A
C
A
A
Great
job,
thank
you
very
much
and
before
I
called
the
Reverend
up
to
give
the
invocation
I
would
like
to
recognize
some
elected
officials.
You
may
be
seated
that
some
elected
officials
that
have
joined
us
this
morning.
We
have
Senator
Jay,
Costa
County.
A
D
With
that
in
mind,
please
pray
with
me
if
you'd,
like
Holy,
Spirit,
Eternal
Source.
Creator
of
all,
you
have
bound
us
together
in
this
common
life,
and
you
have
given
us
Visions
for
how
this
common
life
could
be
for
how
this
city
could
be
a
city
where
we
are
at
peace
with
our
neighbors,
a
city
where
Justice
heals
the
broken
places,
a
city
where
workers
enjoy
the
wealth.
D
A
city
that
sings
with
music
and
art
at
its
best
government
is
a
tool
for
reshaping
our
city
for
nudging.
It
towards
this
picture
of
possibility
that
we
confess
that
we
have
sometimes
misused
it.
We
sometimes
neglect
our
hopeful
visions
of
the
future,
rather
than
use
our
laws
to
build
our
common
life
together.
D
We
know
the
pressure,
they
endure,
the
conflict
of
competing
interests,
the
struggle
to
stay
true
to
their
values.
So
we
pray
that
barb
will
use
the
power
that
we
have
lent
her
to
Serve
the
People.
Well,
we
pray
that
she
will
have
both
the
strength
of
her
convictions
and
the
humility
to
learn.
We
pray
that
she
will
hear
the
prophets:
Among
Us,
who
say
that
our
city
is
not
yet
livable
for
everyone.
D
E
Standing
in
the
late
in
the
days
leading
up
to
the
Festival
of
Lights
Hanukkah,
we
strive
to
intern
internalize
the
message
of
the
candles,
although
at
times
the
world
may
seem
a
dark
and
dreary
place,
we
have
the
potential
to
light
a
candle
of
Hope
and
warmth
to
to
illuminate
the
darkness.
Dear
God,
please
help
our
elected
officials
who
are
most
in
position
to
do
so.
May
our
blessed
countries
serve
as
a
beacon
of
light
for
people
of
of
all
faiths
and
walks
of
life.
A
A
F
G
G
It's
truly
an
honor
to
be
here
today.
I've
done
this
on
numerous
occasions
and
I
look
forward
to
working
with
Barbara
and
her
staff
to
better
the
communities
of
Greenfield,
Hazelwood,
Lincoln,
Place,
Squirrel,
Hill
and
again.
I
know
that
she's
committed
individual
and
will
commit
herself
to
this
job.
And
with
that,
would
you
please
raise
your
right
hand
I.
H
I
I
A
J
I
I
Okay,
so
well
before
I
start
I
just
quickly
is,
is
County
controller
Corey
O'connor
here
hi
stand
up,
Corey,
okay
and
everybody.
Please
give
Corey
a
round
of
applause.
Thank
you.
I
So
he
he
served
in
this
office
for
12
years,
and
you
know
we.
We
all
owe
him
a
debt
of
gratitude.
So
thank
you
Corey
yeah
yeah.
So
let
me
start
I
just
want
to
say
thank
you
thank
you
to
everyone
here
for
taking
the
time
out
on
a
busy
Monday
to
come
and
celebrate
this
day
and
this
office.
I
I
I
So
I
have
to
be
honest
with
you
all
I
woke
up
on
November,
9th
feeling
very
nervous,
like
oh
man.
How
are
we
going
to
be
able
to
do
this?
I
I
So
so,
as
someone
who's
brand
new
to
city
government,
I
have
to
say
that
I
am
really
impressed
by
the
hard
work
and
dedication
of
every
single
person
that
I've
met
here
so
far,
so
to
all
of
you
out
there
serving
the
people
of
Pittsburgh
I
want
to.
Thank
you
too,
and
I
want
to
say
what
an
incredible
honor
it
is
to
have
been
chosen
to
serve
with
you.
I
So
and
I
I
know
everyone
everyone's
probably
looking
at
their
watches.
We've
got
meetings
to
get
back
to
work.
