B
Councilman

I
would
hope.
Okay

As

April,

2022
great.
E
E
As
well
as
the
senior
director
of
communities
for
repair
the
world
and
for
the
first
eight
and
a
half
years
of
my
career,
I
spent
my
time
as
a
tax
attorney
and
moved
into
nonprofit
work
with
repair
about
six
years
ago.
We're
an
organization
that
recruits
people
to
volunteer
amplify
the
work
of
our
service
partners
via
volunteer
recruitment.
We
mostly
work
around
food
justice
issues
and
education
issues.
E
We
recruit
people,
we
have
a
fellowship
program
where
folks
post-college
are
doing
a
year
service
with
us
and
they
not
only
do
some
direct
service,
but
they
recruit
people
to
serve
as
well
and
in
the
first
year
of
our
program,
we
had
around
a
thousand
people
participate
in
Pittsburgh
and
this
past
program.
Here
we
had
7,200
people
participate.
E
G
I,
thank
you
all
for
having
me
I'm
sarah
siegel.
I
have
a
consulting
firm
that
I
work
with
nonprofit
organizations
to
support
their
strategic
planning
and
leadership
engagement,
work.
I've
been
active
in
the
community
and
including
in
public
education
and
sort
of
grassroots
work
for
many
years
so,
and
that's
and
I'm
thrilled
to
be
considered
for
this
commission
I
really
believe
it's
important
for
contractors
to
be
held
to
a
standard
for
hiring
minority
and
women
businesses.
H
Morning,
my
name
is
Monica
Reese
I'm,
the
executive
director
of
Casa
San
Jose.
We
are
a
small
nonprofit
organization
located
in
the
South
Hills.
We
work
primarily
with
immigrants
from
Mexico
and
Central
and
South
America
I
have
been
working
with
Casa
San
Jose
for
about
five
years
now,
I've
been
in
the
city
of
Pittsburgh,
for
about
12
and
prior
to
coming
to
Pittsburgh
in
Ohio.
B
I
I
I
think
it's
great
that
on
these
Commission's
we've
people
that
work
with
everyone
and
have
a
diverse
background
in
working
with
people
all
throughout
the
community,
and
these
Commission's
are
very
important
when
you're
talking
about
not
only
human
relations
but
the
Equal
Opportunity
Review
Commission
is
really
important
when
we're
talking
with
contracts,
hiring
making
sure
everybody
has
an
opportunity
to
be
part
of
our
city.
So
I'm
excited
that
you
guys
are
willing
to
do
this.
As
I
mentioned.
I
You
know
my
squirrel,
Hill
residents
I
know
very
well,
and
you
know
they're
always
there
at
events,
whatever
the
cause
may
be,
you
guys
are
always
out
there
and
I.
Think
that's
great
that
you're,
a
part
of
the
community
and
you've
always
been
supportive.
I
do
want
to
give
Sarah's
daughter
a
shout
out.
She
helped
with
the
gun
legislation.
So
you
know,
knowing
that
kids
are
being
active
in
our
community,
is
really
important.
So
just
thank
you
for
your
willingness
to
do
it.

