From YouTube: CCSD Board Meeting ~ November 16, 2020
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
A
B
D
B
Two
documents,
one
of
which
is
our
very
own,
charleston
county
policy
bca.
It
is
a
copy
of
our
board
ethics
policy.
We
ask
that
you
review
it
and
sign
it
and
make
sure
that
julie
or
trudy
or
erica
get
a
copy
of
it,
and
in
addition
to
that,
there's
a
school
boards
association
code
of
ethics
as
well.
That
we'd
like
for
you
to
take
a
look
at
and
sign
and
we
can
make
copies
if
we
need
to.
E
We're
going
to
take
a
five
ten
minute
recess
and
regroup
once
you've
done.
That
then
we'll
be.
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
A
E
E
Okay,
we
will
now
call
our
november
16
2020
board
of
trustees
meeting
to
order
at
this
time
we'll
entertain
an
adoption
agenda
just
to
make
a
note
prior
to
the
adoption
of
the
gender,
the
minutes
to
reflect
item
4a
in
the
minutes
that
ms
cindy
bond
coach,
recused
herself
from
the
the
vote
that
was
cast,
it
has
been
updated
in
bulldogs.
F
C
E
C
Okay,
I
wanted
to
point
out
that
there
was
an
item
mentioned
in
the
minutes.
From
the
last
meeting.
That
said,
there
was
going
to
be
a
report
from
the
ad
hoc
committee
on
this
evaluation
of
the
superintendent
tonight,
but
it's
not
on
the
agenda
and
I
just
wanted
to
ask
whether
what
what
was
done
to
try
to
make
sure
that
that
committee
met
and
why
weren't
they
able
to
meet.
E
So,
and
in
your
reply,
dr
french,
I
believe
you
sent
an
email
to
me
in
reference
to
that
item
and
I
explained
to
you
that
the
ad
hoc
committee
was
not
able
to
meet
prior
to
tonight's
meeting
and
that's
why.
The
item
is
not
on
the
agenda,
but
the
committee
hopefully
will
be
able
to
meet
before
the
next
board
meeting,
which
is
scheduled
in
december.
E
E
C
E
E
E
H
E
E
E
There's
we
have
two
nominations
on
the
floor.
The
first
one
is
miss
courtney
waters
and
there's
a
second
nomination
of
dr
french.
E
E
Okay,
first
name
that
has
been
nominated
for
vice
chair
is
ms
courtney
waters,
and
the
second
name
that
was
nominated
is
dr
french.
E
E
So
the
first
julie
you
want
me
to
voice.
E
E
E
F
E
E
L
E
E
L
E
There's
also
an
additional
I'm
sorry,
you
know
one
second,
let's,
let's
get
this
one
out
of
the
way.
E
E
Okay,
that
passes
also
the
previous
liaison
board
liaison
for
the
head
start
program
was
failed
by
a
previous
board
member
and
I'd
like
to
take
this
opportunity
to
appoint
this
erica
coakley
to
serve
as
the
head
start
board
liaison
for
the.
F
Board
can
I
go
ahead
with
the
committee
as
a
whole,
so
for
the
committee
of
the
whole
I'd
like
to
recommend
or
nominate
for
board
approval,
dr
helen
frazier,
for
policy
liaison
and
for
strategic
education,
lauren.
F
E
E
Okay,
that
motion
passes
our
appointments
through
those
committee
members,
so.
M
L
E
Yeah
well
at
the
very
end
here:
let's
see
where
did
it
go
so,
along
with
the
school
board
association,
I
was
going
to
ask
dr
french
if
she
would
serve
in
that
capacity
as
the
other
delegate
towards
that
and
again,
that
is
just
to
make
sure
that
everyone
has
an
opportunity
to
do
something.
But
if
you
want
to
not
serve
on
the
order,
the
finance
as
the
second
appointee,
then
we
can
make
that
change.
That's
that's
your
call.
