B
Thank
you
very
much.
You
may
now
be
seated
next
order
of
business
is
to
amend
the
agenda.
Is
there
such
a
motion
so
moved
all
those
that
favor
signified
by
saying
aye
aye
opposed
his
name.
The
next
word
of
business
is
Proclamation,
I,
believe
councilman
call
kill
for
councilman
Smith.
We
have
one
that
we
presented.
E
Many
of
us
are
familiar
with
the
Gateway
Clipper
Fleet.
If
you
haven't
been
on
it,
I
highly
suggest
it
I
think
you
Market
it
as
the
best
way
to
see
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
and
I
agree
with
that
100.
So
you
know
one
quick
little
story
is
I,
don't
know
if
you
know
this,
but
I
actually
had
a
boat
turned
around,
because
I
accidentally
got
set
sail
with
councilman
O'connor
and
the
cookie
Cruise
yeah,
so
I
think
I
have
the
dubious
distinction
of
having
a
boat
turned
around.
E
I
know
it
doesn't
I,
know
long
chat
and
a
lot
of
deliberation
with
your
captain.
Okay,
but
but
we
got
the
job
done
so
so,
whereas

The

That
Council
the

does
hereby
congratulate
the

on
its

and
thank
them
for
their

to
the

Be
it
further
resolved
that
the
city
council,
the
Council
of
the
city
of
Pittsburgh,
does
hereby
congratulate
the
Gateway

on
its
65th

and
thank
them
for
this.
F
Thank
you,
Council
McCall,
Hall
and
the
rest
of
the
council
for
this
great
honor
I
just
thought.
I'd.
Take
a
second
to
thank
you
for
what
you
do
for
your
our
community
as
well.
I
am
the
chairman
of
the
board.
I
proudly
serve
and
humbly
serve
as
the
chairman
of
the
board
of
the
Birmingham
Foundation,
which
it
does
I
think
we
do
really
good
work
in
your
neighborhood
working
with
early
childhood
development,
primarily
so
it's
one
of
my
great
honors
to
be
part
of
that.
F
One
of
my
great
honors
to
be
here
with
some
of
our
folks
here
at
the
Gateway
Clipper
Fleet
much
is
was
a
pretty
good
outline,
a
very
good
outline
in
the
in
the
proclamation,
but
we
are
very
humbled
and
proud
to
be
able
to
serve
this
community.
We
we've
served
well
over
10
million
passengers,
our
guests
over
the
over
these
years,
and
we've
had
thousands
and
thousands
of
crew
members
that
we've
we
came
through
right
now.
We
have
about
150
right
now,
170,
maybe
at
this
point,
Chris
are
key
people
right
here.
F
F
Do
everything
I
call
her
radar,
Riley
she's,
the
one
that
gets
everybody,
she's
I'll
call
her
human
relations,
and
what's
that
other
word
that
if
payroll
so
forth,
my
daughter
Hannah
Roth
who's,
a
head
of
the
sales
and
my
son,
Christian
virginis
who's
head
of
works
with
Marine
operation,
not
quite
ahead
and
we're
not
offered
yet.
But
these
are
the
two
I
have
seven
children
all
together,
they've
all
been
through
the
business.
F
These
are
the
two
that
I'll
call
a
drank
the
Kool-Aid
and
they're
they're
they're
stuck
to
us
now
so
and
I
think
that
wait.
That's
the
fourth
generation
that
we
coming
on
I
hope
we
serve
to
get
served
millions
and
millions
of
more
passengers.
F
As
you
said,
at
the
beginning,
Pittsburgh
I
can
tell
you
I've
been
at
every
city
in
the
United
States
in
North
America,
with
water
presence
of
water.
In
it,
there
is
no
more
beautiful
city
to
be
seen
from
its
Waters
than
the
city
of
Pittsburgh
is,
and
we're
just
grateful
and
proud
and
humbled
to
be
able
to
be
part
of
the
process
here
in
Pittsburgh
to
be
one
of
the
icons
of
Pittsburgh.
Thank
you
very
much.
E
G
Cross
yeah
thanks
Mr,
chair
I,
just
wanted
to
recognize
that
this
is
the
eighth
year
that
my
aunt
my
office
has
sponsored
the
recovery
walk
here
in
Pittsburgh
and
I.
Don't
know
how
many
tens
of
thousands
of
people
over
the
years
have
come
to
the
event,
and
hopefully
some
have
found
their
their
sobriety
through.
That
I
also
want
to
recognize
UPMC
for
always
having
been
our
primary
presenting
sponsor
each
of
those
eight
years
at
fifty
thousand
dollars,
which
is
no
small
feat.
G
We
could
not
do
the
recovery
walk
if
it
were
not
for
the
consistent
support
of
UPMC
in
the
in
that
process.
So
it's
this
Saturday
September
16th
will
launch
from
our
traditional
location.
Anyone
who
wishes
even
just
to
come
down
and
take
a
look
around
just
to
see
what
it
might
have
to
offer.
Please
come
down.
G
You
will
be
welcome,
but
we
get
several
thousand
people
that
that
come
to
the
walk
and
I'm
grateful
for
the
support
we
have
and
the
the
people
that
hopefully
have
found
their
sobriety
through
the
event
thanks
Mr
chair.
Thank
you.
B
Very
much
probably
moved
in
second
all
in
favor
by
saying
I
suppose
there's
an
a
we
are
now
next
to
our
business.
Is
public
comment
I'd
like
to
remind
everyone
that
rules
of
council
state
the
comments
are
limited
to
matters
of
concern.
Official
action
or
deliberation
which
are
or
may
be
before,
city,
council,
profanity
and
insults
will
not
be
permitted.
When
you
are
called
to
speak,
please
state
your
name
and
neighborhood
for
the
record.
You
will
have
three
minutes.
Our
first
registered
speaker
is
Dr
Ronald,
Lynn
Miller.
D
D
Lpss
Pittsburgh
and
Building
height
is
a
concern
in
Abuja
Nigeria,
the
capital
of
Nigeria,
the
tallest
building
is
just
over
300
feet:
the
tallest
building
in
Kyoto
Nihon,
again
just
over
300
feet.
Lima
Peru
capital
of
Peru,
the
Bunco
building,
is
over
400
between
400
and
500
feet
and
in
ronstein
Deutschland
the
tallest
building
is
275
feet.
A
concern
of
city
council
is
Public
Safety
now
Pittsburgh
is
vulnerable
to
attack
the
biological
safety
lab.
The
super
computer
center
and
the
U.S
cyber
command
make
Pittsburgh
a
prime
target.
Now?
What
do
we
do
about
this?
D
One
of
the
things
that
that
we
can
do
is
to
provide
an
option
for
our
people
in
case
of
an
attack
and
I
advocate
that
this
Council
ordinance
underground
buildings
to
begin
with,
in
the
most
geologically
and
geographically
stable
places,
which
would
begin
with
Mount
Washington
and
Squirrel
Hill.
The
second
thing
is
that
we
can
deter
attack
by
ordinance
to
deconstruct
the
buildings
which
are
anachronisms
and
that
are
dangerous.
One
Oxford,
Center
and
UPMC
Tower
are
among
them
700
feet
tall.
What
if
something
happened?
Like
9
11
happened
here.