Welcome
to
Pittsburgh
City
Council,
steady,
Committee,
meeting
of
Wednesday
June
5th
2019,
our
first
order
of
business
is
public
comment.
Members
of
the
public
who
want
to
address
City
Council,
please
come
forward,
you'll,
be
giving
three
minutes
start
off
with
your
name
and
location.
The
green
light
means
the
start
of
three
minutes.
The
yellow
light
means
one
minute
to
summarize.
The
red
light
means
you're
Thomas
aspire.
Please
relinquish
the
podium.
I
want
to
remind
everyone
that
rules.
A
council
state
that
public
comment
is
limited
to
matters
of
concern
which
are
or
which
may
be
before.
L
M
Not
doing
well
so
guys,
you
know
y'all
knowing
so
he's
over
at
Mercy
wanted
to
say:
I
got
a
lot
cut,
I'm
happy
again,
I
need
about
a
lot,
so
I
won't
have
to
worry
about
going
through
this.
Any
more
I
appreciate
that
and
will
not
appreciate
Alicia
just
over
at
the
mayor's
office.
She's
been
a
trooper.
She
made
this
happen.
No
apologies
to
anybody
in
here,
but
I
got
what
I
wanted
done.
The
second
thing
is,
is
that
I'm
gonna
say
this
to
everybody
here.
M
When
the
city
goes
and
tears,
poverty
down,
you
must
put
in
an
act
that
some
kind
of
law
that
they
must
protect.
The
foundations
of
everybody's
home
I,
don't
care
where
you
live.
It's
it's!
It's
a
travesty
for
what
happens
after
the
buildings
are
torn
down
and
these
people
found
these
are
all
the
houses
they
got
sandstone.
They
don't
have
these
old
concrete
blocks
like
they
have.
This
is
sandstone.
You
know
sandstone
porch
it
sucks
in
what
it
does
this
thing.
M
L
F
N
O
O
O
The
doctors
have
said
about
the
drugs
two
different
drugs.
She
said
Yvonne
they've
gotten,
so
they
won't
even
give
you
the
pain,
give
you
the
pain,
medicine
in
the
hospital
she
said.
I
could
see
him
not
giving
me
medicine
out
in
the
street
that
supposed
to
be
so
strong,
she
said,
but
they
don't
care.
The
reason
why
I'm
saying
that
is
for
you,
doctors,
lawyers,
whoever
makes
a
decision
or
what's
gonna,
be
one
one
size
don't
fit
all.
O
Please
remember
that
when
my
sister
was
died
from
cancer,
she
says
the
pain
is
actually
in
your
bones
and
she
would
have
to
take
medicine
actually
almost
knocking
around
see
what
lot
of
people
don't
realize
until
you
see
them
in
the
pain,
you
can't
even
realize
what
they're
going
through
one.
My
son
got
that
in
his
back.
That's
why
the
doctor
said
what
was
these
marks
when
he
was
laying
on
the
floor?
Say:
you've
been
shot
my
son
and
stabbed
in
the
back.
He
punctured
his
colon
intestine
and
severed
his
kidney
in
ass.
O
I
meant
to
the
carrot
juice
when
I
saw
that
he
could
drink.
I
got
every
vegetable,
because
every
vegetable
work
on
a
different
part
of
his
body.
It
was
green,
he
drank
the
juice
in
15
minutes.
We
heard
that
fast
I
went
through
the
system.
My
son
was
out
of
the
hospital
in
28
days,
so
that
meant
he
was
not
eligible
for
to
give
Social
Security
disability,
but
I
saw
miss
so
much
bone.
If
someone
worked
in
myself,
why
do
you
have
to
be
in
so
much
pain?
O
And
she
said
to
me
that
you