G
Well,
the
that's
the
alternative
delegate
to
the
south
carolina
school
boards.
Association
convention
is
a
one
time
event,
and
only
in
and
and
only
if,
I'm
unable
to
cast
that
vote
because
I
have
all
the
votes.
So
it's
not
a
position
where
you
have
any
ability
to
break
out
in
sessions
and
learn
more
about
how
to
operate
on
the
board.
So
if
it's,
the
board's
will
that
all
the
new
members
have
a
space
to
serve,
I
would
be
more
than
happy
to
allow
that
to
happen.
E
At
the
present
moment,
miss
coates,
you
were
appointed
to
serve
on
the
order
in
the
finance
committee
we've
been
trying
to
and
that's
exactly
what
just.
E
G
K
Well,
first
of
all,
for
miss
coats
is
we've
had
a
vote.
The
board
has
acted
on
a
vote
to
appoint
you
to
the
audit
of
finance.
So
at
this
point
the
board
has
made
a
motion
and
it's
been
approved
and
it's
been
adopted.
So
we
can't
just
now
say
you
don't
want
to
serve
without
a
new
motion
or
reconsideration,
because
it's
the
same
board
meeting,
but
you
just
can't
say
I'm
not
going
to
do
it
and
designate
to
as
french.
That's
not
how
it
works.
No.
G
If
I
were
to
step
down
and
allow
the
other
newly
elected
board
member,
the
only
person
responding
right
now
is
eric,
I
guess
I
was
trying
to
gauge
a
conversation
with
the
board.
K
Well,
the
problem
is
that
that
that
motion
has
been
made
and
we've
moved
on.
So
there's
no
lead
way
for
discussion
on
that
prior
motion
because
it's
already
been
adopted
because
I've
been
voted
on
now.
You
can
make
a
motion
because
it's
the
same
meeting
a
reconsideration
for
your
appointment,
but
that's
just
kind
of
awkward.
F
J
E
Through
his
board
leadership,
dr
addison
showed
that
he
was
committed
to
striving
every
day
to
serve
the
needs
of
the
little
country
scholars.
Also,
we
also
we
lost
two
scholars.
They
are
16
year
old,
james,
sweat
and
18
year
old
taiwan,
washington,
let's
please
keep
those
families
in
our
prayers
and
in
our
thoughts.
I
now
ask
that
you
pause
for
a
moment
of.
E
E
E
E
Okay,
miss
waters.
Oh.
F
E
D
Currently,
public
comments
are
not
being
received
in
person,
but
they
are
being
received
via
email.
D
E
A
E
I'm
sorry
miss.
A
H
G
So,
dr
mr
kennedy,
the
motion
says
that
we
will
either
do
an
rfp
or
do
a
sole
source
selection
based
on
the
recommendation
of
an
of
a
third-party
vendor.
Why
are
you
asking
for
that
flexibility?
Why
not
just
make
a
motion
and
present
something
to
us
with
just
one
of
those
and
and
what
factors
are
going
to
determine
that.
J
So
excuse
me
so
when
we
issued
the
refunding
of
the
bonds
a
few
weeks
ago,
157
million
dollars,
we
did
go
with
an
rfp,
our
rfp,
but
we
just
simply
want
the
flexibility
to
see
what
the
market
market
conditions
will
will
bear
if,
if
it
gets
to
a
point
where
we
need
to
act
fairly
quickly
because
of
the
market
conditions,
we
would
like
to
have
that
flexibility.
If
you
recall
we
were
fortunate,
we
did
have
the
timeline
this
time
to
get
the
rfp
out.
J
We
did
say
15
million
dollars
and
we
we
want
to
have
that
level
of
savings
going
forward
with
these
these,
these
this
remaining
217
million
dollars
to
refinance.
G
G
J
Yeah,
I
I
think,
and
more
more
more
than
likely,
we
won't
be
in
a
position
we'll
have
to
make
a
last-minute
decision,
but
the
the
bonds
are
in
a
series
of
issuance.
