From YouTube: Equal Opportunity Review Commission Meeting - 10/21/21
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Okay,
we
have
five
commissioners
on
so
commission
chair.
We
can
get
started
if
you
would
like
the
only
thing
I
didn't
put
on
the
agenda,
and
I
apologize
for
that
is
to
approve
the
minutes
september.
B
Minute,
that's
what
I
was
going
to
do
so
we're
bringing
this
this
eorc
commission
meeting
to
order.
Can
I
get
a
motion
to
approve
last
month's
minutes?
Please
make.
B
B
Okay,
this
plan
is
for
the
housing
authority
american
land
title
alta
survey
for
manchester
redevelopment,
who
do
we
have
on
here.
D
D
Yes,
so
yeah
we,
this
is
a
successful
one.
We
did
outreach
and
we
had
a
minority
firm.
When
is
the
prime
and
they
partnered
with
a
a
sub?
I
could
take
any
questions
you
all
have
on
it.
If
there's
anything
more
you'd
like
me
to
elaborate
on,
I
can
do
that
as
well.
E
E
B
D
Thank
you
so
this
next
one
we're
taking
is
for
plaster
a
support
authority
ride
that
is
repairing
for
especially
for
vacant
units
when
we're
trying
to
turn
them
over
to
get
new
residents
in
sometimes
the
the
leaving
the
previous
residents
will
have
fun
damage,
or
some
other
updates
will
cause
damage
to
the
plastering.
That
need
to
be
done,
and
this
is
for
a
vendor
to
come
in
and
do
that.
This
is
this
company
white
water
painting.
This
is
actually
the
the
second
contract
they've
won
in
the
last
couple
of
months.
D
I
probably
don't
remember
what
the
amount
of
plans
you
guys
see,
but
we
brought
it's
an
update.
We
brought
them
for
occupied
and
common
area
painting
in
october,
and
they
they
are
not
a
minority
firm
and
they
did
not
have
participation,
but
they
were
one
of
three
men,
one
of
two
other
contractors,
both
of
which
were
minority
and
that
that
plan
was
passed.
D
But
since
then
ronaldo
had
worked
with
them
to
keep
increasing
the
outreach
and
that
that
previous
plan,
I
know
I
know
you
guys
asked
for
updates
and
this
one
that
I
can
give.
Luckily,
that
was
for
one
and
a
half
million
dollars
for
five
years
and
we
were
actually
able,
through
this
company's
portion
of
that
contract,
to
increase
that
mbe
percentage
of
that
plan
by
almost
five
percent
because
they
partnered
with
this
csi
construction.
D
So
the
csi
construction
gets
a
portion
of
that
previous
plan
and
this
one
because
when
whitewater
initially
submitted,
they
didn't
have
any
participation,
but
ronaldo
was
able
to
work
with
them
and
they
were
able
to
find
this
csi
construction
company
to
partner
with
as
an
mbe
for
for
18
percent.
D
We
still
had
a
very
difficult
time
trying
to
find
wbes
interested
in
this
project.
I
believe
ronelda
even
reached
out
to
chuck
and
chuck
may
have
made
a
calls
that
were
left
unreturned.
D
So,
if
you
look
in
the
plan,
we
do
include
our
outreach
that
ronelda
did
and
none
of
those
vendors
even
submitted.
We
only
had
two
vendors
submit
at
all
for
this
project,
and
this
is
the
lowest
bidder
and
it
was
it's.
It's
just
been
for
this
project.
It
was
very
difficult.
We
didn't
find
anybody
interested,
but
we
were
able,
at
least
you
know
from
the
time
it
closed,
that
had
zero
and
zero.
She
was
able
to
work
with
him
and
at
least
get
18
mbe,
for
it.
B
D
So
if
I'm
not
mistaken
ronaldo
you
can
weigh
in
but
they're
gonna
do
a
lot
of
cleanup
and
prep
work.
I
believe
for
the
plastering
and
if
they
are,
I
don't
know
if
they
are,
no
testing
wouldn't
be
part
of
it,
but
but
yeah
that's
what
they're
they're
trying
to
they
were
trying
to
carve
something
out
and
they're
gonna
come
in
and
do
some
of
the
work
and
do.
In
addition,
they're
gonna
do
some
cleanup
and
prep
work.
B
What
I
was
gonna
ask
like,
because
I
was
thinking
well,
if
there's
clean
up,
you
know
cleanup
involved
in
this
and
a
part
of
it,
and
it
seems
like
you've
already
carved
that
out
and
that's,
and
that
was
the
mbe
was
interested
in
that
professional
services
is,
is
a
difficult
one.