can
we
talked
to
the
doctor
and
he
can
write
now
that
he's
not
to
suffer
my
son
suffered.
He
suffering
gets
that
he's
suffering
the
doctor.
Did
the
police
thought
he
gets
shot
is
back,
he
wasn't
shot,
he
was
stabbed
I'm
saying
this
for
kita
I
told
the
family
that
I
will
go
down
and
I
will
make
sure
they
understand.
There's
one
size
don't
fit
all
and
if
they're
in
pain,
what
did
the?
What
did
they
say
that
you
supposed
it
doctors
supposed
to
heal
and
not
injured?
P
P
What
she's
most
famous
for
is
her
analysis
of
Indian
microfinance.
You
know
like
small
loans
that
are
paid
back
in
small
amounts
monthly.
She
evaluated
the
effect,
especially
on
women
in
in
India
and
in
the
United
Kingdom,
and
what
she
found
in
reported
in
her
book
financial
izing,
poverty,
labor
and
risk
in
Indian
microfinance,
Stanford
2018.
What
she
found
was
that
they
actually
produced
the
opposite.
P
It
produced
more
inequality
than
than
less
inequality,
so
I
I
have
a
tendency
to
go
after
people
who
are
different
than
myself,
who
have
views
that
are
in
essentially
opposition
to
the
views
that
I
have,
and
if
you
have
references
of
people
in
the
city
and
in
our
state
that
that
conflict
with
or
different
from
those
that
you've
heard
me
articulate
here,
I
would
like
to
know
what
they
are.
You
are
resources
for
our
people.
You
know
and
I
want
you
to
be
better.
All
of
us
do
too
to
be
able
to
do
that.
P
F
This
is
not
something
that
the
city
has
imposed.
This
is
the
Port
Authority,
but
these
are
City.
Residents
are
being
significantly
stressed
this
morning
when
I
was
catching
signatures
before
coming
down.
Here,
people
were
telling
me
yeah,
they
have
to
look
at
their
GPS
and
if
it
goes
off
GPS,
then
they
know
they
have
to
run
up
a
block
and
catch
it
on
Morningside.
Otherwise,
that's
down
on
Chauncey
Street
people
who
have
stood
there
and
said
yeah
I
missed
my
bus
and
I
needed
to
catch
that
one.
F
F
F
That's
so
foreign
to
the
way
that
that
organization
of
the
neighborhood
functioned
and-
and
while
you
may
not
have
the
Port
Authority
under
you,
you
do
have
the
negotiations
with
the
Port
Authority
coming
up
where
they
want
to
do
something
with
BRT
the
unnecessary
routing
of
monies
into
the
Uptown
area
for
real
estate
speculators
and
their
unwillingness
to
take
care
of
the
city
residents
and
to
be
responsive
to.
It
should
be
something
that
you
keep
in
mind
and
bring
up
to
them
when
you're
holding
their
feet
to
the
fire.
What
are
they
planning
to
do?
F
In
those
instances?
I
mean
this
is
something
that
affects
the
city,
its
affects
the
City
residents
and
it's
something
that
council
can
do.
A
resolution
of
support
calls
to
the
various
entities
anything
like
that
that
might
help
the
residents
resolve.
This
would
be
much
appreciated
and
I
very
much.
Thank
you
for
your
time.
By
the
way,
this
is
the
routing
of
the
mapping
of
the
routing
I,
don't
know
if
it
shows
up
on
video,
but
it
is
a
routing
that
shows
that
this
is
a
long
stretch.
It's
five
bus
links
away
for
the
detour.

