And
whereas
the
Pittsburgh
area,
chapter
161
of
nawic,
was
first
chartered
on
March
29
1969
with
33
founding
members
and
now
includes
women
who
are
actively
employed
in
all
aspects
of
the
construction
industry,
such
as
business
owners
managers,
Consultants
tradeswomen
operators,
Architects
accountants
and
attorneys.
And
whereas,
during
the
week
of
March
fifth
2023
nawic
chapters
throughout
the
United,
States
and
Canada
will
be
holding
special
events
to
celebrate
the
annual
women
in
construction
week.
B
I
Thank
you.
This
is
the
25th
Annual
WIC
week
and
we
are
so
very
excited
to
be
here
to
represent
the
Pittsburgh
chapter
161..
It's
the
54th
year
of
the
Pittsburgh
chapter.
In
the
past
year,
we've
made
great
strides:
we've
exceeded,
1
million
women
employed
in
the
construction
industry,
and
we
now
comprise
14
of
the
construction
industry.
However,
there
is
more
work
to
be
done
and
we
are
launching
camp
nawick
this
summer,
which
is
a
an
outreach
program
for
girls
in
8th
through
12th
grade
to
let
them
learn
about
construction
careers.
J
Hi,
my
name
is
Sherry
Thomas
I
am
the
founder
owner
and
president
of
SB
Thomas
and
Associates
we're
a
construction
management
company
located
here
in
the
Pittsburgh
area.
We
are
a
certified
woman-owned,
disadvantaged
business
and
we're
very
proud
to
serve
a
lot
of
the
government
agencies,
including
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
and
Allegheny.
County
I
am
a
board
member
along
with
Natasha
who
is
who
is
our
president
of
natwick.
The
Pittsburgh
chapter
we'd
like
to
thank
you
today
for
recognizing
us
and
the
strides
we
women
have
made
in
construction
over
the
last
years.
Thank
you.
K
Thank
you,
councilwoman
Warwick,
for
Pinch
hitting
for
me.
There
I
appreciate
it.
I'm
always
excited
to
present
this
Proclamation
and
I
want
to
acknowledge
that
this
city
council,
as
well
as
our
authorities,
have
really
done
work
to
make
this
a
Contracting
to
minority
and
women.
Don't
businesses
bigger
a
bigger
part
of
the
expenditures
that
we
do
a
bigger
part
of
the
construction
that
we
do
and
we
really
value
your
work
in
expanding
the
industry
in
Pittsburgh,
appreciate
your
work.
Thank
you.