So
it's
not
a
a
a
set
amount
of
217
million
dollars.
We
have
different
maturities,
and
so
some
of
those
maturities
might
be
executed
in
terms
of
the
refunding
on.
In
fact,
they
will
be
executed.
G
But
I
do
want
to
make
sure
that
it
is
nothing
short
of
phenomenal
to
be
able
to
sit
on
this
board
and
watch
the
long-term
debt
and
the
series
systematically
start
rolling
off.
That's
something
that
hadn't
been
seen
in
20
years
in
this
district,
so
I
must
applaud
you
that
we
literally
are
actually
getting
to
zero,
so
kudos
to
you
for
that.
Thank
you.
E
E
Okay,
that
motion
passes
item
7b
as
the
capital
projects
report
and
the
monthly
financial
update
that
was
included
in
your
packet.
Are
there
any
questions
in
reference
to
either
one
of
those
information
that
was
provided
to
you?
E
Okay,
hearing
none,
the
superintendent's
report,
dr
fosterweight.
M
Thank
you
every
mack
good
evening.
Everyone
can
you
hear
me?
Okay,
thank
you.
As
erica
gets
the
powerpoint
up
and
running.
The
report
is
fairly
simple
and
straightforward.
This
evening
we
start
with
an
update
on
the
kova
19
metrics.
We
report
to
the
board
every
two
weeks
and
we
use
the
report
that
dhec
issues
officially
on
thursdays
to
update
this
information
that
comes
to
the
board,
so
our
incidences
are
increasing
a
little.
We
monitor
three
three
different
categories
that
are
identified
and
tracked
by
dhec.
The
first
is
the
incident
rate.
M
M
We
also
monitor
the
trend
in
a
two-week
incident
rate.
Is
it
go?
Is
it
getting
lower?
Is
it
staying
steady
or
is
it
rising,
and
as
of
last
thursday,
even
though
we
had
risen
slightly
dehect
rated
us
as
stable,
we
were
still
in
the
stable
range.
We
are
among
the
12
lowest
districts
in
the
state,
but
our
our
as
you
know,
our
incidents
are
rising
and
then
the
final
category
is
the
percent
testing
positive
and
we're
at
9.9
percent
testing
positive.
M
For
those
of
you
who
are
new
to
the
board,
I
will
tell
you
that
in
mid
july,
we
had
an
incident
rate
of
959
cases
per
hundred
thousand,
so
we
came
down
to
just
around
a
hundred
per
hundred
thousand
and
we're
now
slightly
on
the
increase,
and
our
arrangement
with
dhec
is
the
same
as
most
school
districts
in
our
region
we
and
across
the
state.
M
Actually,
we
look
at
each
classroom
each
situation,
each
school
situation
by
situation
to
turn
to
determine
whether
a
classroom
would
need
to
to
close
or
a
whole
school
would
need
to
close
or
an
athletic
team
need
to
quarantine
for
two
weeks
and
so
forth.
So
that
is
our
two
week
update
on
the
off
weeks.
If
we
have
this
information,
when
we
send
out
an
update
to
you
on
thursdays,
we
include
it.
We
normally
include
it
in
that
update
or
send
you
a
separate
email.
M
The
next
slide
is
simply
a
status
report
on
the
board
goals.
I
have
no
idea
where
the
board
will
want
to
start
with
goals,
and
all
I
wanted
to
do
is
to
bring
to
new
board
members
attention
the
document
that
is
in
your
your
board
documents,
and
then
I
added
another
one
over
the
weekend.
That
is
on
your
table.
M
It's
not
pertinent
at
all
to
anything
we're
discussing
tonight,
but-
and
I
know
you're
just
going
to
be
overwhelmed
with
all
kinds
of
new
information,
but
this
sort
of
gives
you
the
antecedent
of
where
we
started
in
2000
1617,
we
developed
a
strategic
plan,
the
clemson
study.
