The
scope
of
work
is
going
to
be
tearing
down
removing
and
abatement
of
buildings
there,
yet
not
to
exceed
contract
amount
with
six
hundred
and
fifty
eight
thousand
pro
quality
was
the
lowest
responsive,
responsible
bidder
today
to
the
IFB
that
we
put
out
and
they
do
have,
they
do
have
met
the
goals
of
eighteen
percent
and
seven
with
the
subs
of
WJ
Scott
as
their
MBE
in
jeo
unlimited
as
their
double.
You
guys
have
any
questions.
D
B

A
B
F
F
Yeah,
so
this
is
a
slide
remediation
project,
Holly
Guttman
Park
in
Troy
hill.
Behind
the
spray
park
there
has
been
some
land
movement
which
has
compromised
a
sidewalk
and
a
slope.
Our
project
involves
reconstructing
the
slope,
you
soil
nails
as
a
technique
to
stabilize
the
slope
and
rebuilding
it
back
up
and
restoring
the
sidewalk
and
restoring
there's
some
utility
lines
that
are
in
danger.
That
will
be
stabilized
as
part
of
that
Alison
Park
was
our
low
bidder.
The
contract
was
seven
hundred
seventy
thousand
dollars.
F
D
E
This
project
is
is
unique
in
that
and
designers
can
probably
probably
add
to
it.
It's
a
sono
project
which
is
a
specialized
project
and
there
aren't
any
minority
drillers
to
to
utilize
on
the
project,
other
the
equipment's,
relatively
expensive
and-
and
we
just
exhausted
everything
we
could
and
and
with
the
nature
of
the
project.
It
just
doesn't
lend
itself
to
do
anything,
and
that's
that's
really.
The
lion's
share
of
the
project.
G
Yeah,
that's-
that
is
true.
The
majority
of
this
work
is
the
soil.
Nail
work
and
I've
never
come
across
a
DBE
firm
that
it
actually
did
soil
nail
work
myself,
I,
don't
know
if
Eric's
ever
come
across
any
and
some
of
the
work
that
he's
done
to
either
but
yeah.
The
lion's
share
of
this
work
is
the
soil,
stabilization
and
you're
kind
of
stuck
with
having
to
do
that
with
a
qualified
contractor.
They
can
do
this
type
of
work
in
soil
nails
after.
B
This
work
is
completed.
Is
there
any
opportunity
for
additional
work
that
dbe's
can
do
with
regard
to
to
putting
the
land
back
together
any
of
the
concrete
work,
if
there's
anything
such
as
that
that's
needed?
Is
there
additional
work
after
this
stabilization
of
the
land,
where
dbe's
can
be
utilized
with.
E
With
the
with
the
project
being
so
heavy
on
the
on
a
so
nailed
portion
of
it
there,
there
certainly
is
some
sidewalks
to
go
back
its
and
other
typical
projects.
We
would
see
a
larger
restoration
portion
that
we
could
utilize
other
other
minority
contractors,
but
this
one,
it's
that
so
so
minor
like
I,
said
I
think
we've
pretty
much
exhausted
everything
in
the
amount
of
a
lot
of
dollars
for
the
restoration.
Just
just
isn't
there
to
to
utilize
someone
so
I
think
we
we
unfortunately
tried
to
we've
used
every
guess,
effort.
E
We
can
it's
just
unfortunate
with
this
project.
Justjust
doesn't
lend
itself
to
to
try
and
trying
to
do
it.
My
other
projects
certainly
have
other
projects
with
the
state,
turnpike
and
I
go
over
on
those
ones.
It's
just
unfortunate
on
this
one.
It
just
just
doesn't
meet
the
exact
exact
requirements,
but
if
there's
additional
work
or
something
I'm
all
for
trying
to
trying
to
meet
the
goaltender
today,
I
work
with
whoever,
whenever
to
try
and
utilize
minorities
on
the
project,
to
meet
the
goals.