B
And
they
we
had,
they
had
to
find
us
because
councilman
O'connor
became
controller
O'connor,
but
he
came
back
for
this
one,
whereas
the
annual
Pittsburgh
St
Patrick's,
Day
Parade
will
be
held
on
Saturday
March,
11
2023,
beginning
at
10
A.M
at
the
Greyhound
bus
station
and
ending
at
Commonwealth
place
and
whereas
first
held
in
1869,
the
St
Patrick's
Day
Parade
has
been
occurring
non-stop.
Almost
did
you
do
through
covet.
D
B
B
For
the
day
it
has
become
the
oldest
and
largest
parade
in
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
and
the
second
largest
St
Patrick's
Day
Parade
in
the
United
States,
and
whereas
the
Magnificent
St,
Patrick's,
Day
Parade,
celebrates
Pittsburgh,
Irish,
Pittsburgh's
Irish
heritage
and
will
present
marching
units,
including
bands,
specialty
acts,
floats
local
Irish
officials,
police,
fire,
emergency
service
agencies,
military
bans
and
a
host
of
Irish
heritage
groups,
including
Pittsburgh
city
council,
and
whereas
this
Year's
parade
sponsors,
I'm
gonna.
Let
you
read
the
sponsors
anybody's
name
up.
F
A
B
B
B
B
Now,
let
you
say
all
their
names
now,
therefore
be
it
resolved
that
the
Council
of
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
does
hereby
commend
all
the
organizers
and
participants
of
the
annual
St
Patrick's
Day
parade
and
welcome
all
Pittsburgh
residents
to
join
in
the
festivities
and
be
it
further
resolved
that
the
Council
of
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
is
hereby
declare
March
5th
to
through
to
the
12th
2023
to
be
St.
Patrick's
Day
Parade
week
in
the
city
of
Pittsburgh,
okay,
I
have
a
motion
to
approve
in
a
second
all
in
favor.
A
M
Oh
super
you're,
good
I,
just
wanted
to
thank
council
president
and
Anthony
for
doing
this
when
I
left.
You
know
everybody
was
worried
about
who
was
going
to
do
this,
but
council
president
made
sure
she
said.
I
have
to
do
that,
because
this
is
a
special
day,
not
just
first
name
everybody
who
celebrates
St
Patrick's
Day,
but
for
the
whole
city
I
mean
we
get
hundreds
of
thousands
of
people
out
there
and
I
will
say:
council
president
has
walked
in
it
every
single
year.
M
So
to
her
credit,
we
know
that
everybody
on
Council
is
welcome
to
walk
with
our
group
as
they
did
before
so
I
just
wanted
to
thank
you
for
continuing
to
do
this.
It
means
a
lot
to
everybody
that
runs
the
parade
to
get
to
come
down
to
Pittsburgh
city
council
every
year
and
Anthony's,
claiming
that
he's
Scottish
now,
which
is
different.
Scottish,
is
not
the
same
as
liking
Scotch
by
the
way,
but
I
just
want
to
pass
it
off
to
Mack.
Who
was
the
MC
for
our
great
breakfast
this
weekend?
D
D
N
Well,
of
course,
it's
a
great
honor
to
be
here,
never
expected
it.
I
was
flabbergasted
to
be
invited
and
I
just
they'll.
Be
brief.
Although
I
have
a
stack
of
papers
here,
my
favorite
quote
in
the
Bible
in
the
Bible
is
the
stone
which
the
Builder
is
rejected
has
become
the
Cornerstone
by
the
hand
of
God.
N
Has
this
been
done
and
it
is
beautiful
in
our
eyes
as
appropriate
this
year,
because
the
Grand
Marshal
isn't
nearly
as
important
as
everybody
23
000
people
following
us
and
right
behind
me
as
this
year
for
the
very
first
time,
maybe
the
first
time
in
America
will
be
some
we're:
a
wonderful
wonderful
young
people,
employees
paid
employees
of
brother
Andre's
Cafe
at
Epiphany
Church,
the
very
first
coffee
shop
of
his
time
of
its
kind
in
the
country
where
the
these
young,
beautiful
young
people,
talented
with
idd
intellectual
and
development
disabilities,
will
be
right
behind
me,
marching
with
150
000
people
cheering.
N
They
are
so
excited
the
first.
The
Subaru
donated
a
couple
of
vehicles.
I'm
always
trolley
donated
one
of
their
buses.
You
know,
and
thanks
especially
to
Mack
Mr
O'brien
and
Sean
McConnell,
for
making
this
happen,
because
without
them
it
wouldn't
happen,
they
organized
the
parade.
So
that's
that's
really
a
wonderful
thing,
and
the
irony
also
is
this
year
and
I
believe
in
Providence.