There
was
a
harvard
report
from
1998
that
was
used.
We
had
an
accreditation
report
and
then
the
shared
future
group,
the
mission
critical
groups
reporting
to
the
board
and
the
board
adopted
goals
for
2018
to
2020..
M
We
have
pretty
much
addressed
those
goals,
and
that
was
what
was
in
the
document
that
was
in
the
packet.
It
was
the
document
that
we
presented
to
the
board
for
their
consideration
when
they
were
getting
ready
to
evaluate
the
superintendent.
If
we
hadn't
administered
achievement
tests
last
spring,
so
those
goal
areas
are
listed
here.
Building
a
strong
foundation
of
course
relates
to
the
preschool
making
sure
that
our
preschool
and
early
childhood
programs
are
very
strong.
M
We,
the
board,
addressed
last
year
in
trying
to
make
sure
that
if
charleston
county
schools
is
going
to
continue
to
have
a
strong
school
choice
program
that
those
programs
run
in
ways
that
that
provide
clear
pathways
for
all
children,
offering
quality
choices
and
developing
an
effective
cultural
competency
program.
All
of
those
things
are
well
underway
and
then,
of
course,
the
sixth
that
became
a
necessity
last
spring
was
successfully
bringing
the
district
or
supporting
the
district
through
the
kobe
19
pandemic.
M
We
think
it's
really
important,
though,
to
set
some
goals
to
keep
our
eye
on
the
ball
in
terms
of
these
big
strategic
areas
and
others
that
you
might
want
to
work
on.
So
that
was
the
purpose
of
putting
this
here
is
just
to
point
out
to
everyone.
This
is
where
we
have
been
we're
at
an
interesting
juncture.
Now,
one
of
the
things
that's
really
important
to
us,
as
we
move
forward,
is
thinking
about
putting
our
resources
to
support
the
children.
M
H
M
The
next
slide,
then,
is
about
the
new
board,
orientation,
lots
and
lots
of
new
information
for
new
board
members.
We
know
that
these
dates
may
not
work
for
you.
We
don't
have
to
hammer
that
out
tonight,
but
we
wanted
to
give
you
these
dates
and
then
julie
will
follow
up
with
you.
We
already
know
the
morning
of
december,
2nd
won't
work
for
one
of
you
so
we'll
see
what
will
work
anytime.
We
have
more
than
four
board
members
present.
M
We
notice
that
the
media
and
the
public
we
are
suggesting
that
ms
carolyn
belcher
and
I
can't
see
behind
the
michelle
simmons
if
you
wave,
is
the
associate
superintendent
of
elementary
schools
and
dr
joe
williams
for
midland
high
schools
want
to
talk
first
about
our
academic
programs
and
what
goes
on
in
our
schools.
The
next
session
would
come
from
erica
taylor,
who's
seated
back
behind
you,
she's
chief
of
staff
from
natalie
hamm,
whom
you've
already
heard
from
and
then
from
human
resources.
M
Mr
brigman
is
there
and
then
finally,
we'd,
like
a
third
session,
led
by
mr
kennedy,
who's
in
charge
of
finance
and
administration
and
jeff
beroey,
who
is
second
in
charge
overall
in
the
district
and
who
runs
everything
else
that
we
haven't
mentioned
so
far.
I
shouldn't
say
he
runs
it.
It
all
reports
up
through
his
his
office.
So
those
are
the
things
we'd
like
to
talk
to
you
about.
We
just
wanted
to
mention
that
those
are
our
first
big
topics,
but
we
want
to
be
responsive
to
your
questions.
M
Preconceived
notions
that
may
or
may
not
be
relevant
and
areas
in
which
we
can
improve
and
be
more
responsive
to
the
publics
that
you
serve.
You've
heard
a
lot.
