From YouTube: LGBTQIA+ Commission Meeting - 1/20/22
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
All
right,
so
we
can
go
ahead
and
get
started
thanks
everybody
filling
in
for
sue
tonight,
but
we'll
just
go
ahead
and
get
started
so
the
first.
I
guess
the
call
to
order
there
we
go
there.
It
really
is
fight
fake
start,
so
go
ahead
and
get
started.
We
can
start
with
the
roll
call
so
billy.
I
think
that'll
turn
out
over
to
you.
B
Okay,
thank
you.
Yes,
I
see
kathy
boyle
is
nikia
burton
tucker.
Here
I
don't
see
nakia
all
right,
denise
de
simone,
I
see
you
jam
hammond.
Have
you
arrived
jam?
Let
me
know
if
you're
here,
I'm
here,
suker
is
not
here.
I'm
bruce
kraus.
I
haven't
seen
bruce
kraus.
B
Britain
did
britain
arrive,
yet
you
can
see
britain
lenny,
I
saw
lenny
lenny
orbovich
richard
parsekian.
I
have
not
seen
yet
shantae
porter
not
seen
yet
christopher
robinson
is
here.
Marcus
robinson
is
here.
Sarah
rosso
is
here
lucas
salerno
is
here,
derek
tynes
is
here
and
guillermo
vazquez
is
here,
so
I
think
good
shape.
A
Perfect,
can
everyone
see
the
agenda
on
my
screen
all
right?
If
you
need
me
to
zoom
in
or
anything,
let
me
know
so
I
guess
one
thing
to
preface
with
before
kind
of
diving
in
further
we'll
see
those
minute
kind
of
guy
guidelines.
Next
to
his
agenda
item,
to
try
to
you
know,
make
sure
we
have
enough
time
to
discuss
all
the
different
topics
and
everything.
A
So
just
keep
that
in
mind,
so
we
can
make
sure
we
talk
about
everything,
so
the
next
thing
would
be
the
reading
and
approval
of
the
minutes
which
I
have
here
were
there
any
questions.
Sorry
go
ahead:
billy.
B
Yeah
I'll
I'll
make
a
motion
to
adopt
the
minutes
from
our
december
16th
2021
regular
commission
meeting.
C
All
right,
so
I
guess
I'm
happy
to
sort
of
give
a
brief
update.
We
haven't
had
a
chance
to
get
together
yet
and
sort
of
discuss
the
results
of
our
meetings.
Many
of
us
have
had
one-on-one
conversations
with
the
other
commissioners.
Not
all
of
these
conversations
have
happened
yet.
So
if
you
have
not
been
contacted
to
set
up
a
one-on-one
conversation,
please
let
us
know,
and
if
you
have
been
contacted,
to
set
up
a
one-on-one
conversation
but
haven't
set
one
up.
C
Please
get
on
that
because
we're
really
hoping
to
get
everyone's
perspective
kind
of
holistically.
This
will
help
us
kind
of
understand
where
we're
headed
as
a
commission.
What
individual
people's
priorities
and
hopes
and
feedback
are.
We've
been
getting
some
really
useful
feedback
that
we
hope
to
work
on
in
the
future,
so
next
month,
hopefully
we'll
be
able
to
give
you
kind
of
a
final
update
on
that
project.
A
So
the
next
one
just
moving
on
to
the
establishment
of
a
budget
committee
so
guillermo,
I
believe,
you'll,
be
talking
a
little
bit
about
this
item.
F
F
So
basically,
what
we're
trying
to
do
is
have
our
additional
two
members
to
work
with
us
in
the
to
work
with
me
actually
in
the
budget
committee,
so
that
we
can
get
first
of
all
a
structure
of
the
budget
and
there's
more
than
one
person
involved
in
this.
Not
just
me
making
sure
that
we
follow
the
guidelines
of
the
city
for
the
uses
of
the
money.
F
Overall,
those
are
the
main
areas
if
there's
anything
else
that
I
miss
please
or
anything
that
anyone
would
like
to
add.
But
that's
what
I
see
at
the
moment
components
of
this.
F
So
for
that
we
have
to
make
our
a
motion
for
two
volunteers
to
join
me
and
yeah.
Billy
would
like
to
speak.
Go
ahead
with
me.
B
Yeah
yeah,
what
I
would
like
to
do
is
you
know
to
just
formalize
this
a
little
a
little
more.
I
mean
I
really.
I
appreciate
your
earlier
email
with
and
you've
just
outlined
what
what
you
sent
earlier
to
some
of
us,
and
I
I
think
that
I
would
what
I
would
like
to
do
is
I
have
both
your
text
and
my
modified
text
and
I'll
screen
share
it
and
I'll
make
a
I
would.
I
would
make
a
motion
to
adopt
mine
because
yeah
I'm
assuming
a
friendly
amendment
anyway.
B
So
if,
if
that's
all
right,
I
don't
know
yeah,
I
do
have
screen
share.
I
cannot
screen
share,
while
the
other
participant
is
sharing,
but
okay
I'll,
give
that
a
a
try
again
and
then
then
all
I
have
to
do
is
pick
out
the
right
document
to
share.
B
So
I
don't
know
how
well
how
visible
this
is
to
you
because
of
the
my
screen.