Is
that,
as
you
know,
the
parade
ends
at
The,
Red
Door
downtown
that
feeds
the
homeless
right
right.
N
There
they
opened
in
1929,
still
run
by
father,
Chris,
Donnelly
and
father
Joe
Freddy,
under
move
them
out
in
missions
of
which
I'm
a
board
member
at
epiphany.
But
the
great
irony
and
the
I
think
was
meant
to
happen-
is
been
working
on
the
musical
for
the
past
three
years.
It
opens
on
Parade
day
it's
called
Shantytown
the
Bella,
the
Father
James
Cox,
who
fed
the
homeless
in
1929..
He
was
an
amazing
Pittsburgh,
an
amazing
American.
He
fed
three
million
meals
to
almost
to
tens
of
thousands
of
people.
He
invented
food
stamps.
N
He
marched
on
Washington
got
in
Hoover's
face.
He
stood
up
for
everybody.
You
know
he
was
in.
The
name
of
his
story
has
a
bit
that
we're
telling
it
with
18
new
songs.
I've
worked
with
Dwayne
Fulton,
who
is
the
artistic
music
director
of
Mount
Ararat
Baptist
Church,
we're
opening
this
Saturday
at
a
new
art
center
in
the
Hill
district.
It's
a
gym
the
Madison
school
and
try
to
make
one
of
the
Productions.
We
have
four
black
and
four
white
actors
who
are
incredible.
N
You
know
this
is
one
of
the
best
theater
towns
in
America,
with
two
of
the
top
five
schools,
Point
Park
University
around
the
corner
in
Carnegie,
Mellon
University.
So
please
come
and
see
it,
but
special
invitation
to
you
this
coming
Friday
is
a
preview,
a
Mark,
Clayton
suthers.
This
is
his
dream:
he's
one
of
Pittsburgh's
Treasures
in
the
artistic
world
what
he
is
doing
so
at
the
Madison
School,
this
Friday
a
preview,
a
benefit
for
the
homeless,
inviting
everybody
in
his
neighbor.
N
This
new
neighborhood
right
off
on
Milwaukee
Street
to
come
at
eight
o'clock
and
people
can
make
a
donation.
The
other
thing
that's
happening
is
I
have
more
than
a
dozen
and
more
striptistic
Merchants
donating
something
for
for
the
for
the
homeless,
for
The
Red
Door.
After
every
performance,
we're
going
to
donate,
have
have
an
auction
and
raise
money
in
pit
Ohio
Trucking
is
going
to
match
whatever
we
we
raise.
So
this
is
all
about
the
homeless.
N
You
know
so
you
know
the
stone
which
the
builders
rejected
has
become
the
Cornerstone
and,
as
you
know,
the
Hill
district
is
now
a
Cornerstone
in
this
city
as
well.
So
I
just
want
to
thank
you
for
your
participation,
I'm
selling
tickets,
now
I'm
going
to
give
you
each
one
of
these
cards
that
Mark
put
up
I
want
to
thank
you
for
this
great
opportunity
and
for
everybody
here
to
be
with
all
these
people,
and
all
of
you
thanks
for
all
the
good
work
that
you
do
to
help
us
in
the
city.
D
Okay,
it's
really
a
fascinating
guy.
We
find
a
gem
with
him
next
I'd
like
to
introduce
Peggy
Cooney.
She
is
the
chairperson
of
the
Miss,
smiling
Irish
eyes
committee
for
the
parade
they
select
the
queen
in
her
court
for
the
parade
Peggy
Cooney.
O
Thanks
Mack
I
really
want
to
thank
city,
councilwoman
Theresa,
Smith
Teresa
actually
is
an
old
neighbor
of
our
families.
Our
two
families
were
neighbors
out
in
Oakland,
attended
the
same
church,
Saint
Agnes's,
so
Theresa
and
her
family
are
old-time
friends,
also
Mr
Cog,
Hill
I
heard
somebody
say
he
knows
everybody,
but
he
does
know
everybody
he's
also
a
friend
of
the
families
going
back,
probably
two
decades
now
and
of
course,
it's
always
wonderful
to
see
our
Corey
and
I
was
so
glad
that
he
came
in
today
to
be
here
with
us.
O
I
want
to
at
this
point,
introduce
Miss,
smiling
Irish
eyes
in
her
court.
That
is
always
a
very
integral
part
of
the
parade
at
the
parade.
You
will
see.
Miss
smiling,
Irish
eyes
will
be
in
a
beautiful
Carriage.
It's
like
a
Cinderella
type
carriage
and
I
do
want
to
thank
Kevin
Schmidt
and
the
teamsters
249
that
financially
support
that
carriage
for
the
girls
every
year.
At
this
point,
I'd
like
to
introduce
the
court
Emily
Aiken.
O
Emily
is
a
graduate
of
Shaler
high
school
she's.
Currently,
a
junior
at
the
University
of
Pittsburgh,
her
parents
are
Raymond
and
Carrie
rich
and
Carrie.
Thank
you
also