resolution
authorizing
the
mayor
and
director
of
Public
Safety
to
enter
on
behalf
of
the
city
into
a
professional
services
agreement
with
freedom,
indeed,
LLC
Reverend
Cornell
Jones
for
professional
services.
As
a
group,
violence,
intervention
coordinator
at
a
total
cost
not
to
exceed
three
hundred
twenty
seven
thousand
four
hundred
and
sixty-five
dollars.
The.
N
Q
L
R
L
T
J
R
Thank
you.
As
we
explained,
there
was
a
prior
grant
from
the
National
Institute
of
Justice
that
covered
the
cost
of
Reverend.
Jones
is
a
group
violence,
intervention
coordinator
and
that
grant
has
since
expired.
We
have
to
continue
his
services
and
I
can
turn
to
Commander,
Joseph
and
Sergeant
Glick
to
let
you
know
how
well
that
Cornell
Jones
has
served
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
and
the
bureau
please
be.
S
Reverend
Jones
started
his
employment
and
March
of
2016
I
believe,
as
our
outreach
coordinator
I've
been
nothing
but
impressed
with
his
work.
2016
we
had
191
non-fatal,
shooting
incidents
from
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
and
each
subsequent
year.
That
number
has
dropped
to
142
in
2017
in
114
in
2018,
and
we
are
below
last
year's
year-to-date
numbers
in
our
projections.
We
would
project
if
things
stay
the
course
about
96
non-fatal
shooting
incidents
in
2019.
If
things
if
the
numbers
project,
as
they
are
right
now,.
S
S
So
they
won
one
of
his
things,
he's
what
he
is
he's
the
the
conduit
between
the
police
and
outreach
in
the
community.
So
our
group
violence,
intervention
strategy
that
we
employ
in
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
as
we're
trying
to
reduce
or
eliminate
gang
and
group
violence.
What
Cornell
does
a
component
of
that
is
outreach
trying
to
reach
the
at-risk
members
of
the
community.
Young
males
who
are
either
at
risk
of
becoming
victims
of
violent
crime
were
the
perpetrators
of
violent
crime
and
the
numbers
that
I
gave
to
you.
S
There
kind
of
shows
the
decrease
in
and
what
I
think
is
the
the
benefits
that
GV
is
provided
in.
Cornell
has
been
a
major
part
of
that
mediation
between
gangs
and
groups
that
he
has
done
over
the
years
hard
to
reach,
folks
that
we
can't
have,
and
in
sergeant
Glick,
will
talk
to
you
about
custom
notifications
and
what
they
are
and
how
they
work
and
what
Cornell
does
in
that
area.
But
we
believe
that
these
have
been
a
big
factor
in
our
reduction
of
violent
crimes.
S
As
it
pertains
to
gangs
and
groups,
he
has
connections
with
human
Center,
the
Allegheny
County
Jail
in
various
prisons,
where
we
can
reach
at-risk
individuals
and
have
conversations
custom
notifications
with
them
and
also
when
they're
going
to
be
released,
an
integration
plan
to
get
them
back
into
society.
With.
J
S
Many
arrests
have
had
made
many
arrests
since
we
started
this
strategy
and
that's
supervised
by
sergeant
Glick
Cornell
works
24
hours
a
day.
Seven
days
a
week.
He
responds
to
shooting
scenes
to
the
hospitals
to
speak
to
the
families,
contacts,
influential
members
of
that
at-risk
person,
whether
it's
a
parent,
a
coach,
a
teacher
whomever
it
may
be-
maybe
Cornell
knows
them
and
if
he
doesn't
probably
99
times
out
of
a
hundred,
he
knows
somebody
who
does
and
he
makes
those
inroads.
So
we
can
have
those
conversations,
those
important
conversations
with
these
at-risk
individuals.
K
As
the
commander
said,
one
of
the
major
focuses
of
gvi
is
something
called
a
custom
notification.
That's
where
we
have
a
face-to-face
contact
with
the
at-risk
individual
or
the
person
or
people
most
likely
to
commit
the
next
stage
of
violence.
Over
the
last
couple
of
years,
Cornell's
touch
base
