elections
and

kind

guess

we
get

I
like

this,
sometimes
where
I
sort
of
talk
to
people
about
their
background
and
how
it
is
that
they
came
to
be
sitting
in
the
chair
across
from
me
today
and
and
obviously
with
it
being
election
season
and
with
it
being.

Wow
and
decided
to
be
home,
be
a
mom,
be
a
wife
and
prior
to
that
I
had
known
Constance
Tyler,
the
former
registrar.
She
actually
worked
for
me
at
my
retail
job,
so
we
kind
of
reversed
roles,
so
I
was
able
to
spend
a
holiday
which
I
hadn't
been
able
to
do
being
in
the
retail
world.
I
was
able
to
be
home
after
that
I
reached
out
to
Constance
and
asked
her
if
she
had
any
openings
in
the
registrar's
office,
which
she
did
so
I
started
in
staging
our
time.

About
the
process,
I
can
imagine
too,
as
your
first
general
like
this
is
a
you
know,
an
eye-opening
experience
to
have
to
have
it
be
all
at
once.
Has
it
been
before
we
get
into
the
nuts
and
bolts
of
the
stuff?

people
need
to
know
going
into
it,
I'm
just
curious.
Has
it
been
eye-opening
for
you?

been
what
you
expected
it
to
be
how's
that

it

Now
I'm
curious
in
terms
of
you
know
getting
into
the
the
thick
of
it
now
as
we.
You
know
we
every
day,
you're
closer
to
to
the
actual
election
day,
but
I
know
for
for
in
modern
times
the
job
of
registrar,
the
job
of
election
officials.
It's
it's
never
just
about
election
day
anymore,
because
so
much
happens
before
election
day.
What
are
some
of
the
challenges
that
you
guys
have
seen
so
far
as
early
voting
has
begun.

and
is
that
you
think
that's
as
much
a
function
of
because
right
now
you
just
have
the
one
location
and
I
can
imagine
that
as
more
locations
sort
of
come
online
and
the
you
know
where,
and
especially
because
some
legislation
we're
going
to
talk
about
in
just
a
minute.
Obviously
you
know
it
becomes
more
complex.
The
more
you
know,
as
opposed
to
like
when
you
can
only
have
people
come
to
one
location.
I
can
imagine
that.

because
and
those
ballot
differences
I
would
imagine,
do
create
some
complexity
for
folks
who
work
the
election
because
that's
a
you
know,
like
you
mentioned
earlier,
legislation
that
comes
down
from
the
state
or
or
you
know,
various
other.
You
know
whether
it's
Federal,
whoever
right
that
that
changes,
what
you
guys
have
to
do,
and
you
don't
have
a
choice,
correct
you
know
so
so
you're
saying,
is
in
this
sort
of
new
way.

own
ballot
right
now,
I
know
for
folks
who
are
listening.
This
we're
recording
this
a
little
bit
before,
but
the
deadline
for
for
registration
I
believe
was
October
17th.
So
this
that
will
have
been
a
couple
of
days.
You
know
before
folks
actually
get
this,
but
I
want
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
same-day
registration,
because
that
kind
of
changes
a
little
bit
too,
because
it's
technically
true
you
can
register
up
until
and
on
Election
Day.

Right
now
in
terms
of
I
guess
the
bigger
picture,
as
as
election
officials.
Typically
in
the
past,
you
know
we
think
of
like
you
know
the
big
event.
You
know
the
Super
Bowl
of
Elections
right
is
election
day,
but
obviously
now
there
are
just
so
many
different
ways
for
people
to
vote.
Let's,
let's
walk
through
sort
of
what
those
options
are
for
folks
as
as
November
draws
closer.
Obviously,
your
your
early
voting
began
in
your
office
last
month.

They
have
to
be
listed
in
our
poll
book
if
they're,
not
so
October
17th
it
as
mentioned,
is
the
last
day
to
register
or
update
any
existing
registration.

voter
to
make
sure
to
see
which
Precinct
they
would
be
registered
to
vote.

Gotcha
all
right
last
couple
things
for
you:
first
off
I'm,
just
curious
from
a
voter

You
know
election
officer
sort
of
point
of
view.
Is
there
a
better
way
to
vote
like
what,
when
folks
come
to
you
and
say
well,
what's
the
best
way
for
me
to
vote
I'm
just
curious,
because
I
can
imagine
folks
listening
to
themselves,
like
all
of
a
sudden
I
have
all
these
options
which
one's
the
best
one
I
would
imagine
the
easiest.

know
in
the

we've

you

one
of
the
things
we've

Definitely
you
know
kind
of
reiterated
folks
is
like
you
know,
just
understand
that
everybody's
doing
the
best
they
can.
If
there
is
a
weight,
it's
you
know,
it
won't
be
long.
You
know
to
basically
to
plan
to
be
patient
essentially
last
one
for
you
and
I
think
this
might
be
the
most
important
question
of
the
day.
If
folks
vote
early
in
your
office,
they
still
get
the
sticker.

you
is
going
into
it.

Are
you
expecting
because
of
the
numbers
of
early
voters
and
stuff
you've?

feel
like

kind

you