You
have
a
lot
of
first-hand
information,
that's
fresher
than
the
information
we
have
and
we
look
forward
to
to
genuinely
engaging
each
of
you
and
all
of
you,
so
julie
will
be
in
touch
regarding
those
dates
to
see
what
works
for
you.
You've
met,
julie,
erickson
and
trudy
bowles,
or
sitting
back
there
too,
and
then.
M
We
know
you
have
full-time
jobs,
but
we
wanted
to
offer
if
you're
interested,
that
we
designate
one
one
day
a
month
and
then
start
visiting
schools.
We
can
usually
get
to
six
or
eight
schools
in
one
day
across
a
couple
of
different
constituent
areas.
We
just
note
there
from
our
northern
mode
school
to
our
southernmost
school.
M
As
you
all
know,
it's
quite
a
drive,
so
we
would
like
to
make
sure
that
everyone
has
an
opportunity
to
get
throughout
the
district
understand
the
different
communities
maybe
meet
the
constituent
board
members
and
and
then
we'll
have
to
to
determine
how
many
of
us
can
actually
go
in
and
go
through
a
school,
but
certainly
our
board
members
would
be
given
first
priority
for
that.
So
that
concludes
the
superintendent's
report.
For
today,
reverend
mack.
E
C
Yes,
I
had
a
question
about
the
code:
metrics
update,
it's
and
actually
well.
Some
of
it
is.
I
wanted
to
ask
whether
we
might
want
to
consider
some
more
recent
information,
because
we
know
that
the
case
has
been
going
up
dramatically
in
the
last
week
across
the
state
and
that
may
also
be
happening
in
charleston
county.
C
I
did
look
at
some
of
the
dx
sites
that
you
use
for
the
metrics,
and
I
also
talked
to
the
data
gathering
reporter
at
the
post
and
courier
who
has
posted
this
information
as
well.
Our
current
rate
of
incidence
is
197
per
100
000
and
that
is
just
below
high,
and
so
the
trend
is
that
we're
going
out
quickly
and
we
did
have
a
school
close
last
week
because
of
cases
and
that's
one
of
the
schools-
that's
not
listed
in
our
dashboard.
C
It's
a
charter
school,
but
it's
still
a
ccsd
school.
I'm
not
sure
how
the
percent
positive
is
reported
right
now,
but
9.9
out
of
10
we're
basically
in
the
high
zone.
Right
now.
We're
very
close.
I
would
think
by
since
last
thursday
that
number's
gone
up,
and
so
I'm
very
concerned
about
these
numbers,
the
the
rolling
the
seven
day
rolling
average
and
the
14
day
rolling
average.
Look
like
it's
increased
to
me
and
I
don't
know
how
the
heck
calculates
stable
versus
increasing.
M
So
we'll
send
you
the
site
that
the
state
sends
out
to
all
the
school
districts.
You're
right,
you
could
choose
any
particular
day
but
charleston
county,
the
darker
that
the
county,
the
higher
the
spread
rate.
We
have
some
counties
at
20
percent
infection
rate
right
now,
and
this
comes
out
every
thursday
and
just
to
keep
things
consistent.
That's
the
pattern
we
followed
we'd
be
glad
to
send
that
so
board.
M
Members
can
look
at
that
and
then
also
look
at
it'll
show
you
every
on
one
page,
every
county
in
the
state,
whether
they're
high
medium
and
low.
So
that's
the
first
part
of
that
question
and
then
the
second
part
of
your
question
about
the
holidays
is
that
we
have
not
made
any
any
changes
or
any
arrangements.
There's
a
rumor
that
we
had
planned
to
close
schools
after
thanksgiving
and
that's
not
true,
but
we
will
have
to
be
very,
very
sharp
about
watching
the
spread
rate
when
our
children
return
from
both
thanksgiving
and
christmas
holidays.
C
Yeah,
I
just
just
as
a
follow-up.
