B
B
I
understand
that
they
are
welcomed
in
school
and
explore
opportunities
for
volunteering
and
because
being
more
involved
in
their
child's
education.
Research
suggests
that
the
involvement
of
fathers
exerts
a
distinct
and
independent
influence
on
whether
children
ever
repeat
a
grade
get
mostly
A's,
enjoy
school
and
participate
in
extracurricular
activities
and
whereas
Pittsburgh
Public
Schools
would
like
to
acknowledge
this
year's
partners.
The
carnegie
library
of
pittsburgh,
the
Pittsburgh
Pirates,
the
Pittsburgh
Penguins
and
literacy
Pittsburgh,
as
well
as
the
men's
groups,
and
a
variety
of
organizations
that
have
continued
to
support
the
success
of
this
initiative.

C
C
You
can
go
to
any
of
the
Pittsburgh
Public
Schools
and
find
out
what
the
activities
are
and
we're
asking
that
you
make
yourselves
available
to
the
administration's
at
each
individual
schools.
Now
the
process
is
when
you
go
into
that
building.
We,
of
course,
we
honor
the
school
by
recognizing
the
principal
reporting
to
the
principal's
office.
We
ask
for
our
men
to
be
respectful
and,
of
course,
we
move
their
hats
and
dress
and
look
appropriate
and
also
to
keep
in
mind
that
you
are
on
display.
So
your
conduct
is
very,
very
important
on
that
day.
C
After
that
to
you,
the
principal
will
then
direct
you
to
where
you
need
to
go
for
that
particular
activity.
So
we've
been
doing
this
for
25
20
21
years
extremely
proud,
because
the
administration
has
always
bent
over
backwards
to
support
this.
As
another
reminder,
many
of
you
are
well
aware
in
2012
we
were
here
as
well.
2012
this
program
received
its
national
recognition
by
the
National
School
Boards
Association
for
our
best
practices
in
getting
men
active
and
getting
men
involved.
C
D
Wow
21
years
I'm,
not
even
that
old.
Yet
so
that's
a
long
commitment
and
we
appreciate
the
commitment
in
PPS
and
our
schools
and
leaders
of
our
schools
are
fortunate
to
have
these
fathers
come
in
I've
been
involved
for
the
last
three
years
and
it
is
a
very,
very
inspirational
program
for
the
children
that
are
served
and
many
of
these
fathers
come
in
and
they
embrace
other
students
whose
fathers
didn't
have
the
opportunity
to
take
the
day
off.
D
Also,
we
have
I
want
to
say
thank
you
to
Pitts
University,
their
athletic
program
comes
in
and
they
actually
fill
in,
because
fathers
aren't
able
to
take
the
day
off
so
I
just
want
to
say
thank
you
to
all
of
you
for
taking
the
opportunity
to
meet
with
our
children.
I
see
many
of
these
faces
every
day
and
I
know.
This
is
an
annual
event,
but
I
embrace
parents
coming
in
each
and
every
day
to
spend
time
and
help
motivate
children.
D
We
need
that
not
only
in
our
schools
but
also
in
our
communities,
so
take
this
time
to
also
embrace
children,
as
you
see
them,
walking
down
the
street
and
just
motivating
them
to
stay
steadfast
and
deal
with
the
many
issues
they
face
today.
So
again,
I
would
want
to
say
thank
you
and,
on
behalf
of
dr.
Hamlin
I
would
say,
he's
a
varies
all
into
this
program,
our
boards,
all
into
this
program.
Our
leaders,
all
throughout
our
buildings,
are
all
into
this
program
and
again,
thank
you
very
much.
Thank.
C
You
so
much
dr.
Anderson,
and
we
really
appreciated
your
support
over
the
years.
Next
I
want
to
recognize
that
none
of
this
would
be
possible
without
the
vote
of
support
from
members
of
the
board
and
I
believe
we
do
have
two
board
members
here:
I
don't
want
to
put
them
on
the
spot,
but
if
they
are
willing
to
say
something
we
would
love
to
hear
from
them.
Dr.
Harley
and
director
of
Cindy
Falls.
E
Thank
you.
We're
excited
to
be
a
part
of
this
event.
This
event
is
really
one
of
our
stellar
activities
that
we
do
throughout
the
school
year.
We
embrace
families
within
our
school
district
and
we
especially
want
to
make
sure
that
fathers
and
father
figures
are
a
part
of
the
work
that
we
do
with
our
students
on
a
daily
basis
and
I
want
to
thank
mr.
Brent
Lee
for
having
the
stamina
to
do
this
every
year
and
I,
say
stamina,
because
it
takes
a
lot
of
work
to
put
on
this
event.
E
So
we
want
to
say
thank
you
and
he's
very
modest,
because
the
National
School
Boards
Association,
especially
our
cube
organization,
that's
a
part
that
that's
the
Council
of
urban
Boards
of
Education
actually
use
this
as
a
stellar
model
for
how
you
can
actually
get
more
parental
involvement.
We
always
want
to
have
men
within
our
schools,
and
we
want
to
show
our
young
men
that
are
in
our
schools
that
they
can
become
whatever
they
want
to
be
by
the
dreams
of
others
and
the
dreams
that
they
have
and
I
want
to
say.
C
Thank
you
so
much
dr.
Holly
we'd
like
to
take
a
moment
in
to
recognize
you
know.
Every
year
we
reach
out
and
ask
for
partners,
individuals
and
agencies
in
the
city
who
were
partnered
with
us,
who
kind
of
buy
into
what
we're
doing
a
lot
of
times.
Their
mission
is
to
do
almost
the
same
thing,
but
at
a
different
level,