I'd
like
to
introduce
Aubrey
shevlin.
O
Aubrey,
pardon
me
Aubry
is
from
Braintree
in
Pittsburgh
in
Pittsburgh
area,
she's
right
outside
over
the
Border.
She
lives
near
me.
She
is
a
senior
at
Oakland
Catholic.
She
will
be
making
her
mind
up,
to
which
university
she'll
be
going
to
in
the
fall
and
she's
been
accepted
it
several.
So
it's
just
a
matter
of
her
making
her
mind
up,
which
one
she's
going
to
Aubry
is
the
daughter
of
Johnny
shevlin
in
the
lake
Pamela
sheffland
and
Miss
smiling
Irish
eyes
this
year,
I
think
you'll.
O
O
She
also
is
in
the
process
of
making
her
mind
up,
which
universally
she'll
be
attending
in
the
fall
both
of
these
girls
that
haven't
made
their
minds
up,
have
gpas
of
something
I
never
heard
of
like
4.8
or
something
so
it's
just
a
matter
of
them
making
their
minds
up.
So
that's
our
royalty.
Now,
oh
and
Ray,
our
royalty
for
the
parade
so
come
down
and
see
us
on
Saturday.
Thank
you.
Do
they.
P
I
would
like
to
first
thank
the
city
council
for
hosting
us
today,
and
I
am
honored
and
humbled
to
represent
the
misspelling
Irish
eyes
committee
as
the
2023
Miss
smelling
Irish
eyes.
I
wish
to
thank
the
St
Patrick's
Day
Parade
committee
for
the
great
work
they
put
into
organizing
this
annual
tribute
to
St
Patrick.
P
The
patron
saint
of
Ireland
I'm,
incredibly
excited
about
the
activities
throughout
the
rest
of
this
week
and
to
reconnect
and
meet
new
members
of
the
Irish
in
Greater
Pittsburgh
Community
I
am
grateful
for
my
family
and
friends
for
sharing
my
Irish
heritage
through
activities
with
my
father's
Hibernian
family
and
attending
the
St
Patrick's
Day
Parade
over
the
years.
I
hope
to
always
live
up
to
the
Ancient
Order
of
Hibernian
motto
of
friendship,
unity
and
Christian
charity.
P
Additionally,
I
am
appreciative
of
the
support
and
friendship
of
the
2023
Miss
smelling
Irish
Court,
maidens,
Emily,
Aiken
and
Auburn
shevlin.
Some
may
say
it's
a
great
day
for
the
Irish
and,
of
course
it
is,
but
is
also
a
great
and
beautiful
day
for
the
City
of
Pittsburgh
by
bringing
the
communities
of
our
city
together.
To
celebrate
this
momentous
holiday,
thank
you
very
much.
D
We're
hoping
for
a
great
day
for
the
Irish
last
year,
not
so
great.
The
weather
man
is
not
on
our
side.
We
brought
up
the
the
subject
of
the
AOH
I'm
going
to
introduce
Denny
Maher.
He
is
the
president
of
the
Allegheny
County
Ancient
Order
of
Hibernians
and
he'll
introduce
our
bernian
of
the
year.
Q
Thank
you
mack.
Every
year
the
Allegheny
County
Board
of
the
Ancient
Order
of
fibernians
votes
on
who
has
exemplified
themselves
to
represent
the
AOH
in
the
parade.
As
our
high
burning
of
the
year
and
this
year,
we
were
proud
to
announce
that
Tim
Regan
has
been
named.
The
AOH
Hibernian
of
the
year
Timmy's
family
Roots
hail
back
to
Ireland,
but
Timmy's
local
work
is
what
we
were
focusing
on
to
what
exemplified
him
and
put
him
above
the
other
candidates
in
the
list.
Q
His
service
to
the
community,
to
the
order
to
the
area
is
unprecedented
by
our
our
means.
Today,
his
service
to
the
communities
when
the
conflict
between
Ukraine
and
Russia
came
up.
Timmy
was
the
conduit
between
our
local
AOH
group
and
the
Ukrainian
Church,
and
did
wonders
to
help
raise
money
in
clothing
for
the
church.
Tim
exemplifies
everything,
that's
good
about
the
AOH
for
friendship,
unity
and
Christian
charity.
So
it
is
my
pleasure
to
introduce
Tim
Regan
is
the
2023
AOH
Library.
R
Thank
you.
Everyone,
it's
an
honor
to
be
here
to
be
recognized
by
groupier
peers
for
the
same
work
that
we
all
do
is
is
truly
an
honor
and,
as
Mary
Gray
said
and
Dennis
said
that
friendship
Beauty
needing
Christian
charity
is
what
we're
all
about.
We've
raised,
hundreds
of
thousands
of
dollars
and
donated
thousands
of
man-hours
to
lie
to
life
mission,
The
Red
Door
among
other
charitable
organizations
in
the
city
I,
would
love
to
thank
city
council
for
taking
time
out
of
their
busy
schedules
to
honor
outstoring
Irish
American
heritage