I
think
that
understand
that
okay,
you
check
it
every
thursday
to
be
consistent,
but
this
is
a
pandemic
and
things
can
change
really
rapidly.
I
think
we
have
to
be
more
nimble
than
that,
so
I
hope
that
they,
we
will
be
advised
quickly
if
we
need
to
do
something,
even
if
there's
not
a
board
meeting
scheduled.
D
M
So
in
jeff's
department,
there's
someone
who
runs
the
numbers
for
us
daily
and
we
would
report
our
numbers
to
you,
except
sometimes
dhec
heck
will
report
tests
all
on
one
day,
but
then,
when
they
get
more
time,
they
go
back
and
they
report
the
exact
exact
date
that
the
test
was
given,
so
that
the
data
changes
a
little
so
that
we
don't
have
dueling
data
or
inaccurate
data.
M
We
just
follow
this
as
what
we
report
publicly,
but
we
do
have
our
own
data
tracker
and
it
we
watch
it
daily
by
school
by
classroom
and
across
the
district,
and
we
would
certainly
alert
the
board
if
there's
something
that
rises
to
the
attention
of
closing,
for
example,
an
entire
school.
As
you
know,
orange
grove
has
their
own
governing
board
and
makes
their
own
independent
decisions.
N
The
the
rationale
behind
that
is
that
we
did
not
want
to
get
into
a
situation
where
they
were
following
some
of
the
district's
procedures
and
policies,
and
not
all
of
them,
so
we'd
be
comparing
apples
to
oranges.
So
if
they,
if
they
have
a
different
method
of
contact
tracing,
they
would
have,
they
might
have
different
close
contacts
than
us.
Each
of
their
boards
chose
to
be
on
their
own
and
we
gave
them
the
opportunity
to
follow.
Follow
our
rules
completely
or
be
on
their
own.
N
C
C
I'm
not
asking
you
to
to
tell
us
all
the
contact,
the
post
contacts,
I'm
asking
you
just
to
report
the
positive
numbers
just
who's.
You
know
how
many
people
are
positive
in
each
school.
I
A
E
D
In
terms
of
the
board,
the
board
director's
report
is
there
an
opportunity
to
get
some
more
detailed
information,
for
instance,
present
plan
to
revamp
early
childhood
education
and
just
understanding
like
where
we
are
now
in
terms
of
what
that
plan
looks
like
how
it
developed
and
then
on
some
of
these
other
things.
Just
if
we
could
get
more
detail,
I'm
thinking
specifically
about
understanding
how
services
have
changed
in
the
the
least
served
schools
versus
the.
H
M
There
are,
I
think,
that
you'll
receive
a
lot
of
that
in
the
orientation
that
we
have.
We
we
have
more
information
than
you
will
want
just
be
specific
about
what
you'd
like
to
see
and
carolyn
belcher
will
be
happy
to
get
that
information
to
you.
Thank
you.
You
can
see
after
orientation
what
you
get
we'll
show
you
where
to
access
it,
so
you
can
find
it
on
the
website
and
then,
if
you
want
more
specifics,
just
let
us
know
we
just
didn't
want
to
overwhelm
people
tonight.
Thank
you.
Yes,
ma'am.
I
I'm
just
curious
about
the
method
of
reporting
covet
cases.
I
know
that
at
baptist
hill
we
had
some
cases
where
several
administrators
were
at
the
same
time
and
teachers
and
but
on
the
dashboard.
It
had
only
one
case.
So
how
is
that
different
from
the
actual
cases
reported,
and
how
do
we
ensure
that
the
schools
are
accurately
reporting
to
you
that
we
have
the
number
of
cases.
M
So
I
I
will
say
just
when,
when
we
report
we're
really
careful
not
to
say
it
was
students,
teachers,
administrators
or
someone
else,
because
that
could
very
easily
you,
you
could
easily
identify
an
individual
and
then
that's
a
violation
of
their
hipaa
rights,
and
we
had
a
mistake
on
the.