But
can
you
see
this
or
do
I
need
to
do
yeah
yeah?
We
can
see
okay,
so
the
in
in
blue.
The
the
second
section
is
what
guillermo
had
has
just
stated.
My
my
text.
I
think
just
tidies
it
up
a
little
bit
to
preserve
the
commission,
the
full
commission's
authority
on
approving
allocations
prior
to
expenditures.
B
B
He
can
stop
me
the,
but
I
make
a
motion
then,
to
establish
a
budget
committee
of
the
commission
to
develop
a
draft
budget
that
identifies
allocation
categories
according
to
the
goals
and
programming
of
the
commission
and
to
produce
and
update
the
commission's
budget
pending
approval
by
providing
clear
rules
and
recommended
guidelines
for
budgeting
process
and
uses
and
uses
of
funds
and
to
ensure
and
maintain
fiscal
responsibility
in
accordance
with
the
city
of
pittsburgh
guidelines-
and
I
will
add
another
one-
the
the
committee
will
be
a
minimum
of
three
members
of
this
commission.
F
So
with
that
said,
we
would
like
to
hear
who
would
like
to
volunteer
to
join
this.
C
E
This
will
be
a
permanent
committee,
in
addition
to
the
ones
that
were
spelled
out
in
the
by
bylaws.
B
That's
my
understanding,
there's
going
to
need
to
be,
I
mean
the
members
can
change,
obviously,
but
the
there
would
need
to
be
a
a
budget
each
year
annually
and
it
would
need
to
be
overseen
as
guillermo.
I
mean
his.
His
three
points
are
spot
on
I
mean
he.
He
really
identified
the
right
regulations
on
on
doing
a
committee,
but
yeah
it
would
be
a
standing
committee
of
the
of
the
commission.
G
Billy,
I
think
you
mis-typed
there
in
the
last
one
instead
of
the
commission
shouldn't
it
be.
The
committee
will
be
a
minimum
of
three
members
of
the
commission
there.
Thank
you.
You're
welcome.
B
E
So
I
move
that
we
create
a
standing
and
permanent
budget
committee.
In
addition
to
those
spelled
out
the
bylaws.
B
E
B
As
the
as
the
maker
of
the
motion
I'll
accept
that
as
a
friendly
amendment.
But
I
and
I
yield
to
guillermo
on
this
because
I'm
kind
of
stealing
his
his
language
and
made.
F
So
we
only
have
five
minutes
for
this
section,
so
you
know,
I
think
it's
important
that
we
select
the
if
we
all
agree
on
those
three
bullets.
That
really
has
very
kindly
helped
me
to
polish,
and
now
we
would
like
to
know
who
can
participate
if
people
don't
feel
ready
to
to
do
that.
F
Please
do
let
us
know,
and
if
we
are
then,
let's
just
see
who
can
participate.
B
Why
don't
we
do
this?
Let's
just
go
to
a
vote
on
this
I'll,
add
in
on
the
as
a
friendly
amendment
of
another
bullet
and
to
incorporate
the
the
language
into
the
bylaws,
and
what
we
can
do
is
because
this
might
not
be
the
exact
language.
We
have
to
look
at
the
bylaws
and
just
you
know,
for
formatting
and
stuff,
and
I
will
I'll
send
that
out
after
this
is
adopted
and
and
we
can
approve
if
we
have
to
tweak
any
language.
We
can
approve
that
next
time.
B
But
let's
just
do
that
and
and
then
do
a
vote
now
so
that
you
can.
We
can
establish
the
who's
going
to
be
on
the
committee.
B
A
A
Objections
all
right,
so
I
believe
this
passes
so
guillermo.
I
guess
going
back
to
you
so
who
would
be
interested
in
participating
on
this
committee.
G
A
All
right
anything
else,
you
would
like
to
say
guillermo
before
moving
so.
F
A
Sounds
good,
thank
you
so,
moving
to
the
next
two
I
have
those
so
I'll
start
with
the
facebook
page
first,
so
I'm
just
gonna
send
I've
just
sent
out
now
the
link
to
the
facebook
page.
My
plan
is
to
post
these
youtube
links
to
the
meetings
as
well,
but
so
that
link
that
I
just
sent
out
you
should
be
able
to
access
and
follow
the
facebook
page
which
ties
into
the
next
one
I
have
in
terms
of
the
social
media
working
group.
A
One
of
the
plans
is
for
this
group
is
to
you
know
we
to
start
thinking
about
what
content
we
want
to
post
on
it
and
also
thinking
about
some
of
the
larger
policies
and
things
we
want
to
consider
around
our
social
media
use.
So
we
we're
supposed
to
have
our
first
meeting
earlier
this
week,
but
we're
had
a
little
bit
of
miscommunication,
so
we're
going
to
send
set
up
a
meeting.
We
did
a
little
bit
of
informal
planning
through
a
google
doc
that
I
can
also
send
out
as
well.
A
If
people
want
to
have,
you
know,
provide
any
feedback
or
information
in
terms
of
our
plan.
Our
work
plan
for
it,
but
the
goal
is
we'll,
have
monthly
meetings
to
talk
about
different
things
relating
to
social
media
and
our
outside
communication.
A
C
A
H
I
can
share.