D
We've
made
the
city
council
meeting
a
little
bit
longer
today
again,
I
want
to
thank
you
through
a
cooperation
with
one
of
our
members.
If
you
look
to
the
sky
on
Parade
day,
buildings
in
downtown
Pittsburgh
will
be
lighted
green
and
on
St
Patrick's
Day,
so
which
I
thought
was
a
great
thing.
We've
been
trying
to
do
that
for
a
long
time.
Thank
you
again
for
welcoming
us
here
and
hope
to
see
you
at
the
parade.
B
F
You
thank
you.
Thank
you
tip.
Congratulations,
ladies.
Congratulations
yeah.
What
an
honor
so
I
just
want
to
say
if
you've
never
been
to
the
St
Patrick's
Day
Parade,
you've
got
to
make
it
part
of
your
bucket
list.
I.
Remember
my
first
one
about
15
years
ago,
I
was
working
for
then
state
senator
Wayne
Fontana.
He
called
me
and
said
how's
it
going
I
said
well,
there's
about
40
people
in
trees,
and
you
know,
there's
a
million
kids
and
you
know
everybody's
having
a
good
time
and
I,
don't
think.
F
There's
any
other
Heritage
like
the
Irish
who
celebrates
their
Heritage,
maybe
to
Lebanese.
So
so
so
no
I
just
wanted
to
thank
you.
I
will
be
there
Saturday
to
help
celebrate
I
started
with
Carmella
celebrating
Last
Friday
Night
at
the
button
party.
F
You
know
I'll
continue
through
the
weekend
and
I'll
probably
need
a
couple
weeks
off.
So
thanks
and
congratulations.
F
B
Thank
you
and
we're
going
to
take
a
photo
to
all
members
want
to
join
us
for
the
photo
and
I
would
just
say
that
Peggy
also
currently,
even
though
she's
close
to
Greentree
lives
in
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
in
Westwood,
the
same
neighborhood
I
live
in,
so
we
moved
from
Oakland
to
Westwood
together
and
we
have
lots
of
people
from
District
2
here.
So
thank
you.
B
O
B
B
A
B
T
B
S
And
whereas
there
is
no
existing
legal
requirement
for
transport
companies
to
notify.
Government
officials
that
had
trained
with
hazardous
materials
will
travel
through
the
state
and
whereas
as
many
as
160
76
000
pittsburghers
live
within
the
potential
blast
zone
of
a
similar
derailment
in
the
city,
whereas
Pittsburgh
meets
the
definition
of
a
fossil
fuel,
sacrifice,
Zone
an
area
where
residents
are
subjected
to
heightened
levels
of
pollution
and
hazardous
material,
despite
adverse
impacts
on
their
health
and
whereas
there
have
been
77
Hazmat
train
accidents
in
Allegheny.
S
Now,
therefore,
be
it
resolved
that
the
Council
of
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
stands
in
solidarity.
Solidarity
with
our
affected
neighbors
neighboring
communities
and
be
it
further
resolved
that
the
Council
of
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
will
request
information
through
the
fast
act.
To
help
us
better
understand
the
state
of
our
rail
infrastructure
here
in
Southwest
Pennsylvania
and
work
collectively
to
focus
Investments
and
response
plans
in
areas
that
pose
the
greatest
risk
to
our
residents.
Be
it
further
resolved
that
the
Council
of
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
hereby
issues.
S
S
It
just
means
that,
if
something
like
that
were
to
happen
in
Pittsburgh,
it
would
have
affected
more
people,
but
we
stand
in
solidarity
with
small
towns
throughout
Pennsylvania,
where
Rail
lines
pass
through,
because
it's
just
as
much
of
a
travesty
in
East,
Palestine
or
a
small
town
as
it
would
be
in
Pittsburgh
just
kind
of
a
greater
scale
here
in
Pittsburgh
and
second
to
note
that
we
have
very
very
limited
jurisdiction
over
our
rail
companies.
S
That
is
a
federal
level
responsibility
and
our
local
Federal
Representatives
have
been
very
responsive
when
it
comes
to
getting
bipartisan
support
for
this
type
of
legislation.
That
would
create
greater
safety
regulations
and
mandates
that
we
know
are
necessary
over
our
rail
companies.
We
see
that
Norfolk
Southern
already
is
responding
to
