From YouTube: Clean Pittsburgh Commission Meeting - 5/12/22
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Good
morning,
city
of
pittsburgh
and
the
clean
pittsburgh
commission,
my
name
is
lori
beth
jones,
my
pronouns
are
she
hears
and
I
am
co-chair
of
the
clean
pittsburgh
commission.
I
am
a
resident
of
crafton
heights
on
west
side
district
2
and
we're
happy
to
be
here
with
you
for
a
regular
standing
commission
meeting
on
the
second
thursday
of
the
month,
just
if
we
could
really
quickly
do
some
introductions
up.
First
for
introductions.
Oh
I'd
like
to
select
my
co-chair
christopher
mitchell.
C
D
Hi,
thank
you.
Sarah.
My
name
is
amiye
akwaeli
pronouncer
shiher.
I
live
in
point
breeze
and
I
represent
the
city
of
city's
environmental
services
and
recycling
division.
Oh
yeah,
hi,
aaron,
tobin.
E
Good
morning
everybody
aaron
tobin-
I
am
in
district
1
on
the
north
side
here
in
spring
hill,
and
I
am
a
community
engagement
manager
with
the
pittsburgh
park.
Conservancy
pronoun
she
her.
F
No,
I
haven't
hi
everyone,
I'm
erica
nina,
they
she
her
pronouns.
I
am
the
sustainability
coordinator
in
student
affairs
at
the
university
of
pittsburgh.
A
Thank
you
erica.
As
we
have
other
commission
members
joining,
perhaps
we'll
be
able
to
give
them
the
opportunity
to
introduce
themselves.
We
do
have
a
quorum
for
conducting
business
today
as
needed,
so
we
will
move
forward
with
the
agenda
at
this
time
up.
First,
I
will
go
ahead
and
read
a
section
of
our
mission,
which,
of
course
we
like
to
do
every
month
during
our
meeting
and
today
I
will
just
go
ahead
and
read
the
mission
statement.
A
The
clean
pittsburgh
commission
will
act
as
the
primary
resource
for
addressing
quality
of
life
issues
in
pittsburgh's
communities
through
waste
and
recycling,
education,
community,
cleanups,
beautification
and
ordnance
enforcement.
We
will
coordinate
communication
to
computer
empower
community
organizations
to
maintain
and
improve
neighborhood
environments,
we'll
maintain
strong
communication
with
city
departments
and
officials
for
support
in
addressing
neighborhood
problems.
A
We
will
facilitate
collaboration
between
community
groups,
residents
and
city
government
to
reach
the
most
effective
solutions
to
neighborhood
problems
within
the
commission's
scope,
we'll
coordinate
work
with
local
volunteer
organizations
and
groups
to
support
neighborhood
cleanups.
We
use
funds
to
address
neighborhood
problems
on
a
citywide
basis
and
we
will
work
cooperatively
towards
the
goal
of
zero
waste
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
Thank
you
all
for
being
with
us
this
morning.
A
D
Can
you
I
sent
a
request
to
have
access
to
the
document?
I'm
not
sure
why
I
didn't
have
it
before:
okay,
but
yeah
or
you
could
broadcast
it.
You
know
share
screen,
but
I
did
not
get
a
chance
to
look
and
I
forgot
to
re-up
that
ask
so.
A
A
A
Thank
you,
everyone.
Okay,
at
this
time,
last
month's
meeting
minutes
are
not
available,
so
I
will
move
to
we'll
just
put
those
in
for
approval
in
june
that'll
be
fine.
We've
certainly
approved
more
than
one
month
of
minutes
at
a
time
previously.
So
someone
need
a
second
that
I'm
not
probably.
A
D
Was
I
I
was
next
on
the
list?
I
was
I
just
kind
of
run
away
from
my
desk
for
a
second
yeah.
So
this
is
this
discussion
would
be
on
with
alicia.
She
won't
be
joining
us
with
10
30,
but
I
guess
I
will
get
started.
B
If
you
can
table
it
until
alicia
joins
in
a
couple,
and
then
we
can
move
on
to
the
update,
give
her
a
couple
minutes
to
get
herself.
B
All
right
ballot
bin
update,
we
still
don't
have
the
bins
they
got
held
up
at
customs.
For
a
little
bit.
We
had
to
jump
through
a
lot
of
hoops
and
then
they
apparently
got
left
at
customs
for
a
little
bit
after
we
jumped
through
all
the
hoops,
and
they
said
we
were
good
to
go.
Everyone
forgot
to
deliver
it
afterwards,
so
they
should
hit
me
here
about
this
week,
but
we
have
opened
up
the
registration
for
our
first
round
picks
of
avenues
of
hope
and
for
the
nighttime
economy
districts.
B
B
You
know
expanding
that
before
we
make
our
first
round
of
picks,
we'll
be
with
our
first
development
placement
we'll
be
on
on
city
property,
probably
at
the
city
county
building
we'll
do
a
small
sort
of
press
event
there
announcing
that
these
are
going
to
be
going
out
and
looking
for
partners
first,
starting
with
avenues
of
hope
and
the
nighttime
economy,
districts,
and
then,
after
that,
into
neighborhood
groups
of
associations.
B
So
we're
a
little
behind
scheduled
just
from
not
receiving
them
yet,
but
a
lot
of
things
are
in
place
and
we're
looking
to
move
forward
very
quickly
once
they're,
actually
here.
So
that
is
the
update.
I
can
provide
our
explainer
page
that
links
to
the
application
to
anybody
who
knows
of
businesses
districts
who
want
one
of
these
placed.
B
B
Probably
not
we're
all
on
the
same
page
here
but
yeah
very
excited,
please
let
me
know
if
you
need
any
information
to
share
out
to
communities
who
would
like
a
bit
in
placement.
A
I
I
just
want
to
comment
that
the
mount
washington
cdc
posted
about
the
ballot
bins
in
some
of
their
social
media
this
week
and
actually
got
a
lot
of
positive
responses.