I
can
share
some
insight
with
that
apologize.
The
meeting
with
ed
gainey,
I
believe,
went
quite
well.
You
know
we
have
the
opportunity
to
be
able
to
share
some
information
with
him
regarding
the
scope
of
the
committee
of
the
commission.
H
Excuse
me
and
some
of
the
current
projects
that
we
have
worked
on
and
some
things
that
may
be
potentially
upcoming,
and
so
we
just
had
opportunity
to
be
able
to
speak
with
him
to
better
get
a
better
understanding
of
what
his
vision
is
for
the
city,
of
course,
which
is
very
close
in
alignment
with
what
we're
looking
to
accomplish
here
with
this
commission
as
well
and
just
had
an
opportunity
to
be
able
to
help,
you
know,
really
establish
a
collaborative
working.
You
know
relationship
with
him
and
also
his
his
administration.
H
B
Yeah
I'll
I'll
quickly
add
that
we
we
made
the
the
point
near
the
end
of
the
meeting
that
there
was
an
interest
by
this
commission
to
have
a
meeting
with
him
that
included
the
full
commission
and
that
there
there
might
need
to
be
a
meeting,
an
interim
meeting
to
to
establish
an
agenda
where
he
meets
or
his
aides
meet
to
with
the
co-chairs
or
whoever
is
necessary
to
be
there
and
and
and
establish
an
agenda.
But
the
the
next
meeting.
B
B
B
He
was
interested
in
continuing
the
conversation
that
we
had
embarked
upon
in
the
in
the
meeting,
but
we
were
hesitant
to
agree
to
another
substantive
content-filled
meeting
without
the
full
commission
that
we
preferred
to
if
we
had
an
another
meeting
with
a
smaller
group
that
it
was
to
establish
the
meeting
with
the
bigger
group
that
is
set
the
agenda
and
and
get
understandings
on
the
on
the
meeting
that
we
did
not
want
to
continue
with
substantive
talks
without
the
all
the
commissioners
having
an
opportunity
to
participate
in
that,
but
that
they're
they're
open
to
it.
H
I
agree,
and
I
think
we
also
had
the
opportunity
to
talk
about
who
would
be
a
representative
from
his
administration
on
the
commission
in
terms
of
a
liaison
or
someone
who's
actually
from
his
team
as
well.
And
I
don't
believe
we
received
the
response
from
his
administration.
As
of
yet.
I
know
it's
something
that
they
plan
to
get
back
to
us
and
to
be
able
to
discuss.
B
Yeah
for
the
yes
so
also
marcus
and
yeah,
marcus
and
and
chris
and
and
I
and
luca
and
kathy,
were
there,
but
for
the
mayor's
office
it
was
mr
gainey
jake
p-a-w-l-a-k
who's
going
to
be
his
chief
of
staff
and
angel
gober.
Who
is
the
trans?
B
Do
you
mean
jake
weekly,
no
jake
pollock,
not
jake,
wheatley
jake,
paul
p-a-w-l-a-k?
I
am
not.
I
mean,
there's
been
a
couple
indications
of
what
jake
wheatley's
role
is
going
to
be,
but
jake
is
identified
as
the
mayor-elect
chief
of
staff.
According
to
my
notes,.
B
B
Yeah,
I
think
I
think,
where
we
are
we're
waiting
for
for
bruce
to
respond.
I
mean
he
had
offered
his
chief
of
staff.
I
think
it's
his
chief
of
staff
or
whatever
the
one
of
his
lead
persons
on
his
staff,
who
is,
is
what
he
indicated
to
us
at
one
of
our
meetings:
regular
meetings,
those
of
you
who
were
there
heard
it.
B
He
said
he
was
a
an
expert
on
this
and
would
invite
him
to
a
meeting,
but
that
just
hasn't
unfolded
yet
so
we're
we're
sort
of
in
a
holding
pattern
on
getting
information
from
bruce
on
that
right
now,
hopefully,
he'll
respond.
D
H
D
H
A
Going
on
to
the
next
one
conflict
of
interest.
B
I'm
sorry
to
stop.
This
will
only
take
what
I'll
do
is.
Let's,
since
you
know
we
took
notes,
you
took
most
of
the
marcus
and
I
you
know
added
to
them.
Let
that
we'll
share
the
notes
from
the
gaining
meeting
so
because
we
didn't
really
go
over
everything
and
you'll
you'll
really
get
the
full
picture
of
it
and
I'll
take
the
title
off
of
jake
and
whatever
his
title
is
we'll.
Let
them
sort
that
out,
but
jake
was
there
jake
pollock,
not
jake.
B
A
A
All
right
conflict
of
interest-
luca,
were
you,
I
know
we
had.
I
don't
know
if
this
one
was
your
item.
C
It's
I
think,
I'm
as
close
to
whose
item
it
is
as
possible.
So
we
need
to
find
out
at
right
right
now.
We
are
trying
to
kind
of
get
a
sense
about
what
other
commissions
in
the
city
and
what
other
and
what
city
employees
are
doing
in
terms
of
getting
conflict
of
interest
training,
I'm
in
the
process
of
finding
that
information
out
from
the
city's
hr
office.
But
I
don't
have
anything
firm
to
report
on
it
so
hopefully
soon
I
will
actually
have
something.