E
A
Would
like
to
say
to
that
I've
been
working
with
those
guys
and
we
did
bring
the
percentage
up,
Commissioner
Lewis
from
one
percent
to
the
eleven
three
three
now
so
they
have
been
working
with
Eric,
Kendall's
and
Alison
to
get
that
that
up
and
they
came
up
ten
percent
since
we've
been
working
together.
So
there
they've
done
a
good
job
of
that
I.
Just.
B
Have
one
one
last
time
just
point
to
make
I
think
you
know
what
we?
What
we
heard
today
is
that
there
are
no
in
dbe's
or
minority
or
women-owned
businesses
that
do
this
type
of
work.
That
is
an
issue
that
I
see,
and
I
think
in
years
to
come.
It's
not
going
to.
We
can't
use
that
excuse
anymore.
What
types
of
opportunities
are
we
giving
for
dbe's
that
may
have
interest
in
doing
this
work,
giving
them
the
tools
necessary
to
become
certified?
B
There
are
none
that
have
the
resources
to
be
able
to
do
this
work
so
I
think
that's
part
of
the
ERC,
and
some
of
the
things
that
we
look
at
for
companies
to
do
is
to
be
able
to
give
opportunities
to
be
able
to
share
knowledge
and
be
able
to
share
resources
to
put
people
in
place
to
give
them
the
opportunities
to
do
this
kind
of
work.
So
that's
all
that
I
have
to
say
and
I
do
see.
B
H
Okay,
well,
I
have
a
little
bit
of
obviously
a
little
bit
of
background
on
on
this.
This
just
talking
to
chuck
over
the
past
couple
days
regarding
it
and
like
he
said,
the
these
guys
really
did
go
back
to
the
drawing
board
and
put
forth
more
of
an
effort
and
I
think
you
know
really
put
a
good
faith
effort
end
of
trying
to
get
more
participation.
H
D
D
D
D
H
A
Allo
Commissioners
we're
going
to
post
all
the
itq
update
report
until
next
month,
because
in
paws
I
had
an
emergency
today
with
her
daughter
was
going
to
give
you
that
update
I
will
give
you
the
20/20
update
report
on
our
plans.
As
of
today,
we
have
approved
19
plans
for
a
little
over
twelve
million
dollars.
A
Ten
of
those
plans
are
housing
authority.
Seven
of
those
plans
are
from
Department
of
mobility
and
infrastructure
and
two
were
from
City
Planning
this
time.
Last
year
we
were
maybe
five
or
six
plans
ahead,
and
maybe
ten
or
20
million
ahead.
It's
not
coming
the
way.
I
thought
it
would
out
doing
this
time
with
Kovac,
but
things
will
be
picking
up.
We
have
the
SBA
coming
back
to
us
next
month,
they're
going
to
start
doing
their
work
on
the
North
Shore
starting
in
September,
so
they're
gonna
be
that's.
H
H
G
D
A
H
A
D
A
H
A
Was
one
other
thing
that
I
wanted
to
talk
to
you
guys
about
I'm
I've
been
diving
into
the
compliance
in
now
that
I
have
blue,
paws
and
they're
doing
some
of
these
other
stuffs.
So
we
need
to
go
over
177
a
in
the
city
code
about
some
of
the
disciplines
that
that
you
guys
can
impose
on
people
who
are
not
meeting
up
to
their
compliance
in
I.
B
A
Now
is,
is
its
me
in
new
positive
doing
it,
but
they're
getting
ready
to
hire
another
individual
I'm
hoping
to
get
them
on
boarded
by
September
and
that'll,
probably
be
they're.
Probably
main
focus
is
to
see
the
compliance
in
and
make
sure
cuz.
He
I
took
a
quick
scan,
Commissioner,
Lewis
and
I
found
out,
and
although
that
they
come
up,
do
the
percentages.
A
lot
of
on
fall
short,
so
I
need
to
have.
Somebody
help
me
take
a
deeper
dive,
you're
right
so
hopefully
there'll
be
somebody
with
me
by
September.
That's.
