
be
honest,.
A
Time
and
I
I
I
would
assume
that's
what
they're
looking
at
and
that's
that's
really
one
of
the
reasons
why
they're
trying
to
stall
start
small
so
they
can.
They
can
feel
this
thing
out
to
make
sure
if
it's
going
to
be
safe,
because
we
all
know
the
minute
something
happens,
everything's
going
to
get
shut.
A
A
F
We're
doing
everything
we
can
to
make
this
good
positive
and
you
know
a
doable
solution
for
our
students
and
our
families.
A
C
A
F
To
be
honest,
mr
lewis,
every
waking
moment
from
the
close
of
school
until
now
has
been
put
into
how
to
open
school.
So
some
of
the
mission
critical
work
is
still
trending,
but
really
and
truly
everything
is
about
opening
school.
Once
we
open
school,
we
will
have
in
the
fall
and
opportunity
to
give
the
board
and
update
our
mission
critical
status.
Okay,.
A
Okay,
I
kind
of
I
kind
of
figured
that
but
yeah.
I
think
I
knew
the
answer
before.
I
asked
the
question
but
okay,
what's
next
on
our
agenda
adjournment.
B
No
sir,
the
constituent
report.
A
E
But
I
think
we
need
to
keep
not,
let's
not
forget
about
ashley
river,
creative
arts
and
doing
the
zoning
that
we
did.
And
I
know
that's
going
to
be
a
little
bit
strange
because
of
the
situation.
But
we
still
need
to
to
to
see
what
the
numbers.
F
A
Yes,
I
think
that
that's
that's
another
one
of
those
things
that
is
probably
until
we
get
a
grip
on
more
than
25
percent
of
our
kids
being
in
the
building.
E
A
B
F
Is
ms
olsen
officially
departed
from
the
board
or.