So
I
was
excited
to
see
that
of
my
my
little
district
2
watching
this
week.
So
yay.
A
Afton
welcome
after
we
are
moving
right
along
today
with
our
small
but
mighty
commission
meeting
and
because
we
have
a
scheduled
speaker
to
talk
about
e-waste
recycling
at
10
30.
If
you
wouldn't
mind
to
do
the
finance
committee
update
for
us
now
and
introduce
yourselves
and
say
hello
to
all
the
nice
people.
G
My
name
is
afton
giles.
I
am
the
senior
sustainability
coordinator
for
the
city
of
pittsburgh,
out
of
the
department
of
city
planning,
and
I
am
also
your
co-treasurer
for
the
city
for
the
queen
pittsburgh.
Commission.
Sorry,
I
have
been
ma.
It's
just
been
a
whole
bunch
of
stuff
lately
so
happy
to
be
back.
G
I
wasn't
able
to
talk
to
sarah,
so
I'm
not
sure
if
there's
any
any
big
updates
right
now
we
have
the
budget
standing
at
thirty
thousand
dollars
and
right
now
we
have
approved
by
the
commission
a
number
of
things.
So
we
have
for
the
2022
budget,
the
neighborhood
of
focus
we
have
it
listed
as
esplin,
so
we
have
some
money
put
away
there
for
esplin.
Actually,
let
me
let
me
share
my
screen
that
might
help.
G
There
we
go
so
we
have
our
neighborhood
of
focus.
We
have
some
money
put
away
towards
our
neighborhood
of
focus
for
this
year
and
it
looks
like
all
of
these
were
approved
by
the
city
by
the
commission,
including
being
able
to
possibly
do
a
dumpster
our
ballot,
bins,
which
you
were
just
talking
about.
We
have
that
money.
That's
set
aside
as
well.
We
have
another
5000
set
aside
for
city
surveillance
cameras.
I
did
add
356
for
allegheny
electric.
G
That
is
a
carryover
bill
from
last
year,
actually
where
we
had
to
do
some
repairs
to
the
camera.
So
I
did
add
that
in
because
that's
something
that's
going
to
have
to
come
out
for
this
year
and
we'll
probably
need
an
approval
by
the
commission
to
spend
that
to
spend
those
funds.
I
did
try
to
do
a
p
card
request
to
get
that
to
get
that
money
spent.
However,
because
they're
on
contract
with
the
city,
we
cannot
do
a
key
card.
G
It
has
to
go
through
as
a
purchase
request
through
dpw.
We
just
have
to
let
them
know
that
it's
coming
out
of
the
cpc
budget
garbage
olympics
this
year.
We
have
two
thousand
dollars
set
aside.
We
have
some
money
for
literati
the
literary
license
again
set
aside.
I
know
last
year
the
literati
was
has
actually
increased
their
cost.
G
We
have
five
thousand
dollars
set
aside
for
it
and
I
think
at
some
point
during
during
this
year,
we'll
have
to
reach
back
out
to
literary
to
see
if
there's
going
to
be
an
additional
cost
for
their
service
or,
if
they'll
be
willing
to
hold
it
at
5000
for
us
and
if
they
do
increase
it.
As
a
commission,
we're
going
to
have
to
decide
if
it's
a
service
that
we
want
to
continue
to
use,
we
did
not
allocate
any
money
yet
for
stop
the
violence
vacant
lot
project.
G
However,
that
is
on
the
books
for
something
that
we
want
to
possibly
discuss
at
a
later
date
and
same
thing,
for
I'm
not
sure
what
pgh
pgh
is,
and
I
know
we
have
a
new
e-waste
vendor.
So
I'm
not
sure
what
we're
going
to
do
for
subsidies
this
year,
but
we
have
a
little
over
half
of
our
budget
at
least
allocated,
but
that
does
leave
us
some
funding
left
to
put
towards
projects-
and
that
is
your
finance
report.
B
One
update
I
wanted
to
mention
is
that
we
have
worked
it
out
with
literati
and
it
will
stay
at
five
thousand,
so
that'll
come
out
in
november.
I
believe
is
when
the
next
building
is
awesome.
A
Thank
you.
We
are
just
motoring
here
today,
so
I'll
stall
until
our
special
guest
speaker
comes
to
tell
us
about
e-waste
subsidies.
A
I
know
some
folks
had
some
trouble
getting
here
and
getting
in
I'd
like
to
welcome
myrna.
Thank
you
so
much
sorry
about
that
and
emily
as
well.
We
we
have
alicia
coming
with
mya
to
talk
about
the
new
e-waste
program
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh
at
10
30..
A
So
if
there
are
any
quick
updates,
I
know
we're
working
through
some
invoicing
for
the
esplanade
event
that
we
did
in
march,
if
murder
or
if
anybody
thinks
that
we
need
to
follow
up
on
that,
I
think
those
things
are
are
working
out
fine.
But
if
there's
something
I'm
missing
there.
H
We
just
weren't
sure
who
to
send
that
invoice
to
so
how
do
you
do
that.
G
Too
often
yep,
I
will
take
the
invoice
so
as
long
as
we
can
pay
it
on
pcard.
I
can
do
it
that
way,
otherwise,
something
that
we
might
want
to
consider
mirna,
because
we
do
a
lot
of
projects
with
you.
Guys
is
actually
going
the
route
of
getting
you
guys,
recognized
as
a
vendor
with
the
city,
so
that
we
can
actually
issue
a
check
versus
p
card
for
the
p
card.
We
have
a
max
limit
of
three
thousand
dollars,
and
that
is
total
and
it's
not
something
where
we
should
be
doing.
G
You
know
a
little
money
here
and
a
little
money
there
and
a
little
money
there,
it's
sort
of
like
if
it's
more
than
one
sort
of
one
payment
to
you.
If
it's
going
to
be,
if
we're
going
to
have
more
than
one
payment
to
you
and
it's
going
to
end
up
being
over
three
thousand
dollars,
then
it's
we
really
should
get
you
guys
and
any
of
the
people
partners
that
we
work
with
on
a
regular
basis.
