From YouTube: Shade Tree Commission Meeting - 5/19/22
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Good
morning
good
morning,
thank
you
folks
for
joining
us.
It's
907
we're
bringing
the
meeting
to
order
hi
roy
thanks
for
joining
us
before.
Thank
you
for
being
on
the
road.
So,
first
we
don't
have
enough
members
that
are
available
for
today's
meeting,
so
we
will
not
be
voting
on
anything.
A
Our
meeting
will
obviously
be
very
short.
I
would
assume
due
to
this,
so
we'll
still
go
through
the
agenda,
but
it'll
be
more
of
just
a
working
session.
I
guess
so.
At
today's
meeting
we
have
myself
brian
miliniak,
matt
erb,
james
stitt,
jim
berry,
roy
blankenship
giselle.
I'm
sorry.
I
need
to
learn
how
to
say
your
name
properly,
so
I
don't
butcher
it
we'll
be
taking
our
minutes.
The
other
commissioner,
that
is
present
is
rebecca
kiernan.
A
So,
thanks
to
you
guys
for
braving
today's
meeting,
I
know
some
of
you
folks
are
sick.
I
know
a
lot
of
people
that
aren't
in
attendance
today
are
sick
with
kovid,
and
I
know
there
are
other
folks
dealing
with
sick
family
members.
So
thank
you
guys
for
not
having
any
horrible
things
happen
to
you
and
being
able
to
join
us.
A
We
obviously
without
being
able
to
vote,
will
not
be
going
through
our
meeting
minutes
of
march
and
april.
We
can
discuss
and
chat
about
the
priorities
that
were
sent
out,
as
it
is
still
in
draft
form,
but
obviously
yeah.
We
will
not
be
meeting
on
anything.
We
can
talk
about
future
meeting
dates.
Cuiba
was,
I
believed,
was
able
to
join
us
today
a
bit.
A
I
guess
something
must
have
came
up
with
her
also
so
I
guess
before
I
talk
for
a
while,
I
will
see
if
anybody
wants
to
start
off
with
discussing
anything
over
the
past
april
and
early
may
months,
being
old
business
or
new
business.
B
Remarkable
trees
remarkable
tree.
Thank
you
remarkable
ship
committee.
I
have
those
documents
the
drafts
to
review
that
full
document.
I
will
be
doing
that
here
in
the
next
week
is
my
goal
for
that,
so
that
I
can
then
convene
the
committee
to
look
at
it
review
it
and
comment
get
back.
You
know
start
that
process
with
the
end
goal
of
having
it
all
completed,
ready
for
the
august
meeting.
A
Wonderful
thank
you
and
I
would
like
to
backtrack
a
second
and
share
with
everyone
that
our
executive
session
meeting
that
was
recorded
is
too
big
of
a
file
for
me
to
send
through
email,
so
giselle
has
that
jump
drive.
The
city
has
the
jump
drive
that
has
the
meeting
on
it.
A
So
if
anybody
wanted
to
review
that,
you
have
to
reach
out-
and
I
guess
bring
in
a
jump,
drive
fyi
and
at
thank
you
and
then
obviously,
if
anybody
who's
at
today's
meeting
wants
to
re-review
today's
meeting,
we
are
able
to
review
any
of
our
past
meetings
on
the
youtube
channel,
and
that
being
said,
I
think
jim
you're
on
the
remarkable
tree
subcommittee
roy.
You
had
to
cut
away
because
you
had
an
existing
meeting
last
month.
A
A
Forest
subcommittee
and
cuibo
was
gonna
talk
about
that
today,
but
want
to
make
sure
that
you
know
you
know
that
you
can
join
a
subcommittee
after
if
you
were
not
at
that
meeting
and
just
letting
you
know
that
that
was
coming
up
in
the
future,
and
I
also
wanted
to
share
with
all
of
you
folks
did
everybody
go
on
and
complete
a
remarkable
tree
to
you
know
suggest
for
our
first
cohort
of
the
remarkable
trees.
A
If
you
didn't
please
let
me
know
I
can
resend
you
a
link.
It
takes
about
25
seconds.
It's
super
duper
easy.
You
can
have
pictures,
you
don't
have
to
know
what
the
tree
is
I'll
need.
C
A
I
will
resend
out
the
link
after
our
meeting
today
and
share
that
with
you
know
anybody
the
parameters
are
that
it
just
has
to
be
on
public
property
in
the
city
of
pittsburgh.
A
Rebecca
you
are
muted.
Did
you
want
to
say
it
hi,
rebecca.