To
do
so.
I'm
gonna
wrap
it
up,
but
you
see
the
thing
about
District
Five.
Is
it's
really
unique?
It's
a
microcosm
of
this
city
as
a
whole.
We've
got
it
all.
We've
got
some
of
the
wealthiest
and
most
powerful
people
all
the
way
to
some
of
the
poorest
and
most
vulnerable
and
we've
got
everyone
in
between.
I
I
A
K
J
J
L
Councilwoman
Warwick
so
good
to
see
you
here.
We
are
really
excited
to
work
with
you
and
and
again.
If
anyone
in
Chambers,
who
is
your
supporters,
didn't
already
know,
your
councilwoman
elect
has
been
sitting
in
Chambers
with
us.
Every
single
session
I
think
she
has
better
attendance
than
any
single
one
of
us
already
talking
yeah,
so
you've
elected
a
great
leader,
and
we
look
forward
to
working
with
her.
Thank
you.
Barb
thank.
M
Yeah,
thank
you,
madam
president.
Councilwoman
welcome.
This
is
a
an
exciting
Journey
that
you
have
begun
here
today.
It's
really
nice
to
have
a
full
complement
of
all
nine
members
here
that
we're
a
full
body.
You
get
to
take
your
first
action
starting
tomorrow
when
we
vote
on
a
I
think
it's
a
670
million
dollar
budget
of
nothing
like
you
know,
starting
at
the
top,
but
I
wish
you
I,
wish
you
nothing,
but
the
best
it
is
such
an
honor
to
to
be
here.
M
You
you're
you're,
beginning
to
realize
that
what
it
what
it
takes
to
to
get
here,
what
it
takes
to
stay
here
and
to
have
the
the
love
and
support
and
the
hard
work
and
dedication
of
constituency
that
clearly
loves.
You
believes
in
you
and
and
those
that
they've
chosen
well
to
put
you
here
so
we're
here
to
help
and
support
you
in
every
way
that
we
can
you'll
find.
We
are
a
very
Collective
body.
We
work
well
together.
M
We
work
well
with
the
administrators
because
we
know
we
have
a
job
to
do
here
right
and
we're
all
here
to
try
to
to
get
that
job
done.
So,
like
you
said,
our
doors
are
always
open,
we're
here
for
you
as
well
and
on
this
very
momentous
day
for
you.
We
wish
you
nothing,
but
the
best
so
welcome.
N
Thank
you,
councilwoman!
Congratulations,
as
you
noted
in
your
remarks.
It
is
indeed
a
privilege
and
honor
to
be
selected
to
serve
the
constituency
and
so
I
believe
you'll.
Do
that.
Well,
as
already
noted
by
my
other
members,
you've
been
here
since
day,
one
listening
and
paying
attention
and
meeting
with
the
administration
meeting
with
council
members
so
that
you
can
indeed
do
your
best
and
to
the
extent
that
I
can
be
of
service
and
help
for
you
I.
Certainly,
my
door
is
open
and
I
wish
to
have
helped
you
the
two.
The
best
I
can.
O
Councilwoman
Warwick,
it's
wonderful
to
have
you
on
Council
I.
Am
it's
been
really
nice
getting
to
know
you
these
last
few
months
and
I
think
that
no
one
has
any
doubt
in
their
mind
that
you
are
a
persistent
advocate
for
your
community
and
that
you
will
follow
up,
but
I
think
what
we've
learned
already
and
what
your
constituents
have
learned
already
is
that
you
will
deliver
as
well.
You
have
already
delivered-
and
you
have
you've
just
been
sworn
in
today,
so
I
look
forward
to
working
with
you.
O
I
work
look
forward
to
working
collaboratively
on
a
lot
of
different
issues,
especially
since
our
district
share
a
border
and
it's
I
hope
I'm,
not
taking
the
wind
out
of
council
president
sales,
it's
nice
to
have
four
women
on
Council
again.
Thank
you.
H
H
You
congratulations,
councilman
Warwick
I'm,
looking
forward
to
having
a
new
desk
mate,
and
you
know,
I'm
also
looking
forward
to
not
being
the
new
person
on
Council
anymore,
so
welcome.