As
as
listed
as
vendors
with
the
city,
it'll
be
a
lot
easier
to
pay.
G
G
Yeah
you
guys
should
be.
I
think
you
guys
should
be
recognized,
that's
funny,
because
that
I
I
did,
I
thought
that
you
guys
had
a
contract
with
the
city
and
when
I
asked
dave
they
said
they
couldn't
find
it.
So
I'm
not
really
sure
I
don't
know,
I
don't
know
we'll
talk
offline,
but
yeah.
If
you
have
a
contract,
you
should
be
recognized
as
a
vendor
with
the
city,
so
I'm
not
sure
where
the
disconnect
is,
but
I
definitely
did.
G
I
thought
you
had
a
contract
because
isn't
that
what
we
did
last
year
to
get
you
guys
as
a
contractor,
you
and
and
the
group
been
in
homewood
operationally.
B
While
we're
waiting,
I
did
want
to
apologize
about
april,
was
not
able
to
get
out
a
a
newsletter
because
of
unforeseen
difficulties
between
one.
My,
my
computer
has
been
having
a
lot
of
troubles
in
them
too.
I
had
it
ran
into
a
couple
of
expected
medical
things
that
took
me
offline
and
my
computer
offline
kind
of
at
the
same
time,
all
through
the
last
half
of
april.
B
A
I
also
wanted
to
check
in
with
everyone
and
make
sure
that
you're
able
to
have
your
your
sofi
the
statement
of
financial
interest
completed
there
by
the
what
was
it
the
end
of
april
or
something
it
was
a
little
bit
hectic
for
non-city
employees
about
to
make
sure
we
had
that
done
in
a
timely
fashion
and
also
see
if
we
have
an
interest
in
having
someone
from
the
ethics
law
and
ethics
department
come
to
our
meeting,
possibly
next
month
or
the
following
month,
to
just
do
our
annual
ethics
training
as
a
commission,
so
that
we
will
meet
that
criteria,
and
that
may
be
something
that
we
want
to
do
like
say
at
11.
A
E
C
Maybe
just
a
quick
update
from
the
department
of
permits
licenses
and
inspections,
we
did
launch
rental
registration
on
may
2nd,
2022,
meaning
that
rental
owners
can
now
apply
for
rental
registration.
Our
expectation
is
that
owners
will
apply
by
december
31st
2022
and
we
will
begin
inspections
after
may
29th
this
month
as
well.
F
I
can
give
a
quick
update
from
the
university
of
pittsburgh,
so,
as
we've
done
for
the
last
four
years,
we're
working
with
oakland
planning
and
development
corporation
to
offer
our
clutter
for
a
cause
program
in
the
oakland
community.
We
just
solidified
our
dates,
it'll
be
july,
29th
and
august.
1St
from
I
want
to
say:
10
am
to
1
pm
location
to
be
decided,
but
it
will
be
in
south
oakland
in
a
spot
where
folks
will
be
able
to
pull
in
and
bring
any
unwanted
items
that
they
want
to
donate
or
recycle.
F
This
is
open
to
community
residents
as
well
as
university
of
pittsburgh,
students
and
faculty
and
staff,
and
so
folks
that
live
in
the
oakland
community
are
welcome
to
take
advantage
of
this
collection.
The
only
items
that
we
cannot
take
are
rugs
foam,
mattress,
toppers
and
upholstered
furniture
that
is
in
really
really
bad
shape.
F
D
Is
this
information
online?
Could
you
would
you
be
able
to
share
a
link
offline,
yeah.
F
We'll
be
putting
it
out
there
only
we
are
working
on
the
web
page
right
now,
okay,
and
actually
that
is
somewhat
related
to
that
email
that
I
sent
you
and
alicia
earlier
this
week.
Oh
yeah,
that's
right!
Okay,.
H
Have
a
lot
of
opportunity
volunteer
opportunities
coming
up
with
dump
site,
cleanups
and
salt
in
the
sultan
scene?
Greenway
we've
been
staging
anyone,
who's
been
working
with
us
in
the
last
few
months.
Danny
has
very
smartly,
been
thinking
that
the
vegetation
is
going
to
be
growing.
We're
not
going
to
be
able
to
see
things
or
access
the
trash
as
easily,
and
so
it's
moving
it
out
of
the
woods
and
staging
it
into
piles,
and
we
have
two
cleanups
this
month
to
start
moving.
H
Some
of
those
piles
out
finish
up
the
gathering
and
then
move
those
piles
up,
may
7th
and
may
15th
in
the
seldom
seen
greenway
and
then
find
you
and
in
the
following
weekend
on
may
14th.
We
have
a
cleanup
in
fine
view
and
one
in
stowe
township,
and
then
we
have
on
our
riverfront
cleanups.
We
have
on
may
21st.
We
have
a
riverfront
cleanup
in
kilbuck
and
on
may
25th
in
aspen
wall.
H
I
know
those
are
out
of
the
city,
but
still
you
might
want
to
be
involved
and
we're
still
giving
out
litter
kits
to
anyone
who
wants
them
and
litter
league
is
going
strong
and
we're
going
to
be
hiring
and
we
are
hiring
right
now.
So,
if
we're
hiring
a
part-time
dump,
buster
crew,
member
10
to
15
hours,
we'll
be
hiring
a
program
manager
and
a
development
director.
So
yeah,
if
you
be
on
the
lookout
for
some
job.
H
A
Thank
you,
myrna.
Do
any
of
our
other
organization.
Partners
have
updates
right
now
for
today's
meeting.
G
I
think
of
an
update-
it's
not
necessarily
specific
to
today's
meeting,
though
okay,
okay,
just
if
we're
just
using
some
time
so
I've
been
working
on
the
usda
community
composting
grant.
So
that's
going
pretty!
Well,
we
just
wrapped
up
with
carnegie
mellon
university.