A
I
I
would
say
check
in
with
leanne
davis,
if
you
haven't
yet
with
the
ethics
commission.
C
B
A
All
right,
so
the
next
year-end
report
status.
So
I
believe
this
is
sue's
item.
I
know
sue
had
been
working
on
putting
together
some
information
and
there
have
been
some
emails
going
back
and
forth
about
you
know
putting
together
this
year-end
report
of
the
work
that
we've
completed
in
the
past
year
and
some
of
the
other
activities
we've
been
involved
in.
I
don't
have
anything
specifically
from
sue
regarding
what
that
includes,
but
I
think
it's
still
working
progress.
A
A
All
right,
and
so
the
last
one
commission
gold
setting
meetings,
so
we
had
one
previously
last
year
where
we
made
a
lot
of
progress
and
thanks
to
denise,
probably
kind
of
articulate
everything,
and
you
know
our
you
know,
start
to
think
about
what
we
want
to
work
on
in
our
collective
high
priority
items.
A
J
Yeah,
I
think
we
could
you
know
with
one
more
meeting.
I
think
we
could
just
finalize
everything
marcus
thanks
for
the
feedback.
I
think
you
know
some
of
your
points
would
like
to
incorporate
along
with
the
others,
but
you
know
it's
really
helpful.
If
there's
I
know
this
is
bad
timing,
but
if
we
could
have
that
in
person
it
seems
to
gel
a
lot
better.
I
know
we're
in
this
coveted
situation,
but
you
know
I
don't
think
we
could
wait.
J
A
A
Sounds
good
thanks,
sneaks
and
then
I
guess
to
there
you'll
send
any
you
know
things
to
think
about
before
as
well.
So
we
can
make
sure
to
look
for
that
as
well.
J
A
Perfect
and
then
just
to
note
here
in
terms
of
that,
you
know
some
of
those
links
to
documents
I
put
them
in
our
google
drive
if
anyone
has
any
difficulty
accessing
those
documents,
just
let
me
or
that
you
know
anything
in
that
drive
in
general.
Just
let
me
know
so
working
on
the
permissions
and
everything,
but
hopefully
we
can
start
to
use
that
we'll
be
putting
our
meeting
minutes
and
everything
there.
So
a
good
reference
point
for
all
our
things
that
we're
working
on.
A
Any
comment
any
other
comments
or
questions
people
had
about
the
goal
setting
other
than
our
next
steps
that
we
have.
B
A
Moving
into
new
business,
the
first
item
is
just
confirming
our
regular
meeting
schedule
schedule
for
2022..
So
I
think
we
had,
you
know
kind
of
talked
a
little
bit
about,
maybe
the
third,
the
third
thursday
of
the
month.
I
don't
know
if
that
feels
or
third
thursday,
the
month
from
5
30
to
7
00
p.m.
A
Do
people
have
kind
of
any
concerns
with
that
potential
recurrence,
or
would
you
like
to
rotate
like
what
are
some
thoughts
there?
Does
that
make
the
most
sense
to
keep
it
consistent.
C
I'd
like
to
start
the
discussion
by
mentioning
that
we
have
asked
the
full
commission
several
times
since
we
started
meeting
on
the
third
thursdays.
If
there
were
times
that
would
work
better
for
other
people,
and
I
have
gotten
no
responses
back
suggesting
that
other
times
would
be
more
convenient
for
more.
J
J
I
don't
know
how
everybody
else
feels,
but
the
third
thursday
at
this
time
seems
to
work
for
me,
but
with
that
said,
I
can
adjust
with
you
know.
If
somebody
has
a
better
time,
it
is
more
convenient
for
them,
I'm
okay,
to
to
move
it.
A
A
B
A
A
A
So
what
I'll
do
is
I'll
send
those
holds
out
like
I
did.
I
don't
know
if
people
that's
been
helpful
to
send
those
meeting
invitations
out
for
the
rest
of
the
year
for
that
third,
thursday
of
the
month
from
5
30
to
7
p.m,
and
update
with
the
zoom
link
in
the
minutes
and
any
documents
that
are
relevant
for
the
meeting.
If
that
sounds
good
to
everyone,.
A
Perfect
so
moving
into
the
next
topic,
covert
policies
and
socials
kind
of
don't
fully
remember
who
was
going
to
lead
this
one.
C
That
would
be
me
sorry.
I
had
to
unmute
for
a
second,
so
there's
been
a
we've
had
kind
of
this
repeated
series
of
questions
that
are
basically
linked
in
with
each
other,
which
are
a.
How
should
the
commission
create
a
coveted
policy
for
how
to
meet
amongst
ourselves
how
to
meet
with
other
entities
that
might
need
to
meet
with
us
in
terms
of
our
hope
to
have
partnerships
with
other
offices
and
organizations
and
also
how
we
can
go
about
having
social
activities
with
each
other?
C
A
lot
of
people
already,
I
can
say
in
our
one-on-one
conversations,
have
commented
that
not
being
able
to
socialize
with
each
other
outside
of
this
kind
of
publicly
live-streamed
meeting,
is
starting
to
sort
of
hamper
the
work
of
the
commission
and
make
it
hard
to
understand
who
always
on
it
and
form
relationships
with
each
other.