I
think.
Information
was
turned
into
us
and
it
was
our
glitch
that
it
didn't
get
transferred
over.
Mr
burley
may
have
some
more
information
on
that,
but
it
comes
through
the
nurses
office.
Mr
roy.
N
I
am
very
confident
in
the
data
being
tracked
and
as
dr
poster
wait
mentioned,
we
had
a
trans
transposing
problem
with
the
information.
All
of
our
reports
on
a
positive
case
come
through
the
principle,
so
we
have
a
single
point
of
contact.
The
principal
or
an
assistant
principal
turns
that
document
in
so
there
there
are
different
people.
Turning
in
different
types
of
documents
at
different
times,
everything
is
directed
through
the
principle
that
comes
into
the
nurse's
office.
We
have
nurse
liaisons
that
do
the
contact
tracing
and
the
investigation
they
load.
N
The
data
into
a
spreadsheet
that
is
has
is
very
close,
hold
to
make
sure.
As
doctor
post-await
mention,
we
protect
that
privacy
at
the
end
of
each
day,
communications
department
takes
a
look
at
that
spreadsheet
and
takes
the
information
from
each
school
and
puts
that
into
the
onto
the
internet
onto
our
website.
N
One
one
thing:
we've
noticed
that
when
we've,
when
we've
been
asked
about
numbers,
not
being
correct
just
to
bear
in
mind,
the
numbers
for
the
weekend
do
not
show
up
they'll
close
a
business
on
monday.
So
a
lot
of
times,
people
will
turn
the
the
website
out.
On
monday
and
go
wait,
I
know
something
happened
over
the
weekend.
How
come
it's
not
being
reported
the
weekend
numbers
go
in
with
the
monday
numbers
and
show
up
monday
at
close
of
business.
So
that's
one
error.
N
We've
noticed
where
people
think
there's
misreporting
when
there's
not,
but
we
don't
want
to
update
the
report
over
the
weekend.
We
want
to
do
it
on
the
close
of
this
on
monday
so
monday,
at
five
o'clock
each
day,
all
of
the
numbers
are
updated
and,
and
we
feel
we've
worked
out
the
in
any
little
issues
we've
had
with
having
the
numbers
transposed
and
I-
and
I
believe
that
the
numbers
are
are
very
solid.
At
this
point.
H
Okay,
ms
zombie,
have
any
questions.
G
So,
dr
postawake,
the
document
that
you
gave
us
is
is
derived
from
the
one
that
was
published
in
2018
and
it
was
put
on
our
website.
It
was
also
used
in
our
agenda
in
february
of
2019.
G
M
I
would
have
to
see
which
document
you're
referring
to
mrs
codes,
but
if
it
is,
I
I'm
almost
positive
it
is,
but
if
it
isn't,
we
will
make
sure
that
it's
there
it.
It
all
originates
from
the
strategic
plan
and
then
the
accreditation
report.
G
M
That
I
I
put
the
update
that
I
think
is
a
complete
update
in
the
board
docs
for
today's
meeting
so
that
they
could
so
that
new
board
members
can
find
it.
And
then
we
have
every
three
months:
we've
given
mission
critical
updates.
So
we
have
those
documents,
but
please
make
sure
I
see
the
document
you're
referring
to
after
the
meeting,
so
we
can
make
sure
that
it's
easily
accessible.
G
E
All
right,
thank
you,
dr
postwaite,
for
your
report.
Yes,
sir
item
9a,
I'd
like
to
make
a
motion
to
appoint
dr
french
as
the
alternate
delegate
to
represent
the
charleston
county
school
district
at
the
2020
legislative
conference
of
south
carolina
school
board
association
to
be
held
on
december
4th
at
the
convention
center
in
columbia.
F
H
E
So,
just
before
I
even
talk
about
that,
miss
colts
represents
the.