and
so
we're
proud
this
year
to,
of
course,
bring
back
our
partner
to
folks
from
Carnegie
Library.
Do
we
have
anybody
here
with.
B
C
Today
we
do
anybody
here.
Would
you
folks
be
willing
to
one
put
you
on
the
spot?
Oh
okay,
well,
the
Carnegie,
Library
and
of
course,
last
year
we
had
them
in
our
goal
was
to
get
100
fathers
to
sign
up
for
library
cards.
We
came
close,
and
so
this
year
we're
gonna
finish
it
because
remember
for
fathers
spending
quality
time
for
children,
even
if
you're
unemployed,
the
library
is
a
great
place
and
you
can
spend
quality
time.
C
F
Stop
I'm
a
board
member
on
the
literacy
Pittsburgh
again,
we
are
proud
to
be
a
first
year
sponsor
of
this
take
a
father
to
school,
and
we
all
know
that
a
parent
and
obviously
a
father
is
the
first
and
best
teacher
for
our
children.
We
also
know
that
that
sets
up
lifetime
learning
and
literacy.
Pittsburgh
is
dedicated
to
preparing
adults
to
serve
into
that
role.
I've
been
doing
that
since
1982,
formally
Greater,
Pittsburgh,
Literacy,
Council
or
GPL
see
now
literacy
Pittsburgh.
F
So
since
1982
last
year,
more
than
4,600
students
were
prepared
and
and
brought
through,
given
a
second
chance,
many
learning
basic
reading
skills
and
others
getting
GED
preparing
again
to
serve
in
that
role
as
really
the
foundation
for
one
help
them
be
set
for
life
as
they
go
in
and
then
obviously
being
in
a
better
position
to
make
an
impact
in
their
children's
life.
So
again
on
behalf
of
literacy
Pittsburgh
in
this
great
program.
Thank
you.
F
C
G
That
PBS
does-
and
you
know
in
the
case
of
this
one,
there's
such
a
valuable
tool
in
the
way
fathers
can
bond
with
their
kids
through
education,
and
we
also
support
the
fact
that
sports
can
be
another
one
of
those
vehicles
to
connect
with
kids
and
spend
some
quality
time
with
them.
Teaching
them
valuable
lessons
and,
for
those
reasons,
among
other,
were
incredibly
thankful
to
be
a
part
of
this
program
and
thank
you
to
all
the
men
who
are
here
today
supporting
this
program.
Thank
you
again.
We.
C
C
Well,
we're
glad
to
have
you
guys
here
and
also
I
was
gonna
just
mention
the
support
from
the
Penguins
who
are
here
also,
and
so
the
point
that
we're
trying
to
say
is
this
is
an
all-in
kind
of
kind
of
thing
that
we
do
and
we
all
should
be
that
way
when
it
comes
to
children
and
the
Pittsburgh
Public
Schools
well,
I'd
like
to
bring
up
at
this
time
brother,
Melvin,
L
and
he's
gonna
direct
folks
to
our
litany
of
commitment.
This
is
what
we
read
every
year.
C
It
is
important
for
our
children
who
are
watching
our
mothers,
who
are
watching
that
we
publicly
acknowledge
our
support
for
children.
We
publicly
acknowledge
our
support
for
our
parents,
our
mothers
and
remember,
as
I've
said
every
year,
if
the
mothers
and
the
Pittsburgh
Public
Schools
were
to
take
a
day
off.
The
district
would
fail
like
yesterday,
okay,
because
they
they've
held
things
together.
C
They've
been
taking
care
of
business,
they've
been
members
of
the
PTA
s,
the
PTO
s,
and
the
PSC
sees
this
event
that
we
do
every
year
is
nothing
more,
but
a
call
to
duty
to
step
up,
get
up
and
get
out
men.
It
is
not
only
your
job,
but
it's
your
responsibility
to
do
your
part
and
help
raising
the
children
so
brother,
Melvin
L.
Where
are
you
if
you
would
come
forward
and
identify
the
folks
and
the
way
bits
work.
H
I
H
It's
a
real
honor,
this
litany
of
commitment
and
we're
going
to
call
some
of
the
men
from
down
the
audience
are
coming
in,
read
this,
but
if
I
may
mark
for
just
a
few
minutes,
just
want
to
also
just
say
this.
This
may
have
been
on
yours
and
I'm.
Sorry
fits
on
your
or
your
agenda,
but
it's
in
my
heart
to
say
this
just
want
to
thank
some
of
the
other
folks
has
been
involved
with
first-time
to
call
our
sister
now
read
for
her
help.
Last
year
this
year,
showers.
H
Also,
sister,
a
bleep
you
just
briefly
I
just
wanted
to
also
shout
out
the
bottle:
Airy
metals
behind
also
the
committee,
which
is
Brandon
Phillips,
throw
your
hands
up:
Brandon
Marc,
currently,
junior
brother
Dewayne
Parker
mr.
Henry
struggles,
also
the
mr.
Mike
Nichols
who's,
not
with
us
today.
So
with
that
said,
and
if
I
can
one
shout
out
to
my
main
supervisor,.
H
Anyway,
this
litany,
I'm
gonna,
call
him
in
down,
because
I
and
II
want
to
get
finished
with
this
portion
and
have
them
come
down
and
do
this
first
we're
gonna
have
Jason.
Rivers
have
come
down
brother
Ian,
my
brother
Dwayne
just
come
down
front
here,
y'all
when
I
call
your
names
call
in
that
order.
H
J
H
And
the
way
this
is
going
to
be
read,
Jason's
gonna
be
the
first
presider
reading
this
and
in
the
body
of
this,
for
the
men
in
the
audience.
If
you
have
coppers
it
is
where
says
members,
we
read
that
together
and
then
there's
another
part
on
here
that
says,
members
will
read
that
together
and
at
the
end
in
unison,
marine
read
the
last
part.
Alright
right
and
I'm
gonna
call
up
brother
Jason
rivers.
B