C
H
C
My
proposal
is
that
we
should
meet
virtually
like
all
of
our
business
should
be
held
virtually
until
the
end
of
the
pandemic.
Basically
until
we're
not
in
like
a
crisis
situation
with
public
health
and
hospitals
and
schools
and
whatnot,
and
the
rationale
for
doing
this
is
that
some
of
our
a
lot
of
our
community
members
are
likely
to
be
particularly
vulnerable
to
severe
covet
infection,
and
definitely
some
of
our
own
commissioners
have
vulnerability
to
covid.
C
So
in
order
to
make
it
so
that
everyone
can
participate
equitably,
we
kind
of
need
to
stay
virtual
for
our
business
meetings,
and
that
includes
our
regular
monthly
meetings
that
we
have
tonight,
as
well
as
special
meetings
or
meetings
of
committees
and
working
groups
to
do
commission
business
and
then
kind
of
moving
to
in-person
meetings.
So
it
might
happen
that
we
form
a
partnership
with
some
stakeholders
who
are
like.
C
We
can't
do
a
virtual
meeting
for
whatever
reason,
so
this
document
would
suggest
that
we
should
do
the
following
policies
that,
if
there's
a
very
bad
phase
of
the
pandemic.
So
if
we're,
if
we
have
a
spike
like
we
do
currently
with
omicron,
if
we
have
a
variant
that
is
evading
immunity,
that
people
would
otherwise
have
from
vaccination
or
previous
infection
or
if
we're
at
a
place
where
our
hospitals
are
over
75
capacity.
C
And
so
that's
the
covid
policy
for
masking
and
then
in
terms
of
social
gatherings.
You
know,
I
don't
think
that
we
should
be
having
social
gatherings
that
are
kind
of
official
commission
events
that
don't
follow
federal
state
and
local
regulations
about
kovid
is
basically
what
that's
saying,
and
it
also
says
that
until
the
pandemic
is
over,
we
should
have
half
of
our
social
gatherings
at
a
minimum
taking
place
virtually
so
that
we're
not
excluding
people
who
can't
meet
in
person.
C
And
then
kind
of
moving
on
to
the
social
gathering
part
of
the
document,
I'm
saying
that
social
gatherings
are
different
from
business
meetings.
Right
social
gatherings
are
just
let's
hang
out
and
get
to
know
each
other,
we're
not
getting
business
done
and
if
we're
organizing
social
gatherings,
we
don't
have
a
social
committee.
C
I
we
don't
want
to
exclude
people
from
our
gatherings
who
might
not
be
able
to
hang
out
at
a
gay
bar.
You
know
if
you're
in
recovery
from
alcohol
use
disorder
or
if
you
have
like
a
religious
tenant
that
keeps
you
from
going
out
to
a
bar.
We
probably
shouldn't
only
meet
at
a
bar,
so
we
should
sometimes
meet
at
places
that
aren't
the
bar.
C
C
We
can
have
one
or
two
out
of
every
four
gatherings.
That's
at
a
place
that
isn't
a
bar,
so
we
could
have
a
picnic
outside
go
to
a
restaurant.
We
could
do
a
coffee
shop
thing
and
we
could
also
sometimes
maybe
one
out
of
every
four
gatherings
while
there's
a
pandemic
one
out
of
every
two.
When
there's
not
a
pandemic,
we
could
go,
have
a
happy
hour
together.
E
B
On
the
it
looks
like
it's
on,
the
google
drive
correct,
luca.
I
Is
this
something
that
everyone
has
had
a
chance
to
look
over,
or
is
this
the
first
time
we're
all
seeing
it.
I
I
don't
know
if
anyone
else
would
like
to
do
that.
I
basically
as
far
as
whatever
the
commission
wants
to
do.
I
don't
have
a
strong
opinion.
My
only
note
was,
I
have
gotten
conflicting
feedback
about
whether
or
not
public
commissions
can
have
entirely
virtual
meetings
at
this
point
or
if
we
have
some
obligation
to
hold
a
public
space,
for
example
the
commission.
My
commission
has
a
hybrid
meeting
and
we
hold
a
space
where
people
can
attend
the
meeting.
I
I
If
there
was
some
reason
they
couldn't
join
virtually
and
the
reason
that
we're
doing
that
is
because
we've
had
some
feedback
saying
we're
allowed
to
have
a
fully
remote
meeting
and
some
feedback
that
says
no
you're
not
allowed
any
longer
to
have
a
fully
remote
meeting
because
of
changes
in
policy
that
exempted
us
from
having
to
have
a
fully
remote
meeting
during
the
pandemic.
So
I
don't
know
which
way
is
right.
We,
it
might
make
sense
to
look
more
into
that.
F
I
wanted
to
say
that
for
whenever
anyone
feels
like
they
can
have
an
in-person
meeting,
my
space
here
at
the
hispanic
corporation
is
wide
and
open,
and
I
just
hosted
an
event
for
some
carnegie
mellon
box
in
back
in
december.
Everybody
wears
masks,
so
the
place
is
there.
Is
I
just
wanted
to
make
sure
I
put
the
place
out
there,
that's
as
an
option
in
the
future.
