Description
Chattanooga City Council Meeting — 05-03-22
A
C
Our
heavenly
father,
we
again
thank
you
for
this
opportunity
to
assemble
here,
lord
god,
that
we
may
be
able
to
hear
and
discern
and
disseminate
information
one
to
another.
Now,
lord
god,
we
ask
that
you
just
keep
us
in
your
presence.
Keep
us
humble,
keep
us
willing
to
love
one
another
and
see
love
shared
from
one
person
to
another
as
well
or
god,
as
we
continue.
This
meeting
and
all
the
information
given
may
be
taken
with
knowledge
and
love
in
jesus
name,
amen,
amen,.
A
Thank
you,
councilwoman.
We
did
have
a
special
presentation
tonight
on
the
schedule,
but
talk
to
representative
hakeem
yesterday
and
said
that
there
was
a
scheduling
conflict
with
dr
holm's
ability
to
be
with
us
tonight.
So
we're
going
to
reschedule
that
in
case
you
saw
that
on
an
earlier
agenda.
We
did
discuss
this
at
our
1
30
session
and
our
2
30
session.
I
want
to
make
sure
that
was
noted.
So
if
I
can
go
ahead
and
get
a
motion
to
approve
the
minute,
I
do
have
minutes
we'll
stand
without
objection.
E
Before
I
make
this
motion,
I
want
to
thank
dr
burrs
chris
anderson
and
all
those
who
took
part
of
this
procedure,
and
I
want
to
thank
all
the
chattanoogans
for
their
input.

L
You
wonder
why
young
people
flee
from
this
city?
You
won't
listen
to
us.
You
wonder
why
we
leave
and
we
never
look
back.
You
are
clinching
to
a
status
quo
in
the
past.
While
we
are
begging
to
go
into
a
future,
you
wonder
why
we
flooded
the
streets
in
2020,
because
we're
fed
up
and
I'm
ashamed
that
I'm
going
to
harvard
with
a
broken
heart
representing
my
city
and
the
only
african-american
woman
on
the
campus
in
the
entire
southern
region,
with
a
broken
heart.
C
C
The
second
problem,
I
felt
that
I
had
when
I
go
to
the
website
and
it
says
that
minutes
and
things
are
posted
on
there.
You
have
to
look
diligently
look
to
try
to
find
where
information
is
from
the
city
council.
Why
can
it
be
on
just
the
website
main
website?
That
is
easy
access
for
people
to
get
to.
C
The
final
question
I
have
to
you-
and
I
hope
someone
answers
it.
Anybody
answers
from
the
committee
is:
do
you
realize
that
the
african-american
community
is
stronger
than
it
appears
right
now
and
just
because
you
may
get
perks
or
data
boys
or
go
along
with
the
system
does
not
mean
that
the
black
community
will
follow.
You.
B
If
any
council
member
would
like
to
call
and
talk
with
her
as
to
whether
she
sent
me
with
this
message,
I'll
be
most
happy