Of

written
by
dr.

We
dedicate
the
2019,
take
a

day
to
the
involvement
of
fathers
and
father
figures
in
the
education
of
their
children
and
to
the
collaborative
support
of
educators
and
other
stakeholders.
J
We
rejoice
the
fathers
and
father

students,
educators
and
supporters
are
assembled
under
the
banner
of
the
Pittsburgh
Public
Schools
take

We
asked
for
guidance
as
we
grow
in
our
development
concerning
the
importance
and
impact
of
fathers
and
father
figures
and
our
need
to
embrace
relationships
and
resources
for
the
benefit
of
our
children.
We
love
and
cherish
dearly.
B
M
B
B
C
O
Good
morning,
City
Council
first
I
want
to
thank
you
for
having
us
mark
I
want
to
thank
you
because,
again
for
21
years,
you've
done
this.
This
is
your
commitment
to
being
a
father
and
also
a
father
figure,
as
you
just
stated,
to
every
child
in
the
school
district
and
throughout
this
region,
to
bring
men
together
to
show
just
how
important
the
father
is
so
I
want
to
say
thank
you
and
to
all
the
other
men
that
helped
put
this
together.
O
I
appreciate
you
I
do
because
one
thing
that
we
know
and
I
think
this
is
universal.
As
far
as
I'm
concerned,
you
know,
I
come
from
a
single
mom,
but
I'm
a
father,
and
when
I
see
the
difference
that
I
make
in
my
children's
lives
every
single
day,
it's
a
blessing
to
be
able
to
call
when
you
hear
your
child
called
you
daddy
I
mean
when
you
hear
a
child.
Call
you
daddy
it
just
changes
your
whole
day.
O
You
could
walk
in
the
room
and
come
home
from
work,
and
we
didn't
all
had
these
days
where
you
come
in
and
you
just
like
I
don't
want
to
do
nothing
and
you
hear
that
word
called
daddy
as
soon
as
you
hear
that
word
called
daddy.
Your
whole
demeanor
changes
and
if
we
put
daddies
in
school
along
with
Mama's,
held
it
down
for
so
long,
we
could
end
the
cycle
of
violence,
create
a
nature
of
peace
and
really
improve
the
environment,
but
really
that's
where
it
starts