G
We
were
able
to
team
up
with
their
human
centered
interface
technical
development
team,
and
they
came
up
with
a
really
cool
website
for
us
that
I'm
really
looking
forward
to
deploying
so
we'll
be
working
with
prc
in
order
to
get
some
of
the
database
information.
That's
going
to
feed
into
that
filled
out
over
the
next
couple
of
months,
so
that
we
can
deploy
it
next
year,
so
just
be
on
the
lookout.
G
If
you
are
in
the
business
of
composting
or
waste
management
that
you
might
be
reached
out
to
asking
for
some
information
so
that
when
people
are
looking
for
places
to
take
their
compost,
we
have
accurate
information
on
places
to
take
it
and
that
database
will
be
we're
going
to
try
to
get
all
of
the
businesses
that
are
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh
and
within
about
a
10
mile
radius
outside
of
the
city
of
pittsburgh,
because
we
know
that
we
don't
exist
in
a
vacuum
and
especially
for
the
people
that
are
on
the
border
areas.
G
The
closest
place
to
you
might
be
actually
like
a
wilkinsburg
if
you're
in
homewood,
basically
versus
somewhere
else.
So
that's
coming
through
down
the
pipe
for
us.
I
was
also
we're
also
getting
ready
to
try
to
find
a
new
vendor.
We
were
going
to
have
a
mechanical
composter,
deploy
that
in
homewood
actually,
so
that
we
can
start
composting
some
of
the
food
waste
that
comes
from
the
senior
program
at
the
homewood
senior
center.
G
Unfortunately,
that
ended
up
falling
through,
so
we're
actually
looking
for
a
new
composting
solution
for
the
homewood
senior
center.
We're
still
going
to
try
to
do
a
mechanical
composter,
so
if
you
guys
have
any
ideas,
that'd
be
really
awesome.
I'm
sort
of
open
to
all
things
right
now,
so
that
we
can
try
to
fill
that
void
and
let's
see
we're
also
looking
for
for
interns
for
the
summer.
G
So
if
you
guys
are
recently
graduating
students
or
if
you're
in
college
or
whatever-
and
I
don't
even
think
that
you
have
to
be
in
college,
I
think
the
only
requirement
for
an
intern
is
that
is
that
you
live
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh
and
you're
interested
in
learning
more
about
city
planning.
We
encourage
you
guys
to
go
on
to
this
city
of
pittsburgh's
webpage
and
apply
for
a
planning
internship.
G
These
are
experiential
internships,
so
they
are
unpaid
internships
for
the
summer,
but
you
know
we
unpaid
internships
sometimes
leads
to
other
paid
opportunities,
as
well
as
it's
really
good
network
networking
opportunities
as
well
and
the
other
thing
that
we've
been
working
on
in
the
sustainability
world.
G
G
Making
sure
that
you
have
a
lid
on.
It
is
really
important.
That's
a
really
good
way
to
make
sure
that
we
are
keeping
our
our
wildlife
friends
sort
of
away
from
some
of
our
homes
and
not
attracting
them
to
us
where
they
can
cause
mischief
and
one
of
the
things
that
I
had
an
intern
work.
E
G
This
past
year
with
us,
our
past
semester
was
working
on
a
common,
a
wildlife
guide
and
house.
We
can
sort
of
better
coexist,
so
we're
actually
wrapping
that
up
now
and
we'll
have
that
posted
that
has
some
tips
and
tricks
for
how
to
be
a
better
neighbor
with
our
urban
wildlife
and
that
will
be
cross-listed
with
our
department
of
animal
care
and
control.
So
I
think
that's
it
for,
for
my
sustainability
world.
B
Afton
to
jump
on
what
you
were
just
talking
about,
the
the
urban
wildlife
pre-administration
change.
We
had
been
trying
to
work
with
our
office
here
at
dpw
worked
with
a
humane
society
because
their
their
concerns
were
about
the
the
raccoons
getting
in
and
then
obviously,
people
calling
to
have
reckons
put
down
for
getting
into
their
trash,
and
things
like
that.
So
we
had
worked
on
a
campaign
for
those
bus
stop
ad
spaces
since
that
was
free
and
available
to
us.
B
But
when
the
administration
change
happened,
everybody
in
that
office
sort
of
vacated
and
nobody
knew
what
happened
to
those
requests
for
new
bus
ad
placements.
So
there's
already
some
some
a
campaign
that
was
worked
out
and
ready
to
go
to
to
be
put
in
there,
but
we
just
don't
know
who's
in
charge
of
that
right
now.
B
If
the
mayor's
office
has
the
capacity
to
put
out
those
ads,
but
if,
if
you're,
looking
to
update
information
on
there,
based
on
what
you've
got
in
your
guidebook
and
things
like
that,
it
might
be
a
good
time
to
to
re-up
that
conversation
and
see
where
those
are
at.
That
would.
G
Be
perfect
I'll
reach
out
to
you
after
the
meeting
to
say
so
that
we
can
at
least
make
sure
that
whatever
you
guys
have
on
what
we
have
is,
you
know
is
the
same
sort
of
messaging
and
languaging,
so
I
think
that'd
be
perfect.
Thank
you.
So
much
chris.
A
Good
work,
everybody
I'm
in
it
last
call
for
partner
organization
updates.
A
A
I
Hello,
thank
you
so
much
for
having
me
my
name
is
alicia
carberry.
I
am
the
city
of
pittsburgh's
recycling
supervisor,
out
of
the
bureau
of
environmental
services
within
the
department
of
public
works,
and
I
have
some
really
great
news,
so
I'm
so
pleased
to
announce
that,
after
a
six-month
hiatus,
after
a
competitive
solicitation
process
with
five
respondents
and
much
deliberation,
the
city
has
awarded
a
contract
to
the
pennsylvania
resources
council
to
resume.
Well,
maybe
not
resume
to
run
the
2.0
version
of
the
city's
tv
recycling
program.
I
So
I
wanted
to
touch
on
a
couple
of
different
points
and
then
open
open,
something
up
for
discussion.
You
know
that
I
have,
if
you
know
anything
about
me.