with
almost
100
at-risk
individuals
created
opportunities
for
mediation,
where
we're
actually
able
to
sit
at
a
table
in
discuss
ongoing
violence
and
how
to
end
the
violence
again.
This
doesn't
this
doesn't
interfere
with
any
investigations,
but
what
it
does
is
it
stops
the
violence
in
place.
K
T
From
the
working
relationship
that
Cornell
and
I
have
cultivated,
we
focus
a
lot
on
the
re-entry
or
their
returning
citizen
population.
This
group
of
individuals
are
looking
for
opportunities
to
do
positive
things
in
their
communities.
Where
they'll
give
me
a
call
and
say,
hey,
cornell
recommended
that
I
reach
out
to
you
and
I
can
connect
them
with
their
commanders
or
community
groups,
and
things
like
that,
so
that
they
are
now.
They
feel
as
though
it's
a
responsibility
to
right.
J
S
Yes,
SWAT
sputters
been
a
very
effective
tool
for
the
city
of
Pittsburgh.
It
directs
officers
to
obviously
areas
where
gun
fires
card,
where
they've
either
find
evidence
of
that
shooting,
or
sometimes
they
find
victims.
Sometimes
we
do
not
receive
a
9-1-1
call
for
the
shots
fired,
but
we
do
receive
an
a
shot,
spotter
notification
and
it
definitely
has
helped
us
in
our
investigations
and
save
lives
of
individuals
who
may
not
have
been
reported
otherwise.
Now.
J
J
J
J
S
S
T
Thing
to
add
is
there
has
been
a
shift
in
leadership,
and
so
the
bureau
is
very
supportive
of
this,
as
well
as
the
Public
Safety,
Director
and
I.
Think.
Without
that
support,
it
would
not
be
as
successful
as
it
is,
and
I
do
believe
that
it
was
probably
one
of
the
key
differences
between
previous
efforts
and
current
efforts.
T
J
L
J
B
I'm,
more
than
happy
to
support
your
work
and
vote
in
the
affirmative,
along
with
the
work
that
Reverend
Jones
is
doing.
My
question
is
more
around
the
funding.
It
is
for
three
years,
but
there's
a
two-year
contract.
One
year
option
is
the
option
on
both
sides.
We
can
choose
not
to
continue
Reverend
Jones.
You
can
choose
not
to
continue.
That's
both
ways.
Do
I
understand
that
correctly
and
if
that
would
be
the
case
for
whatever
reason,
then
the
total
number
would
reduce
be
reduced
down
from
the
327,000
okay.
M
U
You
all
for
being
here
for
all
the
work
that
you
do.
The
last
time
you
were
here,
I
had
a
lot
of
a
lot
of
comments
and
I
wasn't
really
happy.
I'm,
still
not
happy
about
some
of
the
things
that
happened,
but
your
public
safety
director
defended
you
to
the
to
the
hilt.
So
let
me
tell
you,
but
I
will
say
that
I
really
see
some
value
in
this
program.
I
do
see
some
concerns
and
I
should
tell
you
and
I
talk
pretty
often
and
I
can
say
of
all
of
you
at
this
table.
U
U
So
I
have
concern
with
that,
because
it's
not
happening
more,
though
it's
happened
more
than
once
over
the
past
few
years,
where
people
have
contacted
me
and
approached
me
about
their
concerns,
I
feel
sometimes
that
you
put
people
in
partway.
You
don't
put
them
in
all
the
way,
so
there's
no
real
buy-in
totally
and
so
I.
You
know.
Sometimes
we
argue
back
and
forth
whether
people
should
be
hired
full-time,
part-time,
all
those
things
and
for
me
it's
either.
U
Then
or
you
know,
threatened
in
some
way,
then
it's
not
really
good
for
them
as
well.
So
so
I
want.
You
to
be
mindful,
without
going
for
how
can
you
engage
the
whole
community
as
a
whole
and
make
people
assured
that
if
they
have
concerns,
they
can
bring
it
to
your
attention
and
that
those
people
there
feel
for
those
people
will
find
out
because
they
work
with
you
now
and
they
feel
like
they
have
some
kind
of
in
and
so
there's
a
lot
of
people
who
tell
me
things
that
they?
U
Yes
just
yesterday,
somebody
came
and
met
with
me
and
told
me:
they
had
some
concerns
and
they
were
afraid
to
speak
up
and
said
because
the
things
in
my
community
so
and
I
don't
want
to
jeopardize
it.
I,
don't
know
what
life
they're
living
in
I
mean
I,
don't
want
to
jeopardize
those
people
in
their
safety.
I,
don't
know,
I,
don't
know
what
happens
once
they
tell
people's
stuff
and
they're
just
they're
just
so
so
afraid
that
they
wanted
to
come
that
complaints
to
come
from
me.
T
U
I
think
someone
have
some
of
you
and
they
do
talk
to
you,
some
of
them
so
we'll
say,
but
but
I
do
think
that
there's
some
value
tonight
I
mean
I,
know
people
in
our
community
that
you
work
with
some
of
their
family
members,
but
these
the
kids
that
I
know
I
think
they
really
are
looking
for
some
help
and
they
they're
just
afraid
to
take
this
step,
that
that
step
because
they're
afraid
they
fear
for
their
lives.
To
be
honest
with
you
and
I
think
they're.
U
So
caught
up
in
this
thing,
so
I
mean
I,
don't
know
how
to
get
those
kids
help,
because
if
their
families
are
already
working
with
you
in
some
ways,
I
don't
know
how
they
get
them
direct
them
to
use
that
they're,
actually
getting
the
help
that
they
want
to
get
off
the
streets.
I.
Don't
know
how
to
do
that,
because
if
their
family
can't
get
him
their
own
house,
I
can
get
him
there.
You
know,
so
those
are
concerns
for
because
I
actually
have
one
kid
in
particular
I.
Think
about
him.
U
U
U
V
V
V
In
the
West
End
yeah
yeah
he's
got
I.
Guess
it's
fair
to
say,
resources.
He
he's
got
the
trust
of
the
community
where
he
can
go
to
people
who
are
at
risk.
It
might
not
always
trust
somebody
in
uniform.
That's
exactly
right.
Is
it
327,
that's
over
three
years,
so
is
it?
Is
that
his
salary,
then?
Is
it
its
salary
expenses.
R
R
W
X
X
X
So
it's
not
only
that
we
are,
you
know
finding
shooters,
we're
preventing
shootings
and
so
I'm
really
impressed
by
the
strategy,
but
I
had
the
same
kind
of
concern.
If
you
know
you've
got
one
person,
who's
got
the
talent.
How
do
we
institutionalize
this
and
is
there
going
to
be
a
way
where
we're
you
know
recreating.
T
Component
to
this,
or
so
in
the
RFP
process,
so
there
will
be
a
team
of
street
outreach
workers
that
were,
alongside
with
Cornell
dispersed
between
the
various
communities
doing
this
work
also
a
social
service
component,
so
that
we
can
make
sure
that
we
get
job
resources
and
resume
building
and
all
of
the
things
that
that
population
needs
when
trying
to
make
changes
in
their
lives.
Wonderful.
X
News
I'll
just
wrap
up
by
saying
we
would
love
to
hear
more
of
how
the
city
budget
can
help
support.
I
would
like
to
hear
more
about
how
the
city
budget
could
help
support.
You
know
to
fill
the
needs
that
you're
trying
to
fill
right
so
you're
working
with
the
at-risk
individuals
and
trying
to
connect
them
with
resources.
We
certainly
we
can
to
everything
we
need
our
partners
at
the
county.
Provide
most
of
the
social
services
budget
is
on
all
that
kinds
of
things,
but
we'd
still
like
to
hear
more
about
those
needs
moving
forward.
X
L
L
R
L
M
L
What
happened
they
decide
to
make
this
work?
They
put
their,
they
put
their
reputations
and
their
strength
behind
it,
and
then
the
program
worked.
That's
number
one
number
two,
mr.
LaBelle
and
I
are
committed
to
weave
the
numbers
show
that
it
works
right,
and
you
know
one
death
is
too
much,
and
so
we
are
committed
to
trying
to
even
get
outside
money
to
make
the
program
you
know,
even
as
Councilwoman
grosse
was
suggesting,
which
is
probably
going
to
be
about
a
million
1.5
million
dollars
a
year.
L
But
if
we
can
get
those
numbers
down
from
you
know
114
to
even
50
30,
you
know
40,
you
know
those
