A
So
welcome
everyone.
Thank
you
so
much.
We
have
a
very
special
guest
today,
erica
coolan,
who
is
the
author
of
adventures
in
pittsburgh,
which
is
a
really
wonderful
book,
is
going
to
talk
about
her
journey.
As
an
author
and
her
connection
to
pittsburgh
and
mayor
peduto
is
going
to
read
her
really
wonderful
book,
so
we're
going
to
send
it
on
over
to
the
mayor
right
now.
Thank.
B
You
tiffany
and
thank
you
to
erica
somebody
who
I
had
the
pleasure
of
meeting
this
past
spring.
B
Erica's
book
is
important
to
me,
not
only
because
it's
called
pittsburgh,
but
it
welcomes
all
the
little
ones
to
become
little
burgers
and
it
highlights
all
the
different
parts
that
makes
pittsburgh
special
in
a
truly
special
way.
So,
as
we
have
launched
our
reading
program
and
we
have
launched
our
imagination
library,
which
has
provided
over
50
000
books
to
young
pittsburghers,
let
us
continue
that
series.

B
Thank
you
tiffany,
and
thank
you
erica
for
putting
the
love.
C
I
love
my
city,
thank
you
so
much
when
an
honor
mayor
peduto
to
have
you
read
my
book,
I'm
so
passionate
about
pittsburgh,
but,
more
importantly,
my
beautiful
children
in
pittsburgh
pennsylvania
and
I
just
truly
appreciate
all
the
love
and
support
that
came
out
of
pittsburgh.
So
thank
you
so
so
much
for
just
your
love
and
support
mayor
peduto
and
thank
the
city
of
pittsburgh
for
their
love
and
support.
C
My
name
is
erica
poole
and
everyone
welcome
mayor.
Peduto
did
an
amazing
job.
I'm
so
super
excited
to
be
here
today
and
I
challenge
you
to
grab
the
book
and
take
an
adventure
across
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
Look
in
a
book
and
if
there's
somewhere,
you
have
not
been.
I
challenge
you
to
take
your
family,
your
parents,
your
grandparents,
your
loved
ones
and
go
on
a
little
adventure
around
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
C
Of
course,
I
live
in
maryland
right
now
guys,
but
I
my
love.
My
heart
is
still
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh,
and
that
is
the
reason
why
I
dedicated
this
book
to
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
I
want
everyone
across
the
globe
to
know
how
beautiful
the
city
of
pittsburgh
is.
We
do
some
amazing
things
and
yes,
we
have
to
brag
about
it.
So
thank
you
guys
so
much
mayor
peduto.
What
an
honor
again!
Thank
you
so
so
much
you
can
grab
my
books
on
amazon.
C
B
Erica
I
had
the
opportunity
to
meet
you
this
spring
and
you
you
talked
about
your
opportunity
of
growing
up
here
and
how
it
provided
you
the
opportunity
not
only
to
become
a
writer
but
also
to
become
an
entrepreneur,
and
I
I
just
wanted
to
know
if
you
could
share
that
with
the
people,
because
you
know
the
the
path
that
you've
taken.
Sort
of
is
one
of
a
trailblazer
and
being
able
to
share
that
path.
Maybe
there's
a
young
person
out
there
right
now
who
has
that
same
dream.
C
Absolutely
absolutely
so
one
thing
as
a
little
girl
growing
up
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
I
did
not
believe
in
myself
right.
I
considered
myself
a
little
ugly
duckling
at
the
time
guys
and
I
was
so
upset,
but
the
city
of
pittsburgh
supported
me
right,
and
so
I
bloomed
and
grew
up
and
knew
exactly
what
I
wanted
to
do
in
life,
and
that
was
to
give
back
to
my
babies
across
the
nation
and,
more
importantly,
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
C
So
when
I
grew
up,
I
said
you
know
what
I
have
to
do,
something
that
will
make
a
difference
in
the
lives
of
our
communities
as
well
as
my
children,
and
so
I
decided
why
not
write
a
book.
So
my
first
book
was
called
believing
in
myself
and
this
story
is
based
off
of
pretty
much
a
little
girl
such
as
myself,
who
did
not
believe
in
herself
and
one
day
she
just
grew
up
and
said.
You
know
what
look
out
beyonce
kim
kardashian-
and
I
forget
her
other
name-
taylor.