You
know
that
I
have
come
today
before
you
to
ask
something.
I
But
first
I
wanted
to
just
talk
a
little
bit
more
broadly
about
the
program
we've
been
calling
the
first,
the
first
part
of
it,
the
soft
launch.
I'm
gonna
talk
about
what
the
next
step
from
that
is
also
how
this
is
going
to
affect
internal
operations
at
the
city
across
the
entire
department
of
public
works.
I
I
But
first,
let's
talk
about
some
of
the
details.
Amir.
Are
you
able
to
share
your
screen
of
the
pennsylvania
resources
council's
landing
page
right
now,
so
as
as
she's
as
you're
sharing
your
screen?
Let's
start
with
what
this
yeah?
Okay
awesome,
so
we're
in
the
soft
launch.
We
pennsylvania
resources
council
has
started
accepting
appointments
from
people.
We
we
only
opened
the
the
soft
part
up
to
the
people
whose
appointments
were
cancelled
on
there
were
about
170
people
who,
when
the
city's
last
contractor.
I
I
So
anyhow,
that's
what
the
the
soft
launch
has
been
so
you'll
you'll
see
that
this
is
not
a
you
know:
you're
not
able
to
sign
up
on
this
site,
just
yet
will
be
available
mid-may,
which
is
tomorrow
any
anyhow,
so
so
going
through
the
the
main
details-
and
I
do
want
to
know
a
couple
of
differences
from-
let's
say
version
1.0
to
2.0
for
this,
but
I
will
primarily
focus
on
what
the
pennsylvania
resources
council
will
be
doing
for
the
city
of
pittsburgh
per
our
new
contract
so
similar,
but
similar
to
the
past,
so
twice
weekly
in
the
strip
district.
I
Here
at
environmental
services,
3001,
railroad,
street
tuesdays
and
thursdays,
we
will
be
accepting
also
so
so
part
of
me.
Let
me
just
clarify
I'll,
be
saying
we
when
I
say
we
I
mean
the
city
and
prc
together,
we
will
be
collecting
tvs
and
other
electronic
waste
from
pittsburgh
residents
for
to
recycle
at
a
a
more
affordable
rate
than
version
1.0.
All
items
will
cost
35.
Thank
you,
vanna
white,
highlighting
the
squares
everything.
I
It
will
be
a
flat
rate
of
35
cents
per
pound,
everything
that
there
is
a
charge
for
which
is
most
items
previously
that
had
been
around
40
cents,
especially
for
tvs.
So
we're
really
excited
you
know
the
whole.
The
whole
purpose
of
the
city
pursuing
this
is
to
provide
affordable,
consistent
options
for
pittsburgh
residents
to
be
able
to
properly
recycle
their
e-waste
and
household
hazardous
waste.
I
A
goal
of
that
too,
which
we'll
we'll
talk
about
with
neighborhood
events.
You
know
underlining
that
affordability
and
meeting
people
where
they
are
in
an
accessible
way.
I
I
feel
like
that.
There's
a
there's,
a
series,
there's
a
series
of
other
things.
I
could
I
could
say
there,
but
I
they
don't.
Have
that
note
in
front
of
me:
okay,
soft
launch,
so,
let's
see
twice
a
week,
tuesdays
and
thursdays.
Everything
is
by
appointment.
The
appointments
take
absolutely
no
time
to
sign
up,
for
they
are
for
a
10
minute
slot
to
come
down
primarily
via
primarily
via
vehicle.
I
I
got
I
got
two
too
far
into
the
details
on
that.
I
wasn't
planning
to
say
that,
so
pardon
me
pardon
me,
I'm
a
little
bit
a
little
bit
scattered
today.
Okay,
so
twice
weekly
drop
off
here
in
the
strip
district,
the
four
neighborhood
collection
events.
Once
we
get
to
scheduling
those,
I
I
wanted
to
to
first
note
something
that
we're
going
to
be
tracking
at
the
the
more
cons
the
bi-weekly
drop-off
is
what
neighborhoods
people
are
coming
in
from
that
way.
I
Whenever
we
are
in
the
preliminary
stages
of
planning
the
neighborhood
events,
we
can
be
really
focused
on
what
neighborhoods
have
not
been
making
it
here
in
person
to
the
strip
district,
which
you
know,
we
will
also
be
able
to
use
the
the
guides
and
the
previous
events
from
the
first
version
of
this.
I
So
let
me
just
set
that
aside
for
one
second
and
tell
you
a
little
bit
about
how
this
will
affect
internal
operations.
So
during
the
six-month
hiatus
there
has
not
been
a
city
process
or
clearly
established
roles
and
responsibilities
on
who
is
to
be
responding
to
reports
from
the
public
of
dumped
televisions.
I
Now,
now
that
we
have
this
in
the
works
softly
launching
to
work
out
awesome
kinks
before
doing
the
the
wide
celebratory
highly
promoted
launch,
so
so
something
that
had
existed
in
the
in
the
before
time
say
for
version.
One
was
here
out
of
environmental
services,
the
the
route
that
we
call
the
291
route,
that
services
all
of
the
public
recycling
cans.
I
I
I
guess
we
all
know
where
these
teeth.
We
all
know
where
this
stuff
ends
up
right.
Vacant
lots,
alleys
on
the
sidewalk
on
the
curb,
so
so
we're
going
to
be
shoring
up
the
process
of
how
how
we
kind
of
map
and
batch
those
from
3-1-1
and
from
what
we,
what
we
will
know
to
be
true
of
you
know
how
many
tvs
may
be
at
the
city's
streets,
division,
public
recycling,
drop-off
spots,
although
they
are
not
supposed
to
go
there.
I
So
I
guess
that's
how
I
should
say
it
all
of
the
tvs
that
are
where
they're
all
the
tvs
that
are
where
they
are
not
supposed
to
be.
Besides,
you
know
collecting
dust
in
your
attic
or
basement
or
closet
at
my
house,
we
are
working
on
having
a
really
strategic,
efficient
plan
for
how
how
to
respond
to
those
and
perhaps
not
just
take
a
response
driven
approach.