D
A
I'll
resend
that
out
to
everybody,
I
can
I'll
do
it
right
after
the
meeting
and
I
think
we're
even
allowed
to
do
it.
You
know
again
multiple
times,
so
if
you
have
more
than
one
tree
that
you
want
to
nominate,
I'm
sure
that
we
can
do
that
too,
all
right
so
back
to
little
business,
new
business
matter,
old
business,
new
business.
A
Thumbs
up
as
in
wait
a
second
nope,
no
business
awesome.
I
I
got
you
roy
blankenship,
old
business
or
new
business,
we're
good
on
that
and
rebecca.
D
So
I
we've
onboarded
a
new
penton
state
intern.
Last
year
we
had
ali
who
helped
us
out
with
the
sorry.
My
brain
hurts
the
equitable
street
tree
investment
plan.
So
this
year
we
have
julia
who
is
going
to
help
us
with
outreach,
so
we're
sharing
her
with
city
forestry,
she's
gonna
do
do
some
work
with
tree
pittsburgh
and
then
the
park
rangers
around
and
david
feiner's
team
to
do
some
some
like
tree
promotion
videos,
maybe
a
documentary.
E
D
So,
just
thinking
about
like
the
remarkable
tree
stuff
too,
like
she's
in
pittsburgh,
so
it
could
be
like
on
the
ground.
You
know
taking
off
of
things.
F
F
Oh,
we
own
it
where's
the
database
reside.
A
So
I
believe
right
now,
tree
pittsburgh
is
managing
it
and
they
are
creating
the
database
based
on
the
folks
that
are
suggesting
trees,
yeah.
B
Yeah
and
and
this
this
initial
set
of
nominations
is
we'll
call
it
like
a
beta
testing,
if
you
will
so
the
official
we're
still
working
through
that
that
document,
the
all
the
the
details
of
the
language
and
everything
so
the,
but
the
site
is
launched
kind
of
doing
a
a
soft
launch.
If
you
will
to
collect
the
victory,
you
know
our
nominations
at
least
and
anyone
else.
B
We
share
that
link
with
and
then
now
that'll
be
kind
of
a
good
tester
and
I
would
say
of
getting
it
up
before
it's
really
kind
of
pushed
out
very
publicly.
A
Yes
agreed
and
jim
you're
a
part
of
that
subcommittee
too,
and
I
feel
like
I'm.
This
might
just
I
I
might
be
repeating
myself,
but
we
are
gonna.
You
know
we
didn't
have
any
subcommittees
really
last
year
and
we're
gonna
try
and
re-adopt
having
sub-committees
and
changing
our
meeting
rubric.
If
you
will
so
that
meetings
our
month
or
our
annual
meetings
will
not
be
just
six
of
us
here
and
me
talking
it'll
be
every
other
month
where
people
will
provide
updates
on
their
subcommittee.
A
A
So
I
feel
like
most
of
the
folks
here
already
know
that
and
some
of
the
folks
that
may
not
get
to
attend
meetings
if
anyone
sees
them
anywhere
and
you
feel
like
plugging
shade
tree
stuff,
please
tell
them
that
shaytri
subcommittees
are
not
or
not
to
take
more
of
your
time,
it's
just
to
make
time
more
beneficial
and
more
productive.
A
Yes
and
reporting
on
the
data,
as
well
as
you'll,
be
able
to
you
know,
say
what
kind
of
glitches
like
brian
was
saying,
because
as
of
right
now,
I
believe
there's
only
been
like,
I
don't
know,
maybe
10
or
12
people
that
have
submitted
anything
matt.
Do
you
know
any
different
numbers
or
anything?
I
don't
know
maeve
sent
an
email.
I
have
to
respond
back
to
her,
but
it
was
regarding
the
shade
the
subcommittee
meetings,
so
yeah.
The
august
meeting
would
be
the
first
time
that
a
subcommittee
will
be
presenting.
A
Hopefully
you
guys
will
be
able
to
meet
more
than
once
this
summer
and
will
develop
your
own
schedule
so
that
you
know
every
other
meeting
that
we
actually
have.
There
will
be
some
kind
of
a
progress
report
on
that.
F
A
Roll,
your
muted,
if
you
wanted
to
talk,
I
cannot
meet
you.
I
think.
No,
I
can't
okay,
so
old
business
and
new
business
is
wrapped
up.
Did
anybody
brian?
Did
you
have
anything
you
wanted
to
add
about
reports
like
penn
state
stuff,
obviously
not.