I
also
want
to
mention
that
I
think
we
align
on
a
lot
of
issues
and
I'm
looking
forward
to
working
with
you
on
them
and
I
wish
you
all
the
best
in
serving
your
your
community
and
your
constituents.
A
And
I'm
just
going
to
say
yes,
we
do
have
finally
have
four
women
back
on
Council
so
and
and
we're
looking
forward
we're
really
looking
forward
to
working
with
you.
The
last
time
we
had
four
women
on
Council.
It
was
back
when
councilman
rudiak
was
here
and
we
caused
a
little
bit
of
shake-ups
around
here
and
I
would
just
say
we're
looking
forward
to
shaking
things
up
with
you
too.
A
But
I
will
also
say:
you'll
learn
to
our
male
counterparts.
Are
male.
A
Colleagues
are
absolutely
amazing
to
work
with
and
Care
tremendously
about
women's
issues
and
things
that
affect
the
city
of
Pittsburgh,
so
I
think
together
we
make
an
awesome
team
and
we're
ready
to
roll
up
our
sleeves
and
get
ready
to
work
for
the
City
of
Pittsburgh
and
our
residents
together
as
a
team
and
with
that
said,
I'm
going
to
also
restructure
the
Committees
councilwoman
strasberger
will
now
have
Parks
and
Recreation
councilman
Burgess
will
now
have
HR
and
I
want
to
thank
councilman
Burgess
because
he
graciously
made
the
arrangements
because
councilwoman
Warwick
really
wanted
inp,
and
so
now
you
will
now
be
the
chairperson
of
imp
and
all
other
members
will
remain
the
same.
A
And
before
we
close
this
meeting,
I
want
to
acknowledge
that
you
have
all
played
an
important
role
in
councilwoman,
Warwick's
personal
life
and
in
her
campaign
in
public
for
public
office.
I
welcome
the
many
Community
leaders,
ministers,
friends
and
families
members
gathered
here
today
in
the
council
chambers.
Thank
you
for
being
here
and
thank
you
for
being
so
so.
Supportive
of
councilwoman
and
I
would
like
to
announce
that
the
immediately
following
the
reception
there
will
be
reception
immediately.
Following
the
meeting.
There
will
be
a
reception
in
council's
large
conference
room
and
you're
all
invited.
A
D
F
There
yeah,
thank
you,
praise
the
Lord.
Everyone
good
thing
about
prayer
are
just
many
good
things
about.
One
thing:
I
like
acknowledge
that
it
crosses
over
all
political
boundaries,
racial
boundaries,
Geographic
boundaries,
no
matter
what
religion
you
practice
prayer
is
part
of
that,
and
today
we
would
like
to
give
a
special
prayer
to
our
Barber
father
God.
F
We
ask
father
that
you
bless
her.
Keep
her
strong
and
the
power
of
the
Lord
keep
her
walking
on
the
pathway
that
brought
her
just
for
her
before
she
even
began.
When
we,
the
announcement
was
that
she
won
we
began.
We
were
beginning
to
pray
for
her
long
before
then
we
don't
have
to
worry
about
her
Integrity
her
character
because
we
found
out
who
she
was
before
she
even
became
elected.
F
We
asked
father
that
you
keep
her
safe
from
male
men,
Traditions
that
maybe
boy
the
word
of
God
keep
her
walking
in
the
pathway
of
righteousness
and
and
build
a
shield
around
her
so
that
she
can
protect
the
people
God's
people,
especially
the
marginalized
individuals
that
are
located
in
her
community.
Well
God.
We
ask
this
in
the
name
of
Jesus,
our
lord
and
savior
amen,.
A
A
Even
though
councilman
O'connor
really
did
a
lot
himself,
but
they
were
some
of
the
nicest
people
that
ever
called
our
office.
I
mean
they
were
really
kind,
no
matter
they
were,
they
were.
They
wanted
what
they
wanted,
but
they
were
really,
but
they
were
really
good
and
really
kind
when
when
they,
when
they
called
always
very
grateful,
so
I
just
want
to
say
I
think
you'll
have
a
good
time
representing
some
really
amazing
people
and
thank
you,
councilman
O'connor.