public
pressure,
they're
paying
for
the
temporary
relocation
of
residents,
which
is
controversial.
But
you
know
people
are
asking
for
that.
They
are
already
they've
committed
to
additional
safety
measures
which
they
should
have
had
in
place
prior
to
this
this
accident.
S
But
we
know
that
public
pressure
like
this
can
can
only
help
and
also
just
lastly
say
that
later
today
we
understand
that
the
mayor,
along
with
Mayors
from
boroughs
and
townships
and
municipalities
from
all
over
southwestern
Pennsylvania,
will
also
be
releasing
a
statement.
So
it
coincides
with
that
as
well.
G
I
I
just
wanted
to
thank
councilwoman
strasberger
for
for
pulling
this
together
and
writing
up.
This
will
of
council
I
I
know
so
we
all
kind
of
have
I
I.
G
Had
a
few
constituents
call
with
you
know,
sort
of
wondering
what
we
were
going
to
do
or
say
et
cetera
with
regards
to
to
this
accident
and
councilwoman
Strasburg
was
the
first
person
I
came
to
and
she
you
know
had
this
in
the
works,
and
so
it's
really
nice
to
you
know
we
all
kind
of
have
our
Specialties,
the
things
that
we
focus
on,
and
it's
really
nice
to
have
on
sort
of
the
environmentalism
angle,
just
to
know
that
we
can
come
to
you
and
you-
and
you
have
your
you
know,
eyes
and
ears
on
it.
K
B
U
I
apologize,
I
I
had
to
get
off
the
phone
call.
I
didn't
want
the
moment
to
pass
without
saying
just
how
important
this
role
of
council
is.
I,
I
I'm
sure
we
have
all
received
phone
calls.
I'm
no
different
I've
received
a
number
of
phone
calls.
Being
you
know
the
cell
say
Flats,
especially
South
Shore
Celsius
works.
U
All
that
is
is
on
the
riverfront
railroad
property
and
I
personally
am
wrestling
with
how
to
appropriately
respond
to
the
constituent
concerns
that
I'm
getting
about
how
to
how
to
best
deal
with
it.
U
You
know
my
thoughts,
you
know,
and
we
heard
this
a
little
bit
earlier
about
you
know,
of
the
purview
of
rails,
really
under
federal
government
and
the
best
I
seem
to
be
able
to
do
at
a
local
level
is
to
reach
out
to
responders
as
to
how
we
might
respond
to
a
derailment
which
I
had
just
a
few
years
back.
If
you
all
remember,
it
was
not.
The
materials
were
not
hazardous,
but
there
was
a
derailment
right
by
the
Port
Authority
rail
station
right
by
SouthSide
Works.
U
So
perhaps
this
might
be
behoove
us
that
to
maybe
have
discussion
about
how
to
reach
out
to
our
new
congressperson
summer
league
and
find
some
level
of
understanding
from
a
federal
point
of
view
of
what
we
might
expect
in
preventative
measures
to
God.
U
You
know
willing
prevent
anything
like
what
has
happened
in
Palestine
Ohio
from
happening
here
as
well
as
then,
what
we
might
do
on
a
local
level
if
we
God
forbid
we're
forced
to
react
to
an
emergency,
but
I've
always
been
to
the
school
of
thought
that
we
need
to
be
pretty
active
and
proactive
and
understand
how
to
prevent,
as
opposed
to
solely
understanding
how
we
might
respond.
U
So
I'd
love
to
open
up
a
conversation
with
fellow
colleagues
about
how
we
might
bring
congressperson
summerly
into
a
a
broader
conversation
about
the
federal
responsibility.
That's
the
right
word
to
you
know
to
understand
how
we
might
be
proactive
and
preventative
from
God
forbid
ever
seeing
something
like
that
happening
here.
U
B
You
and
just
to
bring
up
a
point
is
a
long
time
ago
before
you
were
here:
councilman
Wilson
councilwoman,
then
councilwoman
Darlene
Harris
brought
up
this
situation
and
this
and
tried
to
stay.
Let's
do
something
and
be
preventive
before
something
happens,
not
reactionary
when
something
happens,
but
you
know
we
failed
to
heed
that
warning.
I
guess
so
now,
we'll
move
on
to
is
there
anything
else
for
members
now
we'll
move
on
to
Dr,
Ronald,
Lynn,
Miller
or
I'm?
Sorry,
public
comment
and
we'll
start
with
Dr
Ronald
Lynn,
Miller,