B
B
I
I
would
prefer
that
this
be
shared
with
the
full
commission
and
that
we
we
we
make
a
decision
on
it
at
the
february
meeting
after
there's
a
good
reads,
particularly
just
because
there's
a
lot
of
text
there.
That
would
also
give
us
an
opportunity
to
look
into
the
things
that
jam
raised
in
his
comments,
which
which
are
interesting
and
it
raises
the
question.
Let's
just
say
there
never
had
been
a
pandemic.
B
A
All
right,
so
the
next
item
there
on
the
next
last
item
I
have
for
new
business,
is
kathy.
If
you
wanted
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
the
lgbtq
plus
housing
for
seniors.
G
C
G
C
Received
that
oh
did
it
did
it
go
to
marcus
and
billy
there
it
is
there.
It
is.
G
Thank
you,
okay.
Well,
everybody
good
for
those
of
you
who
don't
know
to
get
into
any
kind
of
financially
supportive
housing
for
a
senior
in
pittsburgh
takes
two
to
three
years
and
the
senior
community
of
lgbtq
people
are
not
normally
out
in
those
situations
because
it
can
be
dangerous
and
there
have
been
cases
all
over
the
country
where
things
have
not
gone
well
and
if
you're
interested.
I
could
tell
you
stories
locally,
but
I
have
been
working
with
presbyterian
senior
care,
probably
for
five
years.
G
G
B
Well,
I
think
we
would
I
I
can't
imagine
us
not
supporting
this.
I
think
that
you
know
the
letter
should
should
include
some
of
the
you
know
to
educate
all
of
us.
I
think,
since
you
mentioned
some
things
that
happen
locally,
if
you're
free
to
give
some
information
on,
why
it's
so
important
in
the
letter,
I
think
that
that
would
that
that
would
be
very
important
in
terms
of
the
the
letter
itself
being
an
educational
tool
around
this
issue.
G
I
can
give
you
a
quick
example
in
one
of
the
out,
not
in
allegheny
county,
but
one
of
the
counties
bordering
allegheny.
A
gentleman
I
was
working
with
had
been
very
popular
in
his
senior
high
rise.
Was,
you
know,
president
of
the
residence
council
would
go
to
bingo
and
drag
and
and
everybody
loved
him
well,
a
woman
moved
into
the
high-rise,
who
was
homophobic
and
horrified
that
he
was
there
and
open
about
it,
and
so
she
began
leaving
nasty
notes
publicly
on
his
door.
G
So
the
residential
manager
told
my
client
that
he
was
upsetting
the
high-rise
by
being
bullied,
and
so
he
had
to
move
well,
you
can
imagine
that
I
had
some
something
to
say
about
that,
and
that
was
changed,
but
that's
just
a
perfect
example:
where
kick
the
gay
guy
out,
you
know
because
people
are
upset
about
it
and
unfortunately
that
is
not
the
only
incident
of
things
that
I
have
seen
and
there
you
know
it's
people
are
worried
about.
Where
are
they
going
to
go?
Where
can
they
afford?
G
We
know
that
our
population
often
has
a
lower
income
than
the
heterosexual
community,
and
so
there's
just
lots
of
reasons
that
this
is
very
important
and
the
other
piece
about
presbyterian
senior
care
is
that
they
have
a
contract
with
sage
out
of
new
york
city
to
have
their
entire
staff
trained
to
be
culturally
competent.
G
I
did
their
management
team
years
ago
and
that's
what
led
to
this
housing
interest,
and
so
I
just
think,
if
anybody's
going
to
do
it
for
us
in
allegheny,
county
they're,
a
really
safe
bet
in
terms
of
treatment
and
trying
to
another
example,
is
jim
pfeiffer,
said
to
me
a
month
or
so
ago.
He
said
you
know:
we've
been
through
all
the
training,
and
we
know
that
q
or
queer
is
not
a
popular
word
with
seniors.
G
C
I
actually
do
have
a
question.
I
agree
that
it's
an
incredibly
important
project
and
that
senior
housing
for
our
community
needs
to
happen
with
a
lot
more
frequency
than
it
currently
does.
G
I
can
tell
you
that
the
location
is
in
oakland
when
you
come
off
of
376
going
into
oakland
across
from
what
used
to
be
a
hotel
there.
It
might
still
be
a
hotel,
there's,
an
empty
there's,
an
empty
piece
of
land
that
has
upmc
in
written
out
in
bushes
and
that's
where
it's
going
so
there's
no
building
there
at
all.
Now.
H
Kathy
I'll
add
that-
and
I
definitely
think
this
is
a
great
project.
Certainly
you
know
it's
something
that
can
help
to
be
able
to
meet
some
of
the
various
needs
of
individuals
within
our
community.
So
I
think
it's
definitely
an
awesome
project
for
our
city.
Is
this
something
that
you
could
share
with
us?
H
You
know
we
could
take
a
closer
look
at
and
also
I
was
just
wondering
in
general,
when
is
this
project
planning
to
be
able
to
start
to
launch
as
far
as
like
the
groundbreaking
and
what
is
it
official
timeline.
H
Is
there
has
there
been
any
conversations
about
the
type
of
services
that
will
be
available
on
site?
I
know
you
know
it
says
here
it's
hard
as
well
as
programming
service
coordination,
et
cetera,
any
other
type
of
programming
or
specific,
like
healthcare
programming
that
may
be
available
to
individuals
in
the
facility.