So
I'm
really
excited
to
work
more
on
that.
I
I
just
want
to
tell
you
that
that's
in
the
works
and
to
keep
to
keep
the
recycling
division
accountable
for
working
some
of
that
out
and
making
sure
that
there
is
a
very
quick
turnaround
time
from
when
something
ends
up
where
it's
not
supposed
to
be
and
when
it
is
able
to
be
pulled
back
and
then
paid
for
by
the
city
to
be
recycled
in
this
program.
I
Okay,
internal
operations.
So
let's
talk
about
neighborhood
events
a
little
bit.
I
wanted
something.
Oh,
I
meant
to
leave
off
the
price
until
bringing
this
up
so
that
35
cents
a
pound,
even
though
that
is
more
affordable
city
subsidized
more
affordable
than
we've
been
able
to
offer
in
the
past.
I
I
would
still
like
to
ask
you
and
in
part
of
the
discussion,
I'm
not
sure
what
this
ask
exactly
is
how
how
could
we
go
about
subsidizing
this
and
I'd
be
happy
to
do
a
little
run
through
of
some
of
the
or,
I
guess,
ask
chris
and
amie
to
help
with
with
some
of
the
ways
that
that
the
clean
pittsburgh
commission
has
previously
subsidized
this
recycling
for
residents
that
had
had
previously
been
not
limited
but
specific
to
the
neighborhood
collection
events,
so
I
was
hoping
to
have.
I
I
I
don't
know
if
budgeted
it's
the
right
word
but
approved
in
the
pittsburgh
commission's
annual
budget.
Some.
I
I
How
about
this
I'll
pose
this
and
then
open
it
up
to
everyone
for
discussion?
Please
how
can
the
city?
How
do
we
go
about
subsidizing
this
further.
D
I
know
previously
we
attempted
to
use
vouchers.
You
know
I
think
getting
that
reach
to
you
know
having
that
reach
to
people
that
we
intended
people
who
need
the
assistance,
no
judgment,
you
know
they
just
didn't,
have
access
or
just
they
didn't
reach
them
right.
I
think
that's.
One
of
the
things
you
want
to
try
to
work
out
is
better
reach.
I
D
B
I
was
going
to
say:
omnia,
you
can
stop
sharing
your
screen.
You're
still
you're
still
doing
that.
But
you
know
we've
talked
a
lot
about
different
ways
to
to
reach
people.
Obviously
the
people
who
need
the
most
help
are
obviously
the
the
hardest
people
to
reach.
From,
from
a
non-profit
standpoint,
a
government
standpoint
things
like
that.
B
H
Yeah,
that's
a
really
good
point
thanks
chris,
can
you
talk
a
little
bit
just
to
refresh
my
memory
of
what
we've
tried
in
the
past
or
what
has.
D
Yeah
totally
yeah,
so
you
know
we
allocated,
you
know.
Five
thousand,
I
think,
might
have
been
two
thousand
in
the
beginning.
If
vouchers
split
up
over
you
know
twenty
dollar
vouchers
for
our
neighborhood
collection
events-
and
you
know
reached
out
to
council
members
to
let
them
know
that
they're
available
and
you
know
not
too
many
good
first
cracks
at
it,
but
yeah
so
making
those
things
available.
First,
we've
worked
with
three-on-one
for
people
to
call
three
on
one
so
that
information
then
passed
along
to
our
vendor.
D
The
second
iteration
was
just
having
an
option
on
the
ec
snr's
website.
They
were
able
to
work
with
us
and
you
know
people
could
click.
You
know
a
box
and
say
hey.
I
would
like
to
have
you
know
assistance
you
know.
While
they
they
did.
You
know
get
a
couple.
People
who
asked
for
that
assistance.
Some
of
them
didn't
show
up.
Some
people
didn't
even
take
it
when
they
arrived.
D
You
know
like
I
guess
it
wasn't
automatically
applied
in
the
way
that
I
thought
it
would
have
been
applied,
but
yeah
and
we
didn't
even
reach
our
goal.
Good.
I
And
if
and
if
I
could
just
add
to
that
yeah
so
then
and
then
the
way
it
worked
as
far
as
the
the
dollars
from
the
clean
pittsburgh
commission
actually
being
applied
was
it
was
almost
a
separate
bill
from
the
company
for
those
dollar
amounts,
and
we
had
done
what
we'd
allocated
enough.
We
wanted
to
do
20
dollars
for
dollars
per
person
for
with
up
to
five
thousand
dollars.
Please
don't
make
me
do
that
math,
but
but
yeah
that's
what
it
was.
I
H
Can
I
ask
another
question:
when
the
so,
if
someone
puts
a
tv
out
or
or
something
that
the
city
won't
pick
up,
we'll
use
tv
as
an
example,
is
there
a
notice
still
are
these?
Are
you
still
putting
notices
on
the
tv
that
you
can't
take
it,
and
here
are
some
options
for
you
and
does
that
include
information
about
the
voucher.
B
So
we
do
have
new
stickers
for
tvs,
tires
and
other
curbside
things
that
we
have
tested
out
and
just
recently
I
mean
within
maybe
the
last
six
months
rolled
out.
New
stickers,
more
high
information
stickers
is
what
we
called
it
and
then
another
one,
that's
low
information,
and
it's
just
like
a
checklist.
You've
left
out
your
your
stuff
too
early.
It's
very
easy
to
understand.
B
E-Waste
is
definitely
one
that
people
need
a
little
bit
more
information
on
and
we
have
directed
them
in
that
sticker
to
look
at
our
website
to
find
more
ways
to
recycle
that
so
vouchers
were
not
specifically
mentioned
on
it,
because
we
didn't
know
if
we
were
going
to
be
using
a
voucher
system
this
year
or
anything
like
that.
B
B
So
then,
I
think
the
last
round
we
did
like
500
stickers,
which
was
a
very
low
compared
to
what
we've
previously
done.