B
B
We've
been
working
with
san
copa,
village,
as
and
now
that
in
land
force
as
well,
that
we're
going
to
have
some
of
their
folks
attend,
and
it's
also
available
for
kind
of
regular
paid
registrants
as
well.
So
just
right
now
trying
to
balance
the
numbers
there
and
and
find
out
how
many
people
are
coming
from
like
from
land
force
waiting
here
back
from
them.
B
D
G
We're
kind
of
wrapping
up
tree
planting
season
we're
over
at
manchester
elementary
school.
Today
we
were
gonna
plant
there
in
early
may,
but
there
was
a
special
election,
so
the
school
had
to
shut
down
because
it's
a
polling
place
so
we're
out
there.
Today,
the
pittsburgh
steelers
are
coming
to
help
plant
those
trees.
So
that's
exciting
I'll,
probably
be
super
excited
for
those
kids
and
then
we're
into
tree
care
season.
So
we
have
a
smaller
tree
care
crew.
G
This
summer
we
have
two
individuals
that
will
be
working
three
days
a
week
doing
tree
care
throughout
the
city.
That
was
a
program
formerly
funded
by
the
pittsburgh
shadrich
commission.
We
have
now
attained
alternative
funding
to
keep
that
program
going
and
so
we'll
be
out
those
that
crew
will
be
out
watering,
mulching,
weeding
straightening
trees
throughout
the
city
and
we're
working
on
our
tree
canopy
data
from
2020.
So
I
hope
to
be
able
to
present
that
to
the
shade
tree
commission
later
this
summer,.
A
A
That
don't
work
for
the
city
were
asked
to
interview
with
the
mayor's
office
to
see
if
we're
still
gonna
be
part
of
the
sha
tree
commission
and
I
was
able
to
meet
with
him,
but
most
of
us
have
had
our
meetings
cancelled
and
still
not
rescheduled
or
not
scheduled,
and
I
did
email
again
what
two
weeks
ago
asking
about
our
sha
tree
commission
meeting.
A
That
was
also
not
attended
and
the
rescheduling
of
my
meeting,
and
I
have
not
heard
anything
back
yet,
and
I
told
lisa
and
lisa
said
that
she
would
reach
out
to
somebody
to
see.
If,
because
I
said
that
nobody
else
had
had
their
meeting
to
see
where
the
mayor's
office
was
with
that.
So.
C
Christian,
no,
I
was
actually
in
a
meeting
with
the
mayor
yesterday
morning.
That's
exciting
the
issue
of
violence
and
and
how
prevalent
it's
showing
its
head
before
the
summer
right
now,
his
office
is
working
on
trying
to
find
the
most
that
they
can
give
to
the
city
to
help
sort
of
curb
things
and
make
things
right
for
residents.
You
know
this
summer,
so
it's
more
of
a
safer
and
better
city.
So
right
now
I
know
for
a
fact.
His
office
and
a
lot
of
others
are
working
completely.
C
A
C
Kids,
it's
a
fickle
thing
right
now
and
and
basically
it's
an
underlying
initiative
to
try
to
get
everyone
on
board
to
do
their
part
and
help
with
this
violence.
C
So
what
I
would
say
is
that
maybe
we
can
come
up
with
some
kind
of
small
initiative
to
do
as
we're
doing
these
things
around
the
community,
see
if
we
can
get
people
involved
in
the
weeding-
and
you
know
some
of
our
initiatives
that
are
getting
ready
to
happen.
A
Yeah
there's
plenty
of
things
to
do.
I
I
just
assume
that
everybody
has
signed
up
for
the
city's
press
releases.
Giselle
is
on
listening
right
now,
city
giselle.
If
you
wanted
to
give
any
plugs
to
city
blocks,
or
you
know
any
of
the
great
programs
that
you
work
on
with
the
city
for
people
that
can
volunteer
and
help
with
beautification
and
safety
issues,
not
to
put
you
on
the
spot,
no.
H
Absolutely
happy
to
be
on
the
spot,
because
I
get
to
talk
about
love
your
block.
So
if
y'all
don't
already
know
love
your
block
is
a
reimbursement
grant
that
community
groups
and
or
non-profits
can
apply
for
and
this
year
we
have
something
super
special.
So
in
past
years
we've
only
been
able
to
provide
fifteen
hundred
dollar
grants
this
year,
we're
thinking
a
little
bit
bigger
and
we're
thinking
about
five
thousand
dollar
grants.
H
And
we're
really
excited
to
see
now
we
do
have
some
office
hours.
If
you
just
want
to
stop
by
ask
some
questions,
learn
a
little
bit
more.
