This
theory
that
I
really
was
interested
in
it's
called
the
mean
world
syndrome
or
mean
world
theory,
and
it's
a
theory
that
the
more
television
that
you
watch,
the
more
that
you
may
think
that
the
world
is
a
mean
and
scary
or
a
scary
place.
So
that
really
inspired
me
to
still
stay
in
television
but
perhaps
like
Fred
Rogers
move
into
a
more
educational
part
of
television.
So
that's
what
really
made
me
want
to
work
for
the
city
and
work
for
the
city
channel.
Well,.
A
B
B
B
Have
learned
a
lot
so
far,
I've
been
here
so
only
for
eight
months,
but
I've
learned
that
a
lot
is
going
on
throughout
the
month
that
you
really
have
to
be
paying
attention
to
know
and
see
what
is
being
voted
upon.
And
there
are
things
that
are
happening
in
the
city,
that
you
may
not
know
are
law
or
aren't
a
law.
Yet
I'm.
A
B
Really
surprised
coming,
this
is
my
first
time
working
for
government,
so
I've
definitely
heard
like
well.
What
are
we
paying
these
taxes
for,
like
this
money,
isn't
going
for
anything
for
people
to
sit
and
do
nothing?
It's
that's
not
true
at
all.
We
are
out
in
the
field
we
are
trying
to
get
people
engaged
in
their
community,
get
them
connected
with
to
programs
that
can
help
save
lives
in
many
cases.
So
what
I
have
seen?
Is
people
really
passionate
about
what
they
do
for
a
living
and
trying
to
help
the
communities
of
Pittsburgh?
But
you.
A
B
That's
probably
my
favorite
part
of
my
job
I'm,
maybe
at
my
desk,
editing
for
50
percent
I
think
for
the
other
50
percent
I'm,
either
in
the
studio
during
a
council
meeting
or
I'm
out
in
the
field
following
the
mayor
at
a
press
conference
showing
people
what
the
senior
centers
look
like
after
all,
I
was
once
that
little
kid
who
didn't
really
go
anywhere.
It
didn't
really
have
a
car,
but
the
TV
transported
me
to
that
place
that
I've
never
been
before.
So
that's
definitely,
my
favorite
part
of
my
job
I,
like.
