A
A
B
B
Thank
you,
madam
clerk,
and
for
the
record.
We
are
expecting
council.
Members
might
join
us
later
right
now.
It's
myself
councilwoman
teresa
kel
smith,
and
when
other
members
join
us
we'll
make
sure
we
announce
them.
Our
first
order
of
business
will
be
presentations
by
representatives
from
cabaret
llc.
If
any,
do
we
have
any.
B
C
The
two
registered
speakers
are
from
cabaret:
the
attorneys
yeah
yeah.
B
So
let's
go
to
a
public
comment,
then
we'll
have
start
with
michael
hudak.
Michael,
are
you
with
us?
D
D
I
suppose,
but
we
have
this
license,
that
we're
trying
to
move-
and
my
client
has
actually
been
in
the
banquet
and
catering
business
for
over
10
years
now
she
started
out
when
she
purchased
the
building
on
frankstown
avenue
and
built
it
up
to
what
it
is
today.
She's
made
significant
interior
changes
to
the
building
to
really
make
it
a
nice
place
that
is
available
for
people
to
hold
their
special
events,
whether
it's
a
birthday,
a
wedding
conferences
and
she's
built
quite
a
great
deal
of
goodwill
within
the
community
that
she
she's
located
in
she's.
D
A
longtime
resident
of
that
area,
and
one
thing
that
we
wanted
to
make
perfectly
clear
to
the
council
is.
This
is
not
a
situation
where
cabaret
llc
is
intending
to
bring
a
liquor
license
into
the
city
and
operate
a
restaurant
and
bar
from
7
a.m,
to
2
2
a.m.
Every
morning
or
every
day,
this
is
a
situation
where
the
liquor
license
is
just
going
to
be
used
for
those
scheduled
catered
events
on
those
special
occasions-
and
this
isn't
going
to
be
another
bar
in
the
franks
on
frankstown
road.
E
Yes,
okay,
good
good
afternoon,
everyone,
my
name
is
simone
godson,
as
you
know,
and
I
am
the
owner
of
cabaret
banquet
hall
at
79,
28
frankstown
avenue,
and
I
was
raised
in
homewood
where
our
building
is
situated.
Currently
I've
been
there
for
10
years
since
2009
I
purchased
a
building
and
I
am
a
retired
police
officer
of
23
years,
I'm
retired
for
eight
years
as
well.
When
I
purchased
the
building.
E
I
really
didn't
know
what
I
wanted
to
do
with
it,
but
it
turned
into
what
it
is:
it's
a
beautiful
space
for
our
community
to
have
every
event
that
they
could
imagine
it's
affordable
for
the
community.
It's
a
beautiful
space.
It
was
literally
built
from
scratch,
with
the
exception
of
building
it
from
the
ground
up.
You
know,
and
I
have
two
sons,
I'm
a
grandmother
of
one
and
my
goal
is
to
have
my
business
be
a
legacy
for
my
children
later
in
life.
E
I
wanted
the
opportunity
to
allow
them
to
have
a
piece
of
myself
and
a
legacy
in
a
community
in
which
I
grew
up,
which
is
blighted.
You
know
so
we
wanted
to
give
that
to
our
children
and
let
them
know
that
this
is
what
we
worked
hard
for
and
allow
them
the
same
opportunity
that
I
have
for
myself.
We,
I
supplement
my
income
with
this
business.
It's
been
viable
for
10
years.
We've
had
no
problems
there,
it's
a
beautiful
space.
We
have
families,
they
come
there
continuously.
E
They
look
forward
to
coming
to
our
space.
They
look
forward
to
the
improvements
that's
been
made
and,
like
he
said,
like
my
attorney
michael
hudak,
said
it's
no
intention
to
open
up
a
bar
for
our
space.
Our
space
is
unique
to
the
community,
it's
one
of
a
kind
in
the
community
and
we
stand
aside
and
we
stand
alone
from
anyone
in
our
community
and
any
of
our
competitors
out
there.
E
We
want
to
afford
that
to
the
to
the
guests
at
our
space
at
a
nice,
elegant,
classy
environment,
where
they
feel
safe,
they
feel
welcomed
and
they
feel
appreciated,
so
that
we
want
to
offer
our
community
our
people
who
come
in
from
all
over
to
see
and
enjoy
a
wonderful
environment
for
homewood
that
we
do
not
have
currently-
and
I
have
michelle
here-
who's
my
best
friend
if
it
would
be
okay,
if
she
would
say
if
she
could
say
a
couple
of
words
as
well
in
regards
to
cabaret,
would
that
be
okay.
B
A
F
But
I've
I've
watched
simone
the
the
hard
work
that
she's
put
in
to
bringing
a
literally
a
warehouse
into
something
that
is
so
beautiful.
I
wish
you
all
could
see
it
come
and
see
and
experience
it
yourself,
I'm
so
proud
of
her.
F
She
could
have
taken
her
money
and
put
it
anywhere
else,
but
as
a
servant
to
the
city
of
pittsburgh,
she
felt
that
it
would
bring
nothing
but
good
for
her
to
bring
a
banquet
hall
to
to
to
the
humble
community
and
I've
watched
her
work
so
hard,
and
I
and
I've
watched
how
she
is
showing
and
being
an
example
to
her
children
and
to
the
community
even
for
funerals
and
re-pass
on
she.
F
She
she
allows
the
community
to
come
there
to
utilize
the
space
for
things
like
that
as
well,
and
actually
the
the
customer
base
really
has
become
family
and
it's
it's.
It's
become
a
reputable
space
where
no
crime,
it's
usually
family
events
and
I'm
just
so
proud
to
set
to
be
a
part
of
it.
I've
watched
her
the
the
the
night,
the
sleepless
nights,
the
you
know.
F
Sometimes
our
children
have
to
you
know
you
know
miss
their
mom
because
of
what
she's
doing,
but
what
they
understand
that
it's
it's
for
them
and
it's
for
the
community,
and
I
just
hope
that
you
all
approve
her
request.
E
B
You
thank
you
very
much
and
that
exhausts
the
business
before
this
council
for
this
public
hearing.
The
meeting
will
be
we
adjourn.
Madam
clark,
could
you
say
tell
us
when
this
will
appear
on
the
agenda.
C
It'll
go
back
into
standing
committee
on
wednesday
and
the
following
wednesday,
tuesday.
It
should
appear
for
final
action.