G
Yeah
it
will,
it
will
be
an
independent
living
facility,
so
the
expectation
is
that
people
will
be
well
enough
to
take
care
of
themselves,
but
the
programming
has
not
been
settled
yet
in
terms
of
what
all
will
be
available,
but
I
have,
I
think
I
have
the
ability
to
have
input
in
that,
so
when
they
get
to
the
point
where
they
start
talking
about
that
I'll
be
happy
to
take
suggestions
and
I'm
you
know,
I
know
that
they
in
their
in
all
their
housing.
G
G
G
K
G
K
Yeah
I
applaud
you
because
this
is
a
major
issue
in
even
even
in
our
region,
so
I
I
just
not
just
for
gay
people,
of
course,
but
also
for
people
calling
for
people
that
are
that
are
economically
challenged.
It's
a
huge
issue
so
to
have
a
a
facility
specifically
for
lgbt,
regardless
of
wherever
it
is,
is
necessary,
and
I
think
we
should
definitely
stand
with
you
and
and
stand
as
a
commission
in
support
of
that.
K
That
is
a
major,
major,
major
opportunity
that
will
put
us
on
the
map
in
the
city.
Yes,
in
a
partnership
with
presbyterian
they're
they're,
so
good.
Thank
you.
So
much
for
all
you
do
with
this.
G
Yeah
they
actually
visited
the
the
lgbtq
retirement
place
in
philly
and
one
in
california,
so
that
they
could
really
get
a
sense
of
of
what
was
working
and
what
wasn't.
What
went
well.
K
Is
there
a
projected
date
for
or
for
the
launch
and
for
the
completion.
G
They're
saying
in
winter
of
2023,
depending
on
when
they
can
finalize
all
the
funding.
G
G
G
A
Thank
you
kathy,
so
the
last
item
for
new
business
is
just
to
you
know.
We
wanted
to
have
kind
of
a
discussion
regarding
the
the
violence
that
we've
been
seeing,
especially
early
in
2022
to
in
southwestern
pennsylvania
towards
our
black
trans
community
and
just
towards
our
lgbtqia
plus
community
as
well.
A
So
I
know,
sued
shared
a
couple
emails
about
this.
We
had
a
little
bit
of
a
discussion,
but
just
kind
of
talk
a
little
bit
about
our
response.
You
know
how
we
you
know,
might
envision
ourselves
responding
to
this,
especially
you
know,
thinking
geographically
for
things
not
just
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh,
but
in
surrounding
areas
as
well.
So
just
wanted
to
open
that
up
for
discussion
and
maybe
even
comments
or
you
know
things
that
people
would
like
to
talk
through.
K
K
K
Violence,
domestic
partner,
violence
amongst
amongst
the
men
amongst
the
women,
is
a
lot
of
violence
amongst
the
lesbian
community
and
I'm
obviously
going
to
have
to
show
up
and
help
put
out
fires,
and
I
think
we
need
to
to
put
this
on
our
agenda
going
forward
and
look
at
ways
to
not
just
address
murder
but
violence
within
the
home
and
violence
amongst
children
who
go
up
to
be
adults
who
are
troubled
and
end
up
with
major
addictions
and
problems,
because
they're
don't
know
how
to
cope
with
the
violence
that
happened
at
home
or
or
the
children
or
the
young
people,
the
teenagers
that
are
put
out
because
of
their
sexuality
in
violent
ways
with
their
families.
K
I
mean
violence
is
just
not
murder,
murdering
a
trans
person,
but
there's
so
many
other
violent
acts
that
happen
that
cause
trauma
and
that
are
causing
ongoing
traumas
that
are
causing
ongoing
dilemma
situations
for
our
queer
community.
So
I
think
we
really
need
to
look
at
this
further
and
figure
out
ways
that
we
can
support
or
address
or
create
some
avenues
where
people
can
find
healing
and
hope
and
help
reduce
the
incidences
of
violence
in
the
city.
K
I
have
a
new
project
called
faith
in
blue
and
it's
it's
pastors
working
with
police
departments
and
one
of
the
things
that
that
we
want
to
do
is
create
training.
So
so
perhaps
we
can
do
a
training
to
make
people
more
sensitive
around
lgbt
concerns
and
realities
around
violence
in
neighborhoods
of
color
and
neighborhoods,
not
just
of
color
neighborhoods
everywhere,
because
it's
just
not
in
people
it's
just
not
with
people
of
color
it's
everywhere.
K
Maybe
maybe
we
can,
in
the
future,
do
some
trainings
or
do
some
offer
some
support
groups
with
people
who
have
experienced
violation
or
violent
incidences
or
relationships.
But
I
definitely
think
we
should
going
forward
revisit
this
and
make
this
a
part
of
what
we
offer
our
communities
as
commission
members.
F
This
is
also
something
where
I
have
my
interest
when
I
joined
the
commission,
because
you
know,
I
believe
that
there
is
there's
emotional
violence
among
people
that
may
still
be
in
the
closet
in
the
hispanic
community,
and
we
need
to
have
some
kind
of
training,
education
to
families,
parents,
even
even
children
or
for
teenagers,
and
I
think
it's
something
that
happens
because
of
cultural
matters,
and
so
you
know
it
could
be
that
we
have
education
going
on.