from
a

that
has

as

We

We
have
multiple
issues
here,
including
there's
no

there's
no

We
are
asking
for
a
public

that's
transparent,
we
are
limiting.
We
are
asking
for

on

We
are
also
asking
for

for
a

and,
to

this

The

is
said
that
all
offenses
are
acts
of
hostilities
by
one
or
either
of
our

our

or
your
people
that
they
be
mutually
forgiven
and
buried
in
the

never

I
mean
we're
supposed
to
forget
that
that
behavior
was
a
part
of
us,
not
forget
the
behavior.
That
happened
just
forget
that
it
was
a
part
of
us,
because
we
have
a
ability
to
do
different
than
what
our
ancestors
did
and
you
have
the
opportunity.
Z

have
a

Let's
be
clear,
these
are
your

that
we
celebrated
today
right,
so
it
doesn't
stop
with
the
celebration
of
one
and
in
there
when
there's
still
work
to
be
done
to
restore
and
repair
the

Z
And
this
is
a
great
opportunity
for
city

to
do
these
things
that
we
have
brought
forth
multiple
times
in
multiple

and
in

of
Pittsburgh.
With
regards
to
food
security
and
food
sustainability
and
I'm
well
qualified
in
all
of
those
aspects
to
speak
for
the
land
and
how
we
see
the
future
of
food.
B
AA
AA
Who
told
me
this
when
I
was
10
years
old,
because
I
was
in
their
custody
and
we
interfere
we're
trying
to
stop
the
human
trafficking
Wing
I'm
in
the
Pittsburgh
area
alone,
isolated
heart,
I'm
I,
exist
in
a
very
intense
human
trafficking
Network
in
Pittsburgh
that
exploits
me
for
labor
I
have
a
PhD
I
have
part
of
the
national
energy
lab
I
worked
at
the
University
of
Pittsburgh.
I
did
all
these
things
yet.
AA
AA
I
was
raped
for
three
kids
and
they
were
poisoned
to
be
mentally
ill
children
and
they
were
posted
online
to
Ransom
and
terrorize.
My
Jewish
Family
in
Europe-
and
this
was
done
in
Pittsburgh
I,
haven't
seen
them
in
four
years
and
they
were
born
at
McGee,
Women's,
Hospital,
three
children
and
they
were
poisoned.
While
we
were
held
captive
in
Swissvale
and
green
Greenfield
next
to
Squirrel,
Hill
and
yeah.
And
that's
my
that's
my
best
work
story.
AA
AA
L
My
name
is
Yvonne
F
Brown
I
live
at
715,
Mercer
Street,
that's
Katie
Rivers
tires
up
in
the
Hill
district
top
of
Bedford
I'm
going
over
for
the
office
from
from
the
office
of
the
city
clerk
for
tomorrow.
That's
Wednesday
I
see
they
have
at
9
30
a.m.
Pre-Agenda
interview
9
30..
They
can't
make
it
here
at.
B
L
But
they
will
make
it
here
at
9,
30
and
they'll
keep
talking
past
10,
you
do
it
all
the
time
and
it
shouldn't
be.
There's
three
different
things:
they're
going
to
talk
about.
That's
to
oh
that's
tomorrow,
I
want
to
do
something
first,
before
I
get
I
might
forget.
I
want
you
to
know
that
the
90.5
wesa
radio
station
is
having
the
fundraising,
and
today
is
the
last
day,
they're
cutting
it
in
half.
Usually
it's
longer
and
you
have
to
call
before
seven
o'clock.
P.M
I
have
the
number
here
you
can
win.
L
Compute
I
think
it's
a
computer
might
be
a
laptop
I'm,
not
sure
anyway.
I
will
be
sending
some
money
in
to
see
if
I
could
win.
I
already
did
this
before
and
the
reason
why
I
want
you
to
understand
why
I'm
doing
this,
because
I
believe
that
radio
station
gives
clear
explanations
and
you
help
us
to
comply
with
the
laws
we
the
people.
Thank
you.
You
understand
sometimes
they'll
explain
what
would
happen
the
laws,
but
we
don't
know
here
because
you
just
change
your
laws.
Every
every
week
has
changed.
L
Another
thing
I
wanted
to
be
I
want
to
make
sure
that
you
understand
is
that
sometimes
I
come
down
there.
I'm
very
angry
now
miss
gross
saw
me
as
she
was
coming
in
and
she
looked
at
me.
You
want
to
holler
at
me.
It's
not
about
me
hollering
at
her.
She
should
holler
at
herself
for
the
things
that
she
she's
supposed
to
be
so
educated.
That's
what
I'm
talking
about
I!
Don't
have
all
that
eight
years
to
call
he
said.
I
was
a
senior
in
college,
but
my
son
was
killed.
L
All
that
education
and
I
try
to
make
sure
that
I
speak
to
all
of
you.
All
of
you,
I
feel
need
to
go
back
to
school.
They
need
to
have.
When
you
become
a
concert
person,
you
should
have
to
go
through
training.
Can
you
can
you
take
and
discriminate
for
them
for
you
to
learn?
But
another
thing
I
want
to
say
is
that
I'm,
looking
at
a
corner,
I
told
her
Connor
before
last
week,
I
went
to
his
office,
he
wasn't
in
his
10
something
I
said.
L
Oh,
he
got
to
learn
from
city
council
that
he
can
come
anytime.
He
wants
now.
He
comes
in
today.
Just
let
him
go
all
up
there
in
the
front.
This
is
supposed
to
be.
This
is
supposed
to
be
more
more
more
of
a
City
process,
see
I'm
I'm
kind
of
mixed
up,
I'm
confused,
because
I
feel
that
it's
just
don't
start
at
10.
We
should
the
people
and
you
just
call
and
tell
them
we
can
speak
until
they
start.
Yes,.
B
B
G
B
S
B
T
B
Thank
you
we'll
move
that
on
and
we'll
now
move
on
to
the
unfinished
business.
Is
there
any
unfinished
further
unfinished
business
before
City
Council,
seeing
that
the
next
door
to
businesses
reports
the
committee
for
final
action,
we'll
begin
with
councilman
R
Daniel
Lavelle
committee
on
finance
and
law.
D
B
K
Thank
you,
Council
Madam,
president
I,
just
for
the
record
again
last
week,
voted
no
I,
believe
I,
hope,
I,
voted,
I,
think
I
better.
No.
K
I
voted
no
on
the
Bill
1214
on
the
compressed
natural
gas
fueling
station
mobile
fueling
station
that
we're
asking
people
to
pay
for,
even
though
we're
not
committing
to
CNG
for
fueling
our
waste
haulers
long
term.
K
This
was
supposed
to
just
be
a
kind
of
temporary
Bridge
measure
to
invest
in
these
trucks
in
this
fueling
station
and
I
I.
Don't
support
the
choice
of
choosing
compressed
natural
gas
for
kind
of
a
temporary
Fleet
and
a
temporary
fueling
station,
so
I'll
be
voting
no.
Today.
Thank.
B
You
councilman
anything
else
for
members,
so
I'm
just
going
to
add
that
I
saw
a
report
that
you
and
I
voted
no,
and
it
said
something
about
I
voted
to
know
because
I
wanted
them
to
invest
in
my
district.
What
I
want
them
to
do
is
invest
in
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
businesses
and
one
that
that
happens
to
be
in
my
district,
the
other
happens
being
councilman
Corral's
district
and
there
are
other
places
in
other
facilities,
but
I
chose
to
vote.
B
No,
instead
of
trying
to
be
in,
you
know,
try
to
be
an
obstructionist
in
any
way.
I
tried
to
just
Place
make
sure
my
concerns
were
heard,
and
that
and
I
know
that's
what
councilman
gross
has
done
and
she's
been
consistent
with
that,
especially
when
it
comes
to
environmental
issues,
and
so
I
just
want
to
say.
For
me:
it's
not
about
the
it's,
not
about
the
the
exact
location.
B
So
with
that
said,
I
just
want
to
make
sure
people
get
the
information
accurate
and
that
the
concern
is
really
the
disinvestment
overall
in
our
district,
and
if
this
is
a
way
to
help
support
a
business,
that's
been
supporting
the
city
of
Pittsburgh,
including
Giant
Eagle
is,
is
the
business
that
owns
this
the
gas
station
in
my
district,
maybe
Giant
Eagle
should
consider
their
advertising
in
some
of
these
places
that
are
misreporting
some
of
this
information.
So
with
that.
F
Says
anything
else,
remember
yes,
yeah
I'm!
Sorry
I
was
trying
to
get
clarification
on
this
I'm
hoping
to
get
it
now.
The