shootings.
Those
deaths
are
every
death
to
me
is
worth
unlimited
amounts
of
money
right.
Every
death
is.
Is
we
don't
know
what
that
life
could
have
been,
but
I
just
wanted?
I
really
want
to
thank
really.
L
Oh.
The
safety
director
has
rich
for
his
friendship
and
its
confidence
and
its
oneness
to
partner
with
us
to
do
this
and
to
chief
Schubert
in
his
absence.
First
chief
accept
the
new
role
now
is
to
go
into
community
right.
That's
the
next
phase
of
this
is
we've
kind
of
now
gotten
a
sense
of
what
it's
like
internally
and-
and
you
know,
those
are
at-risk
people,
but
then
how
do
we
get
ordinary
citizens
to
participate
right?
How
do
we
get?
How
do
it,
which
is
the
next
phase
right,
which
also
cost
resources?
L
L
Church
in
Pittsburgh
is
made
up
of
mostly
elderly
people,
they're,
mostly
singers,
and
the
life
that
the
young
people
are
living
is
completely
different
from
the
life
that
the
seniors
have
grown
up
and
lived,
and
even
though
they
will
open
their
doors.
You
have
to
do
that
environment,
that's
safe
for
them,
because
if
you,
if
those
populations,
don't
necessarily
mix
well
together
right,
they
can
mix
well
together,
but
you
have
to
put
safeguards
because,
because
it's
two
different
worlds,
you
know
I'm
a
senior.
L
Now
sorry
I
can
tell
you
the
life
that
some
of
these
young
kids
are
living
is
so
different.
The
life
I
grew
up
in
right,
but
I
think
we
can
do
it.
It
just
has
to
be
with
protection
and
carefully
done
so
that
you
know
it's
in
a
safe
environment
and
all
that
sort
stuff.
So
my
point
is,
though
we
can
that's
the
next
phase.
The
next
phase
is:
how
do
we
get
ordinary
citizens?
Because
in
order
to
stop
this
crazy
violence,
it
takes
all
of
us,
everybody
all
of
us
all
over
the
city.
L
S
That
part,
sometimes
we
do
it
together,
sometimes
frogs
and
click
and
Cornell
do
the
custom
notifications
together.
Sometimes
we're
not
welcome
law
enforcement
is
not
welcome
so
and
this
this
is
bigger
than
just
Cornell
okay,
so
he
is
our
coordinator
for
outreach,
so
he
is
the
hub
between
law
enforcement
and
the
outreach
teams.
Okay,
he's
a
coordinator
between
between
that.
So
there's
other
outreach
workers
that
come
and
do
custom
notifications,
like
I,
said
sometimes
we're
not
welcome
either
by
whomever.
S
J
J
L
U
Just
want
to
add
that
Cornell
is
amazing,
he's
actually
doing
some
work
on
the
west
side,
we're
working
on
the
skatepark
and
Sheridan
with
the
police
in
the
Antwon,
Rose
senior
and
B
Marshall
from
the
Juneteenth
event.
There's
a
group
of
us
that
are
trying
to
do
something
I
think
we
have
to
sit
down
with
the
rose
family.
U
To
services,
but
what
I
don't
like
is
when
all
of
a
sudden
there's
funding
all
of
a
sudden
churches
are
interested.
They
should
be
interested
every
single
day,
regardless
of
your
of
your
ability
to
to
raise
money
on
whatever
it
is
you're
helping
with
and
I
think
we
do
have
some
of
those
in
our
district.
But
there
are
some
that
I
like
to
call
out
a
little
bit
and
say
that
they
need
to
get
out
there
in
the
community
a
little
bit
more
often,
and
when
you
do
talk
about
the
community
outreach
workers.
U
I
hope
that
you
will.
This
is
what
started
the
whole
argument.
Last
I
hope
that
you'll
work
with
me
on
something
cuz
I
think
you
all
have
some
perception
of
who's
doing
what
in
our
community
and
that's
not
always
the
case,
and
sometimes
just
because
somebody's
better
at
marketing
themselves
doesn't
mean
somebody
isn't
better
with
the
community
with
the
youth
in
the
community,
and
we
have
a
lot
of
people
that
work
with
youth
in
our
community
and
they're.
Doing
I
mean
working
with
some
of
some
really
challenging.