I
think
we
will
be
leading
people
into
a
better
path
rather
than
not
doing
anything.
K
Yeah
yeah
and
then-
and
there
may
be
opportunities
for
us-
maybe
not
to
create
something,
but
maybe
to
partner
with
some
agencies
that
are
already
doing
things
already
have
some
trainings
or
may
already
have
some
resources
in
place.
Maybe
we
can
just
have
something
as
part
of
our.
We
talked
about
items
on
our
website
or
on
our
webpage
to
have
a
list
of
resources
for
people
who
are
either.
K
Victims
or
the
perpetrators,
those
that's
an
opportunity
for
us
to
have
referrals
on
our
page
for
to
agencies
that
are
doing
like
par
and
other
groups
that
are
actively
doing
this
work.
Yeah.
F
Definitely
that
will
be
the
model
to
go.
You
know,
I
know
that
the
human
rights
commission
is
working
with
other
entities
to
implement
what
they
want
to
make
sure
it
happens.
F
I
do
know
that
there
are
already
institutions
in
the
latino
community
that
do
education
and
work
with
families,
but
they
need
to
have
a
frame
of
work
that
actually
may
may
be
good
that
it
comes
from
the
commission
yeah.
You
ask
them
to
include
that
in
their
educational
components,
as
they
are
already
working
with
families,
yeah
yeah
yeah.
A
I
think
that
makes
a
lot
of
sense.
I
think
especially,
is
where
we
start
to
you
know
we
have.
We
know
we
talked
about
the
goal
setting
you
know
follow-up
meeting
we're
going
to
have,
but
I
think
to
really
make
sure
we
incorporate
that
into
the
you
know,
work
that
we
do
and
prioritize
that,
and
you
know
also
plug
into
the
work
that
other
people
are
doing
and
you
know
help
make
sure
it's
reaching
our
community.
K
Yes,
sir,
definitely
and
as
we
become
more
public
and
as
people
begin
to
recognize
that
we
actually
do
exist,
it
will
be
important
for
us
to
be
a
resource.
K
You
know
not
just
not
just
a
not
just
a
commission
that
speaks
to
what
other
people
are
doing
all
the
time,
but
but
really
just
kind
of
have
or
become
that
kind
of
entity
that
that
can
be
a
a
reference
or
can
be
a
a
point
of
of
maybe
a
an
intersection
for
people
to
find
support
and
resources
for
what
they
may
be
addressing
whether
it's
housing
violence.
K
Whether
it's
you
know,
food
inequalities,
all
that
stuff
can
be
a
part
of
our
page
or
references
can
be
on
our
page
for
people
that
are
hiv
positive
for
people
that
are
dealing
with.
You
know
addictions
all
that
stuff.
It
has
a
different
context
in
the
context
of
our
of
being
lgbt
sometimes
so.
I
think
that.
F
This
is,
this
is
actually
where
we
start.
We
start
seeing
how
the
programming
may
be
unfolding
and
how
those
involved
in
this
commission
may
they
participate
based
on
their
skills.
You
know,
because
some
of
some
of
the
commissioners
actually
are
already
involved
in
some
of
those
activities
already
know
who
you
know.
Who
may
be
a
good
partner
for
this,
so
this
is
where
we
start
seeing
the
programming
developing.
F
Although
you
know
I
have
to
say
we
have
to
be
careful
into
how
much
we
want
to
adventure
and
conquer.
I
think
we
need
to
do
one
or
two
two
things
make
sure
that
we
do
them
correctly.
We
see
everybody
feels
the
progress
and
then
we
continue
repeat
the
model
in
something
else,
because
otherwise
you
would
just
leave
things
halfway
and
but
you
know
I
speak
about
that
because
being
myself,
somebody
who's
now
50
years
old.
F
You
know,
and
I
can
just
imagine
how
immigrant
latinos
that
are
already
living
here
are
living
their
lives
and
they
they
are
gays
and
they
may
still
be
in
the
closet
and
they're,
so
they're
still
living
with
all
these
myths,
and
all
these
things.
F
Of
course,
we
come
from
another
other
generations,
but
still
culturally
is
probably
the
same
problem
that
we're
facing
so
they're
already
living
in
this
country,
and
so
I
think
we
need
to
make
sure
that
these
people
feel
free
well,
at
least
for
the
community,
that
I'm
speaking
of
that's
my
interest
and
anybody
else
too.
But
I
think
you
understand
what
I'm
trying
to
convey
just
based
on
what
I
have
lived
myself.
K
A
Thank
you.
I
think
you
know
if
anybody,
I
think
you
know
this
stuff,
we
have
that
email
thread,
but
people
you
know
will
have
that
goal-setting
meeting
coming
up.
So
if
people
have
other
things
that
they
think
about
or
ways
we
can
incorporate
this,
then
I
think
let's
keep
that
moving.
A
The
last
thing
before
adjournment,
any
announcements
that
people
wanted
to
share.
That
might
be
helpful.
Just
for
the
group
or
just
to
put
out
there
any
events
or
things
coming
out.
K
K
I
will
email
them
I'll
email,
the
flyer
to
you.
Thank
you.
