A
Second,
thank
you
all
in
favor,.
C
A
D
E
That
that
just
was
something
that
came
up
from
actually
former
council
member,
jim
farlow
who's
been
involved
with
our
connections
with
cuba
for
years
with
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
I
know,
I
believe,
council
president,
they
used
to
have
a
boxing
match
that
I
think
you
were
involved
in
with
some
people
in
the
west
end
with
the
boxing
crews
out
there,
as
well
as
in
brookline,
actually
with
councilman
coghill.
A
A
And
I
just
wanted
to
remind
our
speaker
that
everyone
that
then
everyone
that
the
rules
of
council
state
that
comments
are
limited
to
matters
of
concern
and
official
action
or
deliberation
which
are
or
may
be
before,
city
council
profanity
is
not
permitted.
May
we
have
the
first
speaker
please
and
when
the
first
speaker
is
ikuhana,
hel
makina.
C
This
will
be
a
reminder
that
justice
delayed
is
justice
denied,
whereas
the
aboriginal
american
people
shall
fully
exercise
are
indefensible,
inherit
rights,
various
acts
and
deeds,
but
not
limited
to
the
revitalization
of
our
culture,
whereas
we,
the
people,
shall
revise,
enhance
and
ensure
equity
and
liberty
to
indigenous
american
people,
whereas
we
shall
restore
and
establish
the
quality
of
life
through
our
ancestral
culture,
sustainable
practices
and
actions.
Indeed,
it
is
our
goal
and
duty
to
restore
balance
to
the
earth,
to
restore
harmony,
to
restore
unity.
D
A
Thank
you.
Thank
you
for
taking
the

A
H
I
Thank
you,
councilman
krauss.
Yes,
I
just
wanted
to
you
know,
comment
on
director
gable.
I
had
a
feeling
that
you
know
he
he
may
be
retiring
and
it's
really
a
big
loss
to
the
city.
I
really
felt
of
all
the
departments.
I
look
at
the
departments
as
really
their
own
businesses,
but
I
really
thought
he
had
a
grasp
on
what
he
was
doing
he's
been
there
for
years
and
years.
You
know
when
I
called
him
he
was.
You
know
right
on
it,
no
matter
what
it
was.
I
You
know
it
was
honest
with
me
of
things
that
they
couldn't
do,
and
you
know
he
made
sure
things
that
I
asked
that
got
done.
That
did
get
done
so
so
a
big
loss.
I
just
wanted
to
say
you
know
I'll,
miss
him.
He
was
really
really
good
to
work
with,
on
my
part
and
councilman
krauss
and,
madam
president,
I
hope
we
can
break
ground
for
the
fourth
division,
where
he
departs
because
he
was
seeing
it.
I
love
his
his
phrase,
for
it
is
a
campus
because
you
know
we
have
public
works.
I
We
have
emt
there
and
I
and
I
love
that
word
for
it
it's
going
to
be
a
beautiful
facility.
I
just
hope
he's
there
to
join
in
and
councilman
krauss.
I
know
you
wanted
to
do
it
before
the
end
of
the
year
and
I'm
all
for
that
now.
In
light
of
you
know,
director
gable's
retirement.
I
Thanks
and
you
know
appreciate
his
service
just
want
to,
let
him
know
that.
H
Let's,
thank
you,
madam
president
and
councilman.
Thank
you.
Let's,
let's
set
up
a
phone
call
with
the
administration,
let's,
okay
yeah,
I
I
I
just
you
know
when
I
think
of
mike
gable.
The
word
gentleman
comes
to
mind.
You
know,
and
I've
been
here
now.
I
I
I
think,
I'm
in
my
13th
year
now
and
it's
been
nothing
but
a
pleasure
working
with
him
every
step
of
the
way.
Just
the
consummate
professional-
and
you
know
the
call,
never
goes
unreturned.
The
email
never
goes
unanswered.
H
The
difficult
problem
or
question
never
goes
unresolved
and
he's
a
gem
and
we'll
miss
him
greatly
and
mike
I
I
just
I
wish
you
nothing,
but
the
best
in
in
whatever
you
choose
to
do
from
this
point
on.
Thank
you.
J
I
know
I'm
my
screen's
the
same
way.
I
appreciate
it,
so
I
am
lucky
to
count
mr
gable
as
one
of
my
constituents,
but
I
have
the
same
experience
as
other
council
members
that
it
it's
so
wonderful
for
us
and
for
our
constituents
that
he's
always
so
immediately
responsive
right,
and
so
I
think
one
of
our
best
departments
is
environmental
services.