to

this

I'm
very
happy

That
I
know
we've
been

it's

a
wonderful
feature

But
a
lot
of
it
had
to
do
with
the
way
they

Changing
the

around

I
think
a
lot
of
people
were
told
by

that
this

going
to

it
happened
once
they

I'm

I
just
want
to
recognize
the

and
to
thank
you
for
your
continued
support
at
the
Southside

between
you
know
the

organizations
the
Friends

my
office,
Senator

of
State

reach
and
the
mayor
and
the
administration
Southside

is,
is
turning
into
this
amazing
success,
and
it
really
is
largely
due
to
your
commitment
to
it
and
I
want
to
publicly
acknowledge
that,
and
thank
you
for
it.
Thank.
J
B
R
W
W
K
W
For
edification,
this
legislation
is
actually
the
design
of
the
park
correct,
which
is
related
to
up
above
for
the
grant
which
will
be
for
the
actual
construction.
So
when
that
grants
done
and
secured
they'll
become
producing
construction
documents
and
then
that
this
has
helped
helps
pay
for
that.
So
those
two
pieces
are
actually
related,
but,
as
you
know,
Southside
parks
gonna
have
several
phases.
This
is
only
just
phase.
We.

A
trail
okay
but
I,
don't
know
I
guess
when
I
talked
at
Tom
Murphy,
when
we
before,
when
all
the
trees
there
were
trees
cut
down
and
they
did
some
more
building
there.
If,
if
they
were
going
to
put
more
trees
in
there
to
try
to
suck
up
the
water.
Q
I,
don't
know
that
I'm,
sorry
I,
don't
have
the
details
on
that
in
front
of
me
right
now,
but
I'm
not
sure
that
this
includes
planning
abundant
trees.
We
do
work
closely
with
urban
forester
and
and
this.
Q
J
L
Q
This
is
just
the
routine
kind
of
modifications
of
approvals
for
sites
that
come
through
the
committee.
As
it
says,
this
was
one
of
the
omissions
that
when
we
made
our
original
code
changes
this
time
last
year.
So
this
was
one
of
the
sections
of
code
where
we
neglected
to
put
Doh
me
on
the
committee.
It
was
still
listed
as
DPW
DPW
remains
a
member
of
the
community.
This
just
adds
domi
additionally
to
the
committee
for
consideration
of
the
sites.
Thank
you.
J
Retired
used
to
do
with
this
and
and
keep
the
list
also
if
there
was
either
an
area
that
was
too
close,
they
would
talk
to
that
council
member
before
they
did
it
and
the
council
member
would
sign
off
on
it
or
if
they
decided
to
put
another
vending
site
in
that
area.
So
is
that
still
being
done
that.
J
J
L
B
Yeah
so
so
director
good
morning
and
welcome,
thank
you
for
being
here
on
bill.
1730
I
agree.
It
was
an
oversight
that
domi
is
not
added
as
part
of
the
the
committee
that
oversees
the
the
vending
sites
being
that
you've
managed
the
public
right
away.
So
if
there
is
a
desire
to
hold
I,
would
only
ask
that
we
not
hold
1730
that
were
able
to
complete
the
committee.
Allow
them
to
do
the
work
that
they
need
to
do,
but
if
you
do
have
a
desire,
counselor
them
to
hold
1731
over
the
list
of
approved
sites.
B
Well,
I'm
happy
to
support
that.
If
that
is
your
wish
or
if
you
desire
to
let
it
go
through,
we
can
get
the
list
of
sites
before
Tuesday.
If
we
don't
get
the
list
of
sites
before
Tuesday
I'll
be
happy
to
support
a
recommit
on
your
on
your
direction,
but
again
if
we
could
just
allow
17:30
to
go
through.
So
the
committee
can
do
the
work
that
they
need
to
do
and
nobody.
U
U
To
the
table
and
talk
to
the
council
members
because
I,
don't
think
I
mean
Pio
and
I
now
has
a
government
relations
person
and
there's,
there's
no
I
mean
there's
a
lot
of
new
government
relations,
people
that
are
supposed
to
be
working
with
council
members
and
I'm
gonna
be
honest
with
you.
I've
only
heard
from
one
or
two
you
know
every
so
often
and
so
I
I
think
that
they
need
to
just
have
that
conversation.

amending
resolution
number
840
authorizing
the

to
enter

an
agreement

so
as
to

an
additional

into
June

and
increased
the
cost
not
to

from
1

144,000
19

in
$0.08
to
1

Two
hundred
and
sixty
nine
thousand
nine
hundred
sixty
two

and
sixteen
cents.
L
X
Right
so
I
think
I'm,
remembering
that
you
were
here
it
wasn't
that
long
ago
for
the
I
guess
it's
for
the
906
994,
so
I'm
on
Bill
1734
and
we're
just
doing
a
change
order.
It
looks
like
am
I
following
that
correctly,
and
so
it
wasn't
that
long
ago
that
you
were
just
here
and
I
asked.
Why
are
we
paying
another
million
for
Axela?
And
that's
because
we
reused
and
I
think
the
answer
was
it's?
So
we
have
an
overlap
because
we're
moving
away
from
Axela
and.
C
X
I'm
getting
an
update
on
computron
tanks
later
this
afternoon,
and
so
this
is
a
change
order
going,
but
I'm
kind
of
not
I'm
getting
confused.
It's
like
nine
hundred
and
six
point
nine
thousand
and
then
to
1.1
million
or
so
and
out
and
then
underlined
I
have
to
1.2
million
and
I'm
kind
of
I'm
confused.
X
X
Maybe
I'm
just
having
deja
vu
but
I
feel
like
we
just
had
that
conversation
and
voted
it
and
now
we're
changing
a
dollar
amount.
There's
no
one
following
me
with
that
I'm
sorry
yeah,
so
the
dollar
amount
has
gone
up
slightly.
So
it's
not
really
a
new
bill.
Expiry
I
thought
we
had
already
approved
the
year
extension.
F
X
X
C

You
know
the
other
thing
is
that
this
is
a
really
an
IEP
discussion.
This
is
a
PLI
discussion,
because
this
is
almost
entirely
about
the
work
of
permits,
licenses
and
inspection.
I,
really
don't
think
it
should
be
under
a
council
in
Strassburger
committee.
I
think
it
should
have
been
a
conversation
that
the
chair
of
the
department
had
of
pol
I
had
with
myself
and
would
have
been
rightfully
in

so
I'll

call
over