So
if
we
do
figure
out
a
great
voucher
system
or
financial
assistance
system
that
easily
fits
on
that
sticker,
we
can
update
that.
I
Sure,
and
if
I
could
just
add
on
to
that,
so
chris
you've
done
such
great
work
with
with
making
those
violation
stickers
more
legible,
more
easy
easier
for
our
foreman
to
use.
It's
been
great
for
tvs.
The
tag
is
this:
is
the
let's
see
the
current
sticker
so
so
myrna?
I
guess
in
a
roundabout
way
to
answer
your
question.
I
Let
me
just
note
how
kind
of
my
understanding
of
how
it's
gone
in
the
past
so
in
response
to
any
311
I'll
just
talk
about
the
response,
I'm
still
not
super
clear
on
the
proactive
approach
that
has
been
taken
in
the
past
and
you
know
just
what
to
say
that
we
will
be
doing
in
the
future
there's
work
needed,
but
in
the
in
the
past
it
had
been
in
response
to
a
three-on-one
report
that
there
is
a
tv
sitting
somewhere,
one
of
our
environmental
services
foreman,
you
know
during
the
course
of
their
their
route
would
stop
by
verify
that
it's
there
and
slap
one
of
these
stickers
on
it.
I
So,
just
just
to
loop
back
to
that
chris,
like
the
the
need
for
a
specialty,
you
know
one
stop
or,
if
ever,
a
need
for
a
specialty
sticker.
It's
this
one
and
we'll
have
to.
B
Talk
about
that,
I
will
say:
that's
the
old
sticker.
I'm
gonna
share
what
our
new
one
looks
like
and-
and
this
is
what's
currently
being
used
and
if
we
do
have
a
better
system
for
providing
assistance,
we
can
update
this
fairly
easily.
H
And
I
was
just
suggesting
that
there
didn't
even
have
to
be
potentially
not
even
specifics
on
this
sticker,
just
something
that
the
city
does
offer
a
voucher
program
or
something
that's
fairly
vague
could
could
be
on
here.
I
know
you
have
the
link
to
the
city's
website
that
will
have
that
information,
but
just
something
that's
very
visible
and
very
plain
so
that
it's
a
homeowner,
you
know
puts
the
tv
out.
H
B
Or
even
that
language
in
here
about
you
know,
with
the
tires
with
the
e-waste,
even
if
even
minus
a
possible
voucher
that
these
things
are
subsidized,
so
it's
it's
probably
not.
You
know
the
full
amount
that
they
may
be
thinking
it
might
be
compared
to
other
places.
So
that
is
a
good
note
to
to
have
on
here.
You've
got
to
do
something
with
this:
it
will
cost
money.
It
is
subsidized
and
there's
there's
resources
available.
B
I
think
the
resources
available
has
definitely
been
left
out
of
this
iteration
of
the
sticker
and
and
before
we
order
our
next
next
batch.
We'll
have
a
good
conversation
about
what
that
looks
like
to
make
sure
people
now.
I
Part
part
of
part
of
some
of
the
internal
operations,
though
I
would
like
to.
I
would
like
to
have
some
kind
of
not
decision
making
tree
but
be
able
to
use
discretion
in
different
ways
if,
if
a
tv
is
in
front
of
somebody
and
part
of
me,
this
is
information
that
we
would
not
really
want
to
publicly
promote.
I
But
you
know
among
commission
members,
even
even
you
know
excessively
broadcast
I
do.
I
do
want
to
bring
it
up
to
to
be
able
to
take
advantage
of
the
brain
trust
here.
If
there
is,
you
know
much
like
a
lot
of
our
other
work
around
the
city,
schools
on
littering
and
dumping
and
coming
up
with
you
know
a
process
for
when
we
decide
it
is
not
worth
enforcing
this.
We
need
to
just
clean
it
up,
so
I
would
that's
part
of
to
what
I
would
I
would
like
to
have
established
internally.
I
If
we
are
going
into
an
alley-
and
there
is
no
no
sign-
there
are
no
signs
of
life
around-
I
see
no
need
to
sticker
that
and
then
come
back
and
see
if
it's
still
there,
but
I
don't
want
that
to
serve
as
an
invitation
for
people
to
put
tvs
and
alleys,
and
the
city
will
eventually
come
and
grab
them.
So
you
know
when
communicating
this.
The
the
internal
audience.
I
Just
one
more
thing
on
that,
though
myrna
but,
like
chris
mentioned
the
opportu
doing
these
in
small
batches.
Thanks
to,
I
would
say,
clean
pittsburgh,
commission
friend,
friend
of
the
commission,
dan
posinsky.
We
are
able
to
better
control
that
messaging
and
put
more
timely
things
on
there.
So
you
know
usually
you'd
be
like
well
we're
not
gonna.
Have
these
printed
again
for
five
years,
so
hope
everything's
still
true.
C
B
When
we're
you
know,
I
I
think
we've
been
talking
about
trying
to
target,
giving
additional
discounts
to
people
who
who
expressly
need
them
and
they're
hard
to
to
to
reach
that
way.
But
I'm
we've
I'm
wondering
if
there's
some
sort
of
way
to
advertise
a
discount,
not
by
you
know
who
you
are
in
a
socio-economic
sort
of
standpoint.
B
So
if
they
just
leave
it,
maybe
there's
something
we
can
do
where
we
subsidize
illegally
dumped
tvs
and-
and
you
know
I
there's
always
the
worry-
that
people
would
exploit
that
sort
of
loophole
be
like.
Oh,
I
found
this
tv
outside
and
and
so
give
me
a
discount,
but
it's
really
from
their
addicts,
but
at
that
point
they're
they're
somebody
who
apparently
needs
a
discount.
So
let's
give
it
to
them.
B
G
Of
my
head,
I
I
wonder
about
that
too,
because
my
alley
is
a
hot
mess
and
I
don't
think
there's
a
tv
there
used
to
be
a
boat
that
I
think
the
city
did
come
and
get.