L
L
A
L
E
So
so
miss
cole
says
the
is
the
board
appointed
representative
for
the
region.
I
can't
recall
the
region
number,
but
it's
a
number
attached
to
it,
but
from
time
to
time
you
will
see
a
a
a
report
that
comes
out
that
will
be
sent
through
this
voter
association,
but
there's
a
document
that
delegates
go
to
to
represent
at
this
annual
convention
that
will
be
held
in
colombia
this
year.
We
have
because
of
the
size
of
our
district.
We
have
16
delegate
votes
generally.
E
What
we
do
is
we
send
two
appointed
delegates
to
represent
at
the
convention
they
cast,
they
can
either
have
one
person
cast
a
vote
or
sixteen
or
they
can
split.
It
eat
a
piece
so
there's
a
booklet
or
a
document
that
is
created
of
the
recommendation
through
the
school
board
association
that
is
sent
as
well.
We
will
get
you
a
copy
of
that
julie.
Do
you
have
a
copy
electronic
copy?
E
So
you
can
make
sure
that
each
of
the
new
board
members
get
a
copy
of
that
of
what
those
list
of
recommendation
that
the
school
board
association
has
sent
out,
and
so
those
so
this
year.
E
Well,
miss
code
has
already
been
appointed
to
represent
also
tonight
asking
dr
french
as
well,
so
they
will
go
and
they
will
cast
those
delegates
or
those
votes
at
the
delegation
or
at
the
convention
on
behalf
of
the
board
two
weeks
in
about
two
weeks
yeah
in
about
two
weeks
and
in
colombia.
So
they
will
be
our
representative,
our
voice,
so
we'll
get
those
electronic
copy
over
to
you.
E
So
you
can
review
them
if
there's
any
questions
or
concerns
or
anything
that
you
would
like
to
be
eared
at
that
delegation
per
se,
or
that
you
want
a
representative
to
make
sure
that
that's
discuss
or
questions
that
you
may
want
to
be
asked.
They
can
also
do
that
as
well.
E
Okay,
that
motion
passes
just
want
to
let
you
know
that
our
upcoming
meetings,
which
we
will
have
on
december
14th
we'll
have
the
committee
of
the
whole
meeting
and
then,
following
that
committed
whole
meeting
on
that
day,
we'll
have
a
regular
board
meeting.
Typically,
we
have
one
meeting
in
december
right
before
the
holidays.
E
Those
new
appointees
liaisons
prior
to
that
meeting,
you'll
be
contacted
by
staff
to
talk
about
items
that
will
be
coming
up
on
the
next
meeting.
So
look
forward
for
that
information.
I
like
to
say
again
welcome
to
all
of
the
new
board
members.
E
We
are
excited
and
engaged
to
be
working
along
with
you
as
we
continue
to
move
forward.
I
do
I,
like
the
the
energy
thus
far
the
questions
that's
being
asked
and
that's
what
we're
supposed
to
be
doing
asking
questions
so
that
we
can
be
better
informed
if
there
ever
a
point
where
information
that
you
are
in
need
of
to
help
you
make
a
better
decision,
and
you
have
not
received
that.
E
We
ask
that
you
please
follow,
follow
the
requested
guidelines
and
submitting
that,
through
our
board
secretary
or
through
miss
erickson
and
we'll
make
sure
that
those
documentation
get
to
you
in
a
timely
fashion,
particularly
with
those
information
that
are
sent
out
to
you
in
preparation
of
board
meetings.
E
We
ask
that
you
do
utilize
the
extended
time
of
asking
your
questions,
or,
even
speaking,
with
a
live
staff
member
prior
to
the
board
meeting
on
that
monday
of
questions
that
you
may
have
so
that
you
can
be
better
prepared
and
informed
when
you
do
attend
the
meeting
at
hand.
So
again,
thank
you
welcome
and
we
look
forward
to
working
with
you
at
this
time
now
entertaining
motion
for
german.
