to
tell
you
about
some
of
the
things
that
are
happening
in
your
community
for
the
week
of
April,
the
17th
with
spring
now
in
full
swing.
The
2023
Farmers
Market
is
right
around
the
corner,
we're
accepting
vendors
for
the
new
season,
which
will
run
every
Wednesday
from
May
the
10th
until
September
the
27th,
so
Growers
producers
culinary
artists,
get
your
applications
in
soon
and
be
a
part
of
this
year's
market.

Now
on
Tuesday,
you
can
come
out
to
Cloverdale
library
from
2
to
3
pm
and
learn
more
about
how
seeds
grow
about
Virginia's
native
plants
and
the
importance
of
flowering
them
during
this
Workshop
you'll
use
soil
and
seeds
to
make
a
seed
bomb
to
plant
in
your
yard,
registration
is
required
on
Thursday,
the
Richmond
SPCA
will
be
holding
a
pet
connect
event
at
the
children's
museum
in
Chesterfield
from
10
a.m.
Until
noon,
the
topic
of
the
series
will
focus
on
how
you
and
your
little
ones
can
safely
interact
with
unknown
dogs.

That
evening,
there's
a
College
and
Career
Information
night
being
held
at
gather
Midlothian
from
5
to
7
PM
high
school
students
come
on
out
to
speak
with
a
variety
of
career
and
college
professionals.
Reservations
are
required,
and
then
this
weekend
there
are
a
number
of
events
for
you
to
choose
from
on
Saturday.
You
can
come
out
to
Enriquez
from
10
a.m,
until
5
PM,
to
learn
more
about
the
Spanish
presence
in
Virginia
from
1517
to
1616.,
demonstrations
will
include
weapons,
armor,
clothing
and
food
of
the
Spanish
soldiers.

While
you
hear
about
the
objectives
of
the
officers
and
the
considerations
in
creating
an
outpost,
Mission
tickets
are
12
for
adults
and
eight
dollars
for
kids
and
henricous
members.
Also
that
morning,
there's
a
composting
Made
Easy
courses
being
offered
from
10
a.m
until
noon
at
Central
Library.
While
you
hear
from
a
Master
Gardener
and
master
composter,
and
learn
how
to
have
a
positive
impact
on
the
environment,
while
also
helping
your
own
garden
and
yard.

time,
a
geovin
will
be
provided,
registration
is
35
per
person
and,
lastly,
you
can
bring
the
kids
at
Meadowdale
library,
from
11
to
noon
on
Saturday
for
Mad,
Science,
Suns
and
stars
where
they'll
learn
about
the
life
cycle
of
stars
that
see
Stardust
form
and
then
discover
how
stars
make
their
waves
across
the
Spectrum
registration
is
required
there
as
well.