O
C
Thank
you,
thank
you
so
much
and
we
we
really
appreciate
your
support
over
the
years.
Finally,
I
want
to
just
let
councilmembers
know
traditionally
what
we
do
here
and,
first
of
all,
each
of
you
received
they
take
a
father
to
school
day.
T-Shirt
also,
we've
included
the
directories
thanks
to
the
staff
over
here
who
worked
like
you,
wouldn't
believe,
to
make
sure
that
we
had
every
school
identify
what
they
were
doing
on
that
particular
day.
So.
P
C
You
have
in
front
of
you
is
what
you
need
on
the
17th
of
May.
You
can
just
flip
through
the
school
and
you
can
find
out
what
activities,
what
time
who
to
contact,
and
so
we're
excited
once
again
for
the
administration
and
the
staff
for
putting
that
together,
we
will
be
leaving
here
and
we're
gonna
be
downstairs
outside
in
the
portico
and
as
men
we
just
kind
of
gather
in
fellowship.
We
have.
C
Our
lunches
will
be
delivered
very
soon
and
two
council
members,
if
you
would
send
a
staff
person
down
we'd,
be
more
than
happy
to
make
sure
that
we
send
up
a
lunch
to
you,
we're
going
to
counter
a
raffle
off
a
couple,
little
t-shirts
or
something
we
will
give
shirts
to
all
the
men
who
are
participating.
We
are
excited
to
do
this
again.
C
We
are
so
glad
that
you're
recognizing
us-
and
we
also
want
everyone
who's
watching
to
keep
in
mind
that
we
city
of
Pittsburgh,
we
are
the
lead
City
on
men,
getting
involved
in
the
education
of
children
before
we
close
I
just
want
to
take
a
moment
if
there
was
someone
I
haven't
acknowledged,
but
after
someone
that
needs
to
share
something.
That's
here
representing,
because
we
have
a
quite
a
few
organizations
that
are
represented.
There
is
anyone
that
need
to
share
anything
going
on.

little
nervous
about
going
back
to
school,
though
I'll
tell
you
I
get
there
like
heebie-jeebies
on
that.
So
folks
we
have
Larry,
Jim
and
window
with
us
today.
Larry
isn't
we
got
two
proclamations
for
them
and
one
is
revolved
around
the
high
school
football
team
and
the
cheerleaders
of
1968-1969
from
South
Hills,
High
School,
which
is
near
and
dear
to
me.
P
Now
there
now,
therefore
be
it
resolved
that
the
City
Council
of
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
does
hereby
commend
the
athletes
and
coaches
of
the
68-69
South
Hills
High
School
football
team
in
cheerleading
squad
and
be
a
further
resolved
that
the
Council
of
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
does
hereby
declare
Tuesday
April
23rd
2019
to
be
1968-69.
South
Hills,
High,
School,
City
League
football
championship
stay
in
the
city
of
there.
B
P
S
T
First
of
all,
my
name
is
Larry
Anderson
and
I'm.
A
class
of
1969
and
I
want
to
thank
President,
Krause
and
Anthony
Coghill
for
allowing
this
opportunity
to
be
here
today
in
honor
in
South,
Hills,
High,
School
and
I'm
sure
that
you
all
know
that
South
Hills
closed
in
1986,
but
we're
probably
the
largest
alumni
association
in
western
Pennsylvania.
We
have
many
people
that
are
involved
in
what
we
have
been
doing
over
the
past.
T
I,
don't
know
how
many
years,
but
we've
been
having
a
dinner
for
distinguished
alumni
for
the
last
50
plus
years
and
two
years
ago
we
started
a
Sports
Hall
of
Fame
and
with
the
help
of
Reverend
Burgess
in
helping
us
do
the
proclamation
I
certainly
want
to,
and
by
the
way
he's
a
personal
friend
of
mine
and
I
do
go
to
his
church.
So
I
have
to
recognize
him
anyway,
and
he
gave
me
five
dollars.
T
But
I
really
think
that,
let
me
to
me
back
up:
we
have
Linda
stalker
and
she
is
our
membership
chairman
and
we
also
have
Jim
Christner
and
Jim
is
our
secretary,
but
as
well
as
our
chairman
of
our
scholarship
program-
and
this
is
one
of
the
reasons
and
we're
doing.
This-
is
because
we're
raising
money
for
scholarships
for
relatives
members
of
the
Alumni
Association.
T
T
R
M
T
S
One
to
thank
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
in
the
public
school
system
to
imagine
that
the
school
closed
in
86.
We
have
enough
alumni
still
interested
and
had
such
a
good
education
from
that
city
school.
We
raised
$22,000
from
people
this
year
for
scholarships,
and
we
do
it
repeatedly
year
after
year
after
year,
on
a
school
of
clothes
back
in
86,
so
that
school
really
had
an
impact
on
an
awful
lot
of
people,
so
city
schools
and
they're
wonderful
to
see.
Thank
you.