Finally,
but
there
is
like
some
tires
randomly,
and
I
heard
exactly
as
chris
said-
I
haven't
necessarily
touched
them
yet
because
I'm
like,
if
I
touch
them,
then
they
become
my
problem
to
try
to
have
to
get
rid
of.
So
that
would
be
really
good
for
myself
internally
to
know
the
answer
to.
H
I
I
was
just
going
to
point
out
that
people
still
don't
realize
that
you
can
take
tires
for
free
to
the
city
that
they're
free
two
at
a
time,
and
you
can
take
two
at
a
time
for
the
rest
of
your
life
every
day
for
free.
I
think
that
the
issue
is
getting
them
there.
You
know
so
that's
another
piece
of
this
potentially,
but.
I
Yeah,
I'm
I'm
writing
all
of
this
down.
I
don't
I
don't.
I
don't
have
answers,
but
I
all
of
this
yes.
I
So
but
but
with
that
before
I
before
I
dip,
could
I
get
some
kind
of
confirmation
from
you
from
the.
I
The
membership
on
what
kind
of
money
potentially
we
could
is
it
are
there
any
specifics
that
I
would
be
able
to
walk
away
from
here
today.
H
B
A
2022,
I
think,
because
of
the
not
really
knowing
what
was
happening
in
e
waste,
we
hadn't
put
in
a
number
for
that.
I
know
in
previous
years
it's
been
4,
500,
5,
000
and
and
not
used
up
to
that
limit,
and
obviously
there
is
still
space
for
an
amount
in
that
neighborhood,
but
again
with
being
unclear
of
who
was
the
provider
and
what
that
contract
was
going
to
look
at.
I
know
it's
been
discussed,
but.
G
I
Started,
I
would
love
that.
I
wonder,
let's
see
so
well,
so
how
so?
How
about
this
of?
I
would
like
to
keep
this
conversation
open,
but
what,
if,
if
not
able
to
attend
what?
If
by
your
the
next
month's
meeting,
I
prepare
a
short
proposal
of
what
I
think
we
could
do
with
with
a
specific
dollar
amount
or
create
a
formula
of
what
we
would
be
able
to
do.
I
I
want
to
have
an
action
item
walking
out
right
out
of
this,
but
I
do
want
you
know
additional
feedback.
G
Maybe
just
a
quick
memo,
I
don't
think
it
has
to
be
anything
in
depth
like
a
quick
memo
that
has
a
paragraph
of
you
know
of
what
you
feel
like
we
would
be
able
to
spend.
You
know,
spend
the
money
on
and
maybe
a
proposal
of
how
much
we
should
put
towards
it.
I
mean
I
don't
think
it
has
to
be
anything
like
too
arduous.
I
I
tend
to
make
too
much
of
things:
yeah,
perfect,
okay,
so
I
will
commit
to
by
in
advance,
if
not
by
next
month's
meeting,
we'll
prepare
a
quick
memo,
and
I
would
just
give
this
off
ask
in
kind
of
keeping
with
previous
years.
I
would
like
to
ask
for
five
thousand
dollars.
Okay,.
G
I
Okay,
ask
coming
great,
let's
see
so:
yes,
we
covered
internal
city
operations,
neighborhood
collection
events,
what
this
kind
of
like
soft
intro.
I
Has
has
looked
like
and
how
we'll
take
that
broader
once
we're
ready
ready
to
announce
it
far
far
and
wide
wide?
I
will
certainly
need
your
help
in
getting
the
word
out
and
we'll
definitely
share
a
couple
of
bite,
size
things,
and
you
know
it
will
be
featured
in
the
newsletter
and
on
the
cleveland
pittsburgh
commission,
facebook.
I
So
you
would
certainly
be
able
to
share
it
from
there,
but,
but
I
kind
of
would
if
we
were
in
person,
I
would
try
the
old
trick
of
making
some
very
direct
eye
contact
with
as
many
people
as
possible.
I
Can
I
put
you
down
for
a
flyer,
but
anyhow
so
I'll
be
back
with
a
a
memo.
A
very
clear
ask:
a
very
clear
dollar
amount
ask
and
a
very
clear
promotional
ask
of
the
commission
as
a
whole
and
you
individually,
as
members.
I
I
Yeah
more
information
coming.
Thank
you
all
so
much
for
your
time
and
for
having
me
what
a
treat
and
I
have
to
pop
off
now.
I
A
Guest
speakers
everything
else
on
the
agenda,
I
think
we're
doing
okay
with
so
if
anyone
has
any
insight
regarding
future
guest
speakers,
I
know
chris
has
been
talking
with
the
creative
center
for
re
center
for
creative
reuse,
like
I
said,
we'll
probably
have
some
from
law
and
ethics
come
and
do
our
annual
ethics
training
as
a
second
half
of
this
meeting
they
are
available
for
june
9th.
A
I
do
not
know
if
pctr
or
whatever
it
is
is
coming
on
june
9th-
I
don't
know
who's
coming
when,
but
we
don't
really
have
to
vote
on
that.
I
guess
that's
just
my
little
mini
baby
update.
A
A
Thanks,
I
did
take
some
notes
that
I
will
share
out
with
erica
german
young
and
I
I
didn't
write
down,
who
moved
and
seconded
things
whoopsie
daisies,
but
I
don't
think
we
need
that
too
to
be
in
compliance
with
our
regular
keepings.
A
Will
be
yeah?
Oh
yeah,
I
really
try
to
avoid
re-watching
the
recording
just
because
no
one
likes
to
watch
themselves
on
the
tv,
but
it
is
possible.
It
could
be
done.
Okay,
thanks
everybody.
We
will
have
our
next
standing
meeting
on
june
9th
and
we'll
look
forward
to
hearing
from
alicia
and
omega
regarding
e-waste
recycling
and
some
of
the
other
things
that
we
went
over
here
today.
Thank
you
for
your
updates,
make
sure
to
get
anything
specifically
to
chris
for
the
newsletter,
and
we
will
see
you
soon.
Thanks.
