update

the
SRO,

school

officer
on
kind

he's

doing

year.

the
installation
for
homes
in
our
city
right
now,
they're
really
focusing
in

South
Burlington
area
and
are
just
very
looking
at
the
edges
of
the
contour

loudest

meeting

that
will
be
the
first
Wednesday
I
believe
July
5th.

month,
significant
of
a
report
there,
the
infrastructure
commission
met
last
Thursday
on
the
15th.
Sadly,
we
are
losing
quite

people

the
commission

time
around,
so
we
are
saying
farewell
to
Jason

Brian

Dallas
and
we'll
be
seeking
folks
from
the
community
to
fill
their
vacancies.
For
that
reason,
we're
going
to
take
the
month
of
July
off
and
reconnect
mid

late,

in

other

we
discovered
with
the
new
technology
that
Paul
has
acquired

city,
we

move
forward
with
having
hybrid
meetings.

had
pretty
good
attendance
because

hybrid
adoption

folks
would
would
not
have
been
able
to
make
it
home
from
work
otherwise
or
to
the
meeting
otherwise.

strategies

priorities

council
decided

engagement
scoping

district

annual
officer
meeting
election
next

and
that'll

fit

and
pretty

month

the

our
last
meeting
hosted
my
monthly
Winooski
housing
Roundtable
with
local
partner
providers,
primarily
focused
on
exploring
grant
funding
to
bring
more
specific
housing
support
capacity
into
school.
The
Winooski
School
District
continued
coordination
of
the
training
for
tenants
working
with
a
Champlain
Valley
office
of
Economic
Opportunity,
hoping
to
implement
those
in
the
month
of
July
I
attended
one
of
our
Winooski
Housing
Authority
senior,
building,
Community
listening
meetings
that
we
have
been
doing
around
Robin
of
and
wanted
to
share
top
concerns,
sidewalk
and
road
conditions,
Traffic
Safety,
Public,
Safety
and
Improvement
of
internet
access
options.

Planning
Commission
met
and
continued
their
discussion
of
a
potential
design
review
District
to
support
historic
preservation.
I
met
with
our
zoning
administrator
and
the
commission
chair
following
that
meeting
to
discuss
strategies
and
priorities
so
that
at
the
next
in
the
July
meeting,
we'll
then
roll
that
out
to
the
commission
with
the
parties
are
going
to
be
for
that
work
plan
for
the
year
and.

to
be
striking
when
we're
going

be
painting
which
seems
to
be
right
in
the
same
vein
so,
and
they
I'm
looking
forward
to
meeting
with
that
group
again

hoping
to
give
them

little

lot

listening

Housing
Commission

meeting

July

choosing

new

definition

activity
providing
services

people
kind

they're

generally
speaking,

people

not
otherwise
have
access

we're
trying
to
bring
that
you

to
them
some
of
the
core
elements

Outreach.

efforts
have
to
be
systematic,
coordinated,
comprehensive
for
us.

try
to
do
our
best
and
then
it's
kind
of
where
we
start
from
you
know
this
is
safety
and
harm
reduction,
and
then
we
kind
of
work
work
back
to
the
rest
of
it.
So
one
of
the
other
pieces
of
Outreach
that
it
seems

been
hasn't
been
really.
An
emphasis
of
this
program
would
be
promoting
public
awareness,
so
I
know
like
each
Community.

effort

more
preventive
and

kind
of
lessen,
the
necessity
of
Crisis
Services,
even
though
you

we
have
the
crisis
Services,
that's
part
of
what
my
job
is.
It
would

nice

little
more
of
that
workload
on
the
front
end
of
things
and
and
through
public
forums
and
workshops
and
stuff.
Like
that,
you
know
those
those
are
good
examples
of
trying
to
be
able
to
intervene
and
get
some
of
those
things
out
there
before
the
crisis.

That
work
every
year
we
get
data
from
our
chief
on
you
know,
call
responses
and
and
how
helpful
it
is
to
the
police
officers
to
have
that
support
and
I
also
hear
it
from
community
members
too.
So
I
want
to
express
our
appreciation
there
and
I'm
excited
to
hear
about
this
news,
new
sort
of
Outreach
angle
and
potentially
preventative
items,
as
we
think
about
Community
engagement
efforts.

when

work
backwards,
we
check
all
three
of
those
boxes,
yeah,

putting

emphasis
on

think
it's

we
can
be
the
better
just
just
for
everyone,
so
I'm
really
trying
to
to
you,
know
capitalize
on
the
relationship
and
and
be
involved
in
trying
to
to
help
communities.

figure
out
ways
that

they
can
be
more
preventive
for
for
a
lot
of
reasons.

specialist
is
embedded

out

job
is

crisis
kind

all
changes

know
today
it
could
be
one
thing
and
tomorrow
it's
something
different,
really
that's
a
challenging
position
that
requires
you
know
we
just
an
emphasis
on
people
being
flexible.

embedded

the
state
police,
so
I
think
he
would
have
you
know
significant
overlap
and
collaboration
with
the
community
outreach
team.
The
potential
to
to
co-respond
to
things
from
where
I'm
sitting
them
corresponding
is
not
a
good
thing.
It
means
something
really
big
is
happening,
so
I'm,
I'm
kind
of
hoping
that
doesn't
happen
very
often
and
then
the
family
crisis
response
is
an
effort.

feel
like
we're
rebounding
a
little
bit,
but
the
family
crisis
response
is
to
try
and
help
families
access
the
help.
Without
having
to
go
to
the
emergency
department,
you
know
there's
very
often
this
would
be
another
another
item
to
to
put
into
like
a
public
awareness
campaign
type.
You
know
efforts
would
be
you
know
so
often
families
cook
the
Ed
and.

Lot
of
times,
they're
turned
away,
because
why
ever
they're
there
doesn't
meet
like
the
psychiatric
criteria
for
being
there,
but
they're
desperate
they're.
You
know
they're
not
going
up
there,
just
because
you
know
it's
fun,
they're
desperate,
they're,
looking
for
help,
so
the
family
crisis,
response
kind
of
the
framework
of
it
is
like
a
license
collection.

So,
certainly,
if
a
family's
there's
a
psychiatric
crisis
or
someone
suicidal
any
of
those,
those
things,
obviously
we
would
we
would
encourage
them
to
go
to
the
Ed,
but
there's
a
lot
of
those
instances
where
the

is
just
not
going
to
be
helpful
and
it's
a
lot
for
a
family
to
sit
up
there
for
hours
and
not
be
seen.
You
know
it's
just
it's.
It's
not
good
for
anyone,
it's
not
good
for
the
family,
it's
a
strain
on
the
system.

would
work
with
a
family
over
the
course
of
weeks
to
try
and
you
just
bridge
that
Gap
so
probably
a
few
more
sentences

what
you're
looking
for,
but
that's
that's
kind
of
the
the
idea
of
it.

we're
still
hiring

really
hoping
to
get
to
have
it
up
and
actually
functional
