going
downhill

second
floor

Roosevelt
has
been
empty
for
eight
years.
Now
they
own

own

own
part
of

Building

right,
I
think
three

those
floors
and
they
own
the
footprint
locks.

feel
that
I'm
sure
you've
got
my
letter
in
the

but
there's
several
uses,
including
extended
stay
hotel
that
got
approved
the
Albany
School
of
Pharmacy,
was
at
the
High
Point
Center,
there's
lots
of
lots

uses

residential,
that
are
commercial
in
nature
or
they're,
commercial
and
their
residential
in
nature.
However,
you
want
to
see
it.
My
feeling
is
that
the
apartment
building
10
units
falls
in
the
same
bucket
as
those
four

five
uses
that
are
already
listed
in
this
District.

multi-family

there

apartment
buildings
greater

My
personal
feeling
is
multi-family
should
be
limited
to
you

three

four

four
unit

buildings
and
that's
what
you
know.
That's
what
you
have
out
there
now
for
office
space
when
we
submitted
in
2017
there
was.

was
already
empty

three
years

floor
and
they
have
an
architect

spent
the
money
on
architect
to
do
a
revamp
of
the
building,
to
try
to
use
that
for
marketing
purposes
and
just
nothing's
come
once
covet
hit.

think
anybody
with
a
straight
face
can
believe
that
office
space
is
coming
back,
not
at
those
locations
a
lot
of
locations
around
Chittenden
County.

what
you
have
is
a
empty,

empty
floor,
you'll
end
up

more
empty
floors,

up
with
the
lot
in
the
back
not
being
utilized
and
the
owner
depending
on
this
proceeding,
regardless
of
this,

probably

going
to
be
pursuing
low,
getting
his
taxes
lowered
just
because
of
the
lack
of
use
in
those
buildings,
so
I
think
it
would
be
short-sighted
not
to
consider
adding
this
use,
which
is
similar
to
the
other
uses.

your
town
plan,
we're
not
asking
for
an
expansion
of
residential
use.

board

halfway
house
congregate,
housing,
hotel,
motel,
Extended,
Stay
trading,
vocational
schools,
colleges,
Community
College,
including
dormitories,
are
already
allowed
in
this
District,
so
we're
simply
asking
for
apartment
buildings,
greater
than
10
units
to
be
added
to
the
commercial
District,
and
we
think
that's
more
than
reasonable
and
it's
actually
more
reasonable
than
when
we
first
made
this
submittal
due
to.
If
we
thought
at
that
time
that
there
was
going
to
be
a
rush
on
Office
Space.

last
informal
discussion
we
had
on
this
on
May
17th
of
2022
Mrs
Austin,
had
asked
about
the
incur.
You
know
felt
that
there
should
be
an
encouragement
for
residential
and
ask
the
question
how

units-

there

proposal
at
this
time-
and
there
is
no
proposal
imminent-
they
haven't
had
me
or
anybody
else
do
any
work.

happen

main
thing
are
those
current
uses
of
which
most

them

uses
trade

vocational
school

the
only

permitted

of

big

fall

gray
area,

suggest
it

missed
opportunity
for
Colchester
to
not
consider

things
like
this

areas

predominantly
Office
Buildings.
As
I
said
at
the
beginning,
High
Point
Center,
two
Office
Buildings
in
the
front,
the
one
in
the
back
was
back
in
2000,
not
2001,
when
it
was
originally
done
by
Mr
Wiley.
That
was
also
earmarked
as
an
office.

didn't
make
a
whole
lot
of
sense
because
it
was
all
shared
parking
and
you
had
three
big
Office
Buildings
when
when
they
were
all
occupied
there
there
was
and
Libby's
was
going,
and
there
was
also
it
never
never
occurred

will
occur.

this
point,
there
was
a
very
small
footprint
out
there
for
a
small
Bank
between
Libby's
in
the
building
on
the
Colchester
side
towards
the
interstate.

bigger

have