Your

My
statement
today
are
to
invoke
my
people's
constitutional,
indigenous
rights
and
I
am
encouraging
city
council
to
pass
my
people's
legislation.
The
legislation
is
intended
to
ensure
the
Protection
security
and
safety
of
our
people
against
discrimination,
Force
assimilation,
Eugenics
and
genocide.
The

the

rights
to

people.
Thank
you
and
I
yield.
I
Between
the
airport
and
downtown
Pittsburgh,
it
was
a
pleasure
today
to
meet
Mr,
Terry,
McGinnis
and
his
Entourage,
because
they
go
into
the
way
back
machine
with
me
personally,
as
a
young
boy,
my
first
job
was
as
a
busboy
at
the
Lamont
as
many
people
from
Duquesne
Heights
kids
needed
a
job
worked
at
the
Lamont
and
one
of
our
regular
customers
was
John
Conley
and
Mr
mcginnis's
mother,
so
I
had
a
good
time
talking
to
them,
and
I
also
spoke
to
them
about
this
rapid
transit
system,
which
he
said
he
supports
now,
there's
a
perfect
example
of
a
businessman
who
we
need
to
reach
out
to
and
talk
about
this
conversation
down
here
in
Grant
Street,
because,
as
I
said
last
week,
we
need
leadership,
that's
the
most
important
thing
and
we
need
the
will
of
the
people
with
these
two
things
we
can
make
it
happen,
but
we
start
down
here
and
we
go
forward
how
much
it
will
cost
I
have
no
idea.
I
I,
don't
think
anybody
else
has
any
idea.
What
are
the
challenges
who's
going
to
pay
for
it?
How
do
we
pay
for
it?
I
really
don't
know,
engineering
issues,
right-of-way
issues-
these
are
all
complicated
problems,
but
I
do
know
from
my
travels,
which
are
extensive.
Is
that
I've
seen
it
work
in
other
places?
We
know
it
works.
The
impact
on
the
economy
will
be
dramatic,
in
my
opinion,
because
of
my
own
personal
experiences.
So
thank
you
for
your
time.
I
B
You
very
much
any
other
speakers,
any
other
speakers.
Thank
you
very
much.
Seeing
none.
We
will
now
move
to
the
presentation
of
papers,
starting
with
my
committee,
chair,
Human,
Resources,
Mr
cogio.
For
me,
no.

communities
against
themselves:
it
really
makes
no
sense.
The
only
way
I
said
he
gets
better
ever
is
all
of
us
working
together
and
all
the
communities
benefiting.

secret
sauce

I've
been
successful
in
any
way
that's
been.
My
secret
is
not
to
create
lose
win
situations,
but
to
create
win-win
where
everybody
benefits
and
I
was
just
thinking
that
that's
part
of
the
reason
I
I
was
I
was
lost
and
thought,
as
we
were
going
through
these
formalities.
