reverend
ricky
purchase.
Pittsburgh
is
becoming
a
city
for
all,
because
black
pittsburgh
matters,
our
city,
has
created
programs
to
assist
women
and
minority
businesses
led
by
the
urban
redevelopment
authority.
The
city
has
launched
two
innovative
programs.
The
first
is
catapult
startup
to
storefront,
a
free
program
which
includes
one-on-one
mentoring
sessions,
education
seminars
and
strategic
partnerships
to
help
startup
businesses
succeed.

new
businesses
get
the
chance
to
locate
within
counterparts
dedicated
retail
incubation
space
on
penn
avenue
in
east
liberty.
The
goal
of
catapult
is
to
ensure
selected
entrepreneurs
have
a
strong
foundation
to
start
and
grow
their
businesses.
What
makes
catapult
unique
is
that
all
the
programming
was
created
for
entrepreneurs
and
is
taught
by
entrepreneurs
become
a
partner
in
the
black
pittsburgh
matters.