It's
going
to
be
virtual,
which
I'm
kind
of
glad
about
since
things
seem
particularly,
and
I
will
share
those
those
office
hours
in
just
a
second
just
pulling
them
up
right
now,
scrolling
scrolling
scrolling.
C
Is
that
all,
if
possible,
please
make
sure
you
send
me
a
direct
email
just
with
the
information
I'd,
be
happy
to
share
and
pass
that
information
along
to
quite
a
few
residents.
C
Anything
we
have
on
our
cleanups
guys
that
we're
we're
doing
initiatives
please
share
it
straight
direct
to
my
email,
like
I
said,
I'm
in
transition
from
workplaces,
and
I
have
a
lot
of
things
happening
so
right
now
that
direct
email
is
the
better
way
to
do
things.
For
me,.
H
A
Giselle-
and
that
would
be
great,
if
you
send
it
out-
you
know
also
to
roy,
please
if
you
could
send
it
out
for
everybody
else
too,
and
guys
it's
so
easy
to
sign
up
for
press
releases.
It
takes.
You
know
like
two
seconds
you
can
sign
up
for
everything
and
they
just
send
it
directly
to
your
email
address,
and
then
you
know
what's
going
on,
you
know
when
you're
straight's
getting
paid,
you
know
when
things
are
getting
shut
down.
A
A
Yeah,
thank
you
guys.
Keep
going
yourself.
H
Yeah,
so
just
so
you
know
so
next
monday
and
tuesday
we
have
office
hours
and
then
june,
2nd
and
3rd.
We
also
have
office
hours
I'll,
be
sending
out
the
the
the
information
to
everybody's
email.
So
everybody
knows,
but
please
know
that
this
is
a
great
program
to
help
start
community
gardens
to
help
start
cleanups.
We
want
to
help
build
sustainability
in
our
communities
block
by
block.
H
So
if
you
guys
need
anything
or
are
curious
about
this
program,
please
feel
free
to
reach
out
to
me
directly
and
I'd
be
happy
to
walk
through
it
and
happy
to
have
a
chance
to
talk
about
this
really
awesome
program.
A
A
All
right
so
then
that
would
wrap
up
a
good
portion
of
our
meeting.
I
just
would
like
to
say
quickly
what
I
was
hoping
and
obviously
you
know
without
having
folks
here
we
can't
vote,
but
we
are
supposed
to
have
a
meeting
june
16th.
A
We
do
not
have
meetings
ever
in
july,
then
august.
We
we
have
meetings
august,
18
september
october
november
and
then
no
meeting
for
december.
So
what
I'm
hoping
to
propose
at
our
next
meeting,
which
is
going
to
have
to
be
in
june
and
hope
that
we
have
enough
people
to
actually
vote
on
something
will
be
to
change
our
meeting
frequency
for
the
remainder
of
the
year,
so
that
stuff
actually
is
accomplished
in
between
meetings
and
instead
of
time
not
being
used
as
efficiently
as
it
could.
Time
will
be
used
more
efficiently.
A
So
the
people
that
aren't
on
subcommittees
are
going
to
end
up
being
on
a
subcommittee
so
that
everybody
is
giving
something
back
to
the
shade
tree
commission.
On
last
week
I
sent
a
couple
of
documents
to
you
guys.
One
was
the
ordinance
information
where
it
says
how
many
meetings
we
actually
have
to
have
as
well
as
it
states
that
we're
supposed
to
have
two
meetings
a
year
with
the
mayor,
so
I
am
going
to
propose
that
for
this
november
we
have
an
executive
session
with
the
mayor
and
for
2023.
A
A
I
do
know
we
have
not
approved
our
2022
priorities,
yet
we
were
trying
to
get
with
the
mayor
to
do
that.
But
obviously
that
is
something
that
cannot
happen
due
to
the
state
of
the
affairs.
So
hopefully
we
can
have
enough
people
at
next
month's
meeting.
So
we
can
vote
on
priorities.
A
We
can
vote
on
frequency
schedule.
We
can
vote
on
whatever
else
people
might
want
to
bring
up
or
vote
on
like
february's
march
and
april's
minutes,
but
I
also
when
we
are
done
can
share
that
document
with
everybody
for
future.
You
know
in
theory,.
A
We
were
able
to
vote
on
these
things
today
and
not
have
a
june
meeting,
so
the
subcommittee
could
meet
in
june
july.
We
would
have
our
break
and
then
august
reconvene
with
two
subcommittees
present,
but
obviously
that
is
not
going
to
happen.