U
In
Westmoreland,

summit
health

day
theme
is
to
create
a
culture
of
health
promotion,
pathways,
Church,
dramatic
intervention
programs
in
the
church
and
in
the
community.
The
summit
is
to
provide
the
opportunity
to
explore
alternate
paths
that
enable
families
to
have
open
channels
of
communication
for
the
quality
and
safety
in
dealing
with
victims
of

and
whereas
the
minority,
how
summit,
has
three
objectives
for
the
participants?
The
first
objective
is
to
increase
awareness
of
health
risk
associated
with
traumatic
environment.
U
The
second
objective
is
to
explore
strategic
or
strategies
to
build
trust
and
engage
families
and
caregivers
in
ensuring
how
services
needed
are
addressed,
and
the
third
objective
is
to
inform
participants
of
local
state
and
national
health
services
and
resources,
and
now
therefore,
be
it
resolved
that
the
Council
of
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
does
hereby
declare
Friday
April

and
Saturday
April
27
2009

to
be
minority.
Health
Awareness
Day
in
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
may.
V
Pointing
to
council
president
and
two
council
members,
I
am
Jerry
and
Alan
and
I
am
the
president
and
the
CEO
of
Allen
place
Community
Services.
Yes,
we
did
start
ten
years
ago,
and
I
cannot
believe
how
time
has
passed
as
we
have
embarked
on.
A
number
of
programs
that
have
been
successful
in
our
community.
V
I
am
so
proud
that,
as
a
retired
registered
nurse
that
my
faith
and
the
work
that
I
have
shared
can
live
on
through
the
Northside
community
and
it
has
filtered
to
many
of
your
areas
as
well
as
we
bring
members
of
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
together
to
share
information
and
to
share
their
expertise
with
resources
to
help
us
live
better
lives
in
our
individual
homes
and
in
our
church
communities,
and
to
be
better
citizens
of
the
city
of
Pittsburgh.
On
Friday,
the
dinner
that
was
mentioned
in
our
Proclamation.
V
It
stands
out
because
a
number
of
physicians
have
made
their
way
to
Pittsburgh
whether
they
were
born
here
or
transferred
into
our
city.
They
are
making
history
every
day,
as
they
continue
to
reach
out
to
minorities,
building
trust
that
was
not
evident
in
our
city.
A
number
of
people
do
not
comply
to
medical
decisions
or
help
because
they
cannot
find
the
trust
factor.
V
I
also
just
wanted
to
share
with
you,
because
we
did
not
include
in
our
Proclamation
those
that
are
making
a
way
to
help
us
with
the
summit,
and
we
want
to
give
thanks
to
Robert
Michael
Smith
destiny,
international
Reverend,
Myrtle,
Halloran,
BEC,
a
full
life
deliverance
ministries,
damara
Underwood,
for
the
musical
selections
that
she
will
bring
on
Saturday
and
also
to
our
sponsors.
For
this
event,
Yvonne
cook,
who
is
with
Highmark
Foundation
and
dr.
V
V
Sorry,
ten
o'clock
comes
before
11:00.
True
for
the
traumatic
intervention
we
have
dr.
lovey
Foster
of
the
Department
of
Health
and
Human
Services
work
with
the
children
and
youth
division.
That
will
be
a
speaker,
dr.,
noble
Masaru,
from
the
University
of
Pittsburgh
School
of
minority
health,
dr.
Benjamin
Khasra,
who
is
a
trauma
surgeon
with
Allegheny
General
Hospital,
dr.
Karen
hacker,
who
is
our
own
Allegheny
County?
Health
Department
and
Paul
Pearlman
of
the
Highmark
diversity
and
inclusion
will
be
the
moderator
for
that
division.
V
We
say
thank
you
to
dr.
Milton
Allen,
who
is
also
a
founder
of
Allen
place