We,
you
know
I've
I've
been
on
this
commission
since
2012
I've
seen
many
many
contracts
come
through.
B
C
F
Yeah,
I
was
just
gonna
say
that
when
I
spoke
to
the
prime,
they
will
be.
The
csi.
Construction
will
be
like
helping
remove
debris
and
inspecting
for
mold
as
well
so
like
that
will
be
included
with
their
scope
of
work.
E
D
I
believe
they
are
also
a
certified
veteran
on
business
too,
but
I
don't
I
don't
know
since
we
don't
track
that
at
the
authority.
I
don't
know
if
the
city,
I
don't
know
if
they
let
vendors
double
dip
or
how
that
works,
but
it
would
be
18
veteran
owned
too,
but
we
don't.
We
don't
track
that
here
internally,
at
the
housing
authority.
B
No,
I
mean
I
would
you
know,
just
keep
ronaldo
just
keep
doing
what
you're
doing.
We
appreciate
the
effort
of
trying
to
carve
out
these
professional
services.
You
know,
I
thought
I
immediately
when
I
saw
this
contract.
I
thought
clean
up
that
kind
of
thing
and
it
looks
like
you
were
thinking
the
same
thing
and
helped
them
move
forward
with
finding
a
mbe
to
do
to
do
that.
Stuff
and
mold
inspection
is
important.
Also,
so
that's
good.
I
don't
have
any
further
questions.
B
If
anybody
I
I
feel
bad
for
tracy,
james
and
jenna,
we
kind
of
we've
already
gone
through
the
first
one.
They
had
100
participation.
So
obviously
that
didn't
take
too
much
discussion
this.
This
one
is
a
professional
services
contract.
They
have
18
minority
participation,
minority
business
participation.
B
They
carved
that
out,
because
this
white
water
painting
could
do
the
whole
job
themselves,
but
they
carved
out
some
mold
inspection,
prep
work
and
clean
up,
but
their
woman-owned
business
is
zero
percent,
because
that
was
the
only
portion
that
they
could
carve
out
and
they,
and
they
also
didn't,
have
any
any
response
from
a
woman-owned
business
on
the
publication
as
well.
So
do
you
three
have
any
questions
that
you
wanted
to
ask
before
we
put
this
up
for
a
motion.
C
B
So
my
the
only
thing
I
am
going
to
add
to
this
is:
is
you
guys
follow
these
contracts
along?
You
know
through
the
process
of
when
they're
being
completed
and
when
the
jobs
are
being
done.
So
if
there
is
any
down
the
road,
if
you
guys
find
some
woman-owned
business,
that's
interested
in
maybe
hopping
on
this
for
for
whatever,
maybe
it's
photography
or
something
like
that
or
you
know
just
taking
pictures
of
the
out
of
the
projects
after
they're
done
before
you,
you
know,
put
them
put
them
back
out
for
occupancy.
B
I
don't
know
I'm
just
thinking
outside
trying
to
think
outside
the
box,
but
just
keep
us
updated
if,
if
an
opportunity
does
come
up
where
you
could
split
more
of
this
off,
so
can
I
get
a
motion.
E
Can
I
just
ask
a
question:
it's
not
necessarily
related
to
this
project,
but
are
you
all
finding
it
has
it
been
hard
to
find
vendors?
You
know
due
to
the
labor
shortage,
or
is
that
have
you
not
really
felt
that
affected?
I'm
wondering
the
you
know
how
our
our
work
is
going
to
be
affected
by
you
know,
just
generally,
it's
hard
to
find
vendors
these
days.
So
it's
a
great
question.
D
D
We
used
to
have
some
vendors
that
were
mbes
wbs
that
would
continually
bid
and
win
I've
seen
them.
I
think
there
was
two
that
no
longer
do
the
work
we
had
right
now.
It's
it's
a
real
thorn
in
my
side,
we're
trying
to
find
somebody
to
do
fire
hose
inspections,
and
there
were
three
competing
companies.
D
Two
of
them
were
bought
by
the
third
and
now
there's
less
competition,
so
yeah
so
we're
we
are
having
some
trouble
finding
competition
because
we
can't
we
can't
just
move
forward
with
one
right.
We
have
to
follow
the
the
pa
state
and
then
hud
requirements,
so
we
have
to
have
competitive
so
so
sometimes
we
may
have
get.
We
might
get
one
that
looks
great,
but
that
doesn't
help
us
because
we
have
to
have
a
minimum
two
to
three.
D
E
C
B
B
B
A
It
we
want
to
ronaldo
wanted
to
give
a
quick
update
on
one
of
the
plans
from
previous
months.
Oh.