I
hope
you
guys
know
I
I
do
love
to
talk
and
anytime.
You
guys
need
to
talk.
You
can
reach
out.
If
I
don't
make
things
clear
or
you
don't,
like
speaking
in
a
group,
I
totes
understand
well.
C
Kristin,
I
was
just
about
to
say
that
I
bit
like
I
said
I've
been
in
the
flurry
of
things.
I'm
gonna
definitely
need
brought
up
his
speed
a
little
bit
and
possibly
for
the
remarkable
tree
rescinded
the
information
and
everything
on
that,
because
that
does
sound
like
a
subcommittee
that
I
would
be
interested
in,
but
I
I
need
to
get
the
bit.
You
know
find
time
and
the
bandwidth
and
stuff
so
of.
A
Course,
thank
you.
Roy
we'll,
be
sending
be
sure
to
send
that
information.
A
E
Nothing
really
the
only
thing
that
just
from
just
think
about
this
pwsa
standpoint
is
the
first
phase
of
our
stormwater
master
plan
is
coming
to
a
close
and
should
be
available
for
review
by
the
end
of
next
month.
That's
just
a
very
broad
high
level,
look
at
stormwater
across
the
whole
city,
and
then
the
next
phase
will
be
to
dig
in
deep
and
start
looking
at
specific
sites
and
specific.
You
know,
techniques
and
bmps
to
implement
at
these
areas.
E
So
something
worthwhile
for
us
to
keep
our
eye
on.
As
you
know,
trees
will
be
a
big
part
of
that
program
and
that
plan
for
storm
water
management.
A
That's
wonderful
and
it
would
be
lovely
if
you
know
you
wanted
to
present
at
a
meeting
to
everybody
after
that.
First
phase
goes
down
that
way.
People
you
know
might
not
be
able
to
find
the
time
to
read
the
document,
but
you
can
share
that
and
I'm
not
trying
to
put
you
on
the
spot.
Just
I
want
you
to
know
that
I
care
about
what
you
have
what
you're
doing,
and
I
I
think
it
you
know
it's
something.
That's
great.
A
You
know
if
anybody
wants
to
share
anything
like
I'm
hoping
that
cuiva
will
share
her
past
adventures
of
this
winter
and
spring
at
our
next
scheduled
meeting.
You
know
matt
for
him
to
share
when
he
gets
the
treat
ready
brian
to
share
the
success
of
you
know
tree
climbing
school.
All
these
things
hi
mike
panzina,
thanks
for
jumping
on
we're,
actually
getting
ready
to
close
up,
since
we
didn't
have
enough
people
here
for
much
things.
So
we
were
just
talking
right
now.
A
No
worries
we
were
just
wrapping
up
and
I
was
just
I
just
finished
with
james
stitt
and
gets
telling
him
that
he
should
present
sometime
jim
berry.
Did
you
have
any
thing
that
you
wanted
to
share
a
question
ad.
A
Nope
rebecca
I'm
good
thanks,
thank
you
and
roy
did
you
have
anything.
A
Thank
you
and,
and
mike
thanks
for
joining
us.
Obviously
you
you
know
what
weren't
here,
but.
F
I
A
Thank
you
and
you
are
on
the
meeting
invitation
emails
right,
like
the
annual
when
we
just
changed
the
meeting
the
three
times
over
this
past
week.
I
A
Yes,
so
in
the
past
I
sent
the
link
out
just
to
the
commissioners
that
monday
before,
but
what
I'll
do
going
forward
is,
I
will
put
the
link
in
our
calendar,
invite
every
you
know
monday
that
way
when
you
go
to
it
for
that
meeting,
it
is
there
and
you're
not
trying
to
search
through
past
emails.
It
seems
like
that
might
work
better.
A
A
I
know
it's
always
challenging
trying
to
find
old
emails
or
new
emails
that
have
things
in
it,
but
I
know
that
our
calendar
is
pretty
fluent,
so
I
can
just
always
go
in
there
and
do
the
updates-
and
you
know
hope
that
you
guys
get
that
blurb.
A
Me
too,
every
most
people
here
know
that
I
am
not
a
technological
guru
by
any
means.
That's
the
beauty
of
having
students
to
just
hand,
things
to
and
say
help
me
or
you
know
you
folks,
with
kids,
I'm
sure
that
they're
helpful
or
you
could
just
be
technological
guru
yourself
for
one
reason
or
another,
all
right
awesome.
So
does
anybody
else
have
anything
that
they
would
like
to
add
comment
on
make
public
for
our
meeting
today.