to
Marvis
Nichols,
who
is
a
program
coordinator
with
Allen
place
and
Charles
Robinson,
who
is
an
associate
intern
with
Allen
place
and
not
to
leave
off
Sarah
zalenski,
who
is
the
Allegheny
general
trauma
prevention
coordinator?
These
have
been
great
tools
that
we
have
worked
with
for
the
last
six
months
and
we
want
to
share
this
information
with
each
and
every
one
of
you.
V
There
is
no
reason
that
we
do
not
know
what
to
do
in
the
case
of
emergencies
with
our
families.
I
want
to
say
a
special
thank
you
to
dr.
William
Simmons,
who
has
presented
us
with
a
historical
perspective
of
physicians
and
other
people
in
the
medical
field
that
has
emerged
from
1851
to
2005.
It
is
an
awesome
story,
and
last
but
not
least,
to
our
president
of
the
City
Council,
we
say
thank
you
and
to
our
district,
one
Councilwoman
darling
Harris.
V
V
N
Thank
you,
I
do
appreciate
you
sharing
this
podium
with
me,
because
I
don't
think
that
we
would
have
made
it
out
of
the
City
Council
building
alive
together.
But
I
do.
Thank
you
for
your
time
today,
city,
council,
members
and
city
council
president.
We
do
encourage
you
to
do
come
out
to
the
minority
health
events.
N
U
Great
husband
and
he's
staying
quiet
today
and
everybody's
been
introduced.
However
CJ
Charles,
that's
another
CJ
I
know
other
than
my
grandson,
so
they
hold
those
initials
together.
Since
we
really
service
not
only
just
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
here
but
Allegheny
County.
Would
all
the
council
members
like
to
come
up
for.
B
A
J
A
R
B
Favor
aye
opposed
abstentions,
merchants
pass.
That
concludes
the
proclamation
portion
of
the
council
meeting
and
that
will
take
us
into
public
comment.
Anyone
wishing
to
speak
before
City
Council
this
morning,
of
course,
will
have
three
minutes
in
which
to
do
so.
I
am
going
to
take
this
opportunity
to
remind
those
here
that
our
rules
of
council
are
very
clear.
B
B
Ask
that
you
please
begin
by
giving
your
name
and
the
neighborhood
in
which
you
reside
for
our
public
record.
When
the
green
light
begins,
it
will
indicate
the
start
of
your
three
minutes
when
the
yellow
light
comes
on.
You
will
have
one
minute
to
summarize
your
thoughts
when
the
red
light
comes
on.
Your
time
has
expired
morning.
Miss
Brown,
good.
W
W
What
so,
when
I
come
down
that
broke,
I
wrote,
lavell,
note
and
I
even
gave
a
note
to
the
mayor's
secondhand
second-in-command.
It
was
very
rude
to
the
mayor.
If
you're
looking
I
do
apologize
because
I
found
out
you
didn't
know
today
for
mr.
Gainey,
when
I
said
to
mr.
Gainey
about
Lawrenceville
and
I'm
staying
there.
Oh
wait
a
minute
sprout.
Let
me
explain
next
and
every
month
they
have
a
meeting
down
there.
No,
this
was
about
terrorism.
He
said
what
so
you.
W
So
you
see
that
even
they
don't
you
think
that
much
of
the
mayor,
how
come
I'm,
mayor
and
Councilman,
don't
know
it's
about
terrorism,
terrorism.
We
all
should
know
that
anytime,
someone
can
go
with
a
president
of
the
United.
States
is
what
golfing
and
she
can
get
in
to
the
room.
That's
tear
that
could
have
been
terrorism,
but
why
can't
we
ask
black
people
poor
people
any
time?
Why
can't
it
be
down
here
large
bills,
one
bus
top
of
the
hill
one
bus
for
us
to
get
to
Lawrenceville
two
buses?
W
You
know
what,
when
Katie
were
of
us
died,
I
came
for
a
meeting.
Every
councilman
that
went
to
his
funeral
I,
see
petite
the
one
that
died
I
said
pratik
what
they
wanted.
Him