D
Yeah
yeah
yeah
it
was,
it
was
a
hefty
increase
because
it
was
a
one
and
a
half
million
dollar
contract.
She
got
him
to
increase
a
five
percent
overall
working.
I
mean
she's
she's
out
there
working
hard
trying
to
get
vendors
to
to
to
reach
out
and
get
some
quotes
so
so
kudos
to
to
rinelda.
She's
she's
been
awesome
since
she
joined
us
here
at
the
authority.
G
Yeah
good
afternoon
hope
you're
doing
well,
so
we,
since
last
month,
we've
had
six
new
work,
work,
orders,
five,
five
of
which
are
from
domi
and
one
from
department
of
city
planning,
so
I'll
go
through
each
one
of
them.
The
first
one
is
the
grand
view
avenue
steel
bill
wall
replacement.
The
prime
here
is
daplonia,
and
this
has
one
prime
cag
engineering,
which
is
a
wbe,
and
the
project
cost
is
fifty
nine
thousand
a
little
over
one.
G
Fifty
nine
thousand
and
the
wbe
will
will
receive
three
thousand
five
hundred
the
next
one
is
river
avenue
landslide
remediation
slide
s8
this
the
prime
is
dlc
pennsylvania
and
it
has
three
subs
one
mb
a
wbe
and
a
veteran-owned
business.
The
project
cost
the
prime
also
is
an
mbe.
G
The
project
cost
is
76
569,
and
this
is
how
it's
going
to
be
divided
among
the
three
subs
over
eighteen
thousand,
seven
hundred
percent,
five
thousand
five
hundred
and
three
thousand
seven
hundred
the
next
one
is
riverside
avenue
landslide
remediation,
the
prime
again
again
here
is
dapolonia
and
it
has
three
subs
1mb,
wbe
and
veteran
owned,
and
the
project
cost
here
is
51
000
and
that's
how
it's
divided
among
the
three
ten
thousand
a
little
over
ten
thousand
eighteen
and
four
thousand.
G
G
The
project
cost
here
is
seventy
nine
thousand
eight
hundred
and
it's
this
is
the
distribution
among
the
three
subs.
Thirteen
thousand
seventeen
thousand
nine
hundred
and
nine
hundred.
Then
there's
a
mccandless
avenues.
Stair
replacement
this
the
project
cost
is
less
than
fifty
thousand,
so
I
won't
get
into
the
details
the
last
no.
This
is
second,
but
last
is
inspection
of
non
npis
bridges,
prime,
is
tri-state
design
and
development,
and
the
prime
is
an
mbe.
G
They
don't
have
any
subs
on
it,
but
the
total
project
cost
is
97
669..
The
last
one
here
is
is
a
change
order.
G
It's
been
updated,
the
amount
original
cost
has
been
updated
by
95
140,
and
one
more
sub
has
been
added,
so
the
total
project
cost
now
is
4.99
110
and
one
new
sub,
which
is
the
atlantic
aquatic,
is
the
one
which
has
been
added
so,
and
these
are
the
changes
in
the
the
distribution
of
amounts
among
the
subs.
G
Yeah
they
are,
it
is
architectural
and
engineering
services,
basically
for
the
preservation
and
rehab
of
the
bath
house.
Some
additional
services
were
required
because
of
which
they
have
increased
the
budget
on
this
work
order.
A
B
A
B
A
B
A
No
okay
thanks
the
final
thing
on
the
agenda.
Guys
is
our
december
meeting.
I
I
did
not
get
the
confirmation
to
use
the
ikea
room,
yet
I'm
still
waiting
on
that.
I
should
know
for
sure
by
next
meeting,
so
I'll
have
that
in
place.
My
next
meeting,
if
we
cannot
use
the
ikea
room,
we
need
to
think
of
some
alternatives
if
we
still
want
to
get
together
for
the
holidays.
B
C
Okay,
you're
talking
about
the
room
upstairs
and
the
city
county,
building
the
law
library.
On
the
other
side
yep,
I
will
check
and
see
if
that's
still
available.
E
C
Let
me
know
chuck
and
I
will
I'll
get
on
that.
A
That's
all!
I
have
guys
if
you
have
anything
for
me.
B
I
was
just
gonna
say
I
just
had
to.
I
had
a
doctor's
appointment,
my
annual
doctor's
appointment,
which
is
in
that
same
building,
it's
upmc
downtown,
and
they
that
parking
garage,
which
is
right,
you
know,
like
half
a
block
up
and
across
the
street,
was
basically
empty.
So
I
mean
it's:
it's
pretty
easy
to
find
parking
downtown
now
in
parking
garages.
People
are
yes
before
working
from
home.