J
If
at
least
we
have
that-
and
I
was
just
recalling
this
year,
especially
this
construction
season-
we
had
a
nice
long,
construction
season
with
favorable
weather
and
I
I
feel
like
there
were
a
dozen
times
that
I
said
thank
you
to
dpw
on
my
social
media
for
the
wonderful
projects
they
completed
this
year,
and
so
I
just
wanted
to
thank
especially
in
the
parks
so
so,
and
I
think
a
lot
of
council
districts,
so
many
playgrounds.
So
many
basketball,
you
know
courts
so
many
baseball
fields.
J
It's
really
wonderful!
That
he's
had
a
the
dpw
as
a
whole
has
had
a
really
wonderful
year
and
I'm
glad
we
had
a
favorable
construction
season,
but
he's
faced
a
lot
of
hard
times,
because
it's
not
always
favorable
weather
and
there's
snow
storms
and
landslides
and
all
kinds
of
things.
And
I
just
want
to
say
thanks
mike
for
always
being
there.
J
H
Okay,
if
our
council
president,
if
no
one
else
is
going
to
join
in,
I
just
want
to
echo
councilwoman
gross's
remarks
about
environmental
services.
When
I
first
came
in,
I
had
the
pleasure
to
chair
the
public
works
committee
and
went
down
to
meet
with
them
at.
I
think
it
was
like
4
30
in
the
morning,
and
I
rode
with
them.
I
gotta
tell
you
they
rock,
they
simply
rock,
and
you
know
as
baseline
as
that
is
you
know.
H
Governments
are
formed
for
baseline
procedures
and
one
of
them
is
to
make
sure
the
garbage
gets
picked
up
and
men,
the
the
men
and
women
of
environmental
services.
They
they
do
it
better
than
anybody
just
had
to
say
that.
A
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
Okay,
any
other
members,
so
I'm
going
to
say
that
I
want
to
also
thank
director
gable.
He
I
actually
worked
with
public
works.
It
was
one
of
the
first
departments
I
worked
with
as
a
community
person
when
I
ran
an
athletic
association,
we
had
to
have
fields
taken
care
of,
and
you
don't
realize
how
important
that
is
and
how
many
times
people
push
for
those
those
maintenance,
the
maintenance
that
needs
done
in
those
fields,
and
it
really
takes
care
of
a
lot
of
kids
in
the
community.
A
You
know
that
he
was
accessible
to
all
of
us
as
he
became
the
director
and
for
me
I
was
friends
with
the
previous
director
and
and
assistant
director,
and
I
thought
it
was
going
to
be
a
real
challenge
to
get
to
know
and
get
to
work
with
director
gable
on
a
different
level,
and
he
was
very
kind.
He
was
always
very
responsive.
A
You
know,
and
these
these
are
the
the
people
were
losing
so
much
institutional
knowledge,
as
as
he
and
some
of
the
others
moved
on.
They
got
us
through
act
47
and
our
parks
were
amazing
during
that
time
and
and
environmental
services,
one
of
the
best
things
that
we
know
that
we
have
but
they've
also
maintained
our
pools
and
kept
pools.
Open,
they've
kept
ball
fields.
A
You
know
really
in
great
condition
and
they've
filled
potholes
and
paved
streets
and
put
up
signage
and
did
all
that
until
you
know
some
of
that
splitted
off
into
domi,
but
during
some
of
the
most
difficult
times
they
kept
this
city
moving,
and
I
just
want
to
thank
him
for
his
service
during
those
years,
even
when
he
was
before
he
was
director,
but
even
after
he
was
director
for
being
so
responsive
to
the
city
of
pittsburgh,
and
I
wish
him
a
lot
of
good
luck
and-
and
I
wish
him
well
and
I
hope
that
he
enjoys
a
lot
of
days
of
fishing,
because
I
know
he
really
enjoys
in
doing
that.
A
H
So
move
brief
question.
Okay,
madam
clerk,
are
we
reassembling,
then
at
noon
or
are
we
going
directly
into
the
budget
overview.
F
A
Thank
you,
and
I
want
to
thank
the
clerk's
office
and
imp
and
the
city
channel
folks,
david
and
them
for
everything
that
they're
doing
to
keep
these
meetings.
It's
so
challenging
and
they're
doing
a
great
job.
So
I
want
to
thank
everyone
with
that
said.
Can
we
have
a
motion
to
approve
the
minutes
and
adjourn
the
meeting.