rode
the
veil
wantin
to
be
any
food
in
his
office
in
this
building.
He
said
he
is
for
the
people
he
didn't
watch
since
and
his
funeral.
He
wants
you
to
be
here,
but
he
has
a
building
up
dear
we're
up
there.
We
can't
even
get
a
bus
to
the
hospital.
W
B
Q
Am
so
thankful
to
be
here
and
the
reason
that
I'm
here
and
I
have
been
a
little
late,
I
have
injections
and
might
need
my
knees
now
so
I
am
getting
older
as
a
senior
citizen
but
I'm
here.
For
two
reasons
and
of
course
my
one
reason
is
people
were
sending
me
information
on
who
to
vote
for
for
City
Council.
That
is
the
first
time
this
has
ever
happened
to
me.
Q
They
usually
would
call
me
and
ask
me
who
would
you
like
and
who
do
you
want
on
your
City
Council,
because
they
always
respected
my
answers
that
my
mother
and
my
dad
had
taught
me
to
say
and
I'm
here
to
say
today
and
I
know
that
you
will
understand
I'm
in
Brighton
Heights
right
now
and
I
am
supporting
darling
hair,
and
why
am
I
doing
that?
Because
she
takes
care
of
Brighton
Heights
I
go
to
the
senior
citizen
on
McClure
Avenue
and
things
that
we
need.
Q
She
always
takes
care
of,
and
I
had
to
learn
that
from
our
Parks
and
Recreation
Center
staff.
So
I
just
want
to
let
you
know
if
I
lived
in
a
hill
district
I
would
certainly
be
with
mr.
Laval
I
would
be
West.
End
I
would
be
with
you
Smith.
If
I
was
Westinghouse,
if
I
was
any
I
would
be
with
you,
because
you
give
us
proclamations,
you
constantly
say
thank
you
to
everyone.
Who's
done
something
special
and
Southside
course
up
there
with
our
president
and
I
just
wanted
to
say.
Q
Thank
you
for
your
work
that
you
do
the
clerk's
that
are
here,
the
photographer
that
is
here
and
I'm
blessed
to
be
a
part
of
it
as
the
citizen
and
as
a
voter.
My
second
is
my
father.
As
I've
told
many
times
was
a
city
detective
with
mirror
Lawrence
and
he
appointed
him
and
even
though
I
am
against
the
gun,
I
am
for
the
gun,
because
his
gun
protected
many
people
in
many
ways
and
once
I
was
picked
up.
The
phone
and
I
told
my
dad.
Q
Q
Went
you
got
him
and
brought
him
back,
so
that's
what
that
gun
was
for
and
I'm
always
thankful
and
I'm
thankful
again
for
darling,
Harris
being
my
Councilwoman
and
for
every
one
of
you
that
City
Hall
and
our
council
chambers
and
our
judges,
because
without
our
judges,
my
dad
said
we
are
no
one.
So
I
must
thank
our
judges
who
take
care
of
me
every
day
and
thank
you
and
god
bless
you.
Thank
you
very
much.
Thanks
for.
X
B
X
You
very
much
over
the
past
seven
years
and
you
may
remember
in
2013,
I
sent
this
body
a
letter,
inviting
you
all
declare
it
and
some
of
you
weren't
here,
but
most
of
you
were
inviting
you
to
the
city
of
claritin
to
see
the
nation's
first
Department
of
disaster
resilience
when
the
federal
government
called
us
in
2013
our
corporation
to
come
in.
This
is
because
we
are
the
only
National
Public
Service
Corporation
in
the
nation.
I
need.
X
Have
over
500,000
citizens
who
share
information
with
us?
That's
not
just
domestically!
It's
also!
Globally!
When
we
come
before
you
to
share
information
with
you,
it
is
the
best
information
you'll
find
anywhere.
So
what
we
want
to
show
you
is
what
the
results
of
what
the
federal
government
called
for
in
2013.
They
asked
for
new
and
innovative
systemic
approaches
to
local
emergency
planning,
with
an
astute
ability
to
increase
the
resilience
of
local
citizens
to
the
destructive
effects
of
disaster
and
emergencies.
X
Cesd