C
Swift,
yes,
because
here
comes
erica
poulin
and
she
does
believe
in
herself
so
growing
up
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
While
I
had
so
many
opportunities,
I
was
the
youngest
to
place
in
a
miss
black
teenage
pageant
which
really
started
my
confidence
as
a
little
girl
as
a
as
a
teenager,
growing
up
again
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh,
but
I
went
further
than
I
I
decided
I
need
more.
I
need
more
right.
C
C
I
am
america's
most
wanted,
and
this
book
was
to
turn
something
negative
into
something
positive,
that
we
can
do
and
be
whatever
it
is.
We
want
to
in
life,
so
this
book
aligns
with
believing
in
myself
right.
So
at
the
end,
it
says,
look
out
president
barack
obama
lebron
james
and
martin
luther
king
jr,
because
here
comes
and
the
baby
puts
his
name
right
there
and
I
am
america's
most
wanted,
and
what
that
book
is
saying
is
that
I
can
be
despite
the
color
of
my
skin.
I
can
be
the
next
president.
C
C
My
books
are
in
six
different
countries
right
now,
so
kudos
to
miss
erica
and
that's
how
it
all
got
started
and
so
up
to
date
I
am
the
ceo
of
my
own
publishing
company
wepublishingcompany.com,
where
I
make
dreams
come
true
for
not
only
adults
but
for
children
as
well,
and
I'm
also
a
radio
personality
for
kudos
for
kids,
sponsored
by
hindsight,
media
radio
103.5
fm
in
atlanta,
where
I
interviewed
children
across
the
globe.
I
just
interviewed
mayor
peduto
a
little
girl
in
greece
and
wow.
Was
she
amazing?
C
And
so
that's
what
I
love
to
do.
That's
how
I
started
honestly.
I
did
not
believe
in
myself
so
every
night
I
challenge
you
guys
to
brush
your
teeth,
really
good,
really
really
good
and
then
stand
up
tall
and
say
I
believe
in
myself,
and
if
you
do
that
every
night,
then
let
me
tell
you
something:
the
sky
is
the
limit
and
miss
erica
believes
in
you.
You
can
do
it.
C
I
know
you
can,
because
I
did
it
and
I
I'm
telling
you
I
practice
this
every
day
I
have
to
even
as
an
adult
as
a
grandmom.
I
have
to
remind
myself
that
I
believe
in
myself
so
when
it
gets
tough
know
that
somebody
out
there
believes
in
you
but
more
importantly,
miss
erica
challenges.
You
to
believe
in
yourself,
but
that's
how
I
got
started
mayor
paduta.
B
B
What
other
programs
does
the
city
offer
to
our
young
burgers
when
it
comes
to
literacy.
A
Sure
thing
hi,
so
one
of
the
things
that
we
offer
is
the
dolly
parton,
imagination,
library
and
it's
a
book
gifting
program
that
provides
children
under
the
age
of
five
that
have
a
home
address
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh
a
free
book
every
month
until
they
turn
five
and
you
can
go
to
dollypartonimaginationlibrary.com
to
sign
up.
It's
very
quick,
we'll
make
sure
we
put
the
link
below,
and
so,
if
you
do
have
a
child
under
the
age
of
five,
we
encourage
you
to
sign
up.
The
books
are
really
great
developmentally
appropriate
books.
A
The
other
opportunity
we
have
is,
we
have
a
website
called
our
future
pgh,
and
that
is
a
website
where
you
can
go
in
and
you
can
see
what
opportunities
are
available
for
children
and
youth
in
the
city,
such
as
recreation
programs,
educational
programs,
sport
programs,
so
you
can
find
something
for
your
child
to
be
engaged
with.
But
thank
you
so
much.
We're
really
really
appreciative
of
erica
and
her
wonderful
book
and
her
really
positive
message
and
mayor.
You
did
a
wonderful
job.
Reading.
B
I
just
couldn't
figure
out
how
left
was
right
and
right
was
left,
so
I
got
some
work
to
do
on
my
teleprompting
to
two
fantastic
women
who
are
two
fantastic
leaders
in
providing
opportunity
for
children
and
understanding
the
education
comes
at
a
very
early
age,
and
it's
never
too
early
to
begin
reading
to
our
children
to
give
them
the
chance
to
succeed
in
life.
Thank
you
for
the
work
that
you
both
do
and
thank
you
for
allowing
pittsburgh
to
be
a
part
of
it.
Absolutely.
