we
expect
to
be
relatively
brief.
We
have
no
members
in
attendance,
but
that
does
not
mean
members
may
not
be
viewing
within
their
offices.
Our
first
order
of
business
is
going
to
be
a
brief
presentation
by
our
applicant
and
so
Mark.
If
I
can
can
I
turn
the

request
that
the
city
passive
municipal
or
pass
a

development.
C
In
order
for
you
to
make
a
decision
on
our
request,
let
me
just
provide
you
a
briefly
with
some
background
on
Kira
Sushi
Kira
Sushi
USA
Inc
is
a
subsidiary
of
cure.
Sushi
Inc,
a
Japanese
based
Sushi
chain
with
over
400
restaurants
in
Japan
Taiwan
and
the
United
States
Cura
Sushi,
USA
Inc
went
public
in
2019
is
currently
traded
on
NASDAQ.
C
It
is
located
in
Irvine
California
and
has
grown
to
become
the
largest
revolving
sushi
bar
chain
in
the
United
States,
with
45
locations
throughout
the
U.S
in
15.
Different
states,
including
one
currently
operating
in
Philadelphia
Sushi,
is
a
fast-growing
Innovative
and
technologically
forward
restaurant
Concepts
serving
authentic
Japanese
Cuisine
through
an
engaging
revolving
sushi
service
model.
It's
a
family-friendly,
full-service,
casual
dining,
restaurant,
combining
advanced
technology,
premium,
premium
ingredients
and
affordable
prices,
allowing
guests
to
control
the
variety
portioning
and
check
size
and
Pace
their
dining
experience.
C
As
I
said
before,
they're
open
for
lunch
and
dinner,
their
hours
of
operation
are
Monday
through
Sunday
11
A.M
to
9
p.m.
They
won't
have
any
live
music
or
take
out
beer.
This
is
not
the
kind
of
place
people
are
going
to
come
and
hang
out
and
drink.
There's
no
video
games,
pinball
machines,
poker
machines,
dart
boards,
etc,
etc.
That
keep
people
in
an
establishment.
That's
serving
alcohol
location
is
a
little
over
3
800
square
feet
and
we'll
have
a
seating
for
129
customers
we'll
employ
between
30
and
44
and
part-time
employees.
C
Alcohol
is
served
as
a
complement
of
the
food
and
not
the
main
attraction
at
Cara
Sushi.
It
makes
for
a
consistent
product
nationally.
C
A
Very
good
well
said:
thank
you
appreciate
your
your
time
and
effort
Mark
Allison.
Would
you
introduce
yourself
first.
D
Make
just
you
know
just
welcoming
the
a.
A
D
Fun
business
model
that
I've
seen
in
other
countries
and
also
maybe
offering
a
couple
of
resources
to
the
owners
and
operators
that
our
office
does
can
organize
as
safety
trainings
for
Hospitality
businesses
would
love
to
have
them
participate
in
a
newly
forming
South
Side
Hospitality
partnership
organization
on
the
South
Side.
Would
you.
D
Them
as
part
of
that
Community
too
I
know
you're
well
aware
of
this,
and
particularly
since
they
have
a
an
operation.
Now
in
Philadelphia,
one
unique
characteristic
of
Pennsylvania
liquor
law
is
the
Amplified
sound
and
just
want
to
make
sure
that.
D
You
know
get
caught
up
in
in
some
of
that
and
I
think
there's
a
great
opportunity
for
them
over
there
too,
because
one
of
the
businesses
that
has
a
lot
of
the
games
and
and
they
serve
alcohol,
they
allow
to
go
food
in,
and
so
them.
E
C
A
The
so
I
I
did
a
quick,
Google
search
on
the
address.
It's
the
property
between
south
side
work
Cinema.
What
was
the
cinema
and
clauda
and
I?
Think
that's
where
H
M
used
to
be
I,
think
at
one
point
in
time,
but
it
is
right
on
Cinema
drive
there,
it's
a
great
location.
It
really
is
and
there's
lots
of
activity
and
activation
in
the
Town
Square.
Now
with
the
different,
not
food,
trucks
per
se.
What
what
am
I
trying
to
say
they're,
not
food
trucks.
A
They
are
outdoor
vendors,
I,
guess
that
are
in
the
in
the
Square.
Now
it's
so
it's
a
it's
a
really
great!
It's
a
really
great
space
to
inhabit
there
generally
I
would
go
through
the
requirements
to
speak
at
the
public
hearing.
We
have
no
registered
speakers
for
this
public
hearing
and
we
have
no
one
in
the
audience
that
wishes
to
make
comments.