from
a

level
from
a
county
level
from
a
local
level
and
for
the
first
time
ever
taking
it
to
the
most
vulnerable
citizens.
We
discovered
in
this
region,
which
would
be
the
neighborhood
level
you're
hearing
right
now,
Miss
Brown
talking
about
you,
can
get
information
with
this.
X
You
represent
the
citizens
as
well
together
we're
called
public
servants.
Why
are
we
bumping
heads
mr.
Burgess,
I'm
speaking?
Why
are
we
bumping
heads
when
we
both
are
doing
the
same
job?
One
of
our
ships
is
not
sailing
in
the
same
direction.
This
is

and

We
don't
need
your
money.
We
don't
need
your
participation
but
we'd
love
to
have
your
collaboration
thanks.
X
Y
Miller
and
Squirrel,
Hill
and
elsewhere
in
the
city,
I
am
a
global
intelligence
society
candidate
for
president
2020,
there
are
a
lot
of
issues
that
confront
this
council.
There
are
a
lot
of
issues
that
confront
our
state
and
our
country
and
I
can't
think
of
anything
more
important
than
what
mr.
Adams
just
said,
and
what
it
is
that
he
and
his
group
are
trying
to
do
one
of
the
ways
to
understand
that
is
through
what
he
refers
to
as
the
conscience
group.
Y
That
matters
a
very
great
deal
and
another
thing
that
matters
a
very
great
deal
to
me
is
that
he's
not
he
and
his
cohort
are
not
asking
for
any
money
from
anybody,
especially
not
from
from
from
the
government.
I
also
understand
that
you
perceive
yourselves
to
be
extremely
busy,
but
it
is
your
job
to
answer
people
when
they
when
they
contact
you
from
within
the
city.
You
know
we
do
page
you
nearly
$60,000
a
year
to
respond
to
questions,
to
offer
your
interpretation
of
concern.
You
did
so
I
think
very
well.
Y
At
least
those
of
you
who
were
here
miss
Harris,
especially
a
Miss
Rose
Gayle
Smith
at
the
PWSA
interview
for
dr.
de
mock,
although
I
have
said
I,
think
that
see
that
opened
up
a
lot.
It
opened
up
a
lot
on
the
axis
of
science,
because
I
think
we
really
need
that
here.
It
was
one
of
the
criticisms
that
Amazon
had
when
they
turned
down
the
HQ
to
for
Pittsburgh.
There
are
people,
including
graduates
from
our
Pittsburgh
Public,
School,
System
they're,
just
not
up
to
the
especially
the
scientific
job.
Y
Now
I
think,
that's
something
that
all
of
you
on
the
console
officer
mayor
should
be
stressing
that
it
is
not
only
important,
but
our
people
are
able
to
understand
scientific
concepts
to
do
especially
to
do
coding.
I
did
find
it
very
peculiar.
It
was
peculiar,
maybe
only
to
me
that
$248,000
was
laid
out
by
the
city
and
the
county
and
other
foundation
sources
for
maya
design
to
help
with
that
persuasion
which
didn't
really
work,
I,
think
that
was
an
excess
amount
of
money
to
be
spent
for
that.
Y
By
contrast,
a
couple
of
weeks
ago,
there
was
$248
for
stress
balls
for
a
women's
luncheon
that
the
city
paid
for
now
it
didn't
say
with
where
this
women's
luncheon
was
or
who
was
behind
it
see
we
need
specific
information,
so
we
can
make
sense
out
of
and
direct
responses
to,
our
emails
or
text
to
our
telephone
calls.
We
made
to
you
it's
extremely
important
for
citizens
to
be
citizens
via
awareness.

Adams

B
R
Smith,
thank
you
I
just
want
to
say.
Most
of
this
is
my
allocation
for
the
CDBG
funding
for
our
office,
but
I
would
only
want
to
thank
the
Birmingham
foundation
because
in
our
area,
where
you
have
a
lack
of
you,
know,
501
C
3s,
with
the
capacity
to
put
you
know
the
money
out,
as
in
the
be
reimbursed
the
way
that
these
dollars,
the
federal
government,
demands
these
dollars
or
allocated,
and
so
I
just
want
to
thank
the
Birmingham
foundation,
because
without
them
we
would
not
have
our
athletic.
R
Assisted
us
with
including
the
the
Mustangs
uniforms,
their
trophies
a
basketball
program
at
Langley,
it's
just
the
list
is
endless
and
what
they
helped
us
with,
and
I
really
want
to
thank
mr.
Bieber
and
the
Mount
Washington
in
Mount
Washington,
the
Rheem
rec,
formerly
room
rec,
which
is
now
Mount
Washington
Community

is
all
there
all
possible
because
Birmingham
Foundation
has
graciously
offered
to
serve
as
the
financial
conduit
without
taking
one
dime
from
us.
R
They
just
do
this
just
to
help
the
community
and
so
I
just
cannot
thank
them
enough
and
I
really
think
that
they
don't
get
the
recognition
as
other
foundations
do
that
they
deserve.
So
I
really
want
to
thank
them
for
their
for
their
work
in
our
community
and
they're.
Not
even
they
don't
even
represent
your
area
correct.
They.
B
R
I
just
really
want
to
thank
them,
because
when
I
call
around
us,
you
know
we
need
it
right
now
we're
looking
for
someone
to
put
the
money
out,
so
we
have
an
employment
center
in
our
district
and
just
even
that
is
just
a
challenge
for
us.
Everything
is
that
you,
without
having
the
organization
with
that
capacity,
to
you,
know,
put
the
money
up
front
front
first
and
wait
for
reimbursement,
and
they
are
so
gracious.
R
They
wait
for
reimbursement,
they
never
say,
but
I
cannot
tell
you
the
things
that
we
have
in
our
district
because
of
the
Birmingham

So
I

want