is
finally

that
moves
us
on

I
have
a
meeting
a
few
meeting
announcements
this
afternoon
at

Council
will
hold
an
executive
session
on
bills,
1253
and
1224
as
it
relate
as
they
relate
to
litigation
settlements.
Council
standing
committee's
meeting
is
scheduled
for
10
a.m.
Tomorrow,
Wednesday
March
8th
to
register
to
speak
at
this
meeting.
Please
fill
up
the
sign
up.
B
And
speaker
registration
will
close
at
9
A.M
tomorrow
morning
on
Thursday
March
9th
at
1
pm
Council
will
hold
a
pre
or
pre-agenda
interviews
for
the
Pittsburgh
parking
authority,
Pittsburgh
public
or
the
public
art
committee
and
the
Housing
Opportunity
fund,
Advisory
board
and
the
clean
Pittsburgh
commission,
and
so
we
put
him
on
Thursday
because
there's
so
many
we
wanted
to
get
through
them
all
at
one
time.
So
I
hope
that
works
well
for
members.
Is
there
anything
from
Members
councilwoman
Warwick.
G
Yes,
I'd
like
to
motion
to
schedule
a
public
hearing
on
the
spin
scooters
to
go
with
the
post
agenda
on
this.
You
know
to
follow
the
post
agenda.
F
B
F
No
I
I
really
just
wanted
to
take
this
opportunity
to
thank
the
administration
and
the
fop.
That
was
a
Monumental
contract,
the
first
one
in
over
20
years,
and
it's
going
to
really
go
a
long
way
and
I
also
want
to
thank
the
members
who
took
the
time
to
come
to
the
fop
Lodge,
to
look
at
these
numbers
and
to
evaluate
exactly
where
this
Police
Department
is
and
those
who
attended
our
post
agenda,
which
you
know
bringing
both
sides
to
the
table.
F
It's
not
the
end-all,
you
know,
I,
don't
know
if
we'll
ever
be
able
to
match
the
suburbs
and
what
their
salaries
are,
but
it
really
is
going
to
go
a
long
way
as
to
retaining
our
younger
officers
and,
more
so
than
that,
I
believe
the
morale
and
I
was
there
yesterday
as
they
were
voting,
the
fop
was
coming
in
and
voting
and
already
the
morale
has
been
a
hundred
percent
changed.
So
so
you
know
it's
a
step
in
the
right
direction
again.
F
I
want
to
commend
the
administration
and
the
fop
for
sitting
down
and
ironing
this
out
without
it
going
to
arbitration
and
I
think
we're
going
to
notice
a
big
difference,
maybe
not
in
the
re,
the
numbers
on
the
police
for
Force
right
now,
but
certainly
the
morale
and
the
attitudes
of
the
men
and
women
who
protect
us.
So
thank
you.
B
Think
it's
a
combination
of
a
lot
of
things,
but
certainly
I,
think
the
money
certainly
helped
and
I
do
want
to
acknowledge
Lisa
Frank,
because
a
lot
of
people
when
she
came
here
said
what
does
she
know
about?
You
know
negotiating
what
does
she
know
about
these
kinds
of
unions?
Well,
she
obviously
knew
enough
to
get
us
the
first
contract
we
had
without
going
to
arbitration
in
about
20
years,
so
I
do
want
to
say
you
know,
congratulations
to
her
for
the
job
that
she's
done
as
well.
B
Anything
else
remembers
seeing
that
can
we
have
a
motion
to
excuse
any
absent
members.
I,
don't
think
we
haven't
approve
the
medicine
adjourn.
The
meeting.
